2024 School Holidays For Malaysia

The COVID-19 pandemic has thoroughly screwed up the school term and holidays. Instead of starting in January and ending in December, the new term now starts in March and every year will have two “academic years”.

It will now take until 2026 for the government to shift the school term back to January-December. This is quite confusing for many of us parents, so here is a quick summary of the school holidays for the year 2024.

2024 – 2025 Malaysia School Term + Holiday Calendar!

The Malaysia Ministry of Education just announced the 2024 – 2025 school term + holiday calendar! Here is what you need to know!

2024 – 2025 Malaysia School Term To Begin In March!

Back in August 2022, the former Malaysia Minister of Education, Dr. Radzi Jidin, announced that the 2023 school term would begin in March. The final 2023 – 2024 school calendar for Malaysia was only confirmed on 10 December 2022, with an additional delay of one week.

On 8 November 2023, the Malaysia Ministry of Education quietly released the 2024 – 2025 school term + holiday calendar (PDF download), which would begin in March 2024, and end in January 2024.

This shortened school year is in line with efforts to bring the school year back to the pre-pandemic schedule, as announced in May 2023.

  • The 2024/2025 academic calendar is being brought forward to start in February 2025.
  • The 2026 academic calendar will then begin in January 2026.

Did Henry Cavill Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle?!

Did Henry Cavill go to his nephew’s school to prove that Superman is really his uncle?!

Take a look at the viral story + video, and find out what the FACTS really are!

Did Henry Cavill Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle?

This cute story of Henry Cavill going to school to help his nephew, Thomas, prove that Superman is his uncle, keeps going viral.

Whether they are posted on Facebook, or in “viral websites”, the story generally goes along these lines, with a picture of Henry Cavill walking his nephew to school :

The day Uncle Cavill had to prove his nephew was not a liar.

Little Thomas, aged only 7, went to school dressed as Superman and the teacher asked why he was dressed like this.

“Because Superman is my uncle,” he replied.

The teacher then explained that Superman didn’t exist, but Thomas insisted, repeating numerous times that he existed, and that he was his uncle. And the kid ended up at the office…

An officer was asked to see him, to warn the child not to live in a fantasy world.

As the doubt remained, she called her brother-in-law, asking him to go to school to “save” her nephew, who was radiant for all his little friends to see that he was really Superman’s nephew!

The news was confirmed in the last few hours by Cavill himself, reiterating that he had saved his nephew from a bad punishment, given his reputation for “telling lies”.

Henry Cavill Did Not Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle!

As endearing as this story is, it was really fabricated from an old but true story from 2011. Many websites keep resurrecting this story to “go viral” and make money. Here are the facts…

Fact #1 : Henry Cavill Talked About Incident In 2013 + 2018

Henry Cavill actually recounted this incident back in June 2013 in an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. He later told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest this same story on their show in July 2018.

So all those viral and celebrity websites that claimed that Henry Cavill confirmed this “in the last few hours” lied to you. This is a really old story.

Recommended : Did These Famous People Mock God And Die?!

Fact #2 : Superman Uncle Incident Happened In 2011

This incident involving his nephew, Thomas, actually happened in 2011 when Henry first learned that he would be playing Superman in Zack Snyder’s film.

Henry Cavill only recounted it in 2013, during his interview with Jay Leno. This was what he said :

“My nephew Thomas was so super excited… he ran to school. “

“Now keep in mind Thomas has got a great reputation for telling stories and just making up stuff to the teacher.”

He says, “Well, because my uncle is Superman,” and she’s like, “Oh okay, and she pulls him aside. He got in trouble. [She was like] “this is sad.”

Fact #3 : Henry Cavill Did NOT Go To His Nephew’s School

Thomas’ mother – Henry’s sister-in-law – then explained to the teacher that the boy’s uncle “actually kind of is” Superman.

She did not ask Henry to “rescue” Thomas, so he did not actually go to his nephew’s school to prove that Superman is really his uncle.

Fact #4 : They Were NOT Walking To His Nephew’s School

The (fake news) creators misappropriated a photo to make it look as if Henry Cavill was walking his nephew to school to prove that his uncle really is Superman.

The truth is this was one of the photos taken of Henry, who was walking in London with his brother Niki and his family on 7 September 2013. They were NOT going to school to rescue Thomas, that’s for sure!

Recommended : Did Beyonce Flash Her Fans At Paris Concert?!

Fact #5 : Thomas Was Not 7 Years Old When It Happened

Henry Cavill did not mention how old Thomas was when this “Superman is my uncle” incident happened. But in a May 2021 interview with Viva Magazine, he said,

I have two nephews, aged 6 and 4. The older is known for telling wild tales in school and telling lies invented all the time. During one of the classes, the teacher asked pupils to talk about their family members, and what they do professionally. Then, the boy said: “My uncle is Superman.”

So we know that Thomas was 6 years old in 2013, and not 7 years old in 2021 as many viral websites and memes are claiming.

We also know that the incident happened sometime between 2011 and 2013. So Thomas was likely between 4 and 6 years old when it happened.

Little Thomas would be a strapping 16 year-old teenager in 2023. Even if Uncle Cavill offered to go to his school dressed as Superman, you can be sure he would definitely refuse the offer!

Did Olympic Swimmer Helen Smart Die From Vaccine SADS?!

Did former Olympic swimmer Helen Smart die suddenly in her sleep from COVID-19 vaccine SADS?!

Take a look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Helen Smart Died Suddenly From Vaccine SADS!

Right after news broke that Helen Smart died suddenly in her sleep, some people immediately claimed or suggested that the former Olympic swimmer died from COVID-19 vaccine Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS)!

The People’s Voice : Healthy Olympic Swimmer ‘Dies Suddenly’ Following Booster Shot

Died Suddenly : Olympic swimmer Helen Smart Dies Suddenly at age 43: ‘Can’t comprehend’

Her grieving husband, Craig Smart, took to the school’s Facebook page to pay tribute to his beloved wife.

Expose Them : Former Olympic swimmer Helen Smart (formerly Don-Duncan) died suddenly at the age of 42. She was the head teacher at Worsley Mesnes Primary School. In 2022 the school promoted covid vaccination for children 5 and up.

No Evidence Helen Smart Died Suddenly From Vaccine SADS!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to blame all sudden deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists…

Fact #1 : Helen Smart Died Suddenly In Her Sleep

Helen Smart (born Helen Don-Duncan on 9 June 1981) was an English competitive backstroke swimmer, who represented England in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, and Great Britain in the 2000 Olympics Games in Sydney.

She retired from competitive swimming after the 2000 Sydney Olympics – 23 years ago, and began a career in teaching. She eventually became the headteacher of Worsley Mesnes Community Primary School in Wigan.

On Friday, 11 August 2023, the former Olympian and her brother, Robert, drove both their families and their parents to Cumbria, to celebrate Robert’s 40th birthday.

Their extended family stayed at a large cottage at the banks of Lake Coniston, where Helen went paddle boarding that evening. Hours later, she went to bed at midnight, saying that she was tired.

At around 4 AM in the morning, Helen’s 4 year-old daughter, Heidi woke up and tried to get in bed with her. That was when Helen was found unresponsive. Her mother, Linda, detailed what happened to Mailonline:

We are just in so much shock. You jump from believing it to not believing it. She had been paddle boarding a few hours before and had never even been ill apart from her knees swelling from swimming.

We’re distraught. They don’t know what it is but they think it must have happened shortly after she went to bed. She just died in her sleep.

At midnight, she went to bed telling me: ‘I’ll go to bed now mum as I know I’ll be woken at 6am by Heidi. I just want to get some sleep in as I’ve had a long day.

Heidi had woken up in the night and tried to get into bed with her. She said to her daddy: ”Mummy won’t wake up’. He said: ”Oh she must be very tired Heidi – you go back to bed.”

He put the torch on and he said later that when he looked he could tell. Robert woke us up at 4am and said: ‘Mum, dad you need to keep up – we think Helen’s died. We just ran up and followed up and there she was in bed

I touched her foot and she was cold. I walked round and to the side of her and she looked asleep but you could tell she was gone. I just said: ”Why couldn’t it have been me.” I would have happily swapped places with her. That’s not the way round it should have been. I just thought, no no.

Fact #2 : Helen Smart’s Cause Of Death Is Still Unknown

It is still unknown HOW or WHY Helen Smart died in her sleep. Her family has not publicly mentioned her cause of death. Even when her husband, Craig Smart, released a statement, he did not mention that her cause of death:

She loved the school, staff, children and parents so much. She was so proud to reach her goal of being headteacher.

She used to say to me all the time she could never see herself at another school. She was Worsley Mesnes through and through!

I remember only last week she said her goal was to get the school to outstanding and that she had the right staff to achieve this.

I hope you all keep learning like champions. Please learn from this and live your best life, no regrets.

Take lots of photos, make memories and keep smiling just like Helen always did! Love to you all!

It is unknown if an autopsy has been conducted, but until and unless her family or the coroner reveals her official cause of death, anyone who claims that Helen Smart / Helen Don-Duncan died from this or that cause is likely lying to you.

Fact #3 : Helen Smart Was Well Before Her Death

Anti-vaccination activists are suggesting that Helen Smart “died suddenly” from vaccine SADS or some vaccine injury, because she was perfectly healthy and well before her sudden death.

As I pointed out earlier – Helen Smart was paddle boarding just hours before her death. That suggests that she was healthy, and not suffering from myocarditis / pericarditis that is often blamed on mRNA vaccines, or any “vaccine injury” for the matter.

Just because she was not ill earlier, does not mean she died from a COVID-19 vaccine side effect. There are many causes of sudden death during sleep – stroke, sudden cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, heart disease, etc.

Until and unless an autopsy is conducted, and her official cause of death is known, we simply do not know why Helen Smart died suddenly in her sleep, much less blame her death on COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #4 : No Evidence COVID-19 Vaccines Cause SADS

After billions of doses were administered worldwide over the last 2.5 years, there is still no evidence that COVID-19 vaccines cause Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS).

In fact, this is a rather ludicrous claim as SADS was first documented in 1977 – long before COVID-19 vaccines were invented!

SADS also occurs at a rate of 0.12 to 0.21 per 100,000 people every single year. In other words, approximately 9,000 to 16,000 people die from SADS every single year, before the COVID-19 vaccines were invented.

Despite what anti-vaccination activists may tell you – SADS is not a new vaccine-related syndrome.

SADS is usually caused by an abnormal heart rhythm that leads to a cardiac arrest. That’s why it can be prevented by implanting a cardioverter-defribillator.

Recommended : Young Athletes At High Risk Of Sudden Cardiac Arrest!

Fact #5 : Unknown If Helen Smart Was Vaccinated

Despite claims that Helen Smart was fully-vaccinated, there isn’t any actual evidence that she ever received the COVID-19 vaccine. Her COVID-19 vaccination status has never been made public.

Even though The People’s Voice (formerly known as NewsPunch) declared in its title that Helen Smart died suddenly “following booster shot”, there is no evidence she received a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose recently, or even at all.

It is possible that Helen Smart was unvaccinated against COVID-19. After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United Kingdom.

In fact, many people who were injured or died suddenly were actually unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Macaulay, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless her family reveals her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who tells you that Helen Smart was vaccinated or otherwise, is likely lying to you. None of us have any evidence of that.

Fact #6 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Helen Smart was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, she would have received her doses more than a year ago! She cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #7 : Claims Of COVID-19 Vaccine Injuries Often Proven False

Most claims of sudden deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false. Here is the latest dozen of other false sudden death claims!

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next death or tragedy…

Nelson Mandela vs. Professor Peters on Wisdom + Money!

Take a look at the viral confrontation between Nelson Mandela and Professor Peters, and find out what really happened!

Claim : Nelson Mandela Schooled Professor Peters On Wisdom + Money!

This viral confrontation between Nelson and Professor Peters have gone viral on WhatsApp, and social media platforms, for many years. It’s very long, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts…

When Nelson Mandela was studying law at the University, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely.

One day, Mr. Peters was having lunch at the dining room when Mandela came along with his tray & sat next to the professor.

Recommended : Black Friday Origin : Slaves Sale After Thanksgiving?!

Truth : Mandela + Professor Peters Confrontation Did NOT Happen

As hilarious as the viral confrontation between Nelson Mandela and Professor Peters is, it never happened, and here are there reasons why…

Fact #1 : Nelson Mandela Studied Law From 1943-1949

Nelson Mandela studied at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, from 1943 to 1949.

At that time, Mandela was the first African law student at Wits, which only recently opened its doors to students of all races.

Fact #2 : There Is No Record Of Professor Peters

There is no record of a Professor Peters teaching law at the University of Witwatersrand. Neither were there any Mr. Peters, or even a student named Peters in his class.

In the following 1949 photo of Nelson Mandela’s final year law class, we can see that none of them are named Peters:

Nelson Mandela at University of the Witswatersrand, 1944

Fact #3 : There Is No Record Of Such A Confrontation

Mandela’s authoritative autobiography – Long Walk to Freedom, did not mention any confrontation with a white professor called Mr. Peters. Neither do the many biographies written about Nelson Mandela.

Nelson Mandela only recounted his interactions with the Dean of Law – Professor H.R. Hahlo at University of Witwatersrand (Wits). However, those interactions were nowhere along the lines of the viral Mr. Peters confrontation.

In 1943, Nelson  at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, which only recently opened its doors to students of all races. Mandela was treated as “an alien”, rather than with the respect and consideration shown to other students.

He recounted how the Dean of Law, Professor H.R. Hahlo, said that the African mind was “not suited to the study and practice of law”.

His view was that law was a social science and that women and Africans were not disciplined enough to master its intricacies.
– Nelson Mandela in his autobiography

Nelson Mandela sat for the final LLB examinations on three occasions, from 1947 to 1949, but failed to qualify for the degree, because the stringent rules was applied particularly stringently. On his last try, Mandela was refused to write three supplementary examination papers on the grounds that the rules only allowed for two.

We also know that Mandela applied to Wits to write his final LLB examinations in late 1974 while he was imprisoned on Robben Island. His application form was intercepted by the Department of Prisons, which had earlier obstructed his attempt to complete a London University LLB.

Only in 1989, a year before his release, did Nelson Mandela qualify for his LLB through the correspondence university, the University of South Africa (UNISA) – 46 years after he started his legal studies at the University of Witwatersrand.

However, Nelson Mandela never mentioned a Professor Peters, Mr. Peters, or such a confrontation with any of his lecturers.

Recommended : Steve Jobs : What His Last Words Really Were!

Fact #4 : Gandhi Had Same Confrontation With Professor Peters!

Amazingly, Mahatma Gandhi who studied at the University College London (UCL) in October, 1888, had the exact, same viral confrontation with Professor Peters!

Needless to say – that is because this story was completely made up, and people are just swapping out the name of the “genius” with whoever they want.

It was Gandhi earlier, Mandela today, and probably tomorrow, it will be Albert Einstein confronting the same Professor Peters the exactly same way!

This is ultimately just an inspirational but FAKE STORY misappropriating a dead famous person’s name to make it go viral, while ensuring he is not around to dispute it.

It is good for a chuckle or two, but always with the understanding that this incident never happened, and is a complete lie.

Elton John Boycotts US Over Gay Rights?!

Did Elton John just boycott the US over gay rights, while forgetting about his own past?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Elton John Boycotts US Over Gay Rights!

People are sharing an OutKick article, claiming that Elton John has just boycotted the US over gay rights, while forgetting about his past! Here is an excerpt from that OutKick article:

Elton John Boycotts U.S. Over Gay Rights, Forgets Own Past

John’s road retirement may not last, but he’s certain he won’t play as much as a residency in the States moving forward. Why? He cites the new, “disgraceful” hate aimed at the LGBTQ+ community coursing through America’s veins.

Recommended : Did Elton John Ban US Over Anti-Grooming Laws?!

Truth : Elton John Did Not Boycott US Over Gay Rights!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created about the LGBTQIA community, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Elton John Does Not Want Another US Residency

Let me just start by pointing out that Elton John never said that he will no longer perform in the United States, after his farewell tour ends.

In his interview with Radio Times, what Elton John said was that he still plans to continue performing after his three-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour ends. He was interested in a residency – playing at a single venue, but not in the United States of America.

I said when I announced the farewell tour that maybe I would do a residency like Kate Bush did at Hammersmith [in 2014]. But not in America. I will not do it in America.

But that’s in the long term. I don’t want to think about the stage – I’ve been on it since I was 17.

In other words, Elton John does not intend to go back for a third Las Vegas residency. As his husband and manager, David Furnish explained:

Will Elton return as a live performer? I hope so! It’s in his blood…

I know for a fact he will not be touring in any capacity. What you’re going to see is the possibility of a special one-off or a small residency in one venue for a limited period of time.

I don’t think it will be Las Vegas. Elton feels he’s done the best he can in Las Vegas. He mounted two hugely successful residencies there.

When you’re an artist and something’s in your blood, you don’t want to shut the door completely.

Fact #2 : Elton John Dislikes Violence + Discrimination In America

Elton John has been outspoken about what he dislikes about America – violence and discriminatory laws. However, he did not say he was boycotting the US.

It is peculiar that the OutKick article should suggest that Elton John was “clearly conflating laws meant to protect children from life-altering surgery“, when Elton himself was explicit about what he disliked about that particular discriminatory Florida law.

It’s all going pear-shaped in America. There’s violence, [discriminatory] laws enacted in Florida, which are disgraceful. There’s a law now that, if you visit a doctor in Florida, they can refuse to treat you if you’re gay, which I find just unbelievable.

We seem to be going backwards. And that spreads. It’s like a virus that the LGBTQ+ movement is suffering.

It seems clear to me that Elton was very clear about what he disliked about that particular Florida law!

Recommended : Did Beyonce Flash Her Fans At Paris Concert?!

Fact #3 : HB 1557 Is Don’t Say Gay Bill

The OutKick article then refers to House Bill 1557 (HB 1557 : Parental Rights in Education), which regulates public schools in Florida.

This is the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which prohibits public schools from discussing or teaching students about sexual orientation or gender identity, from kindergarten up to grade three.

Presumably, Florida lawmakers believe that teaching children about gender identity and sexual orientation is how children are groomed into accepting sexual abuse. As Christina Pushaw – the press secretary of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, explained:

The bill that liberals inaccurately call “Don’t Say Gay” would be more accurately described as an Anti-Grooming Bill.

If you’re against the Anti-Grooming Bill, you are probably a groomer or at least you don’t denounce the grooming of 4-8 year old children.

Fact #4 : Elton John Referred To SB 1580, Not HB 1557

Elton John never mentioned any Florida law concerning children, education, or public schools in his interview with Radio Times.

He only referred to a completely different Florida law – SB 1580 : Protections of Medical Conscience Bill, which allows healthcare providers and insurers to deny patient care based on religious, moral or ethical beliefs.

This SB 1580 law has absolutely nothing to do with children or their education, which is covered by the completely different HB 1557 law (see above).

So why did OutKick bring up HB 1557 (the so-called Don’t Say Gay Bill), which Elton John never mentioned in his interview? Misunderstanding? Misdirection? Misinterpretation? Misinformation?

Recommended : Was Madonna Revived From Death By Narcan Injection?!

Fact #5 : Elton John Rarely Performs In Anti-LGBT Countries

While Elton John has been outspoken about gay rights, he has not stopped performing in countries with laws that can be used to harass or persecute gay people. But they have been extremely rare in number – United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Russia.

What OutKick may not realise is that those countries do not matter financially to Elton John, who performs in many more concerts in LGBT-friendly countries, and can easily forego those countries. It seems more likely that Elton John only performed in those countries because he was allowed to.

Think on that – those anti-LGBT countries allowed Elton John – an openly gay performer – to sing and perform for his fans. That is not evidence of his hypocrisy. That shows the power of his music.

Fact #6 : Concerts Are Different From Residencies

Finally, I should point out that performing at one-off concerts in countries with restrictive, anti-LGBT laws is quite different from actually staying in those countries.

It’s one thing to try and change minds by performing in those countries for a show or two, it’s quite another thing to live in such countries.

So it isn’t hypocrisy if Elton John has no qualms performing in countries with restrictive, anti-LGBT laws, but chooses not to live for months or years in the US because he dislikes its violence and laws.

It’s no different from how staunchly conservative anti-LGBT activists have no problem holidaying in countries with progressive pro-LGBT laws.

Selangor Civil Servants Get Extra Hari Raya Haji Holiday!

The Selangor state government just announced an extra Hari Raya Haji holiday for civil servants!

Selangor Civil Servants Get Extra Hari Raya Haji Holiday!

On Tuesday, 27 June 2023, the Selangor State Secretary Datuk Hari Karim announced an additional Hari Raya Haji holiday on Friday, June 30, in addition to the existing holiday on Thursday, June 29.

However, this additional Hari Raya Haji holiday will only apply to civil servants in the Selangor state’s departments, agencies, and local authorities.

Government subsidiaries (GLCs) and private companies are not subject to this directive. It will be up to each respective employer to decide whether to grant their employees an additional Hari Raya Haji holiday.

Statutory bodies, government subsidiaries and private parties, however, are not subject to this directive and are left to the discretion of their respective employers under the Employment Act 1955 (Act 265).

The additional day would grant those lucky enough to receive it a long 4-day weekend, in line with the 2023 school holidays.

This would likely result in heavy traffic on the highways as people take this opportunity to return to their hometowns to celebrate Hari Raya Haji with their families.

Did Elton John Ban US Over Anti-Grooming Laws?!

Did Elton John stop performing in the United States due to its anti-grooming laws?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Elton John Bans US Over Anti-Grooming Laws!

People are sharing an Epoch Times article, as evidence that Elton John singled out anti-grooming laws as the reason why he will no longer perform in the United States.

Dr. Anastasia Maria Loupis : Elton John Singles Out Anti-Grooming Laws as Why He’s Done Performing in the US. Lol. Bye.

Truth : Elton John Did Not Ban US Over Anti-Grooming Laws!

In other words, Elton John does not intend to go back for a third Las Vegas residency. As his husband and manager, David Furnish explained:

I know for a fact he will not be touring in any capacity. What you’re going to see is the possibility of a special one-off or a small residency in one venue for a limited period of time.

I don’t think it will be Las Vegas. Elton feels he’s done the best he can in Las Vegas. He mounted two hugely successful residencies there.

When you’re an artist and something’s in your blood, you don’t want to shut the door completely.

Fact #2 : Elton John Dislikes Violence + Discrimination In America

Elton John has been outspoken about what he dislikes about America – violence and discriminatory laws. However, he has never been against any anti-grooming law, as claimed.

It is odd that the Epoch Times article cut off part of Elton John’s quote, where the 76 year-old singer pointed out the discriminatory law in Florida where a doctor can refuse to treat a gay patient.

Here was what Elton John said in full, with the part that was cut out in the Epoch Times article in bold:

It’s all going pear-shaped in America. There’s violence, [discriminatory] laws enacted in Florida, which are disgraceful. There’s a law now that, if you visit a doctor in Florida, they can refuse to treat you if you’re gay, which I find just unbelievable.

We seem to be going backwards. And that spreads. It’s like a virus that the LGBTQ+ movement is suffering.

It’s amazing how the narrative changes when such a large part of what Elton John said was cut out. Perhaps that was precisely why it was cut out…

Fact #3 : HB 1557 Is The Anti-Grooming Bill

The Epoch Times article then talks about House Bill 1557 (HB 1557 : Parental Rights in Education), which regulates public schools in Florida.

This is the so-called “Anti-Grooming Bill“, which prohibits public schools from discussing or teaching students about sexual orientation or gender identity, from kindergarten up to grade three.

So why did The Epoch Times bring up HB 1557 (the so-called Anti-Grooming Bill), which Elton John never mentioned in his interview? Misunderstanding? Misdirection? Misinterpretation? Misinformation?

But if Elton John did not bring up HB 1557, then how can anyone claim that he singled out “anti-grooming laws” as the reason why he will no longer perform in the US?

Fact #5 : Elton John Wanted To Spend More Time With His Family

Even more oddly, The Epoch Times article ended by pointing out that Elton John does not want to do a residency in the United States because he wanted to spend more time with his husband and children in Britain!

This completely contradicts the same article’s earlier claim that Elton John is refusing to perform in the US because of its “anti-grooming laws”! It is as if the article was written by two different people, or an AI chatbot!

In any case, the last sentence in The Epoch Time article completely refutes the premise of its title and earlier claim:

According to representatives for John, his reason for that is the same one behind his decision to stop touring—that he wants to spend more time with his husband and children in Britain.

If you are into soccer, this is what is known as an “own goal”…

Fact #6 : This Is Just Epoch Times Misinformation

The Epoch Times, which is affiliated with the Falun Gong religious movement, is notorious for pushing out conspiracy theories and misinformation. Here are just some of their “work” that I fact checked:

Fact #7 : The Epoch Times Appears To Be Promoting It

Interestingly, the Urchin Tracking Module (UTM) parameters at the end of some of these links suggest that The Epoch Times may be promoting the article through certain partners. For example:

People are sharing a photo comparison the claims to prove that Mr Burns from The Simpsons was inspired by Jacob Rothschild, who has a net worth of 500 trillion and is the most powerful man in the world!

Truth : Mr Burns Was Not Inspired By Jacob Rothschild!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by conspiracy theorists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : That Is Not A Photo Of Jacob Rothschild

Let me start by simply pointing out that viral photo is not a photo of Jacob Rothschild.

The source for this photo appears to be a 2014 Imgur post, which claims that the man is a French teacher in an elementary school.

My wife has always claimed her elementary school French teacher looked exactly like Mr. Burns. She wasn’t wrong.

This appears to be corroborated by people in the comments, which further suggest that his name is Mr. Buchilli or Mr. Buchili, possibly from the York Street Public School in Ottawa, Canada.

UrbanGentleman : LOL Mr.Buchili [dont remember how to spell his name] – as funny as this is, he was actually a great french teacher.

nanchang : Do you remember what his full name was and what school he taught at? My aunt thinks that he was her French teacher too haha

Bitchmasterz : Oh snap just found my 8th grade French teacher Mr.Roy @ York St. School 1983.

nadur82 : Mr.buchilli !!!!!!!

Fact #2 : Mr Burns Was Not Based On Jacob Rothschild

The Mr Burns character, appearance and mannerisms were NOT based on Jacob Rothschild. They were based on several different people, and none of them are Jacob Rothschild.

Matt Groening based the Mr Burns character mostly on his high school teacher, Mr. Bailey, as well as oil tycoon,  John D. Rockefeller and his grandson, David Rockefeller.

But when it comes to appearance, animator David Silverman modelled Mr Burns after Fox founder, Barry Diller, with a body of “a praying mantis”.

In no way was Mr Burns based on Jacob Rothschild’s character, appearance or mannerism.

Recommended : Did Philippines Issue Arrest Warrant For Bill Gates?!

Fact #3 : Jacob Rothschild Does Not Have 500 Trillion Dollars

The 4th Baron Rothschild, Jacob Rothschild is a very wealthy man, but he is far from being the richest man in the world.

As of 2023, Jacob Rothschild’s net worth is estimated to be over $44 billion dollars. That is a lot of money, but far from the top billionaires which all have over 100 billion dollars.

Needless to say, neither Jacob Rothschild nor the world’s richest people, have a trillion dollars, never mind 500 trillion dollars!

Fact #4 : There Is Less Than 22 Trillion Dollars In The World

It is impossible for any person, or even country, to have 500 trillion dollars, because there is less than 22 trillion dollars in the world today!

The US Federal Reserve estimates that, as of January 2023, there is anywhere from $2.3 trillion to $21.27 trillion, depending on how you define “money”:

M0: Referred to as the monetary base, M0 includes all the money in circulation, including money banks hold in reserve. According to the Federal Reserve, there was about $2.3 trillion in circulation as of January 2023.

M1: It includes all the M0 money supply, adding the money held in travelers’ checks, demand deposits, other types of checkable deposits and negotiable orders of withdrawal. As of January 2023, the seasonally adjusted stock of M1 totaled $19.64 trillion.

M2: It includes all of the currency from the M1 money supply, and expands to include mutual funds, smaller time deposits, money market securities and other types of time deposits. M2 currencies are usually less liquid than M1, meaning you can’t convert M2 money into cash as easily. The total stock of M2 was $21.27 trillion in January.

Recommended : Did Interpol Order Arrest Of Bill Gates, Justin Trudeau, Klaus Schwab?!

Fact #5 : Napoleon Died 115 Years Before Jacob Rothschild Was Born

Jacob Rothschild was born Nathaniel Charles Jacob Rothschild on 29 April 1936 – almost 115 years before Napoleon died on 5 May 1821.

Unless Jacob Rothschild has a time machine, it is simply impossible for him to have financed any war since Napoleon’s death.

Fact #6 : Central Banks Are Generally Owned By The State

With the exception of the United States Federal Reserve, and the European Central Bank, all other central banks are owned by the state – the countries which created them.

The US Federal Reserve has 12 regional banks, with stock owned by member banks. However, it is governed by a board appointed by the President of the United States, and confirmed by the US Senate.

The European Central Bank, on the other hand, are owned by the central banks of all countries in the European Union, which are each owned by their respective countries.

Neither Jacob Rothschild, nor the Rothschild family, own any central bank.

Malaysia Schools To Start In January Again From 2026!

The Malaysia Education Minister just announced that schools will begin in January again, from 2026 onwards!

Malaysia Schools To Start In January Again From 2026!

On Tuesday, 23 May 2023, the Malaysia Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek, announced that schools will once again start their academic sessions in January, from 2026 onwards.

The Education Minister said that the Malaysia Education Ministry (KPM) has initiated efforts to restore the old academic calendar which begins in January, and ends in December.

  • The 2024/2025 academic calendar is being brought forward to start in February 2025.
  • The 2026 academic calendar will then begin in January 2026.

I’m pleased to announce that the start of the school session will return to January in 2026. The ministry hopes that, with the announcement, all financial and economic aspects can be planned earlier by all relevant parties starting now.

The planning of family holidays, festivals and vacation days for teachers, as we announced in 10 initiatives on Teacher’s Day, can be arranged based on the school session that will be gazetted.

Not Possible For Malaysia Schools To Start In January 2025!

The minister said that returning the school session to January next year is not possible as it would conflict with major examinations, school holidays, as well as floods.

The ministry must ensure that the teaching and academic session runs in a period of 26 to 32 weeks to ensure an optimum learning period in a year. Due to the changes (from the COVID-19 pandemic), the schooling session for 2023/2024 academic calendar started in March.

The changes to the academic calendar of the school session allows the school to plan and implement rehabilitation, strengthening and enrichment activities intensively to increase the students’ readiness to follow the next school year.

The minister had earlier pointed out in March that bringing forward the academic calendar to January 2025 was not possible as the ministry had to comply with various requirements under the Education Act 1996. She also said that it needs to avoid disrupting the examination schedule for STPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia), STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia), and STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia). There is also the need to account for local economic factors, and the year-end floods.

2023 / 2024 Malaysia School Term To Begin In March!

On 29 August 2022, the former Malaysia Minister of Education, Dr. Radzi Jidin, announced that the 2023 school term will begin in March as scheduled.

He said that the decision was made after taking into account factors like the possibility of Northeast monsoon floods in the East Coast states at the end of the year, and the long interval before students could resume their studies after finishing their Sijil Pelajaran (SPM) examination.

By maintaining the start of the 2023 school term in March, students will not have to wait too long to continue their studies, allowing for better learning momentum.

However, the 2023 / 2024 school calendar for Malaysia was only confirmed on 10 December 2022, with an additional delay of one week.

KPM declares extra school holiday for Hari Raya 2023!

The Malaysia Ministry of Education just declared an extra school holiday for Hari Raya 2023!

KPM : April 19 is Special School Holiday for Hari Raya!

On 11 April 2023, the Ministry of Education declared that April 19 would be a special school holiday, in addition to the mid-term holiday which starts on April 20!

This announcement was made by Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, in anticipation that Hari Raya Aidilfitri will fall on April 21.

We considered everyone’s views, and (this is) for the sake of everyone, especially teachers and education ministry staff, making plans to go back to their hometowns (for Aidilfitri),” she told reporters at an event today.

This year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri may fall on either April 21 or April 22, depending on the observation of the new moon of Syawal to occur after sunset on April 20.

However, the International Astronomy Centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) predicted that the first day of Aidilfitri will fall on April 21.

Stew Peters:
Terry Register of Thomasville, NC, #diedsuddenly

He died in his sleep. He was 49, and healthy. He leaves behind two young adopted sons he adopted with his sodomite life partner.

Yes, another tragic victim of the greatest medical scandal of our lifetime! So sad for the sons – hopefully they weren’t jabbed with the poison too.

Terry Register died suddenly in his sleep.

Hey @US_FDA, I’ve posted several hundred obituaries of healthy people dropping dead. They all have one thing in common 💉💉

No Evidence Terry Register Died From COVID-19 Vaccine SADS!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all sudden deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Terry Register Died In His Sleep

Terry Register (born Thomas Register Jr. on January 23, 1974) was a second-grade teacher at the Thomasville Primary School in North Carolina, when he passed away in his sleep on February 11, 2023.

T.J. is survived by his spouse, Manius “John” Binkley-Register; sons, Ethan Earl and Dylan Lee; parents, Terry, Sr. and Becky Register; sister, Melissa Russell and husband Buck; nephew, Brooks Russell and mother-in-law, Judy Binkley.

A celebration of his life was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Wintergreen Original Free Will Baptist Church in Cove City.

Fact #2 : Terry Register Had Health Problems

The cause of Terry Register’s sudden death was not revealed by his family or friends. This does not mean Terry Register died from the COVID-19 vaccine, or that his family / doctors / the authorities are trying to cover up the “real reason” for his sudden death.

People have a right to privacy, and that does not end when they die. Their families have the right to grieve in private, and most do not appreciate strangers asking them if their loved ones died from the vaccine, suicide, or drug overdose, or whatever you believe they died from.

But anyone who bothers to read up on Terry Register will soon realise that his death was not unexpected by his family and friends. For example, his spouse, John Binkley-Register, posted a tribute on February 14 which suggested that Terry had been sick and “in pain”:

Rest in peace my love. Your boys and I are missing you very much. Wish you were here with us. We know it was your time to go home, and you are not in pain no more and walking the streets of gold and having a great time with love ones gone before you. This is not a goodbye but see you later… we love you

Terry Register’s friends also posted comments that suggested that they too knew that he was sick and perhaps dying:

So sorry for your loss. TJ was a school/neighborhood friend. Still in shock but you are right no more pain. Prayers to you, the kids, Melissa and his parents

Oh John there is truly no words to express how sorry I am for you and the boys. Just know I will be praying for you and your son’s during this difficult time for your family. And atleast you have comfort in knowing Terry is no longer suffering and received a healthy new body in heaven. Sending you lots of love, hugs and prayers.

Finally, the Thomasville City Schools said that, while they are unable to release information about the cause of death out of respect for the families of the deceased, Terry Register had “health concerns that contributed to [his] passing“.

Fact #3 : Terry Register Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Terry Register was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 in April 2021, and received his booster dose on December 30, 2021.

His social media posts did not indicate that he suffered any ill effects from his two primary doses, or his booster dose.

Fact #4 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Just because Terry Register was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, it does not mean he died from the COVID-19 vaccine, as he would have received his doses more than 13 months ago!

He cannot possibly be suffering from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days.

Fact #5 : Claims Of Teachers / Students Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

So far, claims of teacher or student deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance. Here is the latest dozen cases I fact checked recently.

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next teacher or student tragedy…

Is This President Macron Dancing With His Wife 30 Years Ago?!

Take a look at the viral video of President Macron with his dancing teacher who became his wife, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : This Was President Macron With His Dancing Teacher / Wife 30 Years Ago!

People are sharing this video which claims to show a young Emmanuel Macron dancing with his teacher, who would end up becoming his current wife, Brigette Macron.

This is a 30 year old Television clip. This video is interesting not only because of the dance sequence, but because, this young boy is the current president of France, & the Lady dancer, his teacher …. is his current wife …Interesting!!! Isn’t it? 🤷‍🤷‍♀ 🤷‍🤷‍♀ 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Truth : That Was Not President Macron With His Dancing Teacher / Wife!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Brigitte Did Not Teach Macron Dancing

Brigitte Auzière (born Brigitte Marie-Claude Trogneux on 13 April 1953) first met Emmanuel Macron at the La Providence High School in 1998, when she was a 40 year-old teacher, and he was a 15 year-old student and a classmate of her daughter, Laurence.

She was not his dancing teacher, but taught him literature and was in charge of the theatre class that he attended. Brigitte divorced her husband, André-Louis Auzière, in January 2006 and married Macron in October 2007.

Fact #2 : Brigitte + Emmanuel Macron Never Participated In Dance Contests

As far as I can tell – Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron never participated in any dancing contest.

So it would be quite impossible for them to appear in a dance competition 30 years ago.

Fact #3 : Viral Video Was Recorded In 2016

The viral video, which people claimed was Emmanuel Macron dancing with his teacher Brigitte, was not recorded 30 years ago.

It was posted on the SYTYCD (So You Think You Can Dance) YouTube channel on 6 September 2017, but featured on another YouTube channel on 13 July 2016.

Fact #4 : Music Was From 2014

You can also date the video using the music. It was certainly not 30 years old, but a much more recent – Toca Toca (Radio Edit) by Fly Project was published on YouTube on 14 May 2014.

Fact #5 : Viral Video Is Of Jenna Johnson + Jake Monreal

The viral video does not show Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron dancing in a competition.

The two dancers are Jenna Johnson and Jake Monreal, who were competing in “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation” on July 11, 2016.

The YouTube video had the title “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation – Jenna and Jake’s Ballroom Performance“.

In that video, Jenna and Jake performed a Cha Cha routine which was choreographed by Jean Marc Genereux, to “Toca Toca (Radio Edit)“.

Fact #6 : Jenna Johnson Is A Professional Dancer

Jenna Johnson (born April 12, 1994) is an American professional dance and choreographer, who was one of the mentors in that dance competition.

She competed with Jake Monreal in 2016, and made it to the Top 8 before elimination on August 1, 2016. She returned to the show in Season 14 to mentor Kiki Nyemchek, and made it to Top 4.

Fact #7 : Jake Monreal Is A Professional Dancer

Jake Monreal (born September 24, 2003) is now a 19 year-old professional dancer, who began dancing at the age of 10. At that time the video was recorded, he was just 12 years old.

Jake would become a professional dancer for Dancing with the Stars Junior in 2018.

Fact #8 : Just Another Example Of Fake News About Politicians

Will Your Phone Get Hacked While You Vote In GE15?!

Will your phone get hacked while you are voting in GE15?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Your Phone Will Get Hacked While You Vote In GE15!

This warning has gone viral on WhatsApp and social media, claiming that your phone will get hacked while you are voting in GE15!

The post is long, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

For first time voters, it might be tempting to bring your phone along with you to document and record your experience voting for the first time.

However, the Election Commission (EC) has announced that the use of mobile phones inside polling stations will not be allowed.

As such, you may use your phone to kill time while standing in line, but you’d have to surrender your phone once you collect your ballot paper.

Read more : New SPR Rules On Bringing + Using Phone On GE15!

Truth : Your Phone Won’t Get Hacked While You Vote In GE15!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Phones Are Left On KTM Table In Individual Boxes

First, let us establish some basic facts about how phones are “surrendered” before voting in GE15:

  1. Each polling station (Saluran) will have two voting booths, allowing two voters to mark their ballots at the same time.
  2. The KTM (Ketua Tempat Mengundi – Head of Polling Station) will have two cardboard boxes – one for each phone.
  3. On the way to the voting booth, each voter will place his/her phone into one of the two cardboard boxes on the KTM’s table.
  4. After casting the ballots, the voter will retrieve his/her phone from the cardboard box.

The polling clerks and the head of the polling station (KTM) will NOT touch any phone. Voters must place and retrieve their phones by themselves.

Fact #2 : There Are Many Witnesses In Each Polling Station

Each polling station has at least one police officer, three polling clerks and a KTM (Head of the Polling Station), as well as two or more observers.

That’s seven or more people arranged along three sides of the room, which means the phones placed on the KTM’s table are visible to all of them. Any attempt by anyone but the voters to handle the phones would be instantly noticed.

Read more : New SPR Rules On Bringing + Using Phone On GE15!

Fact #3 : KTM Is Usually A Teacher Working In That School

In Malaysian elections, schools are generally used as voting centres, with classrooms converted into polling stations.

Usually, the Malaysia Election Commission (SPR) appoints teachers of the same school as the KTM – head of each polling station.

While this does not mean some of these teachers are not secretly awesome hackers in their spare time, it means that your phones are generally being watched by teachers.

If you can trust school teachers with your kids, you can certainly trust them to WATCH OVER your precious phone.

Fact #4 : Marking Your Ballots Take Less Than A Minute

The only time your phone is out of your view is when you are marking your ballots in the voting booth.

How long do you reckon it takes to mark X on one or two ballots, and fold them? Maybe 10 seconds? 20 seconds if you are slow. No matter what – your mobile phone will only be out of sight for less than a minute.

Do you actually believe any hacker would have the time to hook up your phone to any cable, never mind hack it, in less than one minute?

Fact #5 : Juice Jacking Requires Cable To Be Plugged Into Phone

What this “ethical hacker” is referring to is called juice jacking. Juice jacking requires a cable to be plugged into your phone. It cannot happen wirelessly, because it relies on USB vulnerabilities.

As noted in Fact #1, you will place your phone into a large cardboard box. You will be able to see that there are no cables present.

While you are marking your vote, the box containing your phone will be fully visible to at least six other people in the room, if you discount the “nefarious KTM who is secretly an evil hacker”.

Even a “nefarious KTM who is secretly an evil hacker” will have trouble taking your phone out of the box, without any of the other people in the room noticing, never mind actually plugging in a cable.

That’s why the real risk of juice jacking isn’t that 20-30 seconds you spend voting in GE15, but when you plug your phone into a free USB power socket.

If you are paranoid, just cover your phone’s USB or Lightning port with tape, before you place it in the designated box.

Fact #6 : Juice Jacking Vulnerabilities Have Been Mitigated

As ethical hackers reveal security risks like juice jacking, Google and Apple have taken measures to mitigate the risks.

Both Android and iOS, for example, no longer allow the phone to be mounted as a drive when plugged in over USB. You will get a prompt asking you to confirm the step, which is not possible for the hacker to do without first unlocking the phone.

There have also been many Android and iOS security updates that patch vulnerabilities that could potentially lead to juice jacking attacks. That’s why it’s so important to keep your phone operating system updated.

Please WATCH OUT about such FAKE NEWS on WhatsApp and social media.

Remember – democracy does not guarantee us a good government. Democracy only guarantees us the right to vote out a bad government!

Happy voting on 19 November 2022!

5-Day Break For Students To Vote In GE15!

Form 6 students, college students, and tertiary education students are granted a 5-day break to vote in the GE15 general election!

KPT : All Tertiary Education Students Get 5-Day Break For GE15!

On 23 October 2022, Malaysia Higher Education Director-General Dr. Husaini Omar confirmed that all students at public and private higher education institutes, including polytechnic and community colleges, will be given a 5-day break to vote in the GE15 general election.

The 5-day break, which will last November 17 to 21, will give students sufficient time to travel to their voting districts to cast their votes, and return to campus.

While the announcement only mentioned students, teachers will also benefit from the 5-day break, giving them more time to travel to their own voting districts.

Read more : Postal Voting Guide For Overseas Malaysians!

KPM : Form 6 + College Students Get 5-Day Break For GE15!

Separately, the Malaysia Ministry of Education (KPM) announced on 28 October 2022, that Force 6 students, as well as students at the Teachers Education Institute, Matriculation College, and Vocational College, will be given a 5-day break as well.

The 5-day break will also last from November 17 to 21, which should give the students enough time to travel to their voting districts to vote on November 19, and return to campus.

Unfortunately, other students in primary and secondary classes will not get a similar break, so their parents and teachers will have to rush back to their voting district to vote on Saturday, November 19 before returning home by the next day.

Mandatory Penis Inspection In School Was Just A Prank!

The viral letter about mandatory penis inspection in a Bandar Kinrara school was a student’s prank!

Here is what you need to know…

Mandatory Penis Inspection In School? What’s Going On?!

A letter that purportedly showed the Malaysia Ministry of Education calling for mandatory penis inspection at SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara went viral on social media.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS OF
SMK SEKSYEN 4 BANDAR KINRARA:
MANDATORY PENIS INSPECTION

To all male students of SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara:

The Ministry of Education requires us to conduct mandatory penis inspections on all male students at SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara in accordance with Health Code 6,9. This year’s penis inspection will take place on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 during Assembly. All circumcised males should report to the Bilik Disiplin (280), and all uncircumcised males should report to the Bilik Media (273). There will be on ONE makeup date on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 at 8:00 AM. If you are unable lo attend either inspection dale, a district official can arrange to meet with you on your own time (call 03-8075 xxxx to arrange an appointment

NOTE: All male students MUST attend an inspection, or they WALL NOT Receive their 2020 SPM SLIPI

A traditional UK “Pass-or-Fail” method will be used in the inspection. Please ensure that all penises are clean and orderly, as there will be no special circumstances. Note that SPM SLIP 2020 will not be issued by the Ministry of Education to any individual with an erection.

If you have any questions about the inspection, contact Puan Sri Lan Lan, Ministry of Education appointment Genital Commission official.

Mandatory Penis Inspection In School Was Just A Prank!

SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara administrative senior assistant Muhammad Asri Heman clarified that the viral letter on penis inspection was merely a “prank” by one of their students.

He said that neither the school or the education ministry had conduction any penis inspection, and that the student was suspended and “action had been taken against him“.

Asri said that the student posted the letter on his social media page, after there were initial concerns by Form 5 students that someone may be checking their private parts in the toilets.

Despite the Malaysia Ministry of Education (KPM) logo, it seems obvious that this was meant to be satire, with over-the-top details, including an admonishment about erections.

All things considered – it was a pretty funny piece. This kid has a future in writing. I just hope he doesn’t misuse it to create fake news in the future.

Malaysia Abolishes PT3 Exams For Form 3 Students!

The Malaysia Ministry of Education just abolished the PT3 examinations for Form 3 students!

Here is what you need to know…

Malaysia Abolishes PT3 Exams For Form 3 Students!

On 2 June 2022, the Malaysia Minister of Education Dr. Radzi Jidin announced that the PT3 (Form Three Assessment) examinations will be abolished for good.

The PT3 examinations were introduced in 2014 to replace the Lower Secondary Evaluation (PMR) exams, which were implemented between 1993 and 2013.

The PT3 exams had already been cancelled for two years – 2020 and 2021 – during the COVID-19 pandemic. With this decision, the PT3 exams will no longer be conducted from this year onwards.

The PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) was introduced in 1993, and PT3 in 2014. The PT3 exams were not carried out in 2020 and last year.

Many wondered what will happen with PT3 exams this year. We have decided to abolish it starting this year.

What Will Form 3 Students Undergo Without PT3 Exams?

Instead of a standardised test for Form 3 students, the Ministry of Education (MoE) will implement a summative assessment, and work on improving school- and class-based assessments.

The ministry will work on strengthening other forms of assessment.

These checkups are not meant to be high-stake examinations as we want to build our students without pressuring them.

These assessments will be used to help determine the best streams for these students in Form 4, by revealing their strengths and weaknesses.

Compared to PT3, which was held when students are already set to move on to the next academic stage, our new approach will allow us to immediately identify problems faced by students and how they can be guided.

The Ministry of Education will provide teachers with a question bank with assessment questions for all subjects for Form 1, 2 and 3 students, as well as basic subjects of Bahasa Malaysia, English, mathematics, science and history for Form 4, 5 and 6 students.

Schools will be allowed to set their own time frames for assessments, based on a time frame provided by the ministry.

Please note that while the PT3 examinations have been abolished, the Specific Schools Admission Assessment will continue to be implemented for students who are interested in further their education at boarding schools.

No More Rotation For Primary School Students From April 17!

The Malaysia Minister of Education just announced that ALL primary school students will be able to attend school without rotation starting April 17!

Here is what you need to know…

Earlier : Some Primary School Students Undergo Rotation

When the new 2022-2023 school term began in Malaysia, roughly half of primary school students were only allowed to attend school on a rotation basis.

Standard 1, Standard 2 and Standard 6 students in primary schools with enrolment of more than 600 students, were allowed to attend school, without rotation.

But Standard 3, Standard 4 and Standard 5 students in those larger primary schools were only allowed to attend classes in rotation – one week on, one week off.

No More Rotation For Primary School Students From April 17!

On 8 April 2022, the Malaysia Minister of Education Dr. Radzi Jidin announced that all primary school students will be allowed to attend school without rotation :

  • Group A states (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu) : April 17 onwards
  • Group B states (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya) : April 18 onwards

Pupils who were attending school on a rotational basis now can return (in full).

The most important thing is everyone’s adherence to the standard operating procedures. Even though we are transitioning to the endemic phase, it is still important to follow the SOPs.

I ask parents to always remind their children that they should make sure they adhere to the SOPs.

Gandhi vs. Professor Peters On Wisdom + Money!

Take a look at the viral confrontation between Mahatma Gandhi and Professor Peters, and find out what really happened!

Viral Confrontation Between Gandhi And Professor Peters

This viral confrontation between Mahatma Gandhi and Professor Peters has gone viral on WhatsApp, and social media platforms, for many years.

It’s very long, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts…

Funny side of Mahatma Gandhi . 😃

When Mahatma Gandhi was studying law at the University College, London, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely.

One day, Mr. Peters was having lunch at the dining room when Gandhi came along with his tray & sat next to the professor.

Truth : Gandhi And Professor Peters Confrontation Did NOT Happen

As hilarious as the viral confrontation between Mahatma Gandhi and Professor Peters is, it never happened, and here are there reasons why…

Fact #1 : There Is No Record Of Such A Confrontation

Gandhi’s authoritative autobiography – The Story Of My Experiments With Truth, did not mention ANY confrontation with ANY of his lecturers.

He certainly did not mention any professor called Mr. Peters in his autobiography. Neither do the many biographies written about Gandhi.

If Gandhi himself did not mention this confrontation, and there is ZERO RECORD of such a confrontation, how did the writer know of this amazing story? Was he/she there over 130 years ago when it allegedly happened?

Fact #2 : There Is No Record Of Professor Peters

Mahatma Gandhi arrived in England to study at the University College London (UCL) in late October, 1888.

There is no record of a Professor Peters teaching law at the University College of London.

Swapnajit Mitra contacted UCL about this urban legend, and found out that there is no record of a Professor Peters back then.

Fact #3 : Those Are Pictures Of Gandhi With Lord Mountbatten

This viral story is sometimes shared with pictures of Gandhi sitting down with a white man, suggesting that he made up with Professor Peters.

The man in those pictures is actually Lord Louis Mountbatten – the last Viceroy of India.

They were taken in 1947, during their discussions about India’s transition from British rule to independence.

Fact #4 : Gandhi Likely Did Not Study Long At UCL

Paul Ayris, CEO of UCL Press and Chief Library Officer of UCL History, helped Swapnajit Mitra look into Gandhi’s history at UCL and found “very little evidence” remained :

  • His student record card: This records his name as “Mahatma Karamchand GANDHI,” later amended to “Mohandas.” Since Rabindranath Tagore called Gandhi “Mahatma” only in 1915, evidently, this card was not written at the time Gandhi was acutally in London. To seal this argument, two addresses are given on the card, for 1927 and 1939, well after Gandhi left London.
  • Two entries in the Professors’ Fees Book for 1888-1889: Here Gandhi is listed under Henry Morley for classes in English.
  • An entry in the calendar for 1889-90 (which lists the students for the previous year): This gives his name as “Gaudhi.”

Andrew Lewis pointed out in the Summer 2002 UCL Laws Newsletter that Gandhi’s name does not appear in any surviving class registers, and that the study of law at the university in the 1880s did little to advance a professional legal career in England.

Lewis concluded that Gandhi could well have arrived with the intention of studying for his degree at UCL, but left to study for the Bar at Gray’s Inn, (a place where prospective law practitioners used to go at that time) presumably once he realised this was where he needed to be in order to qualify.

Fact #5 : Gandhi Was Shy And Tongue-Tied

Despite being a great orator later in his life, Gandhi was shy and tongue-tied while studying in England.

In his autobiography, Gandhi stated that he “always felt tongue-tied” and “the presence of half a dozen of more people would strike [him] dumb.

He also stated that he retained “this shyness” throughout his entire stay in England.

A lecturer, Dr. Oldfield, once asked him, “You talk to me quite all right, but why is it that you never open your lips at a committee meeting?” even though he was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vegetarian Society.

Once, Gandhi was asked to speak on the merits of vegetarianism, and despite preparing a speech in writing, he could not even read it. In the end, someone else had to read the speech he wrote.

I had not the courage to speak and I therefore decided to set down my thoughts in writing. I went to the meeting with the document in my pocket.

So far as I recollect, I did not find myself equal to reading it, and the President had it read by someone else.

It is incredulous that someone as shy as Gandhi was at that time, would be capable of such brilliant repartee and sarcasm.

This is ultimately just an inspirational but FAKE STORY misappropriating a dead famous person’s name to make it go viral, while ensuring he is not around to dispute it.

It is good for a chuckle or two, but always with the understanding that this incident never happened, and is a complete lie.

Please help us FIGHT FAKE NEWS, by sharing this fact check out, so other people won’t be fooled by it!
