Truth : China Did Not Invent Artificial Woman Called HOORI!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated on WhatsApp and social media, and here are the reasons why!

Fact #1 : China Did Not Invent Any Artificial Woman

Let me just clearly state this – no Chinese company has invented an artificial woman to handle your household affairs for 72 hours on a single battery charge.

Neither did they invented an android with the capability to speak any language with 99% accuracy.

Fact #2 : It Was Taken From A Video Game

The video was actually edited from a promotional short video called “Detroit: Become Human – Shorts: Chloe“.

This short video was created to promote a 2018 video game called Detroit: Become Human by Quantic Dream, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

It was edited to remove the introduction of the video which shows the Playstation logo, the Quantic Dream logo, and this title screen, which clearly explains that this video is part of a video game.

It was also edited to remove the end screen, which shows that the animated sequence was “shot in game engine”.

In other words – the developers rendered the scene using the game’s own graphics engine. This is a type of animated filmmaking called machinima.

Fact #3 : The Original Video Was Published In May 2018

To promote the launch of the game on Playstation 4, Quantic and Sony released the Chloe animated short video on May 23, 2018.

That short video shows a 2024 interview by KNC of Chloe – an RT600 android and the first to pass the Turing test.

John : For starters, what should I call you?

Chloe : I’m Chloe. And you, what’s your name?

John : Oh, John. My name is John.

Chloe : Delighted to meet you, John.

John : Could you tell us a little about yourself and what you can do, Chloe?

Chloe : Of course. I’m the first personal assistant built by CyberLife. I take care of most everyday tasks like cooking, housework, or managing your appointments for example.

John : And I understand you’re the first android to have passed the Turing test. Could you tell us a little more about that?

Chloe : I really didn’t do much, you know. I just spoke with a few humans to see if they could tell the difference between me and a real person. It was a really interesting experience.

John : But this is the first time in history that man has created a machine more intelligent than himself. I gather your brain can perform several billion, billion operations per second. Is that right?

Chloe : Absolutely. But I only exist thanks to the intelligence of the humans who designed me. And, you know, they have something I could never have.

John : Really? And what’s that?

Chloe : A soul.

Fact #4 : CyberLife Only Exists In The Game

The company that invented the RT600 android called Chloe is called CyberLife.

This is not a real company. It only exists as an antagonistic faction in the game, Detroit: Become Human.

In that game, CyberLife was founded by Elijah Kamski (also a fictional character), and it produces all kinds of android in Detroit.
