Claim : Jodie Devos died suddenly from vaccine turbo cancer!
Right after news broke that Jodie Devos died at just 35 years of age, some people immediately claimed or suggested the Belgian opera singer was killed by turbo cancer caused by the COVID-19 vaccine!

Truth : Jodie Devos did not die from vaccine turbo cancer!
It is now tradition for anti-vaccine activists to immediately blame all injuries or deaths on the COVID-19 vaccines. Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of fake news about the COVID-19 vaccines…
Jodie Devos died from breast cancer
Jodie Devos (born 10 October 1988 in Libramont-Chevigny, Belgium) was a Belgian operatic coloratura soprano who released three critically-acclaimed solo albums, and performed in concerts all over the world.
She died from breast cancer in Paris on 16 June 2024, surrounded by her family. Her agency, Intermezzo, announced her death:
It is with infinite sadness that we announce the death of our artist Jodie Devos in Paris on June 16, 2024
Hundreds of people attended her funeral at the Saint-Aubin Cathedral in Namur on Saturday, 22 June.
It is unknown when her breast cancer was diagnosed, but she had to cancel several prior engagements. She last performed publicly at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris in April this year, and was supposed to sing at the same venue on 20 June.
The Belgian News Agency reported that she died from “the effects of aggressive breast cancer“. Her agency said that she died from “breast cancer that had forced her to cancel several engagements“.
Turbo cancer does not exist
I should point out that there is no such thing as “turbo cancer”, and after billions of doses have been administered worldwide in the past 3 years – there is still no evidence that any COVID-19 vaccine can cause cancer, or make cancer go “turbo”.
Breast cancer can be detected late, or progress rapidly. For example, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a particularly aggressive and invasive type of breast cancer that is more common in younger women, and is extremely difficult to treat.
Needless to say, anti-vaccine activists provide no evidence to back their claims that vaccinated people are dying from turbo cancer. Ironically, they even accused unvaccinated people (and fellow anti-vaxxers) like Kirstie Alley of dying from turbo cancer!

Unknown if Jodie Devos was vaccinated against COVID-19
Despite claims or suggestions that Jodie Devos was fully-vaccinated, there isn’t any actual evidence that she ever received the COVID-19 vaccine.
It is possible that Jodie Devos was unvaccinated against COVID-19, because the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in Belgium.
In fact, many people who were injured or died suddenly were actually unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Macaulay, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.
Until and unless her family (or the authorities) reveal her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who tells you that Jodie Devos was vaccinated or otherwise, is likely lying to you. None of us know that.
COVID-19 vaccine side effects appear within hours / days
Even if Jodie Devos was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, she would have received her doses about three years ago! She cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.
Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination. Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.
The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.
Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.
