Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Requirement
From 1 December 2023 onwards, the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) requires foreign visitors to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia.
The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) replaces the physical white arrival card that foreign visitors usually complete before or on arrival in Malaysia.
This new rule applies to all foreign visitors, except:
people transiting / transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance,
Malaysian Permanent Resident, and
Malaysian Automated Clearance System (MACS) holders
As an added benefit, foreign visitors from 10 countries can register their fingerprint at the immigration country, and will thereafter be able to use the Autogate (Egate) at Malaysian airports and other ports of entry to quickly get through immigration!

But please note that the MDAC is not a visa. Neither is it an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) that some countries use to pre-register visitors for multiple entries.
All foreign visitors (except those who were explicitly exempted above) will need to register for the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) for the first time.

On arrival in Malaysia, you will need to enroll and verify your passport manually at the Malaysian Immigration Department counter.
After that manual enrolment, you will be allowed to use the Egate autogate system when you depart Malaysia.

On subsequent visits, foreign visitors will need to:

As you can see, the new Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) does more than just eliminate waste and improve efficiency through digital transformation of the physical arrival card. It also streamlines the immigration process for foreign visitors, and allows some of them to breeze through using the Egate system!
But again – please note that you can only submit the MDAC within 3 days of your trip, and this includes the date of submission.

People are sharing an article by The Epoch Times which claims or suggests that COVID-19 vaccines did not save lives, but instead, resulted in 17 million deaths in 17 countries!

Researchers Find COVID Vaccines Causally Linked to Increased Mortality, Estimate 17 Million Deaths
Data suggest COVID-19 vaccines haven’t saved lives, but instead, have resulted in 17 million deaths and increased all-cause mortality in 17 countries.
A new scientific report challenges the idea that COVID-19 vaccines have prevented deaths after researchers assessed all-cause mortality in 17 countries and found COVID-19 vaccines did not have any beneficial effect on reducing mortality. Instead, researchers found that unprecedented peaks in high all-cause mortality in each country—especially among the elderly population when COVID-19 vaccines were deployed—coincided with the rollout of third and fourth booster doses.
The report, published Sept. 17 by Correlation Research in the Public Interest (pdf) (not yet peer-reviewed), quantified the vaccine-dose fatality rate (vDFR) for all ages—which is the ratio of inferred vaccine-induced deaths to vaccine doses delivered in a given population. After analyzing mortality data, the researchers calculated a mean all-ages fatal toxicity by injection of vDFR of one death per 800 injections across all ages and countries. This equates to 17 million COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths worldwide from 13.25 billion injections as of Sept. 2, 2023.”This would correspond to a mass iatrogenic event that killed (0.213 ± 0.006) % of the world population (1 death per 470 living persons, in less than 3 years), and did not measurably prevent any deaths,” the authors said. The overall risk of death induced by COVID-19 vaccines is 1,000 times greater than previously reported in data from clinical trials, adverse event monitoring, and cause-of-death statistics obtained from death certificates.
All-cause mortality is the death rate from all causes of death for a population in a specific time period. This is the most reliable data for detecting and epidemiologically characterizing events driving death and for measuring the population-level impact of any surge or collapse in deaths from any cause.
“All-cause mortality is a good feature to use in statistical medical analyses since there is no ambiguity in whether someone has died or not,” Stephanie Seneff, a senior research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), told The Epoch Times in an email. “It is highly disturbing that these authors have found a consistent trend among seventeen countries showing a significant increase in all-cause mortality coinciding with extensive COVID vaccine rollout. Their estimate of one death for every 800 injections globally is alarming.”
Ms. Seneff said her investigations into potential mechanisms of vaccine injury have led her to believe that it is plausible that these injections are “extremely toxic” and should not have been approved by regulatory agencies.
Key findings from the 180-page report include: In all countries included in the analysis, all-cause mortality increased when COVID-19 vaccines were deployed.
Nine of 17 countries had no detectable excess deaths following the World Health Organization’s March 11, 2020, declaration of the pandemic until the beginning of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
Unprecedented peaks in all-cause mortality were observed in January and February 2022, during the summer season of Southern Hemisphere countries coinciding with or following the rollout of boosters in 15 of 17 countries studied.
Excess all-cause mortality during the vaccination period beginning January 2021 was 1.74 million deaths, or one death per 800 injections, in the 17 countries studied.
The vDFR increased exponentially with age, reaching almost 5 percent among those 90 years and older who received a fourth vaccine dose.
“There is no evidence in the hard data of all-cause mortality of a beneficial effect from the COVID-19 vaccine rollouts. No lives were saved,” Denis Rancourt, co-director of Correlation Research in the Public Interest with a doctorate in physics, told The Epoch Times in an email. “On the contrary, the evidence can be understood in terms of being subjected to a toxic substance. The risk of death per injection increases exponentially with age. The policy of prioritizing the elderly for injection must be ended immediately.”
No Evidence COVID-19 Vaccines Caused 17 Million Deaths!
In this article, I will go through some of their points, and show you what the facts really are!
Fact #1 : It Was A Self-Published Report
First, let’s start by pointing out that the paper in question (PDF download) is not a published scientific report, but a self-published report by Correlation Research in the Public Interest.
As far as we can tell, it has not been submitted to any scientific or medical journal for publication. Even if a scientific report has not been peer-reviewed, it would be available as a pre-print.
Fact #2 : It Has Not Been Peer-Reviewed
There is also no indication that this report has undergone even the basic peer review process. In fact, The Epoch Times confirmed this at the end of their very long article.
It’s important to note the scientific report has not yet been peer-reviewed. Articles that are ultimately accepted by peer review are often revised prior to publication, indicating potential for improvement.
In other words – subject matter experts have yet to inspect their data and findings, never mind verify and authenticate them. Perhaps this should have been mentioned right from the start?
Fact #3 : World Mortality Dataset Covers 103-124 Countries
The World Mortality Dataset (WMD) is a public database maintained by two researchers – Ariel Kaplinsky and Dmitry Kobak, that has been tracking the mortality rates of 103 countries since January 2021. They later expanded their data to cover 124 countries.
It is peculiar that Correlation Research in the Public Interest would focus only on 17 countries, out of 103-124 countries in the World Mortality Dataset. Why not look at ALL countries covered by the WMD data?
The World Mortality Dataset is a big and critical tool for tracking all cause mortality for many countries around the world. However, it is ultimately just a database of all-cause mortality.
There is no way it can be used to demonstrate the causality of any particular cause of death. After all, it only tracks all-cause mortality! It doesn’t differentiate between death from a car accident or a fall, from death from COVID-19, or death from a vaccine injury.
Hence, if you go through the long Correlation Research report (180 pages!!), you don’t see an actual causal link between those spikes in deaths, and COVID-19 vaccines (or any other potential cause of death).
Fact #5 : Eurostat Data Shows Vaccination Reduced Excess Mortality
Perhaps the reason why the European countries were left out of this Correlation Research report is because the Eurostat data showed a strong correlation between high COVID-19 vaccination rates and low excess mortality.
In this chart provided by @dobssi, you can see that the 2021 excess mortality is much lower in countries with high vaccination rates, than countries with low vaccination rates.
Interestingly, two of those highly-vaccinated countries are Australia and New Zealand, both of which had low excess mortality rates in 2021.
The Eurostats data appear to show that Australia has only a small spike in excess death, while New Zealand actually had LOWER excess death after vaccinating its population. Imagine that…
Sure, the report claims that they looked at 17 equatorial and Southern Hemisphere countries because they have “no summer and winter seasons”, so there won’t be “seasonal variations” in their mortality patterns.
But the truth is – countries in equatorial and southern hemispheres have at least two seasons, instead of four seasons typically seen in the Northern Hemisphere.
Take Thailand, for example – a tropical country that evokes images of sandy beaches and warm weather. Well, Thailand actually has three seasons:
a wet season that runs from May to October,
a cool season that runs from November to February, and
a hot season that runs from March May
Its capital, Bangkok, itself experiences wide variations in temperature throughout the year – from as low as 21°C in the winter, to as high as 37°C in the summer.
Fact #7 : Those Countries Have Different Vaccination Rates
Other than their proximity to the equator – how does that affect the SARS-CoV-2 virus or the COVID-19 vaccine?? – it is hard to understand why those 17 countries were chosen out of 103-124 countries in the World Mortality Dataset. Especially when they have different vaccination rates.
Yes, the report states that these countries comprise 9.1% of the global population and 10.3% of all COVID-19 vaccine injections. That gives us the impression that they are all highly-vaccinated countries.
That’s really not the case. These countries have very different vaccination rates, ranging from 44% to 97%!

If they did not select those countries for their high vaccination rate, then why choose those countries and not the dozens of other countries located near the equator?
Why not pick large countries like Indonesia or India? Why not pick small countries like Brunei or Maldives? Why pick South Africa when there are many other African countries much closer to the equator?
Did they cherry-pick those countries because their data fitted the narrative, or was it something else?
Fact #8 : World Mortality Dataset Study Identified COVID-19 As Cause
The two researchers who maintained the World Mortality Dataset (WMD) actually published an actual peer-reviewed study in the eLife journal, on 30 June 2021.
Unlike this Correlation Research report, this is an actual peer-reviewed study, published in a journal and the NIH National Library of Medicine. It was also written by the two people who knows the WMD database best – the very people maintaining and updating it!
Both Ariel Kaplinsky and Dmitry Kobak used their WMD data to look at the impact of COVID-19 on the all-cause mortality from 103 countries, and here was what they found:
We found that in several worst-affected countries (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico) the excess mortality was above 50% of the expected annual mortality (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico) or above 400 excess deaths per 100,000 population (Peru, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia). At the same time, in several other countries (e.g. Australia and New Zealand) mortality during the pandemic was below the usual level, presumably due to social distancing measures decreasing the non-COVID infectious mortality
Summing up the excess mortality estimates across all countries in our dataset gives 4.0 million excess deaths. In contrast, summing up the official COVID-19 death counts gives 2.9 million deaths, corresponding to the global undercount ratio of 1.4.
In other words – many people were likely being killed by COVID-19 infections, which appear to be undercounted by some 40%.

Prince William is caught seducing a woman who was close friend of Meghan Markle in New Zealand
In a masterstroke, 40-year-old Prince William has just dealt a blow to Meghan Markle’s heart by assigning a seat on the board of one of his favorite organizations to 42-year-old Jacinda Ardern, the former prime minister of New Zealand, a former friend of the Sussex couple.
The former top New Zealander was a close friend of Meghan Markle‘s until the Sussexes spilled their confidences in the Netflix documentary. From then on, Ardern began to quickly distance herself from the couple, as she did not share either the form or substance of their comments or their way of involving her in the controversy.
Ardern’s anger with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dates back to the Netflix Sussex documentary, when the former prime minister appeared in an interview she had been given more than two years ago for a collaboration between the Mandela Foundation, Blackwell & Ruth and Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions.
The New Zealand celebrity considered that her appearance was out of context and that PrinceHarry and Meghan Markle had used her image to try to give more credibility to the documentary. That situation marked Ardern’s estrangement and annoyance towards the couple.
Her resignation as prime minister of New Zealand last January due to personal reasons and emotional exhaustion, was the precise opportunity for Prince William to take advantage of the situation and deliver the death blow to the Sussex’s relationship with the political leader who guided the destinies of the Oceanic country.
The prince was captured having a seductive conversation with the woman to get her included in the crown. The former prime minister has just been appointed to the board of directors of the awards with which the Prince of Wales annually distinguishes those who promote environmental activities and care for the planet.
Truth : Prince William Was NOT Caught Seducing Jacinda Ardern!
This is yet another example of celebrity FAKE NEWS created to generate page views, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : That Is An Old Photo
First, let me just point out that the photo that Music Mundial used to “prove” that Prince William was recently caught seducing Jacinda Ardern is almost 4 years old!
It was taken on Thursday, 25 April 2019 at the ANZAC commemorations in New Zealand, just after the Christchurch mosque attacks.
Fact #2 : The Photo Was Cropped
The photo appears to have been cropped to convey the perception that Prince William was having an intimate moment with Jacinda Ardern.
The actual photo was taken by Australian Associated Press photographer, David Rowlands, and is larger – showing them with other people right next to them.
Fact #3 : Prince William Was Not Seducing Jacinda Ardern
Music Mundial claims that Prince William was “captured having a seductive conversation” with Jacinda Ardern.
The truth is – Jacinda Ardern greeted Prince William with a traditional Māori hongi (nose press) when he arrived to attend a service in Auckland. They then travelled to Christchurch to meet with survivors of the two mosque attacks.
Prince William didn’t just share the intimate hongi with Jacinda Ardern. He also greeted other people with the hongi, including this former ANZAC serviceman.
Fact #4 : No Evidence Jacinda Ardern + Meghan Markle Are Close Friends
There is no basis for the claim that Jacinda Ardern and Meghan Markle are close friends.
Jacinda Ardern first met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they toured New Zealand in 2018, and appeared to have forged a friendship, or at least, an appreciated of one another.
They then met on several occasions, including a private meeting at Kensington Palace in 2019. However, there is no evidence that they are particularly “close friends”.
In fact, when Harry and Meghan released their “Live to Lead” Netflix docuseries in December 2022, the New Jacinda Ardern distanced herself from their project, to the extent of issuing a statement that she was not aware of their involvement when her interview was shot.
Fact #5 : Jacinda Ardern Advised Prince William Before He Founded Earthshot Prize
There is no evidence that Prince William appointed Jacinda Ardern to the board of trustees for his Earthshot Prize charity, in order to drive her away from Meghan Markle.
After all, Jacinda Ardern already appeared to have distanced herself from Harry and Meghan after they released their Netflix docuseries in December 2022.
In fact, Prince William pointed out that she was well-suited to the board of trustees, as she was one of the first people he spoke to, and it was her advice and encouragement that led him to establish the charity.

Australia just announced that it would join other Western countries in banning TikTok on official devices!
Australia To Ban TikTok On Official Devices!
On 4 April 2023, Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus announced that Australia will ban TikTok on official devices, “as soon as practicable“.
Dreyfus said that the decision was taken “after receiving advice from intelligence and security agencies“.
The direction will come into effect as soon as practicable. Exemptions will only be granted on a case-by-case basis and with appropriate security mitigations in place.
Australia also made changes to its Protective Security Police Framework (PSPF), noting that TikTok poses a security threat due to its data collection practices.
The TikTok application poses significant security and privacy risks to non-corporate Commonwealth entities arising from an extensive collection of user data and exposure to extrajudicial directions from a foreign government that conflicts with Australian law.
The Australian government, however, said that it will allow the use of TikTok for “a legitimate business reason”,. and on a separate”standalone device”. This move came after a security review of social media apps, including TikTok, was submitted to the Australian government last month.
Before this announcement, over half of all Australian federal government agencies had already banned TikTok on official devices. With this decision, the ban is applied consistently across the Australian government and brings Australia in line with New Zealand, and other Five Eyes member countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, in banning TikTok on official devices. Norway, the European Parliament and NATO also banned TikTok on official devices.
TikTok Calls Decision Driven By Politics, Not Fact
Before the ban of TikTok on government devices was announced, TikTok Australia and New Zealand Lee Hunter said that the decision was “driven by politics, not fact”.
There is no evidence to suggest that TikTok is in any way a security risk to Australians and should not be treated differently to other social media platforms.
Our millions of Australian users deserve a government which makes decisions based upon facts and who treats all businesses fairly, regardless of country of origin.
TikTok maintains that there is no evidence to suggest that its app posed a security risk.
In June 2022, TikTok was accused of allowing its engineers in Beijing repeatedly access private user data outside of China! Two years earlier – in June 2020, TikTok was even caught spying on what its users typed in other apps, and accused of being malware.
However, there has been no concrete evidence that TikTok contained the kind of sophisticated malware that was recently discovered in the popular Chinese app, Pinduoduo.

Truth : Sam Neill Did Not Develop Blood Cancer From COVID-19 Vaccine!

Fact #1 : Sam Neill Was Diagnosed With Lymphoma In 2022
Sir Sam Neill (born Nigel John Dermot Neill on 14 September 1947) revealed that he was diagnosed with stage three blood cancer in an interview with The Guardian on 17 March 2023.
He noticed that he had swollen glands while he was in Los Angeles on a publicity tour for his movie, Jurassic World Dominion. He was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and underwent chemotherapy in March 2022.
That was when he decided to write his memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This?, in which he started with a candid look at his own mortality:
The thing is, I’m crook. Possibly dying. I may have to speed this up.
Fact #2 : Sam Neill Is Now In Remission
Unfortunately, the first round of chemotherapy did not work, and things were looking grim for the New Zealander. A new and very expensive chemotherapy drug was then proposed.
This new chemotherapy drug is likely on clinical trial, which is why Sam Neill signed a contract with the unnamed drug company to receive it, and that the treatment would then become free if he was still alive after four months. He even joked about it in the interview:
Have you noticed I have a slight look of lab rat about me?
At that time, Sam Neill was the only person in New South Wales, Australia, to have this treatment, and when he moved back to New Zealand, he was the only person in the country to be on it.
Fortunately, this new chemotherapy drug worked, and Sam Neill is currently in remission. However, he must continue to have the monthly treatment for the rest of his life, and endure feeling “shithouse” for two days after each treatment when he doesn’t feel like eating.

Fact #3 : AITL Is Associated With Epstein-Barr Virus
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a rare and aggressive form of peripheral T-cell lymphoma – a type of blood cancer which mostly affects middle-aged or elderly patients. Sam Neill was 74 years old when he was diagnosed with AITL, which isn’t unusual.
But more importantly, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma is highly associated with latent Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection.
After getting an EBV infection, the virus remains in your body but becomes latent (inactive), and may reactivate later in life. In rare cases, it appears that the latent EBV infections can reactivate and trigger angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
Biopsies of AITL patients were shown to have EBV genomes in the tumour cells. In some cases, people with acute Epstein-Barr virus infections were found to have developed AITL!
AITL is, however, not associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19. It is certainly not associated with any COVID-19 vaccine, whether it uses mRNA or more traditional vaccine technologies.
Fact #4 : Sam Neill Is Likely Fully-Vaccinated
Sam Neill did not publicly reveal his vaccination status, but he is likely fully-vaccinated and boosted too, as he has always been supportive of measures to protect against COVID-19, including vaccines.
As far back as February 2021, he spoke out against antivaxxers, and said that “salvation lies in vaccinations”.
He also travelled to the United States and Australia, where it is mandatory for foreign travellers to be fully-vaccinated.

Claim : 9 Countries Issued Travel Warning On US Violence!
The Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛) and pro-CCP netizens are now promoting articles claiming that nine countries just issued travel warnings against the US because of the rising violence there!
Even Chinese state propaganda outlet Global Times wrote about these new travel warnings of US violence. Here’s an excerpt:
As the conflict between Americans with different political demands becomes increasingly violent, some countries close to the US have expressed concerns about the safety of their citizens in the US, reflecting their growing lack of confidence in Washington’s political system and governance capability.
A CNN report on Sunday observed the rare phenomenon that nine countries – Australia, New Zealand, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and Israel – have issued various levels of travel warnings against the US due to increasing violence in the country.
It is worth noting that these nations are all US neighbors or closest allies that know the country quite well and have relatively frequent and close exchanges with it. Therefore, it says a lot about how chaotic US society is when they warn their citizens about the risks of traveling to the US.
The fact that these countries worry about violence, especially gun violence, seriously put into question the stability of US society.
The root cause behind such chaos is that Washington’s political system, especially the electoral system – the core of the so-called US democratic framework – is no longer effective in alleviating the problems through governance. More and more people are starting to realize that no matter how many elections are held, almost no social issues in the US can be solved.
Elections have failed to improve the lives of US citizens, especially those who are already dissatisfied with society. With no confidence in elections, these people can easily seek to use violence to vent their anger and discontent in an indiscriminate way that threatens the lives of innocent people.
In that case, it should not be surprising if more of US’ close friends upgrade warnings to their citizens about traveling to the US. Perhaps even helmets and bullet-proof vests will soon become suggested must-have items to those who want to visit the country.
Truth : Those Travel Warnings On US Violence Are Not New!
This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛), and pro-CCP netizens.
In the following sections, I will share with you what exactly did those nine countries advise, and show you why they are nothing more than common sense advice.
Yes, the US has a gun violence problem, but those nine countries did not advise its citizens against travelling to the US.
Fact #1 : CNN Report Was Not Referring To New Travel Advisories
The CNN report that Global Times and other media outlets referred to was not a “news report”, but a travel article called “What travel warnings do other nations give their citizens about US violence?”
Anyone who reads the article would have noted that the writer, Forrest Brown, did not state that these travel advisories were new.
He was writing to show the people of America what other countries think of them, and was not specifically
American travelers — at least those of the cautious variety — might be familiar with the US State Department’s travel advisories.
The agency monitors the world for potential trouble and issues warnings from “Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions” to “Level 4: Do Not Travel,” alerting would-be visitors to terrorism threats, war, arbitrary enforcement of local laws, high crime rates and other personal security issues.
But have you ever wondered how other countries’ governments caution their citizens about coming to the United States? What kind of reputation does America have?
Fact #2 : Australia Advised Normal Safety Precautions
Australia did not change its travel advisory for the US, which remains at “Exercise normal safety precautions in the United States of America“. Here are its advice with regard to crime:
Avoid areas where demonstrations and protests are occurring due to the potential for unrest and violence. Monitor the media for information and updates. Follow the instructions of local authorities, and abide by any curfews in place.
Violent crime is more common than in Australia. Gun crime is also prevalent. If you live in the US, learn active shooter drills.
Thieves target travellers. Take care in crowded areas and on public transport. Conceal your valuables, and don’t leave items unattended in your car.
There is a heightened risk of terrorist attacks in the US. Be alert, particularly in public places and at events.
Fact #3 : Canada Advised Normal Security Precautions
Canada also did not change its travel advisory for the US, which remains at “Take normal security precautions“. Here are its advice with regard to crime:
Criminal incidents associated with drug trafficking are more frequent at the border with Mexico, in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.
Petty crime, such as pickpocketing and purse snatching, occurs, particularly in urban centres and tourist locations.
Within large urban areas, violent crime more commonly occurs in poor neighbourhoods, particularly from dusk to dawn. It often involves intoxication.
Incidents of violent crime are mainly carried out by gangs or members of organized crime groups but may also be perpetrated by lone individuals. Although violent crime rarely affects tourists.
The rate of firearm possession in the US is high. It’s legal in many states for US citizens to openly carry firearms in public.
Incidences of mass shootings occur, resulting most often in casualties. Although tourists are rarely involved, there is a risk of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Fact #4 : UK Advised Sensible Precautions
UK did not appear to change its travel advisory for crime in the US since 9 June 2022, where it asked people to take “sensible precautions”:
Take sensible precautions to protect yourself and your property against petty crime.
Violent crime, including gun crime, rarely involves tourists, but you should take care when travelling in unfamiliar areas. Avoid walking through less travelled areas alone, especially at night.
Incidents of mass shooting can occur, but account for a very small percentage of homicide deaths.
Crime associated with the illegal drugs trade is a major issue in Mexican states bordering Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.
Fact #5 : Israel Says There Is No Travel Threat
Israel did not change its travel advisory for the US, which remains at Threat Level 01 (No Travel Threat). It only asked that its citizens take “basic precautionary measures”.
Fact #6 : France Calls US Among The Safest Countries To Visit
France did not change its travel advisory for the US. In fact, it called “the United States of America is among the safest countries” to visit.
It does, however, tells its citizens to be wary of gun violence and crimes in very specific locations like :
Boston : gun violence and crime in certain localised areas.
New York : petty and medium crime, as well as assaults in the subway
Washington : ordinary crimes like thefts and assaults at night
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta : certain areas to be avoided at night
New Orleans : many cases of pickpocketing and assaults
Florida : petty crime in tourist areas
Fact #7 : Germany Did Not Change Its Travel Advisory On US Crime
Germany did not change its travel advisory on US crime recently, only on “entry by land via Canada or Mexico”. It tells its citizens to be wary of gun violence and common crimes:
Pickpocketing, muggings and car break-ins occur in many metropolitan areas in the United States, but the danger varies greatly depending on the town and even within a large city depending on the neighborhood.
In poorer neighborhoods, risks for travelers increase, especially after dark, as well as in some tourist areas and on public transport. Shop robberies have increased noticeably in some cities in recent months.
It is easy to obtain guns in the United States , leading to increased use of firearms and occasional killing sprees. The number of arms and ammunition purchases has increased significantly during the COVID-19 crisis.
Fact #8 : Mexico Does Not Even Have Travel Advisory For US!
Anyone who read the CNN article would have known that Mexico (currently) does not have any travel advisory for the US. The CNN research team had to dig up a May 2021 travel advisory, which stated that:
historical racial and ethnic tension, including opposition to immigration, have led to attacks by violent extremist groups
citizens are advised to avoid large crowds, and should always carry a copy of their Mexican passport and an official photo ID
Fact #8 : Japan Warns Its Citizens About Gun Crime
As Japan is a gun-free nation, its government warned its citizens visiting the US that “one of the main security concerns in the United States is gun crime“, with advice on how to get out of an active shooter situation:
Find security exits in a new place and have an evacuation plan
Escape regardless of whether others agree or not
Hide in a room and barricade the door using heavy furniture
Keep quiet and mute cell phones
Fact #9 : New Zealand Was Worried About Terrorism Threat
New Zealand did not change its travel advisory on US crime for quite a long time, with the threat level remaining at Level 2 of 4 (Exercise increased caution), due to the “threat of terrorism”.
When it comes to crime, it offered the same common sense advice as other countries:
Petty crime such as theft and pickpocketing can occur, particularly in urban centres, tourist locations and on public transport.New Zealanders should stay alert to their surroundings, stay vigilant on public transport and avoid leaving belongings unattended, including in rental vehicles.
You should avoid crossing the border by car into Mexico from Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. There have been increased incidents of crime associated with drug trading.
There is a higher incidence of violent crime and firearm possession than in New Zealand. In many states, it is legal for United States citizens to openly carry firearms in public. However, crime rates vary considerably across cities and suburbs and incidents rarely involve tourists. New Zealanders should take care when travelling in unfamiliar areas.
Active shooter incidents occur in the United States.

Dell 40-Nation Survey : Employees Are Greatest Asset!
After two years of accelerated digital transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic, 64% of IT leaders in Malaysia (APJ: 45%; Global: 50%) say their organisations know what it takes to digitally transform a workforce.
But after such rapid change, many employees now face the challenge of maintaining the pace. What’s more, more than two-thirds of the 10,500 respondents believe that their organisations are not able to engage with their employees properly when planning transformation programs.
The results suggest that after 2 years rapid transformation, businesses and their workforce are in need of time to recharge, reflect and refine before embarking on new or iterating projects.
The research also highlights how there is still the danger os digital transformation stalling, as 68% of Malaysian respondents (APJ: 72%; Global: 64%) believe that their employees’ resistance to change can lead to failure.
Over half or 57% of Malaysian respondents (APJ: 62%; Global: 53%) fear that they will be shut-out of the rapidly-evolving digital world due to a lack of people with the right authority or vision to capitalise on opportunities offered by new technologies, like as-a-Service models.
Most organisations around the world – including Malaysia – realise the need to digitally transform, but they find digital transformation hard, and their people don’t always embrace change.
This human-technology friction is only compounded by the pandemic and what we end up with is businesses that are more digitally resilient, but many of their people are exhausted.
Today, businesses aspiring for sustainable success need to be asking themselves how they can thoughtfully and purposefully help their people navigate further change.

Dell and independent behavioural experts also studied survey respondents’ appetite for digital change, and they found that only 8% of the Malaysian workforce – from senior business leaders to IT decision-makers and staff – are pursuing modernisation projects (APJ: 7%; Global: 10%).

Dell 40-Nation Survey : The Way Forward
The Dell study also charts a way forward for businesses to focus on keeping pace with digital transformation:
1. Connectivity
Businesses performed tremendous feats to connect, collaborate, and conduct business online during the pandemic, but the job is not done.
Around 76% of Malaysian respondents say they need their organisations to provide the necessary tools and infrastructure to work anywhere (along with the autonomy to choose their preferred working pattern) (APJ: 78%; Global: 72%).
In fact, they worry their employees might be left behind because they do not have the right technology to shift to a highly distributed model (where work and compute are not tied to a central place, but occur everywhere).
Technology alone is not enough. Businesses also need to make work equitable for employees with different needs, interests, and responsibilities, including the 82% Malaysian employees (APJ: 78; Global: 76%) that would like their organisation to do any of the following:
Clearly define their ongoing commitment to flexible work arrangements and the practicalities of making it work – Malaysia: 54% (APJ: 46%; Global: 40%)
Equip leaders to effectively and equitably manage remote teams – Malaysia: 41% (APJ: 42%; Global: 42%)
Empower employees to choose their preferred working pattern and provide the necessary tools / infrastructure – Malaysia: 49% (APJ: 47%; Global: 44%)
Every employee’s time is limited and there are now too few qualified candidates for open roles. To address these limitations, businesses can delegate repetitive tasks to automated processes and free-up employees to focus on higher-value work.
At present, 19% of Malaysian respondents say that their work is stimulating and not repetitive (APJ: 32%; Global: 37%). With the opportunity to automate more repetitive tasks, 81% of Malaysian respondents would look forward to learning new, sought-after skills and technologies, like leadership skills, courses in machine learning, or focusing on more strategic opportunities to elevate their role (APJ: 74%; Global; 69%).
However, businesses with limited budgets are concerned they will not be able to advance their workforce and compete.
3. Empathy
At their heart, businesses must builda culture, modelled by empathetic leaders, that treats people as their greatest source of creativity and value.
The research shows there is still work to do and empathy has to inform decision making – from simplifying technology for approximately half (Malaysia: 51%; APJ: 52%; Global: 49%) who often feel overwhelmed by complex technologies, to tailoring change programs to individuals’ skills (Malaysia: 54%; APJ: 50%; Global: 41%;) of employees believe their leaders do this).
To find out how things have changed after two years of accelerated digital transformation, Dell Technologies conducted a survey across 40+ countries from all regions of the world, from August to October 2021.
Fieldwork was conducted by Vanson Bourne, and involved 10,500 senior business decision-makers, IT decision-makers and knowledge workers (employees involved in digital transformation).
In Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), 2,900 respondents across 11 locations were surveyed. The APJ locations include Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Malaysia, 200 number of respondents were surveyed.
On 22 September 2022, Dell Technologies presented their key findings at the Dell Technologies Forum 2022, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

A 26 year-old man in New Zealand recently died from myocarditis, likely due to his COVID-19 vaccination two weeks ago.
The press have been excitedly reporting on this, with antivaxxers eagerly sharing the news while calling for COVID-19 vaccination to cease immediately.
Is his death evidence that the Pfizer vaccine, or COVID-19 vaccination, is dangerous? Let’s find out…
NZ Man’s Death From Pfizer Vaccine Myocarditis Explained!
First, let’s consider the facts of the case.
The man developed myocarditis from his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
He did not seek medical advice / treatment for his symptoms.
He died within two weeks.
Myocarditis Is Known Adverse Event For mRNA Vaccines
Myocarditis is the INFLAMMATION of the heart muscle (myocarditis) or outer lining of the heart (pericarditis), causing chest pain, shortness of breath or feelings of a pounding or fast-beating heart.
It is a known adverse effect of the mRNA vaccines that is associated mostly with young males 30 years and younger.
Myocarditis Is Treatable, But He Did Not Seek Treatment
Vaccine-induced myocarditis is generally mild, and most will respond well to medicine and rest, and recover completely. They can usually return to normal daily activities once their symptoms improve / resolve.
It is unknown why the man did not seek medical help, because he would have developed symptoms like :
chest pain
shortness of breath
heart palpitations / pounding heart
If you received an mRNA vaccine and develop such symptoms, please seek medical attention right away.
Vaccines Reduce Risk Of COVID-19 Myocarditis
The risk of developing myocarditis is about 1 case for every 17,400 doses administered.
That sounds like a relatively high risk, but what you may not realise is that – COVID-19 causes 4X to 6X more cases of myocarditis than vaccines.
A recent study published in Nature Medicine looked at the myocarditis risk of 38.6 million vaccinated people in England, and found that :
mRNA vaccines only increased risk of myocarditis in people younger than 40.
the first dose of Pfizer vaccine increased myocarditis risk by 6 out of 1 million people.
the second dose of Pfizer vaccine increased myocarditis risk by 10 out of 1 million people.
COVID-19 infection increased myocarditis risk by 40 out of 1 million people.
COVID-19 infection also increased risk of pericarditis, not seen in any of the 3 vaccines.
In other words, you actually reduce your risk of getting myocarditis by getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
Because vaccine-induced myocarditis is symptomatic, people generally seek medical attention and get treated, so deaths are rare.
In New Zealand, only two deaths have been linked to vaccine-induced myocarditis, including this case involving the 26 year-old man who did not seek treatment.
As of 19 December 2021, New Zealand administered just over 8 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, with 3.8 million people fully-vaccinated.
Even if we include a third possible case involving a 13 year-old boy that is still under investigation, that’s a mortality rate of just 1 out of 2.67 million doses administered, or just 0.0000375%.
You Are More Likely To Die From COVID-19, Than Myocarditis
I should also point out that you are FAR more likely to die from COVID-19, than vaccine-induced myocarditis.
COVID-19 has an average mortality rate of 2.3%. Assuming 3.8 million New Zealanders were not fully-vaccinated, but got infected with COVID-19 instead, approximately 87,400 of them would have died.
In other words, you are 61,333X more likely to die from a COVID-19 infection, than from vaccine-induced myocarditis.
Obviously, the benefits of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine far outweighs the risks of myocarditis.

A WhatsApp message linking to a Kim Iversen video posted on 17 March 2021 has gone viral on WhatsApp, with this alarming warning :
The truth is out. Pfizer Executive admits that they their vaccine is not designed to end the pandemic but to turn it into an endemic so that the demand of their vaccines will continue forever and give them the opportunity to make a lot of money selling their vaccine. Once the pandemic becomes an endemic, just like the flu, all those who have already been vaccinated will need to continue to receive a booster every year or so.
Now that you are up to speed, let’s see what the facts really are!
Pfizer Vaccine Designed To Make COVID-19 Endemic? Bullshit!
We watched the Kim Iversen episode where she made those claims, so you wouldn’t have to.
Now, let’s address the claims in the viral message and her video one by one, so you have the FACTS.
Claim #1 : Pfizer Caught Saying COVID-19 Will Turn Endemic
Verdict : FALSE
Caught? Pfizer CFO and Executive VP of Global Supply, Frank A. D’Amelio openly said this in a virtual global healthcare conference, and it was reported publicly.
The company anticipates a “significant opportunity” for its vaccine “from a demand perspective” and “from a pricing perspective” as it shifts “from pandemic to endemic”.
How is that the definition of “caught” when he publicly made those comments?
That’s just Kim Iversen trying to hoodwink you into thinking that there is something nefarious afoot.
The truth is scientists across the world believe that SARS-CoV-2 will likely become an endemic virus, as this Nature survey from February 2021 shows.
Claim #2 : Pfizer Excited COVID-19 Will Turn Endemic
Verdict : FALSE
Kim Iversen also claimed that Pfizer is excited that COVID-19 will turn endemic.
Nowhere in the article (which you can read here) was it mentioned that Pfizer executives were excited about the pandemic becoming an endemic situation.
The truth is he was merely telling an analyst that there is an opportunity for Pfizer to increase their vaccine prices as demand drops when COVID-19 pandemic shifts into an endemic situation.
And while Kim Iversen makes it sound like an endemic situation is what Pfizer is aiming for, it is not something any pharmaceutical company is capable of.
The truth is our refusal to quickly vaccinate ourselves will be the reason why COVID-19 could end up becoming endemic.
Claim #3 : Pfizer COMIRNATY Was Developed At The Behest Of The US Government
Verdict : FALSE
Kim Iversen claimed that the Pfizer COMIRNATY (BNT162b2) vaccine was developed at the behest of the US government.
The truth is the BNT162b2 vaccine was developed by BioNTech SE – a German company, long before the Trump Administration came up with Operation Warp Speed.
And here is the zinger – Pfizer and BioNTech declined to join Operation Warp Speed, and BioNTech was funded by the German government to a tune of $445 million.
The BionTech COMIRNATY vaccine was really created in Germany by Germans of Turkish descent, and funded by German money. The US government had ZERO involvement.

Claim #4 : Big Pharma Makes MORE Money In COVID-19 Endemic
Verdict : FALSE
At around the 5:53 mark, Kim claimed that Big Pharma hopes that COVID-19 doesn’t end, so that they can make money off these vaccines.
By preventing COVID-19 using vaccines, Big Pharma actually loses out on a lot of money that could be made treating patients with COVID-19.
Think of how much money we already spent on ventilators, and expensive drugs with very limited effect like baricitinib and remdesivir.
Big Pharma stands to make MORE MONEY if vaccines did not exist, or were delayed.
She also does not understand that there are far fewer infections in an endemic.
So yes, Big Pharma may make more money from their vaccines, but they will lose a lot more money that could have been made from treating COVID-19.
Claim #5 : Big Pharma Has No Desire To Cure COVID-19
Verdict : FALSE
In a rambling monologue, that goes off-the-rail at certain points, Kim claimed at around the 5:55 mark that Big Pharma has no desire to cure COVID-19, AIDS, and cancer.
She should stop talking about medicine since she knows so little about it.
Vaccines are NEVER designed to cure a disease. They are designed to PREVENT the disease from occurring in the first place.
That is why we take the COVID-19 vaccine before we get it, instead of after – so we have a better chance of preventing it!
Claim #6 : Big Pharma Didn’t Even Try To End COVID-19
Verdict : FALSE
In her rambling monologue, Kim then asked, did Big Pharma even try to end COVID-19?
Seriously? Did she not read the news, and see how many vaccine candidates were developed? Or how many potential therapeutics were investigated?
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were developed and certified for use in less than a year after the pandemic began, and they offered 94%~95% protection against COVID-19.
Why don’t Kim tell us what SHE did to end COVID-19? What did ANYONE ELSE do to end COVID-19? Who else does she believe would be better at ending COVID-19?
Claim #7 : You Can Still Spread COVID-19 After Vaccination
Verdict : MISLEADING
Kim then claimed that those who were vaccinated must continue to wear face masks and socially distance themselves because they can still spread COVID-19.
That’s misleading because the advice was based on 3 reasons :
it was partly precautionary in nature *,
it takes weeks to build up your immunity after vaccination,
the vaccine is not 100% efficacious, so a small number of people can still get COVID-19.
* The studies had not looked into whether the vaccines can prevent transmission, so they are advising vaccinated people to maintain the same precautions, JUST IN CASE.
It makes sense to tell people to continue taking precautions until herd immunity is achieved when the vast majority (80% or higher) of the population is vaccinated.
Claim #8 : Vaccinated People Have To Double Down On Precautions
Verdict : FALSE
At around the 8:50 mark, Kim surmised that the vaccines cannot protect others, and that people have to “double down” on precautions.
That is simply NOT TRUE. Those who are vaccinated against COVID-19 do NOT have to double down on their precautions.
I think it would be instructive at this point to share this picture of Jude Law in the movie, Contagion.
Claim #9 : Falling COVID-19 Cases Not Related To Vaccine
Verdict : FALSE
At 9:25, Kim claimed that no matter what the COVID-19 vaccination rate is like, the cases are falling.
She used the example of Israel with almost 100% vaccination rate, but has the same number of cases as Portugal, which only vaccinated 10% of their population.
She conveniently neglected to mention that Portugal has been under a nationwide lockdown since 15 January 2021! Probably because she earlier mocked lockdowns as useless…
On the other hand, Israel eased lockdown restrictions THREE TIMES since 7 February 2021, and the third stage easing even opened up tourist attractions and gatherings of up to 50 people!
Claim #10 : Test Vaccine Effectiveness By Jabbing People In Southern Hemisphere
Verdict : FALSE
At the 10:20 mark, Kim Iversen tells us that the only way to test the effectiveness of these vaccines is to start jabbing people in the Southern Hemisphere.
No, Kim. You perform what’s called a randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled trial, which was what ALL certified vaccines have undergone!
CoronaVac was tested in Brazil, and Novovax NVX-CoV2373 was tested in Australia.
There are also ongoing trials of those vaccines and even Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines as they are deployed in other Southern Hemisphere countries like Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
So Kim was either being extremely ignorant, or intentionally deceptive, about what’s being done to determine vaccine effectiveness.
Claim #11 : Australia + New Zealand Have Few / No Cases Because It’s Summer!
Verdict : FALSE
Kim Iversen apparently thinks that COVID-19 spread in Australia and New Zealand is super low or zero because it’s summer over there right now!
OMFG, the stupidity of her monologue on COVID-19 in summer and winter. Many tropical countries – where it’s hot and sunny most of the year – have been hit hard by COVID-19.
New Zealand has actually secured enough Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to fully vaccinate their population.
Australia, on the other hand, is vaccinating its population with the Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines at the moment.
Claim #12 : New Zealand Stop Vaccinating Due To South African Variant
Verdict : FALSE
At 11:20, Kim claimed that New Zealand stopped vaccinating their population, because the vaccines won’t work on the South African variant.
That’s simply FALSE, because New Zealand continues to vaccinate its population using the Pfizer vaccine.
While the Pfizer vaccine appears to be less effective against the South African variant (B.1.351), it still offered “robust” protection against that variant.
She probably conflated New Zealand with South Africa, which halted their use of the AstraZeneca vaccine after a study showed “disappointing” results against the South African variant.
Claim #13 : Kim Iversen Is Not An Antivaxxer
Verdict : FALSE
Sorry, Kim, but you are an antivaxxer. You are actively telling people LIES about the COVID-19 vaccines!
You tell people that they should “know the data, know the research, know the reality“, when you yourself are either extremely IGNORANT about the data, research and reality, or are intentionally MISLEADING people about them.
Even when you talked people about your 94 year old grandmother, you point out that at her age, she isn’t concerned about “long term side effects”, suggesting that there are any.
Tell us, Kim – WHAT LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS do these vaccines have???
Claim #14 : You Have To Keep Getting The COVID-19 Vaccine
Verdict : FALSE
At 13:30, she claimed that they are saying that you have to keep getting it again and again, like the flu shot.
That is a POSSIBILITY that health officials have said, due to the fact that COVID-19 has spread so far and wide, and the fact that it’s mutating to form new variants.
However, we call it false, because that was NOT what the Pfizer executives are saying. Nowhere in that article did any Pfizer executive say that the vaccine must be “taken again and again and again”.
The truth is the SARS-CoV-2 virus has the opportunity to mutate to form new variants every time it infects someone.
So the best way to prevent mutations and an endemic situation is to VACCINATE EVERYONE as quickly as possible!
Claim #15 : COVID-19 Is Not Dangerous For Many People
Verdict : FALSE
At around the 13:50 point, she claims that like the flu, COVID-19 is not dangerous for many people. So perhaps that’s why most people feel like they don’t need the vaccine.
We should point out that as of 20 March 2021, 2.71 million people have died from COVID-19, and that number will not abate for many more months to come.
In comparison, influenza – the flu – kills between 290~650,000 people per year.
Based on those numbers, COVID-19 is, on average, at least 4.8X more likely to KILL you than the flu.
