On 28 April 2021, vivo launched their V21 and V21e smartphones, both offering a phenomenal 44 MP front camera as their killer feature!

Performance
The vivo V21 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, while the V21e runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G.
They both have 8 GB of RAM, with the ability to expand it with 3 GB of Extended Memory (virtual memory).
They both come with 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
44 MP Selfie Camera
Both smartphones come with a 44 MP selfie camera, with a wide f/2.0 aperture; and support for Super Night Selfie and AI Night Portrait.
The higher-end vivo V21 boasts two world leading features :
- its 44 MP selfie camera supports optical image stabilisation (OIS), which allows you to take super-steady photos and videos even while walking!
- it is the first phone to feature Dual Selfie Spotlight, for radiant selfies even in low light conditions!
Triple Rear Cameras
Both models feature the same triple camera setup – a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.
The higher-end vivo V21 main’s camera has a slightly wider f/1.79 aperture, compared to f/1.89 for the V21e.
6.44-inch AMOLED Display
They both come with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, which is HDR10 certified.
The higher-end vivo V21’s display is brighter at 500 nits, and comes with a higher 90 Hz refresh rate.
Large Fast-Charging Battery
Both models run on a large 4,000 mAh battery, which supports 33 watt fast charging. And yes, they both come with the 33 watt charger in box!
