Did vaccine inventor admit mRNA would depopulate world?!

Did COVID-19 vaccine inventor Professor John Bell admit that the mRNA vaccines were designed to depopulate the world?! Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Vaccine inventor admits mRNA would depopulate world!

People are sharing an article (archive) by The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch), which claims that COVID-19 vaccine inventor Professor John Bell just admitted that the mRNA vaccines were designed to depopulate the world

Here is an excerpt of the (intentionally?) confusing article. Feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

Covid Vaccine Inventor Blows Whistle: ‘mRNA Was Designed To Depopulate the World’

The Covid vaccine was designed to sterilize the masses and depopulate the world, according to the inventor of the ill-fated Oxford Covid vaccine who has blown the whistle on the elite’s real agenda behind the shots.

Recommended : Did Sperm Counts Fall Rapidly After COVID Vaccine Rollout?!

Truth : Vaccine inventor did not admit mRNA would depopulate world!

This is yet another example of fake news created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Professor Bell did not admit mRNA would depopulate the world

Professor Sir John Irving Bell did not admit or claim that the mRNA vaccines were designed to sterilise the masses and depopulate the world.

For one thing – if he said that, it would have triggered an uproar, and there would have been investigations all over the world. The truth is – his words were taken out of context, and (intentionally?) misrepresented.

During a Channel 4 interview, presenter Jon Snow asked Professor Bell when would people be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine, to which the professor responded:

A lot of this depends on the intensity of infection. So, in order to get a readout, you have to have a certain number of incident cases in the control vaccine population. And that then tells you that you can look at the real vaccinated population and see whether they’ve been protected. So, I’m hoping that’s going to happen pretty smartly this autumn.

But then, don’t forget – these vaccines are unlikely to completely sterilise the population. They’re very likely to have an effect which works in a percentage, say 60 or 70 percent. We will have to look quite carefully, and the regulators will have to look quite carefully that it’s done, what we needed to do, before it gets approved.

So there will be a delay between the outcome of the [clinical] trial, and the decision on whether it can approved as a vaccine. Anything that happens to undermine the legitimacy of regulators to make independent decisions is, in my view, profoundly unhelpful.

As you can see, Professor Bell was speaking strictly about whether the COVID-19 vaccines being tested would be good enough to protect people against infections. He never once mention any potential impact on reproduction or fertility.

While Professor Bell did mention “sterilise the population“, he was referring to the ability of the vaccines to medical term – “sterilising immunity“, which refers to the ability of a vaccine to eliminate the pathogen before it replicates in the host.

Recommended : Did German study find COVID vaccine caused excess deaths?!

Fact #2 : The interview was posted on 24 August 2020

I should point out that this claim is based on a very old Channel 4 interview from 24 August 2020, which has been debunked numerous times since then.

Why The People’s Voice would repeat this long-debunked claim in August 2024 – almost 4 years later???

Fact #3 : COVID-19 vaccines do not cause infertility

When Channel 4 conducted its interview with Professor Bell, the mRNA vaccines were still undergoing clinical trials, so it was impossible for anyone to know (at that time) whether they cause infertility issues in vaccinated people.

Several months later, the clinical trial results show that the COVID-19 vaccines were safe and effective, and they were approved for mass vaccination. Since then, additional research have shown that COVID-19 vaccines do not affect fertility.

As the US CDC explains, recent studies have found “no differences” in fertility between vaccinated women, or women who survived COVID-19, and women who were not infected by COVID-19. It also pointed out that a study of more than 2,000 females aged 21-45 years and their partners, showed that COVID-19 vaccination did not affect their fertility.

In addition, the world population continues to increase in 2024 – at 0.91% per year, up from 0.88% in 2023. That would not be possible if COVID-19 vaccines cause infertility.

Fact #4 : Professor Bell refuted those claims in 2021

Professor John Bell refuted those claims in April 2021, when he told AAP Factcheck that he was referring to how vaccines can “sterilise” a community from COVID-19 by preventing the virus from spreading.

I was referring to the ability of the vaccines to completely eliminate viral replication (ie sterilise) and (it) had no relevance to fertility.

Why would The People’s Voice revive this false claim in August 2024???

Recommended : Did study show mRNA vaccines cause autoimmune diseases?!

Fact #5 : Professor Bell never mentioned mRNA vaccines

I should also point out that Professor John Bell never even mentioned the mRNA vaccines. He was speaking about COVID-19 vaccines in general, and the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine that he was helping to develop.

Professor Bell was not part of the teams developing the mRNA vaccines, and he would not know anything about their efficacy and side effects. More so since the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were still undergoing clinical trials at that time!

Fact #6 : The People’s Voice Is Known For Fake News

The People’s Voice is the current name for NewsPunch, which possibly changed its name because its brand has been so thoroughly discredited after posting numerous shocking but fake stories.

Founded as Your News Wire in 2014, it was rebranded as NewsPunch in November 2018, before becoming The People’s Voice. A 2017 BuzzFeed report identified NewsPunch as the second-largest source of popular fake news on Facebook that year.

Its articles have been regularly debunked as fake news, so you should never share anything from NewsPunch / The People’s Voice.  Here are some of its fake stories that I fact checked earlier:

Was shocking Autism-COVID vaccine connection just confirmed?!

Was a shocking connection between autism and the COVID-19 vaccine just confirmed?! Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Shocking Autism-COVID Vaccine Connection Just Confirmed!

People are sharing an article (archive) by Natural News, which claimed or suggested that a shocking connection between autism and the COVID-19 vaccine was just confirmed!

Here is an excerpt from the long and (intentionally?) confusing article. Feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

Shocking connection now confirmed between AUTISM and COVID VACCINES

Recommended : Ryan’s Autism Journey – How To Be The Miracle!

Truth : There Is No Autism-COVID Vaccine Connection!

This is yet another example of anti-vaccine fake news created or promoted by Natural News, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : COVID-19 Vaccines Do Not Contain Thimerosal / Mercury!

Let me start by pointing out that COVID-19 vaccines do not contain thimerosal or mercury! On top of that, most vaccines do not use thimerosal as a preservative.

In the United States, thimerosal – a mercury-based preservative was used in multi-dose medicines and vaccines. However, it was removed from most vaccines out of an abundance of caution in 1999, and all childhood vaccines in 2001.

Many vaccines which people claimed contained thimerosal, never used that preservative (CDC):

  • the mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR) vaccine never used thimerosal,
  • the chickenpox (varicella) vaccine never used thimerosal,
  • the inactivated polio vaccine never used thimerosal,
  • the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine never used thimerosal,
  • and of course – the COVID-19 vaccines never used thimerosal!

The only vaccine that currently uses thimerosal is the influenza (flu) vaccine in the multi-dose vial. The single-dose influenza vaccine does not use thimerosal as a preservative.

So why would anyone claim or suggest that thimerosal or mercury is still used in many vaccines???

Fact #2 : Thimerosal Does Not Cause Autism

On top of that, both thimerosal and aluminium adjuvants were never linked to autism. Many thorough studies have concluded that thimerosal did not contribute to the development of autism.

Even after thimerosal was removed from almost all childhood vaccines, autism rates continued to increase – demonstrating that it has no bearing on the development of autism in children.

Recommended : Are autism rates in Australia surging due to COVID-19 vaccines?!

Fact #4 : Vaccines Do Not Cause Cell Damage Response

Cell Danger Response (CDR) is a (relatively) new hypothesis proposed by Professor Dr. Robert K. Naviaux, MD PhD – a professor of medicine, pediatrics and pathology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD).

From what I understand, Professor Naviaux first wrote about its metabolic features in August 2013, and conducted a small Phase 1/2 randomised clinical trial in 2015-2016, with some promising results.

As he explained in his autism research subset, the CDR hypothesis proposes that autism is a “treatable metabolic syndrome” that is caused by abnormalities in ATP (purinergic) signalling that can be caused by:

  • a mutant gene
  • environmental threats like air and water pollution, pesticides,
  • infections,
  • other early life stressors encountered during pregnancy, or in the first 2-3 years of life

Notably, Professor Naviaux never claimed or suggested that any vaccine was responsible for Cell Damage Response, or causing autism. So why would anyone suggest otherwise???

In fact, Professor Naviaux proposed treating autism with anti-purinergic therapy, which is why his 2017 clinical trial involved the use of an old anti-purinergic drug called suramin.

If he believed that vaccines cause Cell Damage Response, he would have advocated for a stop to childhood vaccines. He never did that, because vaccines do not cause CDR.

Fact #5 : COVID-19 Vaccines Do Not Cause CDR / Autism

Just to be clear – COVID-19 vaccines do not cause Cell Danger Response (CDR), or autism.

In fact, the Natural News article does not even offer any evidence that any COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to CDR or autism!

All it appears to do is just make that claim, and expect everyone to just believe them. Nuts!

Fact #6 : Natural News Is Known For Fake News

Natural News is a far-right, anti-vaccination conspiracy theory and fake news website that is known for publishing / promoting pseudoscience, disinformation, and far-right extremism.

Writing in the journal Vaccine, Anna Kata identified Natural News as one of numerous websites spreading “irresponsible health information”. According to John Banks, Natural News founder Mike Adams uses “pseudoscience to sell his lies” and is “seen as generally a quack and a shill by science bloggers.”

Dr. David Gorski called Natural News “one of the most wretched hives of scum and quackery on the Internet,” and the most “blatant purveyor of the worst kind of quackery and paranoid anti-physician and anti-medicine conspiracy theories anywhere on the Internet”.

Its articles have been regularly debunked as fake news, so you should never share anything from Natural News.  Here are some of its fake stories that I fact checked earlier:

Pfizer Vaccine Causes Autism? Rats Are Not Mini Humans!

Did a new Turkish study suggest that giving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to pregnant women may cause autism in their children?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Study Suggests Pfizer mRNA Vaccine May Cause Autism!

The Children’s Health Defense (CHD) activist group, which is chaired by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., just posted an article suggesting that a new Turkish study suggests that giving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to pregnant women may cause autism in their children!

Here is an excerpt from the CHD article (archive) with my emphasis in bold.

Pfizer’s COVID Vaccine Caused Autism-Like Behaviors in Offspring of Rats Vaccinated During Pregnancy

COVID-19 mRNA gene therapies (“vaccines”) were likely the first injectable medicines recommended for pregnant women based on just 11 weeks of testing — even though according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the average time required to test a drug for safety is eight-and-a-half years.

Now, a Turkish study in Neurochemical Research, by Mumin Alper Erdogan et al., suggests administering the mRNA vaccines to pregnant women may cause neurodevelopmental harm to their children.

Recommended : Did New Study Show Pfizer mRNA Vaccine Causes Autism?!

Truth : Study Did Not Suggest Pfizer mRNA Vaccine Causes Autism!

Let’s take a closer look at the study from Turkey, and find out what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : mRNA Vaccines Are Not Gene Therapies

Let me just start by pointing out that the first sentence in the CHD article is factually wrong – mRNA vaccines are not gene therapies. It’s really peculiar for anyone to make such a claim.

mRNA vaccines do not enter the cell nucleus, and do not modify our cell DNA. There is no danger of “genomic integration”. The mRNA is also transitory – being broken down by the cell after some time.

Gene therapies, on the other hand, are designed to make permanent changes to a patient’s DNA, by adding a functional copy of a gene, disabling a gene, or activating an existing gene.

Fact #2 : Bridging Studies Do Not Require Long Trials

I also find it odd that the article took pains to point out that the mRNA vaccines for pregnant women were approved after “just 11 weeks of testing”. Does the CHD have any evidence that this is insufficient time to determine the vaccines’ safety and efficacy in pregnant women?

It is interesting that the article failed to mention that the 11-week trial involved more than 35,000 individuals who received the Pfizer or Moderna mNRA vaccine during or shortly before pregnancy, making it the largest trial (at that time) on the safety of COVID-19 vaccines in pregnant women.

I should point out that that wasn’t a full-blown Phase 3 clinical trial, which both Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines had already passed with flying colours months earlier. That was a bridging study, which does not require long trials. So any suggestion or insinuation that they should take the “average time” of 8.5 years is nonsensical.

In any case, the COVID-19 vaccines continue to be monitored for safety and efficacy long after their approvals. If any COVID-19 vaccine was found to have a bad side effect, its approval would be rescinded.

Fact #3 : Study Never Suggested mRNA Vaccines Cause Autism In Humans

I should point out that the Turkish study never suggested that mRNA vaccines given to pregnant women may cause neurodevelopmental harm to their children. The authors stated this clearly. More on this in the next section.

Recommended : Did Norway Study Show mRNA Vaccine Danger In Children?!

Fact #4 : It Was An Animal Study

The paper from Turkey by Mumim Alper Erdogan et. al., which is called Prenatal Exposure to COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 Induces Autism-Like Behaviors in Male Neonatal Rats: Insights into WNT and BDNF Signaling Perturbations, is available for public access (archive).

As the title points out – the Turkish study was conducted on rats, specifically Wistar rats. Therefore, the results obviously do not translate to actual human beings.

While rats are mammals too, they are not miniature human beings, and respond differently to chemicals, drugs, and yes, vaccines too. Therefore, the results of any animal study should not be used to draw any conclusions about human beings. The authors themselves pointed this out:

… it’s vital to note these insights come primarily from animal studies, limiting their direct applicability to humans. Further human clinical research is required to confirm these findings.

It’s imperative to recognize the limitations of our research, given that it relies on animal models. Caution should be exercised in generalizing these results to humans.

Fact #5 : Pfizer Vaccine Dose Was Extremely High

To conduct their experiments, the Turkish researchers impregnated 15 female Wistar rats, splitting them into two groups – 7 receiving a saline solution (control group), and 8 receiving the Pfizer mRNA vaccine. However, it does not appear that the rats were given the appropriate dosage of the Pfizer vaccine.

Human adults receive 30 μg of the Pfizer vaccine in each dose. Given that the average female adult weight is 77.5 kg / 170.8 pounds (per CDC), and the average Wistar rat in that experiment weighed about 220 grams, each female rat should have received only 0.085 μg – 1/352th of the human dose.

Instead, each female Wistar rat was injected with 30 μg of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine – equivalent to 10,560 μg in human dosage, or 352 vaccine doses in one shot. This was the same problem we saw with an earlier Belgian study on the Pfizer vaccine causing turbo cancer.

This decision to use such a high dose of the Pfizer vaccine (in relative terms) makes the experiment a poor reflection of actual vaccine safety in human beings. Anything taken at such high doses would likely be toxic. Even water, when taken in large amounts, is toxic to humans.

Recommended : Why Study Didn’t Prove Pfizer Vaccine Causes Turbo Cancer!

Fact #6 : Study Did Not Test COVID-19 Infection

The study suggested in its introduction that the spike protein – whether produced by “natural viral infection” or “post vaccination” may potentially cause “neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism”.

There are theoretical postulates suggesting that the biosynthesis of the spike protein, either through natural viral infection or post-vaccination, could induce neuroinflammation and elicit alterations in synaptic plasticity [5, 6]. These proposed changes might exert effects on brain development and have potential contributions to neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism [7].

Unfortunately, the study did not test that hypothesis by testing to see if COVID-19 infections can also cause similar changes in the progeny of pregnant Wistar rats. So it is impossible to know if it was a component in the Pfizer vaccine, or the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, that caused those changes in the rat babies.

Think about this – if it was really the spike protein that caused those changes, then the benefits of vaccination would still outweigh the risks. After all, COVID-19 vaccines only create a limited number of spike protein analogues to trigger the immune system into learning how to create antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

On the other hand, the actual COVID-19 infection will create an unlimited number of SARS-CoV-2 viruses – each covered with spike proteins! The longer the COVID-19 infection persists, the more cells are infected to produce more SARS-CoV-2 viruses… and yes, more spike proteins!

Fact #7 : Authors Warned Against Drawing Conclusions

I should end by pointing out that the authors of this study themselves warned against drawing any conclusions about whether the Pfizer vaccine causes autism in human beings.

It’s imperative to recognize the limitations of our research, given that it relies on animal models. Caution should be exercised in generalizing these results to humans. Further rigorous clinical studies are required to confirm these observations in human populations and to ascertain the exact mechanisms at play.

Is This The Only Official Michelle Obama Pregnancy Photo?!

Is there only one official Michelle Obama pregnancy photo, taken with Barack Obama?!

Take a look at the viral photo, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : This Is Only Official Michelle Obama Pregnancy Photo!

People are sharing a photo which claims to be the only official Michelle Obama pregnancy photo!

Dom Lucre | Breaker of Narritives : The last photo I shared of Michelle Obama pregnant was community noted so here is the official and only picture of Michelle Obama being pregnant.

Recommended : Did Michelle Obama Release Photos Of Herself Pregnant?!

Truth : That’s Not An Official Michelle Obama Pregnancy Photo!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created about Barack and Michelle Obama, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Michelle Obama Never Released Photos Of Herself Pregnant

First, let me just point out that Michelle Obama has never released photos of herself while pregnant with Sasha or Malia.

That’s not to say they don’t exist. It is likely that they exist – they were simply not made available to us – members of the public.

Perhaps she’s just like many of us who don’t share private photos on social media. Perhaps she did not want to “jinx” her pregnancies.

After all, Michelle and Barack Obama had trouble getting pregnant, and she suffered a miscarriage. They ultimately conceived Malia and Sasha through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF).

But I did find a single photo showing her pregnant with Sasha in the year 2000, while walking with Barack Obama and Malia Sasha in a stroller. It was apparently taken by AP, so we know this is a genuine photo.

Michelle Obama was 36 years old at that time, while Barack Obama was 39 years old. As you can see – they look young!

Fact #2 : The Viral Photo Was AI-Generated

A quick look at the viral photo quickly showed image artifacts that tell us that it was AI-generated.

  • Both Michelle and Barack Obama look like they are in their 50s, instead of their 30s when they had their two girls.
  • Michelle Obama has really abnormal eyebrows. The left eyebrow appears to start from her inner corner of the eyelid, while she appears to have two eyebrows on the right.
  • Michelle Obama appears to have two bulges on her skull.
  • Michelle Obama’s right hand has really weird nails and the fingers are too long.
  • Barack Obama’s left ear is located way too low, right next to his cheek!
  • Barack Obama appears to have a giant double-chin!
  • Barack Obama’s left hand has ridiculously long fingers!

In short – this photo was created using generative AI software. It is most certainly not an actual Michelle Obama pregnancy photo, never mind an official one.

The person who created this photo using generative AI also made the mistake of generating it using current photos of Michelle and Barack Obama. They were only in their 30s when they had Malia and Sasha, not their 50s!

Fact #3 : Michelle Obama Was Born A Woman

There is no need for Michelle Obama to release any photos of herself pregnant to prove that she is a woman.

Even if you ignore the fact that she gave birth to two girls, Michelle Obama grew up as a female. Her family and friends only knew her as a girl and then, a woman. Never as a boy or a man who later became transgender.

Michelle Obama sometimes shares photos of her childhood on her Instagram account. They are all proof that she grew up as a girl, never as a boy.

On the other hand, all these claims that she was born a boy has never been backed by any evidence.

Read more : Do Photos Prove Michelle Obama Is Transgender?!

Fact #4 : Michelle Obama Gave Birth To Two Girls

Claims that Michelle Obama was born a man is not only false, it’s absurdly ridiculous, because she gave birth to two girls – Malia Obama and Sasha Obama.

For those who are wondering – transgender women cannot give birth, or suffer miscarriages, as they were born men, and lack both ovaries and uterus. And no, Malia and Sasha Obama were not adopted

Ultimately, these fake photos, and claims about Michelle Obama being transgender, are just attempts by misogynists and Republicans of the MAGA persuasion to disparage Barack and Michelle Obama.

As the 2024 US Presidential Election draws close, you can expect more rumours of Michelle Obama joining the race, and even more fake news and photos about her.

The rest is smoke and mirrors. I think she’s a he! While you’re at it, DNA test the kids to verify birth parents are Obama’s.

Ultra Maga Tx Teresa 🇺🇸 : 😂🤣😆😂 we know you’re a dude & we’ve seen their real parents. 🤡🤡

Truth : Those Are Not Photos Of A Pregnant Michelle Obama!

Fact #2 : The Photos Were AI-Generated

I took a look at all four photos and quickly determined that they were AI-generated, and rather poor examples at that.

The first two are better examples, but if you look closely, you can see that her hands are grossly distorted. She not only has at least six fingers on each hand, they are of wrong lengths and with nails in the wrong position.

Recommended : Jho Low Paid $20 Million For Photo With The Obamas!

These two examples are terrible. The example on the left does not even look like Michelle Obama. Perhaps a young Oprah Winfrey? Of course, Oprah never had children…

The one on the right looks more like Michelle Obama but had grossly exaggerated features, including a hump neck. But the easiest way to identify it as an AI-generated fake photo is by looking at her hands.

As you can see, both examples have distorted hands. In the example on the left, the fingers of both hands appear to merge together. In the example of the right, her left hand has six unnaturally long fingers, while her right hand has a ridiculously long thumb.

Fact #3 : Online Tools Confirmed Images Were AI-Generated

Just in case you don’t trust my Mark 1 eyeballs, or my common sense, you will be glad to know that two online tools used to detect AI-generated photos – AI or Not, and Illuminarty, have confirmed all four photos were generated using AI image generators.

Fact #4 : Michelle Obama Was Born A Woman

There is no need for Michelle Obama to release any photos of herself pregnant to prove that she is a woman.

Even if you ignore the fact that she gave birth to two girls, Michelle Obama grew up as a female. Her family and friends only knew her as a girl and then, a woman. Never as a boy or a man who later became transgender.

Michelle Obama sometimes shares photos of her childhood on her Instagram account. They are all proof that she grew up as a girl, never as a boy.

On the other hand, all these claims that she was born a boy has never been backed by any evidence.

Fact #5 : Michelle Obama Gave Birth To Two Girls

COVID-19 Vaccines Caused Stillbirth Surge In Singapore?!

Did COVID-19 vaccines cause a massive 5-sigma surge in stillbirth in Singapore in 2022?!

Take a look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : COVID-19 Vaccines Caused Stillbirth Surge In Singapore!

People are sharing a chart which they claim shows a massive 5-sigma surge in stillbirth in Singapore in 2022 caused by the COVID-19 vaccines!

Jikkyleaks : Gee I wonder what happened here? What could give a 5-sigma increase in stillbirth rate in Singapore for 2022?

Truth : COVID-19 Vaccines Did Not Cause Stillbirth Surge In Singapore!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Chart Is From 2022 Singapore Government Report

First, let me start by referring you to the actual report – Report On Registration Of Births And Deaths (PDF download), so you can download read it for yourself.

It is important that you do so, because it will show you how people are trying to mislead you on this issue.

The viral chart can be seen in Page 19 of the report, which shows the “crude stillbirths rate” for the last 10 years.

The report notes that 110 stillbirths were registered in Singapore in 2022, comprising of 54 males, 53 females, and 3 cases with an unknown sex.

Fact #2 : Singapore Expanded Definition Of Stillbirth In 2022

The page with that viral chart has a footnote that said:

5 Please note the revised definition of stillbirths as outlined in explanatory notes 21.

And this is what Explanatory Notes 21 said:

A stillbirth refers to a child that issues from the child’s mother after the 22 weeks of pregnancy and does not show any sign of life at any time after being completely expelled or extracted from the mother. Stillbirth figures referred to the number of stillbirths registered during the year.

That definition itself has a footnote that explains how the definition of stillbirth was EXPANDED in 2022, to include the period of pregnancy from 22 weeks to 28 weeks.

Before 29 May 2022, a stillbirth refers to a child that issues from the child’s mother after the 28 weeks of  pregnancy and does not show any sign of life at any time after being completely expelled or extracted from the mother.

In other words, Singapore greatly expanded the definition of a stillbirth, which would naturally result in a spike of registered stillbirths.

Prior to 29 May 2022, any stillbirth from pregnancies before 28 weeks of pregnancy would NOT be registered as a stillbirth.

Fact #3 : Stillbirth In Singapore Is Now Automatically Registered

Page 21 of the same report also explains how a stillbirth in Singapore is now automatically registered from 29 May 2022 onwards. The same goes for deaths in Singapore – they are also automatically registered from 29 May 2022 onwards.

Effective from 29 May 2022, a stillbirth in Singapore will be automatically registered once a doctor certifies the stillbirth online. After the doctor has certified the stillbirth online, parents can download the digital stillbirth certificate at My Legacy website. There is no fee for stillbirth registration and issuance of a digital stillbirth certificate.

The automatic registration of stillbirths from 29 May 2022 onwards would naturally increase the reporting of stillbirths in Singapore.

Fact #4 : Singapore Made Reporting Mandatory In July 2021

This really isn’t new. In fact, the Singapore Parliament passed amendments to the Registration of Births and Deaths Act on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, to make it compulsory to report the birth, death and stillbirth of every child.

Part 5 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Bill (Bill No. 13/2021) that passed on July 6, 2021, makes it mandatory for every stillborn child in Singapore to be reported, and those who contravene this requirement is subject to a fine and/or imprisonment.

The bill also details the responsibility of medical practitioners in reporting a stillbirth. Those who fail to comply with this requirement is also subject to a fine and/or imprisonment.

Finally, the bill requires the Singapore Registrar-General to register a stillbirth “as soon as practicable”.

Fact #5 : Singapore Infant Mortality Rate Did Not Change

On Page 18 of the report – one page before the viral stillbirth chart, is the chart on infant mortality rates from 2013 to 2022 in Singapore.

This chart shows that the number of infant deaths per 1,000 live births in Singapore did not change for the last 3 years.

This is yet another sign that it was the new reporting requirement that caused the surge in stillbirth in 2022. And of course, more evidence that the COVID-19 vaccines did not impact infant mortality.
