People are sharing videos on YouTube, TikTok and social media platforms, which claim to show Celine Dion attending her son’s wedding in a wheelchair, after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.

It’s just so heart breaking to watch !!

This is yet another example of fake news created to go viral on YouTube, TikTok and social media platforms, and here are the reasons why…

Celine Dion revealed her diagnosis in December 2022

First, let’s start with a quick recap on Celine Dion’s Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis.

Celine Dion (born Céline Marie Claudette Dion on 30 March, 1968) announced in an emotional video on 8 December 2022, that she had been struggling with health issues for a long time.

She did not mention how long ago she started experiencing muscle spasms, but they became so “severe and persistent” that on 19 October 2021, she delayed her Las Vegas residency. Then on 15 January 2022, she was forced to cancel the US and Canadian concerts from 9 March to 22 April 2022.

It was only recently that the muscle spasms Celine Dion was suffering from was diagnosed as Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) – a rare neurological disorder with features of an autoimmune disease.

I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time. And it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.

Recently I’ve been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome which affects something like one-in-a-million people.

While we’re still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what’s been causing all of the spasms I’ve been having.

Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.

That lady was Kathy Poirier, not Celine Dion

The lady in the wheelchair was not Celine Dion, but a 55 year-old mother called Kathy Poirier from Florida.

Kathy Poirier suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is a progressive nervous system disease that causes a loss of muscle control.

When her 28 year-old son, Zak Poirier, married Anja d’Adesky, 27, on 9 April 2022, she had already lost the ability to walk, and arrived in a wheelchair.

The viral videos were edited to show Celine Dion (really Kathy Poirier) being lifted to hug her son who tears up, before she is placed back on her wheelchair.

In the real video, Kathy actually danced with her son on his wedding day! In his now-deleted Instagram post, Zak explained:

My Mom was diagnosed with ALS shortly before I graduated law school. Since that time, I’ve watched her bravely fight her diagnosis and challenge the odds against her.

Despite not being able to stand on her own, my Mom and I shared a dance at my wedding. She inspires me every day to be humble, kind and selfless. Love you Mom.

On that day, Zak and his two brothers escorted her to the dance floor for the mother-son dance. The three brothers then lifted her off the wheelchair.

With his brothers holding her upright, Kathy Poirier was able to dance with Zak that day. Her sons then lowered her back onto her wheelchair while their guests gave them a standing ovation.

Their wedding planner, Root to Stems also posted a video on Instagram, which went viral last year.

Celine Dion can still stand and walk

Just to be clear, Celine Dion is not suffering from ALS, but from SPS – Stiff Person Syndrome.

As of September 2024, Celine Dion is able to stand and walk on her own, as well as sing and act. In fact, she just finished a commercial for L’Oréal Paris.

– Yes my sister and I orgasm as one, but when I sleep with my husband she’s usually reading a book or listening to a true crime podcast so she just puts the pleasure out of her mind.

Truth : Abby + Brittany Hensel Did Not Reveal Sex Life As Siamese Twins!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news circulating on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Abby + Brittany Hensel Do Not Have X Account

Let me start by simply pointing out that Abby and Brittany Hensel do not have an account on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The @2headsarebetter account on X does not belong to the twin sisters, but rather, Nick Burroughs, who lives in the United Kingdom, and is the Managing Director of PMD Limited.

If they created an account on X, they wouldn’t name it Brittany and Abby Hensel either. In their previous social media accounts, they have always referred to themselves alphabetically – Abby and Brittany Hensel.

Fact #2 : Abby + Brittany Hensel Are Only Active On TikTok

Abby and Brittany Hensel used to be active on Instagram, but appeared to have stopped posting since 11 August 2015.

The twin sisters appear to be only active on TikTok, where they have over 273,000 followers as of 2 April 2024.

Fact #3 : Abby + Brittany Hensel Screenshot Is Fake

The viral screenshot purportedly posted by Abby and Brittany Hensel is fake. The sisters never posted those comments on X, or anywhere else for the matter.

Unsurprisingly, none of those who posted the screenshot ever provided any link to the actual X post, or an archive.

Fact #4 : Abby + Brittany Hensel Only Spoke Out Against Haters

The sisters have been very quiet about their private lives. Abby Hensel actually tied the knot with Josh Bowling, a nurse and army veteran in 2021. But the sisters only revealed it in July 2023. So why would they be so open about their sex life out of the blue?

More importantly, Abby and Brittany Hensel addressed the hatred they received after their wedding announcement:

Fact #5 : They Were Posted On April 1

I should also point out that the screenshot and comments were posted on 1 April 2024 – April Fool’s Day.

It is highly likely that they were posted as satire, or to troll people on April Fool’s Day for engagement (and $$$).

Unfortunately, it is also very likely that the screenshot will continue to be shared for a long time after this, by people who don’t know better, or those just want to troll for engagement (and money).

People are sharing this photo, claiming or suggesting that it shows a Muslim man who just married a very young girl.

Truth : That Muslim Man Did Not Marry An 8 Year-Old Girl!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on X (formerly Twitter), and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : The Photo Was From 2016

The viral photo isn’t new, even though people are posting it in 2023. It has been circulating since 2016, and keeps going viral over the years.

Fact #2 : The Photo Was Taken In Turkey

Even though some have posted the photo together with screenshots of news articles suggesting that this occurred in Yemen, the viral photo was actually taken in Elâzığ, a city in Turkey.

Fact #3 : It Was A Kindergarten Ceremony

Regardless of what’s been claimed on social media, the viral photo does not show an old man and his very young wife. Neither does it show a wedding of the man and the very young girl.

The photo is one of many taken at a private kindergarten in Elâzığ, Turkey, showing the celebration ceremony held for children – boys and girls, who successfully completed their Quran education.

Notably, the girls came to the kindergarten ceremony dressed in costumes, including wedding dresses. However, it does not mean that they were there to be married off to old men!

The man in the viral photo is apparently the kindergarten’s principal, who shared those photos on the kindergarten’s social media account.

Needless to say – the parents of those children were also present! The photos also show the children receiving presents.

Fact #4 : Bride Who Died On Wedding Night Was A Different Girl

The shocking case of an 8 year-old Yemeni girl called Rawan, who allegedly died on her wedding night, has been tied to this viral photo.

Allegedly, the girl died from internal bleeding and a uterine rupture, after having intercourse with her 40 year-old husband on their wedding night in the northwestern Yemeni town of Meedi.

The story was reported by a Yemeni social activist, and confirmed to Reuters by two residents in Meedi. However, a security official in the provincial town of Haradh denied that any such incident occurred. To date, no additional details have been reported, and it is not known if this incident actually happened.

Even if the story is true, that incident was reported in September 2013 – more than 10 years ago. That case has nothing to do with the viral photo above, which was taken three years later – in 2016.

Fact #5 : Dead Bride + Husband Photos Are False

To be clear – no known photo exists of the 40 year-old man, or his 8 year-old bride who allegedly died on their wedding night. The two viral photos that often accompany that story were misappropriated.

The man in the screenshot below is actually Ebrahim Yusuf Kazi, a 67 year-old imam who was jailed in 2011 for two years for sexually assaulting three young girls in the United Kingdom.

The girl, who appears to be dressed as a bride, was apparently taken from a Russia-1 video uploaded in 2012, about child brides in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) of the former Soviet Union.

I should also point out that the girl’s name is not Ilham Mahdi al Assi. That is a 13 year-old Yemeni girl who died after bleeding from her first sexual intercourse with her 23 year-old husband, Abed al-Hikmi. That happened in April 2010, and her husband was detained by the police.

Claim : Danielle Hampson Died In Car Crash On Wedding Day!

A number of rumour / fake news websites have been capitalising on Danielle Hampson’s tragic death on the day of her wedding to X Factor star, Tom Mann.

They are claiming that she died from a car accident, and many even created videos that purportedly show the CCTV footage of the car accident that killed her. Here are a few examples.

After the news came out everyone is intrigued to know the cause of her death. A car accident took the life of Danielle Hampson (confirmed).

The SportsGrail : Danielle Hampson Fiancee Of Singer Tom Mann Cause Of Death, Obituary, Car Accident, Age, Bio, Kid, Instagram

Everyone is curious to know the circumstances behind her passing once the news broke that Danielle Hampson died in a motor vehicle collision.

TMZ.NG : Danielle Hampson: How She Die? Cause Of Her Death

Danielle Hampson was killed in an [sic] car accident (confirmed).

WePublishNews : Danielle Hampson Dancer Car Accident: Cause Of Death, Funeral

Daniella Hampson’s Car Accident on 18 June 2022, happened exactly on her wedding day. Danielle Hampson died in an accident, a source revealed.

No Evidence Danielle Hampson Died In Car Crash!

This is just another example of FAKE NEWS created to generate page views and income through advertisements, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Danielle Hampson’s Cause Of Death Was Never Revealed!

No one has publicly revealed Danielle Hampson’s cause of death. Not her fiancee, Tom Mann. Not her colleagues. Not even her own family.

That does not mean people get to make up stories, and claim that she died from COVID-19 vaccines, or a car accident.

When her family or her fiancee reveal how she died, we will know. Until then, don’t waste your time on websites and blogs that create celebrity fake news just to get more traffic.

On the first anniversary of her death, Tom Mann posted an emotional tribute to Danielle Hampson. Even then – one year later, he continued to maintain his silence about how she died.

Fact #2 : Tom Mann Suggested New Details About Her Death

In his first anniversary tribute, Tom Mann suggested that he woke up next to her in bed that morning, and she was at a hospital when she died:

1 year ago, I put on my suit expecting to meet you at that town hall & tell you ‘I do’. I ended up wearing it in a hospital waiting room.

1 year ago, I had woken up beside you for the last time.

No answers to how or why, and no words to articulate any of these feelings. Nothing makes any sense & everything has changed. I don’t know why you couldn’t stay.

That suggests that Danielle Hampson likely did not die in a car crash, although that remains a possibility.

Fact #3 : CCTV Videos Of Danielle Hampson’s Car Crash Are Fake

A number of these websites created fake YouTube videos about Danielle Hampson’s car accident, claiming to be leaked CCTV footage.

None of them contain any CCTV footage. They only used edited screenshots from random car accidents as the video title screens to get you to click on the videos.

That’s because they are all monetising these fake videos on YouTube, which apparently have no problem with such fake videos. One website – UpToBrain – created at least four videos with screenshots from four different car accidents.

Take a look at just six of the many videos that claim to show Danielle Hampson’s car accident. So many different car accidents in different countries. Which is the real car crash that allegedly killed Danielle Hampson? NONE OF THEM!

To be clear – there is no CCTV footage of any car accident involving Danielle Hampson.

Fact #3 : None Of Them Offered Any Evidence

Even if we ignore the fact that Danielle Hampson’s family and fiancee never said publicly how she died, there is currently no evidence that she was killed in a car accident, or by COVID-19 vaccines.

None of those websites claiming that she died in a car accident offered anything remotely close to “evidence”. Only one – Vimbuzz (which creates a ton of celebrity nonsense articles) – dared to claim that “a source” told them.

Despite extensive coverage by mainstream media, including People, The Guardian and The Daily Mail, they all continue to point out that her cause of death remains unknown.

Even TMZ, which managed to get Betty White’s autopsy report, has not been able to find out how Danielle Hampson died.

Now, it is plausible that she may have died in a car accident, but she could have easily died from many other causes – from a ruptured aneurysm, or a stroke to a sudden cardiac arrest, which are arguably far more likely.

Until we know for certain – we cannot simply jump to conclusions… or fall for the fake news / fake videos created by people whose only motivation is to make money from your views and clicks.
