ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018 Updates!

On August 17, 2018, BenQ ZOWIE announced its sponsorship of eXTREMESLAND, the annual esports event for Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) players in the Asia-Pacific region. The event will hence be known as ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018.

Here are the updates on ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018 since it kicked off.

 

ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018

ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018 aims to become the largest Counter-Strike Global OffensiveCS:GO tournament in Asia while providing an  honest and fair battleground for Asian CS:GO players.

ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018 will cover 20 qualifiers across the Asia-Pacific region, and 3 qualifiers in China, starting from August to October 2018.

16 teams will be qualified to represent their countries to participate in the finals of the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2018, from October 18th to 21st in Shanghai, China with total prize pool of USD $100,000 dollars.

 

Team FrostFire Advances To Shanghai Asia Finals!

ZOWIE Malaysia just announced that Team FrostFire won the eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Malaysia Qualifier and will now advance to the Shanghai Asia Finals! Congratulations, Team FrostFire!

The BenQ ZOWIE EC-B Gaming Mice + G-SR SE Mouse Pad Launched!

March 5, 2018 BenQ today announced the release of two ZOWIE EC-B eSports gaming mice – the ZOWIE EC1-B and the ZOWIE EC2-B – as well as the ZOWIE G-SR SE mousepad. Here are the full details!

 

The BenQ ZOWIE EC-B Gaming Mice

While functionally similar, the new ZOWIE EC-1B and EC2-B have been crafted to offer unsurpassed ergonomics for right-handed eSports players with all controls within immediate access of the user’s fingertips and for a natural, comfortable grip when held. The EC-1B offers a larger form factor for eSports players with large hands while the EC2-B is sized for smaller hands.

In addition to the 3360 sensor, the EC-B eSports gaming mouse series also integrates a USB report rate switch at the bottom of the mouse. This allows users to change the report rate to one of four preset settings on the fly without having to install additional software.

A series of DPI indicator lights on the EC-B eSports gaming mouse series enables users to easily see their DPI at a glance. Another enhancement for a smoother gaming experience is the inclusion of four smaller, frictionless pads versus two large ones on the underside of the EC-B eSports gaming mouse series compared to previous ZOWIE eSports gaming mice.

BenQ is also proud to announce its continued commitment to the renowned Counter-Strike series. In a special collaboration with Valve, BenQ will release the CS:GO version of the ZOWIE EC-B series eSports gaming mouse series for fans of ZOWIE and Counter-Strike soon.

 

The BenQ ZOWIE G-SR SE Mousepad

The ZOWIE G-SR SE mousepad measures 480 x 400 millimetres and has been constructed of a combination of cloth and rubber that is just 3.5mm thin to offer a consistently smooth glide for gamers. The 100% rubber base ensures enhanced stability when placed on any surface.

BenQ Announces eSports Gaming Brand – ZOWIE

21 June 2016BenQ has announced that the ZOWIE brand will represent its future releases in the gaming line.

BenQ acquired ZOWIE in 2015 in order to aggressively lead its eSports offerings with products that deliver true competitive advantages. The company will continue to show its commitment to gamers by providing eSports athletes with premium professional gaming products via the ZOWIE brand.

This means all future BenQ gaming-related merchandise will be introduced under the ZOWIE brand name. The new ZOWIE-branded eSports devices will focus on ergonomics and personalization to provide innovations that truly enhance player performance and enjoyment.

Right from its inception, the ZOWIE brand has been dedicated to the development of competitive gaming products in close cooperation with professional players. Accordingly, it develops different products that adapt to their personal preferences.

The eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia CS:GO 2016 will feature, ZOWIE, the brand that represents BenQ’s eSports product line-ups, as the title sponsor and the official monitor provider in the coming tournaments, the competition will cover over 20 countries across Asia-Pacific.

Nearly a thousand CS: GO teams are set to take part in the qualifiers from July till August. The qualifiers include both online and/or offline competitions and 16 teams will emerge from these qualifications and battle it out during the Asia Grand Final held at China in September to contend for the prize pool of $100,000. Incidentally, the eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia CS:GO 2016 Malaysia Championship local qualifier for Malaysia will be held in Kuala Lumpur at Orange eSport Stadium on the 31 st July 2016.

ZOWIE product experience will be available throughout the local qualifier event. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
