NVIDIA Reflex : How Can It Help In Rainbow Six Siege?

Like NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency (NULL) mode, Reflex prevents the CPU from processing faster than the GPU, eliminating extra frames from being queued up for rendering, which would normally increase render latency.

The difference really is this – by integrating Reflex into Rainbow Six Siege, the GeForce graphics driver can control the amount of back pressure the CPU receives from the render queue and other later stages of the pipeline.

Once Rainbow Six Siege has been patched, the Reflex Low Latency Mode adjusts the game engine work to complete “just in time” for rendering. This eliminates the GPU render queue, and reduces CPU back pressure.

NVIDIA Reflex In Rainbow Six Siege : How Much Improvement?

According to NVIDIA, the Reflex patch can reduce system latency for GeForce gamers by as much as 30% in the Vulkan version of Rainbow Six Siege.

This slow-motion video from NVIDIA demonstrates the low latency benefits of playing Rainbow Six Siege with NVIDIA Reflex enabled.

It also shows that while it works on regular 60 Hz displays, the effect is most pronounced with higher refresh rates.

Obviously, most people will not be gaming on 360 Hz displays, as this video demonstrates, but you should see significant reductions in input lag with 120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh rates.

 

How To Get NVIDIA Reflex On Rainbow Six Siege?

  1. Update Rainbow Six Siege with the latest patch.
  2. Install GeForce Game Ready Driver 465.89 (or newer), which also adds Resizable BAR support.
  3. Load Rainbow Six Siege on Vulkan.
  4. Go to Display Options.
  5. Turn on NVIDIA Reflex.

Ubisoft Gives Everyone ALL Rewards After Login Failure!

Ubisoft is giving EVERYONE all of the Ubisoft Forward rewards after suffering a complete failure of their login system during the livestream!

 

Ubisoft Forward Login Failure : What Happened?

So many people responded to Ubisoft’s offer of Watch Dogs 2 and other freebies that their login system promptly folded and called it quits when the livestream started.

Practically no one could log into Uplay, which meant they would not qualify for Watch Dogs 2 and other freebies even if they watched the entire livestream.

Hello everyone. We’re aware of an issue currently affecting logging in to Ubisoft Accounts and are working towards resolving this. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check this thread for future updates. Thanks.

Ubisoft then issued activation code keys for attendees to activate, but their key activation method failed as well, which meant no one could activate their free game or rewards.

Fortunately, the Ubisoft Forward livestream itself did not quit and die. That would have made the event a complete farce…

 

Ubisoft Gives Everyone ALL Rewards After Login Failure!

Ubisoft eventually gave up, and said that they would give the rewards to everyone, even those who could not log in.

Assassin’s Creed IV : Black Flag

Assassin’s Creed IV : Black Flag is an action-adventure game with a focus on stealth. It is the sixth game in the Assassin’s Creed series. In this installment, the setting is 18th century Caribbean, during the Golden Age of Piracy. The attempted establishment of a Republic of Pirates is a significant plot element.

Unlike previous games, gameplay elements focus more on ship-based exploration of the seamless open world map, while also retaining the series’ third-person land-based exploration, melee combat, and stealth system. Multiplayer also returns, albeit with only land-based modes and settings.

The game spans across the Caribbean with the three main cities of Havana, Nassau and Kingston along with numerous islands, sunken ships, and forts. Players have the option to harpoon large sea animals and hunt land animals.
