Who Erected This NSFW Slide At A Children's Playground?!

Who Erected This NSFW Slide At A Children’s Playground?!

Who erected a NSFW slide at a children’s playground in Vancouver, Canada?

Take a look at that cheeky slide, and find out what’s really going on!

Who Erected This NSFW Slide At A Children’s Playground?!

The Internet is abuzz with a picture of a NSFW slide apparently being installed at a children’s playground in Vancouver, Canada!

People are either outraged or amused because the red slide, which resembles a penis entering a vagina, was erected in a children’s playground!

Can’t quite put my finger on it but there is something strange about this new slide at a local park

I have questions for the designer

If this is a public park, questions as well as the public officials who approved the design.

Does the kid get a cigarette afterwards? asking for a friend

Ok, this WOKE stuff is go too far. There is a Supervisor in this town that needs to be fired, right now. That design was approved by upper management.

What perv authorized this?

..what is wrong with you people…if this is legit get a parents committee together and have it removed

Apparently, NSFW Slide Is A Seth Rogen Movie Prop!

After a quick bit of sleuthing, we found out that this NSFW slide is apparently a prop for an R-rated comedy that’s being filmed in Vancouver!

Here is what we know so far….

Fact #1 : It Was Erected In Maple Ridge, British Columbia

The red slide was erected in a children’s playground in Fletcher Park, Maple Ridge, which is just outside of Vancouver.

Fact #2 : It Was A Prop For The Movie, JFC

The slide is apparently a prop for an unnamed R-rated comedy movie called JFC, which is short for Joy F*ck Club.

Fact #3 : It Is A Real Slide

Some Internet sleuths “claim” that the photo was edited, so it has to be said – this slide is REAL. It was NOT Photoshopped.

Fact #4 : It Has Already Been Removed

This prop was (obviously) erected temporarily for filming and would be removed by the 5 November 2021, which is when the British Columbia shooting is scheduled to end.

However, it appears that someone (tremby) went to check it out, and found it gone. So it was likely placed over the original metal slide for the day of the shooting and then removed.

Fact #5 : JFC Is A Seth Rogen Produced Movie

JFC is about four Asian-American women who are travelling across Asia in search of their birth mothers, and features Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu and Sabrina Wu in those roles.

The movie is being produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and directed by Adele Lim (who co-wrote Crazy Rich Asians) in her directorial debut.

We’re fully leaning into a side of Asian-ness the world doesn’t usually get to see… the messy, R-rated, thirsty AF side. – Adele Lim

Did Henry Cavill Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle?

Did Henry Cavill go to his nephew’s school to prove that Superman is really his uncle?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the FACTS really are!

Did Henry Cavill Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle?

The Internet is abuzz with this cute story of Henry Cavill going to school to help his nephew, Thomas, prove that Superman is his uncle.

Whether they are posted on Facebook, or in “viral websites”, the story generally goes along these lines, with a picture of Henry Cavill walking his nephew to school :

The day Uncle Cavill had to prove his nephew was not a liar.

Little Thomas, aged only 7, went to school dressed as Superman and the teacher asked why he was dressed like this.

“Because Superman is my uncle,” he replied.

The teacher then explained that Superman didn’t exist, but Thomas insisted, repeating numerous times that he existed, and that he was his uncle. And the kid ended up at the office…

An officer was asked to seek him, already warning about not encouraging the child to live in a fantasy world. Thomas’ mother laughed and said he was telling the truth.

As the doubt remained, she called her brother-in-law, asking him to go to school to “save” her nephew, who was radiant for all his little friends to see that he was really Superman’s nephew!

The news was confirmed in the last few hours by Cavill himself, reiterating that he had saved his nephew from a bad punishment, given his reputation for “telling lies”

Henry Cavill Did Not Help Nephew Prove Superman Is His Uncle!

As endearing as this story is, it was really fabricated from an old story from 2013.

Websites like Pledge Times just resurrected this story to “go viral”. Here are the facts…

Fact #1 : Henry Cavill Talked About It In 2013

Henry Cavill actually recounted this incident back in June 2013 in an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

So Pledge Times and all the other websites that claimed that Henry Cavill confirmed this “in the last few hours” are lying.

Fact #2 : This Incident Happened In 2011

This incident involving his nephew, Thomas, actually happened in 2011 when Henry first learned he would be playing Superman in Zack Snyder’s film.

Henry Cavill only recounted it in 2013, when he sat for his interview with Jay Leno. This was what he said :

“My nephew Thomas was so super excited… he ran to school. “

“Now keep in mind Thomas has got a great reputation for telling stories and just making up stuff to the teacher.”

He says, “Well, because my uncle is Superman,” and she’s like, “Oh okay, and she pulls him aside. He got in trouble. [She was like] “this is sad.”

Fact #3 : Henry Cavill Did Not Go To His Nephew’s School

Thomas’ mother – Henry’s sister-in-law – then explained to the teacher that the boy’s uncle “actually kind of is” Superman.

She did not ask Henry to “rescue” Thomas, so he did not actually go to his nephew’s school to prove that Superman is really his uncle.

Fact #4 : Henry Cavill Did Not Go To His Nephew’s School

The creator(s) misappropriated one of photos to make it look as if Henry Cavill was walking his nephew to school to prove that his uncle really is Superman.

The truth is this was one of the photos taken of Henry, who was walking in London with his brother Niki and his family on 7 September 2013.

They were NOT going to school to rescue Thomas, that’s for sure!

Fact #5 : Thomas Was Not 7 Years Old When It Happened

Henry Cavill did not mention how old Thomas was when this “Superman is my uncle” incident happened. But in a May 2021 interview with Viva Magazine, he said,

I have two nephews, aged 6 and 4. The older is known for telling wild tales in school and telling lies invented all the time. During one of the classes, the teacher asked pupils to talk about their family members, and what they do professionally. Then, the boy said: “My uncle is Superman.”

So we know that Thomas was 6 years old in 2013, and not 7 years old in 2021 as many viral websites and memes are claiming.

We also know that the incident happened sometime between 2011 and 2013. So Thomas was likely between 4 and 6 years old when it happened.

Little Thomas should be a strapping 14 year-old teenager in 2021!

Nokia 8.3 5G – No Time To Die Photoshoot : Behind The Scene

HMD Global partnered with the upcoming Bond movie – No Time To Die – to market their Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone with a photoshoot.

Watch the behind-the-scenes video for a look at how much effort they went into this photoshoot, and the final output from the Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone!

Nokia 8.3 5G : No Time To Die Marketing Photoshoot

In March 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, HMD Global announced that they won the rights to be the official phone partner for the 25th James Bond movie – No Time To Die.

This bought them the right to include into the movie, both the iconic Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 8.3 5G – their upcoming 5G smartphone with a PureView quad camera system featuring ZEISS optics.

The partnership also bought them the rights to an exclusive No Time To Die marketing photoshoot with Lashana Lynch, who plays 00 agent Nomi in the movie.

We should point out that while the Nokia 8.3 5G was featured in the movie and this photoshoot, it was not used to actually film any part of the movie.

Even for this photoshoot, the amount of preparation is incredible and really elaborate. They even brought in social media photographer Ben MacLean to take the photo at the iconic Pinewood Studios, with a 30-foot rig suspending him in the air.

Nokia 8.3 5G : The Ultimate Shot

Here is the ultimate shot that Ben MacLean took at No Time To Die photoshoot using the Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone.

Impressive! But if you are planning to buy the Nokia 8.3 5G because you think it will let you take such photos, you will be sorely disappointed.

It would be remiss of us not to remind you all of the elaborate preparation and lighting needed to achieve that shot.

Of course, that’s the purpose of such marketing efforts – to convince you of what’s potentially achievable with a lot of effort… not what most users will end up with.

That’s why we make sure that our smartphone reviews include real world photo and video samples taken on-the-go like normal people.

Here are a selection of our smartphone reviews you can check out :

The Present Highlights Samsung Corporate Vision + Ventures

“We hope that ‘The Present’ will encourage young adults who are working hard to keep pursuing their dreams,” said Jae-woong Jeong, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Corporate Communications Team, “and that the film will convey to audiences Samsung’s citizenship vision of Enabling People, which itself reflects the company’s commitment to helping fulfill the innate potential of each and every individual.”
