vivo is about to launch the X50 and X50 Pro smartphones, with a unique gimbal camera system!

Here is a comparison of the two upcoming vivo smartphones, to help you decide between the two!

Let’s start with the official vivo X50 and X50 Pro presentation, which gives you an overview of both models, with their specifications at the end.

 

vivo X50 + X50 Pro Smartphones Compared!

The vivo X50 and X50 Pro smartphones are similar in many ways, but with some crucial differences :

Display : Only Different At The Edges

They both come with a 6.56-inch AMOLED display, with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels, and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The only difference – the basic X50 has a flat display with 2.5D edges, while the X50 Pro display has 3D curved edges.

Performance : Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G

They are both built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mobile SoC, which features eight Qualcomm Kryo 475 processor cores, and the Qualcomm Adreno 620 GPU.

Memory + Storage : Only Storage Capacity

They both also come with 8 GB of RAM, and fast UFS 2.1 internal storage, without a microSD card slot.

The only difference is the X50 comes with 128 GB of storage, while the X50 Pro has 256 GB.

Front Camera : Same 32 MP Camera

They both feature the same 32 MP punch hole camera in the front, with f/2.5 aperture.

Rear Cameras : An Extra 5X Telephoto Camera

They both come with a 48 MP gimbal camera, a 13 MP 2X telephoto camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 5 MP macro camera.

The X50 Pro, however, comes with an additional 8 MP periscope telephoto camera that offers 5X optical zoom.

Connectivity : The Same

Both models are 5G-capable, although that’s not much good since 5G connectivity is extremely rare, if available at all.

They both support WiFi-AC connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 5.1. They also use the bidirectional USB Type C charging and data port.

Battery + Charging : Slightly Bigger Battery

The X50 has a 4,200 mAh battery, while the Pro model has a slightly larger 4,315 mAh battery. They both support 33W fast charging.
