Sabah Sticks With CMCO, Sarawak May Follow Too!

When the Prime Minister of Malaysia announced MCO 3.0 restrictions will apply nationwide, he also said that specific SOP for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will continue to be enforced.

However, it appears that Sabah is taking a step further, and Sarawak may follow suit.

The minister handling COVID-19 affairs for Sabah, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said that Sabah will stick to its current CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) SOPs.

Areas under Enhanced MCO like Felda Umar, Kalabakan, PPR Batu 2 Lorong Habib Abdul Rahman, PPR Batu 8 Jalan Apas of Tawau and Kompleks Abedon, will continue until their scheduled end dates.

Meanwhile, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (DMC) chairman Datuk Douglas Uggah Embas said that they will decide whether to enforce the nationwide MCO tomorrow.
