Truth : Cristiano Ronaldo Did Not Die Suddenly In Tragic Car Accident!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by people to generate income from page / video views and advertising, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Cristiano Ronaldo Is Still Alive + Well!

Cristiano Ronaldo (born Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro on 5 February 1985) is still very much alive and well, as of Monday, 5 February 2024!

Of course, you will want “proof of life”, don’t you? Ronaldo posted a photo of himself after scoring his 750th goal in club football on Wednesday, 25 February 2024, on Instagram.

That post came at the Al Nassr game in the Saudi Pro League against Al Shabab. After Al Nassr was given a penalty kick, Cristiano Ronaldo kicked the ball into the back of the net. His total goal count is now 877.

Fact #2 : No Legitimate Media Outlet Reported His Death

These social media posts, as well as YouTube and Facebook videos have been circulating for months now, but people don’t seem to notice that no legitimate media has reported on Cristiano Ronald’s death!

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s best footballers and a mega celebrity. His death would have been covered extensively by the media across the globe!

Yet, no legitimate media outlet has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo died recently from any cause. Why should you believe no-name websites, or random YouTube / Facebook / TikTok videos?

Fact #3 : Viral Car Accident Photo Was From 2009

The viral photo of a badly damaged car is genuine, and shows a car in which Cristiano Ronaldo drove and crashed. However, that happened many years ago, when the Portuguese footballer was just 23 years old!

At 10:20 am on 8 January 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo crashed his Ferrari sports car into a roadside barrier in a tunnel on the A538 Wilmslow Road near the Manchester airport, on the way to train with the Manchester United team.

The car was badly damaged, with one of the front wheels sheared off and thrown over a hundred metres away. However, Cristiano Ronaldo was not injured, and got out of his car by himself, and later went on to train that morning.

Recommended : Did Simon Cowell Just Die In Tragic Car Crash?!

Fact #4 : They Used Photos From Other Funerals!

Because Cristiano Ronaldo never died in a car crash or hospital, these fake news creator have to resort to using photos from other funerals.

In this example, the fake news creator merely added an inset photo of Cristiano Ronaldo with an arrow, a crying emoji and a LIVE chyron, to a photo of the funeral procession of IRA veteran Bobby Storey, which occurred on 30 June 2020.

If you take a closer look, you will see a bagpiper and Argos – a retailer operating in the United Kingdom and Ireland. You may also notice that everyone’s white! That’s because the photo was taken in Belfast, not Portugal!

Cristiano Ronaldo is Portuguese. Why on Earth would his funeral be held in Ireland?! And why would his family want a bagpiper at his funeral?!

Fact #5 : Cristiano Ronaldo Death Hoax Is Driven By Fake Fact Check Too

This Cristiano Ronaldo death hoax is, ironically, just another fake fact check article by MediaMass Project, which keeps “updating” the dates in their fake fact check article:

News of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the February 2024 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the 39-year-old footballer is alive and well.

Their claim of a viral R.I.P. Cristiano Ronaldo Facebook page is false. There is no such Facebook page. It is their standard fake fact check spiel for fake celebrity deaths.

The statement from Cristiano Ronaldo’s unnamed rep confirming that he is not dead is exactly the same as statements from other reps of celebrities MediaMass claimed were victims of death hoaxes, like like Angelina Jolie, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barry Gibb, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Celine Dion, Clint Eastwood, Dolly Parton, Harrison Ford, Justine Bieber, Lionel Messi, Lucy LiuMadonna, Melanie Laurent, Mike Tyson, Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Pattinson, Simon Cowell, Sylvester Stallone, Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, and Tom Hanks.

Hidden in the description page for the MediaMass Project is a disclaimer that they are a “satire” website. That’s the usual “cover” for websites peddling fake news.

Regardless of their reasons, anything posted by MediaMass.net must be considered as fake news, until proven otherwise.

Did 17th Agong Bash Arabisation Of Malay Culture On Day 1?!

Did Sultan Ibrahim bash the Arabisation of Malay culture on his first day as the 17th Agong of Malaysia?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : 17th Agong Bashed Arabisation Of Malay Culture On Day 1!

People are sharing this message on WhatsApp, claiming that the Sultan Ibrahim bashed the Arabisation of Malay culture on his first day as the 17th Agong of Malaysia!

The First Day of work DYMM YDP Agong gave a hard hitting no-holds barred royal “bashing” of the Arabidization of Malay culture. I suppose the right wing green wave politicians were squirming on their seats. Daulat Tuanku.

The message was shared with a link to an article (removed for reasons I will explain below) by The Coverage, with the title “Stop Trying To Be Like Arabs, Johor Ruler Tells Malays“.

Recommended : PADU Central Database Hub : What You Need To Know!

Truth : 17th Agong Did Not Bash Arabisation Of Malay Culture On Day 1!

This appears to be yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Sultan Ibrahim Made Those Comments In 2016

First, let me point out that Sultan Ibrahim of Johor did call on Malays not to discard their unique culture, in favour of the Arab culture. However, he made those comments in March 2016 – almost 8 years ago!

If there are some of you who wish to be an Arab and practise Arab culture, and do not wish to follow our Malay customs and traditions, that is up to you. I also welcome you to live in Saudi Arabia.

That is your right but I believe there are Malays who are proud of the Malay culture. At least I am real and not a hypocrite and the people of Johor know who their ruler is.

Sultan Ibrahim also said that he preferred to use terms like Hari Raya, instead of Eid al-Fitr, as well as buka puasa, instead of iftar.

I have been using these Malay terms since I was a child and speaking to my late father for the past 50 years. I have no intention of replacing these terms with Arabic.

To be clear – Sultan Ibrahim did not make those comments on his first day as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. He made them almost 8 years earlier.

Recommended : How To Renew Malaysian Passport Online : 2024 Guide!

Fact #2 : The Coverage Article Was Originally From NST

It is unknown why anyone would actually share the article by The Coverage, since it was not written by them. It was originally written and posted by The Star on 24 March 2016, and syndicated by New Straits Times.

Even worse – The Coverage appeared to have posted it on 31 January 2018 – almost 2 years after it was originally posted by The Star and NST.

Instead of supporting websites that copy and paste other people’s work (and old news at that!), why not support journalism by sharing the real source of these articles?

Fact #3 : The Coverage Refreshed Their Article Today

It is unknown why people would start sharing the article from The Coverage, when it was not written by them, and was posted 5 years ago on 31 January 2018.

But interestingly, it looks like The Coverage updated their article today, likely replacing the original photo with one posted on the Sultan’s Facebook page on 22 November 2023.

Why would The Coverage update this 5 year-old article on Sultan Ibrahim’s first day as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia?

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card Required For Foreign Visitors!

Foreign visitors are now required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to arrival in Malaysia! Here is what you need to know…

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Requirement

From 1 December 2023 onwards, the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) requires foreign visitors to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia.

The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) replaces the physical white arrival card that foreign visitors usually complete before or on arrival in Malaysia.

This new rule applies to all foreign visitors, except:

  • people transiting / transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance,
  • Malaysian Permanent Resident, and
  • Malaysian Automated Clearance System (MACS) holders

As an added benefit, foreign visitors from 10 countries can register their fingerprint at the immigration country, and will thereafter be able to use the Autogate (Egate) at Malaysian airports and other ports of entry to quickly get through immigration!

  • Australia
  • Brunei
  • Germany
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • New Zealand
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • United States
  • United Kingdom

But please note that the MDAC is not a visa. Neither is it an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) that some countries use to pre-register visitors for multiple entries.

Recommended : 2024 Public + School Holidays For Malaysia!

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Steps

For The First Time

All foreign visitors (except those who were explicitly exempted above) will need to register for the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) for the first time.

  1. Enrol for the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) at this official link.
  2. Complete and submit the MDAC within three days (3) prior to your arrival in Malaysia.
You will be required to fill in these information:
    a) Full name
    b) Passport number
    c) Nationality
    d) Sex
    e) Date of Birth
    f) Date of Passport Expiry
    g) Email address
    h) Mobile Number
    i) Date of Arrival : Must be within 3 days (including date of submission)
    j) Date of Departure
    k) Mode of Travel : Air / Land / Sea
    l) Last Port of Embarkation
  3. On arrival in Malaysia, you will need to enroll and verify your passport manually at the Malaysian Immigration Department counter.
  4. After that manual enrolment, you will be allowed to use the Egate autogate system when you depart Malaysia.

On Subsequent Visits

On subsequent visits, foreign visitors will need to:

  1. Complete and submit the MDAC within three days (3) prior to your arrival in Malaysia.
  2. Use the Autogate system on arrival and departure

As you can see, the new Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) does more than just eliminate waste and improve efficiency through digital transformation of the physical arrival card. It also streamlines the immigration process for foreign visitors, and allows some of them to breeze through using the Egate system!

But again – please note that you can only submit the MDAC within 3 days of your trip, and this includes the date of submission.

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) : Other Important Things

Here are other things about the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card that may be important:

  1. You can check the status of your MDAC registration information here.
  2. You can check the visit pass record for the latest 3 months here.
  3. You can check your Egate eligibility status here. *

* Please note that Egate eligibility is only open to business and social travellers from these 10 countries, who have an e-Passport, and will only start after you have enrolled your fingerprints (biometric verification) at the immigration counter.

Do You Now Need ETA To Travel To The UK?!

Do you now need ETA – Electronic Travel Authorisation – to travel to the UK?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : You Need ETA To Travel To The UK!

A video clip called New UK travel requirements has gone viral on WhatsApp and social media. It warns that people who travel to the UK on or after 15 November 2023, must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

This has led some people who already booked their flights to the UK to panic, as they were not aware of such requirements.

Recommended : New Study Proves Pfizer Vaccine Causes Turbo Cancer?!

Truth : UK ETA Only Required For Some Countries At The Moment

Here is what you need to know about the UK ETA programme, and what countries are affected.

Fact #1 : Video Is Genuine

First, I would like to point out that the video is genuine, and was originally posted by the UK Home Office on 9 March 2023.

It appears to have been edited and shared by Homely Stay UK on WhatsApp and social media, where it was shared without context, leading to mass panic.

Fact #2 : UK Will Soon Require ETA For Non-Visa Travellers

The warning is, of course, true – the United Kingdom will soon require non-visa travellers to apply and pay for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

The ETA scheme is part of the UK’s plan to fully digitise its borders by 2025. But note that the ETA only applies to travellers who currently do NOT require a visa to travel to the UK.

An Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will soon be a requirement for people who do not need a visa to come to the UK. It will give you permission to travel to the UK, and it will be electronically linked to your passport.

You’ll need an ETA to:

  • come to the UK for up to 6 months for tourism, visiting family and friends, business or study
  • come to the UK for up to 3 months on the Creative Worker visa concession
  • transit through the UK – including if you’re not going through UK border control

Once it is fully implemented, these travellers will not require an ETA to travel to the UK:

  • a British or Irish passport
  • permission to live, work, or study in the UK
  • a visa to enter the UK

Recommended : Did Moderna Try To Cover Up Vaccine Deaths?!

Fact #3 : Only Qatar Affected In November 2023

What the video does not reveal is that only travellers from Qatar must have an ETA to travel to the UK from 15 November 2023 onwards.

No other country is affected by this 15 November 2023 deadline, only Qatar. So stop panicking!

If you’re from another country : You do not need to apply for an ETA now. More nationalities will be added to the scheme later.

Even if you are a resident of Qatar, there is no need to panic – you can only apply for an ETA from 25 October 2023 onwards.

Fact #4 : UK Will Rollout ETA Through 2024

The United Kingdom will slowly roll out its ETA programme throughout 2024.

From 22 February 2024 onwards, travellers from these six countries in the Middle East will need an ETA to travel to the UK:

  • Bahrain
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates

Even travellers from these countries do not need to apply until 1 February 2024 onwards.

The UK Home Office has not mentioned what countries will be affected next, but non-visa travellers from all other countries will need an ETA by 2025.

Recommended : Is Joe Biden Reinstating Face Mask + Lockdowns?!

Fact #5 : How Much Does ETA Cost?

Each traveller will require his or her own ETA, including children and babies. Each ETA will cost £10 per applicant.

Fact #6 : How Long Does Each ETA Last?

Your ETA will last for 2 years, and can use it to make multiple visits to the UK. However, you should know that having an ETA does not guarantee entry to the UK.

In addition, the ETA is not transferrable to a new / renewed passport. If your passport expires in less than 2 years, you will need to get a new ETA for your new / renewed passport.

Fact #7 : How To Apply For UK ETA

You can apply for yourself, or on the behalf of other travellers. There are two ways to apply for the UK ETA:

  • using the UK ETA app (not available yet)
  • apply online on GOV.UK (not available yet)

Note : Neither options are available yet, because the first day anyone can apply for a UK ETA is on 25 October 2023.

You will usually get a decision within 3 working days, but there may be delays if the UK government needs to make further checks. Once your ETA is approved, you will receive an email confirmation.

There is no ETA to print or bring with you. The ETA is linked electronically to the passport you applied with. You must therefore travel to the UK using the same passport.

Did Al-Nassr President Call Cristiano Ronaldo A Scam?!

Did former Al-Nassr president Musalli Al-Muammar say that the club was cheated by Cristiano Ronaldo, and called him a scam?!

Claim : Al-Nassr Got Cheated + Cristiano Ronaldo Is A Scam!

Truth : Al-Nassr President Did Not Call Cristiano Ronaldo A Scam!

This is yet another example of celebrity FAKE NEWS created by Music Mundial and other websites to generate page views, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Fake Claim Originated With El Desmarque

The fake news appear to have originated with Spanish sports publication El Desmarque, and was quickly picked up by other websites.

It is odd why they posted it, because Al-Muammar’s statement reads like satire, particularly the part where he compared signing up Cristiano Ronaldo with getting two kebabs instead of the three he ordered.

Fact #2 : ArabiaNews50 Does Not Exist

ArabiaNews50 / ArabicNews50 / Arabia News 50 / Arabic News 50 – the news outlet that allegedly interviewed Al-Muammar does not exist!

Anyone who does a quick search online would quickly realise that, so it is very odd so many websites continue to propagate this claim. Wink wink, nod nod.

Fact #3 : Al-Nassr Called The Claim False

Al-Nassr’s press advisor Walid Al-Muhaidib vehemently denied that Al-Muammar made those comments, calling them “false”. He also pointed out that there was no such media outlet called Arabic News 50 / Arabia News 50.

The talk in the Spanish press that we felt cheated on the Ronaldo deal, based on the Arabia News 50 website, is false and incorrect. The press came up with his joke and thought it was true.

Fact #4 : El Desmarque Confirmed It Is Fake News

It is unknown why El Desmarque did not verify the facts, but it has since replaced its original article with a correction and apology:

Did Saudi Ambassador Muhammad al-Qahtani Die From Vaccine?!

Did the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Muhammad al-Qahtani, die from the COVID-19 vaccine while giving a speech?!

Take a look at the viral video, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Saudi Ambassador Muhammad al-Qahtani Died From Vaccine?!

People are sharing a video which they claim shows the Saudi ambassador Muhammad al-Qahtani collapsing and dying from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here are some of the comments that accompany the viral video :

The #Saudi ambassador, Muhammad al-Qahtani, fell and died during a speech at a conference in the #Egyptian capital, #Cairo, in which he praised president A-Sisi and described him as “the dean of humanity.

Hmm, how may #clotshot’s did he take? #SaudiArabia #BreakingNews

The Saudi ambassador, Muhammad al-Qahtani, fell and died during a speech at a conference in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Sadly doctors confirmed it was caused by Sudden Adult Death Syndrome(SADS), and totally unrelated to all his COVID vaccines.

Truth : Saudi Ambassador al-Qahtani Did Not Die From Vaccine?!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : He Was Not Saudi Ambassador To Egypt

First, let me confirm that the man in the video clip – Muhammad al-Qahtani – is NOT the Saudi ambassador to Egypt.

The current Saudi ambassador to Egypt is Osama Naqli, who is very much alive.

In fact, Osama Naqli himself dismissed the false rumour, and also confirmed that the man was not one of Saudi Arabia’s ambassadors, or a Saudi diplomat.

Fact #2 : He Was A Saudi Businessman

The man in the viral video is Saudi businessman Muhammad bin Nasser bin Wazan al-Qahtani, who now resides in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mr. al-Qahtani owns the Al-Salam Holding Company, and was giving a speech at the Arab-African Conference in Cairo on Monday, 8 August 2022, when he collapsed and died.

This is apparently his Twitter account, and this is a video of him.

Fact #3 : His Cause Of Death Is Currently Unknown

Mr. al-Qahtani was taken away to another room to receive medical attention by security guards, but passed away.

His cause of death is currently unknown. That does not mean he died from “a vaccine injury” or “vaccine side effects”. It means – no one knows why he collapsed and died suddenly.

Until an autopsy is performed and his family reveals his cause of death, anyone who claims that Muhammad al-Qahtani died of this or that cause is lying to you.

Fact #4 : He Collapsed Mid-Speech

In the clearest video of the incident, Mr. al-Qahtani was seen praising UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nas a “dean of humanity and a man of peace” before he paused, and collapsed.

Until his sudden collapse, he does not appear to be ill. The video shows him standing and speaking normally, and he even turned several times to gesture at people to the side.

That does not suggest that he was suffering from any debilitating medical conditions like myocarditis, for example.

Fact #5 : There Are Thousands Of SADS Deaths Every Year

It is possible that Muhammad al-Qahtani may have died from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS), also known as Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

But that does not mean SADS is caused by COVID-19 vaccines. That would be rather ludicrous as SADS was first documented in 1977 – long before COVID-19 vaccines were invented!

SADS also occurs at a rate of 0.12 to 0.21 per 100,000 people every single year. In other words, approximately 9,000 to 16,000 people die from SADS every single year, before the COVID-19 vaccines were invented.

Despite what anti-vaccination activists may tell you – SADS is not a new vaccine-related syndrome.

SADS is usually caused by an abnormal heart rhythm that leads to a cardiac arrest. That’s why it can be prevented by implanting a cardioverter-defribillator.

The UK Office for National Statistics data on Sudden Adult Deaths from 2016 to 2020 also showed NO INCREASE in SADS cases, demonstrating that COVID-19 vaccines did not increase the prevalence of SADS.

Years Sudden Adult Death
Syndrome Cases
2016 116
2017 63
2018 53
2019 87
2020 115

Fact #6 : Unknown If Muhammad al-Qahtani Was Vaccinated

It is currently unknown if Muhammad al-Qahtani was vaccinated against COVID-19, so it would be wrong for anyone to claim that he died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in both Saudi Arabia or the UAE, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

Read more : Did FDA ask for 75 years to release Pfizer vaccine data?

Fact #7 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Muhammad al-Qahtani was vaccinated against COVID-19, he would have received all of his doses many months ago.

He cannot possibly have died from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #8 : COVID-19 Vaccines Proven Safe + Effective

COVID-19 vaccines underwent massive clinical trials, and were only approved after they were proven to be safe and effective.

In addition, they were constantly monitored after they received their approvals, which picked up rare side effects after they were administered to billions of people.

Anti-vaccination activists have often claimed that those who received the vaccine would die. Yet, the opposite was true – the vaccines are not only safe, they are effective in protecting people from getting hospitalised or dying from COVID-19.

Even prominent antivaxxer Steve Kirsch is healthy and well, despite being fully-vaccinated against COVID-19!

The Brief Kiss That Got Lightyear Banned In 14+ Countries!

Take a look at the scene that got the Disney-Pixar movie, Lightyear, banned in 14 countries, and likely China too!

Lightyear Movie Banned In 14 Countries + Maybe China Too!

Lightyear – the long-awaited Toy Story prequel from Disney-Pixar – has been banned in  14 Asian and Middle Eastern countries, and quite likely China too!

The ban started in the UAE, whose Media Regulatory Office of the Ministry of Youth and Culture announced on 13 June 2022 that Lightyear was banned from screening in all cinemas for “its violation of the country’s media content standards“.

A Variety report claimed that the UAE initially approved Lightyear for release, but revoked the licence after social media posts accused the movie of insulting Muslims and Islam.

That ban was then followed by other countries. The current list includes, but is not limited to :

  • United Arab Emirates
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Egypt
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Kuwait
  • Bahrain

Although not confirmed yet, it is very likely that Lightyear will also not be allowed to screen in China.

Lightyear producer, Galyn Susman, said that Chinese authorities “asked for cuts”, which Disney declined to make. So she assumed that the movie would not be allowed to screen there either.

I’m assuming it will not make it to China. I know we’ve gotten requests for things to cut, Disney isn’t going to modify the material.

We’re not going to cut out anything, especially something as important as the loving and inspirational relationship that shows Buzz what he’s missing by the choices that he’s making, so that’s not getting cut

The Brief Kiss That Got Lightyear Banned In 14+ Countries!

The reasons why Lightyear has been banned in at least 14 countries, and possibly China too, is over a brief kissing scene.

In the first 30 minutes of Lightyear, Alisha Hawthorne (voiced by Uzo Aduba) – a female space ranger and a close friend of Buzz Lightyear – shares a brief kiss with her same-sex partner.

That kiss was part of a scene showing milestones in the couple’s relationship. It also shows the couple’s son, although it is not known if he was adopted or conceived through assisted reproduction.

But it was the brief kiss between two fictional characters that broke the camel’s back for censors in those countries. They demanded that the scene be cut from the film.

Normally, Disney would quietly cut such a controversial scene from the movie to comply with “local sensibilities”, since it doesn’t affect the plot.

However, Pixar employees had earlier penned a letter complaining that Disney corporate executives were censoring “nearly every moment of overtly gay affection” in their projects.

We at Pixar have personally witnessed beautiful stories, full of diverse characters, come back from Disney corporate reviews shaved down to crumbs of what they once were.

Nearly every moment of overtly gay affection is cut at Disney’s behest, regardless of when there is protest from both the creative teams and executive leadership at Pixar.

Disney caved to the pressure, and decided not to censor the kiss from Lightyear. And so, all those countries refused to grant a licence to screen the movie in theatres.

Lightyear Stars On Why Lightyear Was Banned…

Chris Evans, who voiced Buzz Lightyear in this prequel, labelled such objections as “frustrating”.

It’s great that we are a part of something that’s making steps forward in the social inclusion capacity.

But it’s frustrating that there are still places that aren’t where they should be.

He also told Variety magazine that he was frustrated that news coverage of the movie would be focused on such an issue :

It’s tough to not be a little frustrated that it even has to be a topic of discussion. That it is this kind of ‘news.’

The goal is that we can get to a point where it is the norm, and that this doesn’t have to be some uncharted waters, that eventually this is just the way it is.

Taika Waititi, who voices the character of Mo Morrison in the film, added :

We’re hoping for a time when we don’t even have to have this conversation. We can watch a movie and we don’t even have to bat an eyelid.

We don’t have to think ‘Oh wow, weird’. It’s not weird, it’s normal and it should be normalised.

Whenever you have these small steps that studios are making – sometimes they may feel small but also, they are steps – and it’s steps towards normalising humanity and love. I really feel sorry for countries who don’t want this film because of a tiny, weird little thing like that

Fake News : New Malaysia Travel Ban On 23 Countries!

Please note that the new travel ban by Malaysia on 23 countries with high COVID-19 cases is FAKE NEWS!

Here is what you need to know!

Claim : Malaysia Travel Ban On 23 Countries!

On 7 January 2022, people started sharing a screenshot of a travel advisory by the Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin, Germany.

Please skip to the next section for the facts…

Embassy of Malaysia, Berlin

TRAVEL ADVISORY
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS ON FOREIGN TRAVELERS TO MALAYSIA

Effective from 08 January 2022, the Government of Malaysia is imposing travel restrictions into Malaysia on foreign travellers who are travelling from countries that have recorded over 150,000 COVID-19 cases as listed below:

Truth : There Is No Such Travel Ban!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS being created and circulated on WhatsApp and social media, and here are the facts…

Fact #1 : This Travel Advisory Was Forged

This travel advisory was forged from the original September 2020 travel advisory.

Back then, the government of Malaysia announced the temporary travel ban on those 23 countries, that would start on 7 September 2021.

The original travel advisory was edited, with the new date added to make it look like it’s new. But it was a very poor photo-editing job.

If you look carefully, the 08 January 2022, date is not only in bold , but of a different type of font and a much larger size.

Note : Here is the screenshot that went viral. I added a FAKE overlay to prevent further abuse.

Fact #2 : Embassy of Malaysia In Berlin Confirms It Is Fake

The Embassy of Berlin in Malaysia confirmed that the viral travel advisory is FAKE.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Embassy of Malaysia, Berlin would like to warn the public that there has been a fake news being circulated regarding travel advisory by the Embassy of Malaysia, Berlin on entry restriction on foreign travelers [sic] to Malaysia.

We condemn the actions of those who maliciously spread fake news which can have an adverse effect and concern to the public. The public is advice [sic] to validate the source before circulating any news.

Thank you.

Embassy of Malaysia, Berlin
7 January 2022

Fact #3 : Malaysia Currently Has No Travel Ban

There is currently no travel ban in Malaysia.

In fact, Malaysia just ended a temporary travel ban of 8 countries, on 27 December 2021, due to the risk of Omicron variant.

There is currently only a list of 18 countries that are considered high-risk due to the Omicron variant.

  1. Australia
  2. The United States of America
  3. The United Kingdom
  4. Norway
  5. France
  6. Denmark
  7. Canada
  8. Nigeria
  9. India
  10. Saudi Arabia
  11. South Africa
  12. Botswana
  13. Eswatini
  14. Lesotho
  15. Mozambique
  16. Namibia
  17. Zimbabwe
  18. Malawi

Travellers from those 18 high-risk countries can still travel to Malaysia, but they must comply with the following additional restrictions :

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test within 2 days before departure
  • COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Malaysia
  • Wear a digital tracker on arrival in Malaysia
  • Mandatory quarantine of 7 days or 10 days, depending on vaccination status, either at home or at a quarantine centre, subject to approval.
  • Additional PCR test on Day 5 (for 7-day quarantine) or Day 8 (for 10-day quarantine).
  • Risk assessment on the last day of quarantine, which may be extended if you are symptomatic.
  • You will only be free from the quarantine on Day 8 or Day 11, if there is no quarantine extension and the Day 5 or Day 8 PCR test is negative.
  • Travellers from the United Kingdom have the additional requirement of conducting daily RTK-Ag tests during their quarantine, which must be reported in MySejahtera.

Now that you know the truth, please SHARE this fact check with your family and friends, so they won’t get fooled by it!

Health Advocates Against Pfizer mRNA Vaccine : A Fact Check

According to health advocates backed by PPIM, PATRIOT, AHM Group and GNI, we need to stop using the Pfizer vaccine right away!

Let’s take a look at their claims, and find out what the FACTS really are!

Health Advocates Against Pfizer mRNA Vaccine : A Fact Check

Writers calling themselves Health Advocates penned a letter that appears to be gaining traction on WhatsApp, after being posted on two websites.

Let’s go through the various claims on the Pfizer vaccine, and see what the facts really are!

PFIZER is probably the worst serial corporate criminal in the world, considering the several published news reports on Pfizer’s involvement in fraud, bribery, corruption and illegal tests on children.

Can we trust such a corrupt company on the safety of their experimental mRNA chemical vaccine when their own top management have refused to take it so far?

We will not comment on legal claims, which are the purview of the courts.

But it is categorically false that Pfizer’s top management refused to take their mRNA vaccine so far.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla received his first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in mid February 2021, and his second shot on 10 March 2021.

Yet, we are the only hot-weather developing country in the world to have ordered this very temperature sensitive chemical vaccine.

Seriously? Never heard of the country called Singapore, just south of Johor Bahru? Yes, Singapore is still considered as a developing country (according to WTO).

How about Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the UAE and even Saudi Arabia in the Middle East?

The ultra-low temperature storage requirement is troublesome all over the world. It requires special ultra-low temperature freezers like these.

But if you have them, it really doesn’t matter if you are in the tropics or the North Pole.

Total order so far of 32 million doses (for half the population) of highly risky (as stated by the US Govt NIH website), ineffective (in preventing COVID-19 infection and transmission as it has been proven now) & possibly very harmful chemical vaccine.

The US NIH did NOT call the Pfizer vaccine as “highly risky” or “ineffective” or “possibly very harmful”.

In his 9 March 2021 post on the Pfizer vaccine, NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins noted that the real world study showed that “the vaccine works remarkably well” and offered “essentially the same very high level of protection that was seen in the data gathered in the earlier U.S. clinical trial“.

Why does the US Govt National Institutes of Health (NIH), after stating that synthetic mRNA is gene therapy, said that this approach can have “very serious health risks such as toxicity, inflammation, and cancer”?

The US National Institutes of Health did NOT label the mRNA vaccine as “gene therapy”.

It would not be possible to modify our genes using mRNA technology because mRNA cannot enter the cell nucleus, and therefore cannot modify our DNA.

In his 16 March 2021 post on the CRISPR-based anti-viral therapy for HIV and COVID-19, NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins wrote about a team that used mRNA technology to create a bacterial enzyme called Cas13a that is capable of “cutting up” the viral RNA, stopping the infection.

In that article, he also pointed out that “Because mRNA doesn’t enter the cell’s nucleus, it doesn’t interact with DNA and raise potential concerns about causing unwanted genetic changes.

Our procurement for vaccines should not be political but based on merit, especially safety. But we should be mindful about the principles of justice, ethics and human rights.

Indeed, it should be based on merit and safety. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was the first out with its Phase 3 trial results.

Based on its excellent safety and efficacy results, it was the first COVID-19 vaccine to receive an Emergency Utilisation Authority from the US FDA.

Our procurement must also not go against our policies to oppose Zionism (we do not recognize the state of Israel) and the oppression of the Palestinian people in Israel and the illegally occupied Palestinian territories.

Didn’t you just say that vaccine procurement should not be political?

Even so, how is buying the Pfizer vaccine related to Zionism, or the oppression of the Palestinian people?

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla is a prominent Greek Jew and there is nothing wrong in being a Jew.

On Jan 15, 2021, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, announced that it would award an honorary doctorate to Albert Bourla. No problem with that.

But instead of rejecting the offer, Albert Bourla immediately responded that “I am moved by the news and honored to receive a degree from such an important and historical institution as the Technion. In my youth, I considered studying at Technion; this is an emotional closure for me”.

Wow, such passionate support for Technion.

So you have no problem with Albert Bourla being a Jew or receiving an honorary doctorate, but you have a problem with the fact he didn’t reject the honorary doctorate that you just said you had no problem with?

Wow.. such logic. Such impeccable logic.

How can the government justify such a huge order (largest order for our country so far, for any vaccine) for such a risky experimental vaccine from such a corrupt corporation (Pfizer)?

The same reasons why Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the UAE and even Saudi Arabia had no issue purchasing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

  1. The Pfizer COMIRNATY vaccine has been proven to be very safe and efficacious.
  2. They were able to handle its ultra-low temperature storage issues.
  3. Pfizer is a public-listed American company, not an Israeli company.

Incidentally, Pfizer is merely the US manufacturing partner for BioNTech – the German company that actually created the vaccine. In China, BioNTech is working  with Fosun Pharma to make the vaccine.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and the mRNA technology it’s based on were actually created by Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci – Germans of Turkish descent!

To Health Advocates Against Pfizer Vaccine : Put People’s Lives First

I agree with you completely that vaccine procurement should not be political, but based on merit and safety.

Scientifically, the Pfizer-BioNTech COMIRNATY vaccine has been proven to be both safe and effective. Period.

LET US PUT PEOPLE’S LIVES FIRST. We need to vaccinate everyone as quickly as possible – the COVID-19 pandemic has already killed more than 3 million people globally!
