GeForce Product Manager Justin Walker briefed us on both cards in an exclusive pre-launch briefing, which we prepared for you here, including a short Q&A session :
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX SUPER Cards
NVIDIA announced two models, both using the same NVIDIA TU116-300 GPU, which powers the GTX 1660.
They promise to offer a significant performance boost over existing Turing-based GTX cards, with these changes :
- GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER : 75% faster GDDR6 memory
- GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER : 16 more CUDA cores, higher clock speeds, and 50% faster GDDR6 memory
