New Study Proves Pfizer Vaccine Causes Turbo Cancer?!

Did a new Belgian study just prove that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes turbo cancer?! Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : New Study Proves Pfizer Vaccine Causes Turbo Cancer!

People are sharing a new Belgian study published in Frontiers in Oncology, which they claim proves that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes turbo cancer! Here is an example posted by the DiedSuddenly account on Twitter:

🚨TurboCancer: New Study proves Pfizer mRNA induced turbo cancer

In a new Belgian study by Sander Eens et al. they injected 14 mice with 2 Pfizer COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.

2 days after 2nd Pfizer dose, 1/14 mice (7%) died suddenly, had turbo cancer with lymphoma infiltration of many organs: liver, kidneys, spleen, lungs & intestines.

The turbo cancer mouse had shown no clinical signs of illness before sudden death.

This is the 2nd study to show turbo cancer after Pfizer mRNA vaccination.

These were the types of studies that Pfizer & Moderna should have performed on mice but never did.

Key point: This 14 mouse study was larger than the study done to approve COVID-19 Omicron bivalent mRNA booster shots which were given to 100s of millions of people – that study only had 8 mice!

Truth : Study Did Not Prove Pfizer Vaccine Causes Turbo Cancer!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created / promoted by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Frontiers Was Labelled As Predatory Publisher

First, I think it is important to note that Frontiers Media – the publisher of Frontiers in Oncology, was labelled by Predatory Reports as a predatory publisher in this damning report on March 2023.

This is important to know as predatory publishers are more interested in maximising profits over the quality of the papers they publish. Predatory publishers tend to minimise or eliminate reviews to publish a lot of articles, because they are paid for each article that is published.

Frontiers launched its first journal, Frontiers in Neuroscience, in 2008; since then, it has started more than 50 journals — together harboring more than 400 specialty sections — covering everything from physics and chemistry to computer science and social sciences.

In 2021, Frontiers published over 85,000 articles. An increase of 77% compared to 48,000 in 2020. To date, Frontiers has published more than 280,000 articles and author fees for most types of articles are $1900.

A 13-page manifesto published on 8 May by 31 Frontiers chief editors alleges that Frontiers not only allows authors to “pick their preferred associate editor“, Frontiers staff can even override editorial decisions!

Frontiers staff interfere with editorial decisions, for instance by moving manuscripts from one editor to another to accelerate review, inviting authors to write a commentary without the knowledge of editors, and sometimes “deliberately overriding” editorial decisions.

Recommended : Is Pfizer Vaccine Responsible For Leprosy Cases?!

Fact #2 : Norway Rates Frontiers As “Not Academic”

Since 2018, Frontiers Media has been rated as “level 0” in the Norwegian Scientific Index by the National Publication Committee of Norway, indicating that the publisher is “not academic“.

Fact #3 : It Was A Case Report, Not A Study

Now, the reputation of its publisher aside, let’s take a look at the actual Belgian study that people say proves that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes turbo cancer.

First, let’s start with the fact that it was NOT even a study. It was a “case report” published in Frontiers in Oncology on 1 May 2023.

This was even stated in its title, with my emphasis in bold : B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma following intravenous BNT162b2 mRNA booster in a BALB/c mouse: A case report.

Fact #4 : There Was No Booster Vaccination

The case study confusingly states that the mice were given “booster vaccination”, but from what I can tell – only two doses of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine were given – at 6 weeks and 8 weeks into the experiment.

The Pfizer BNT162b2 vaccine is a two-dose mRNA vaccine, taken 21 days apart. The second dose is part of its primary vaccine dose, and is not a booster dose. Only the third and fourth doses are considered “booster vaccinations”.

Recommended : Did CDC Say COVID Vaccines Cause AIDS + Cancer?!

Fact #5 : They Injected Vaccine At Much Higher Doses

To conduct their experiments, the Belgians purchased 28 BALB/c mice, and began their experiment at 12 weeks old of age, which would roughly correspond to a human teenager – 17 years of age.

They split the groups into two – half (n=14) receiving the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, and half (n=14) given normal saline injections (control group). However, it does not appear that the mice were given the appropriate dosage of the Pfizer vaccine.

Human adults and teenagers will receive 30 μg of the Pfizer vaccine in each dose. Given that teenagers have an average weight of 65 kg and a BALB/c mouse weighs about 27 grams, each mice should have received only 0.0125 μg – 1/2400th of the human dose.

Instead, the mice were injected with 6 μg of the Pfizer vaccine – equivalent to 14,400 μg in human dosage, or 480 vaccine doses in one shot.

At the end of this experiment, the mice received 12 μg of the Pfizer vaccine – equivalent to 28,800 μg in human dosage, or 960 vaccine doses in two injections.

Fact #6 : They Injected Vaccine At Large Intervals

Instead of adjusting the vaccine interval to match mice age, they gave the second dose two weeks later – corresponding to about 5.5 human years.

In other words, the mice were given two extremely massive Pfizer vaccine doses at approximately 17 years of human-age, and 22.5 years of human-age.

While the large interval may not matter as much as the massive doses used, it would likely have skewed the experiment results somewhat in human equivalency.

Recommended : Did US FDA Just Ban Pfizer + Moderna Vaccines?!

Fact #6 : They Injected Pfizer Vaccine Wrongly

The Pfizer COMIRNATY vaccine is meant to be injected intramuscularly (IM – into the muscle) – commonly into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm. This site was chosen because muscle tissue have a ready pool of dendritic cells that can take up the antigens and spread them to the T and B cells in the lymph nodes.

However, in the Belgian experiment, the Pfizer vaccine was bizarrely injected intravenously (IV – into the vein) – into the tail vein of the mice. The authors admitted this as much in their discussion:

[T]he BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine was administered intravenously and not via the designed intramuscular route of delivery.

Their reasoning was that accidental intravenous injection have occurred, and the IM injection was said to “initiate an adaptive immune response in the lymph nodes”.

Accidents may well have occurred during human vaccinations, but their choice to inject the mice intravenously was no accident. It’s like crash testing a car with the test dummies not wearing a seatbelt because some drivers were reportedly not wearing them, and then saying – look at how terribly unsafe this car is!

And if they believe that the mRNA vaccine would end up in the blood via the lymph nodes even with IM injections, then why bother with the IV injection?

The Pfizer vaccine was never meant to be injected intravenously. Not only is it less effective (bypassing the lymph nodes), and more vulnerable to destruction and degradation, intravenous injection can cause more side effects including inflammation.

Recommended : Did FDA Admit Pfizer Vaccine Causes Blood Clots?!

Fact #7 : Lymphomas Occur Naturally In BALB/c Mice

Finally, it is important to point out that BALB/c mice are popular in cancer research because they are more susceptible to carcinogenesis, and can spontaneously (naturally) develop lymphomas.

This study, for example, shows that most of the lymphomas that spontaneously developed in BALB/C mice are of the B-cell type – similar to what was seen in the Belgian experiment.

Considering that only one mice (out of 28) developed B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, that would fall within this “baseline” of spontaneously occurring B-cell lymphomas in BALB/c mice.

Hence, the case report does not prove, or even suggest, that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes or predisposes to B-cell lymphomas in mice, never mind humans.

2018 Dell State Of Gaming Report

An extensive survey of 5,763 video game players in 11 countries, commissioned by Dell, revealed that today’s gamers are quite diverse; from a coworker with two kids, to the woman next to you at the gym, or, most commonly, a spouse, sibling or friend.

Through online platforms and social media, and fueled by the popularity of esports, the gaming community is ever-expanding while also growing in diversity and inclusiveness.

Gone are the days that being called a “gamer” is derogatory. According to those surveyed, fewer than one in 10 feel either “judged,” “childish” or “embarrassed” being called a “gamer” (8-9% each).

[adrotate group=”2″]

Instead, they consider “gamer” a positive label and feel “fun” (35%), “cool” (29%), or “excited” (26%) as a result. While some gamers are willing to self-sacrifice to continue gaming, the majority are well-rounded with interests in music, sports, traveling and socialising.

The gaming community has also become less of a “boy’s club,” with only 14% of gamers globally concerned about the gender of their rivals.

In general, gamers are welcoming to whomever is behind the computer. When it comes to being matched with rival gamers, culture/ethnicity (8%), political views (7%), and sexual orientation (6%) are for the most part inconsequential to a player. What matters most is the other gamer’s skill level (40%).

The Aurora is Alienware’s smallest dual-graphics mid-tower desktop. Despite its svelte form factor, it can support CPU water cooling and overclocking, as well as two full-sized graphics cards. It also features customisable AlienFX lighting, and a steel-reinforced magnesium-alloy chassis with tool-less access for easy upgrades.

The Q4 2017 Alienware Gaming Products Revealed!

In addition to the new Alienware Aurora R7 gaming desktop, Charllie Cheah, Dell Consumer Brand Manager, also shared details of the new Alienware gaming products that are being launched in time for the holiday season.

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse Review

Logitech is a Swiss company with a long history of producing some of the best accessories for the PC. They started with the computer mouse, and naturally diversified into keyboards, webcams and speakers. Today, we will take a look at the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum gaming mouse.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum replaces the Logitech G502 Proteus Core, its predecessor. It is an evolutionary upgrade of the Proteus Core mouse with customisable RGB illumination. Let’s check it out!

Originally posted @ 2016-03-03

Updated @ 2017-01-15 : Corrected references to 6 weights. There are only 5 weights. Updated other aspects of the review.

Unboxing The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum comes in a very nice cardboard box with full colour printing. You will find its key performance characteristics listed on the right side of the box, and its contents and requirements on the left side. The back of the box has a nice top view of the G502 Proteus Spectrum together with its key features.

Join us as we unbox the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum in this video. Please ignore the typo about six metal weights. There are only five weights.

Once you unpack everything, you will find the following items :

  • One Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum gaming mouse
  • One Logitech G502 tuning weight case with 5 weights (3.6 g each) inside (please ignore the typo in the video above)
  • One Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum manual
  • One Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Safety Compliance and Warranty leaflet
[adrotate banner=”5″]

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum is a rather large mouse, designed for right-handed users with large hands. It feels comfortable even in my smaller hand. However, one of the side buttons was out of reach. More on this later.

It has a nice curved thumb rest which doubles as a latch for the weight-tuning system (we have special section on this later in the review), and a full body for proper palm support. This may not matter though if you prefer the finger grip style of holding the mouse.

In case you are wondering, it is only available in one colour – black. The top surfaces are all matte-finished to prevent unsightly fingerprint smears. It also has textured rubber strips on both sides for better grip.

PMW3366 IR Sensor

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum mouse uses an IR sensor, instead of a laser sensor. This may seem like a downgrade but professional gamers will tell you – IR sensors actually deliver better precision and sensitivity than laser sensors, especially on textured surfaces.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum uses the much-vaunted PMW3366 IR sensor, which supports resolutions from 200 DPI all the way to 12,000 DPI. But ignore that upper number – no one will actually use that. What’s really important about this sensor is its precision and sensitivity.

In those aspects, the PMW3366 optical sensor really rocks – it was both sensitive and precise. Sensitivity is critical in gaming because you want your every move to register, even the slightest move. Precision is also important because you want your move to be precisely tracked so that it registers exactly in the game, or application you are using.

That said, please note that the PMW3366 sensor will not work with glass or highly glossy surfaces, unlike the Logitech MX Anywhere 2‘s Darkfield laser sensor. This isn’t really a problem because you can easily “fix” it with a proper mouse pad, or even a piece of paper.

Scroll Wheel & Buttons

Although Logitech claims that the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum has 11 programmable buttons, there are really just 9 programmable buttons. To make it a little more confusing, there are actually 10 buttons on this mouse, but one isn’t programmable while the scroll wheel can be programmed for 3 functions. That’s how you get 11 programmable “buttons” – 8 physical buttons that are programmable + 1 scroll wheel that can be programmed for 3 different functions.

Button Default Setting Button Default Setting
1 Left Click 6 Back
2 DPI Up 7 Right Click
3 DPI Down 8 Left Scroll, Middle Click, Right Scroll
4 DPI Shift 9 Scroll Mode Switch
5 Forward 10 Profile Switch

Pressing on the Scroll Mode Switch (Button #8) switches the scroll wheel between these two modes :

  • a “hyperfast scrolling mode” – smooth and quiet scrolling but lacks tactile feedback, and
  • a “click-to-click scrolling mode” – the typical ratcheted mode which precise but “noisy”.

We found the scroll wheel to be too loose in the hyperfast scrolling mode. A flick will send the screen scrolling far beyond what we would expect. The ratcheted mode is far better. The only downside – it is quite noisy if you scroll rapidly.

Note that smaller hands may find it hard to reach the DPI Shift button (#4).

[adrotate banner=”5″]

Glide Performance & Stability

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum is supported by four asymmetric pads of what appears to be UHMWPE (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), also known as UPE.

The traditional PTFE (commonly known by its trade name of Teflon) is slicker and gives a smoother glide, but is also more expensive and less durable. It is also hard to differentiate the gliding performance of UPE against PTFE. So we are not surprised to see UPE being used in the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum.

What’s more important to us is the stability of the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum. We are glad to report that it was very stable. Nothing irritates us more than a mouse that “rocks”. It’s pointless for a mouse to use PTFE feet for a smoother glide if it’s so unstable that it rocks as you move it.

Weight Tuning System

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum has an all-plastic chassis and weighs just 121 grams / 4.3 ounces (without the cable). That might be too light for some gamers, so Logitech included a weight tuning system. This comprises of a plastic case with 5 metal weights and a weight tuning chamber hidden inside the G502 Proteus Spectrum.

Watch this video to see how the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum‘s weight tuning system works. Please ignore the typo about 6 weights. There are only 5 weights.

Each metal weight weighs 3.6 grams (0.13 ounces), so you can adjust the weight of the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum by up to 18 grams / 0.65 ounces (15%). The hexagonal design of the weight tuning system is quite clever, allowing Logitech to arrange them around the sensor, in a simple chamber covered by a single magnetically-locked cover.

USB Cable

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum uses a USB cable, instead of a wireless connection. The USB cable is 183 cm (6 feet) long, which is fantastic for desktops but a handful for laptops. The USB cable is braided for strength and durability. The cable joint is also protected by a hard plastic sleeve and the two main mouse buttons.

The USB cable allows the G502 Proteus Spectrum to achieve a higher polling rate of 1,000 Hz. Wireless mice, on other hand, maxes out at 500 Hz. That is a difference of response time of 1 ms vs. 2 ms. Of course, whether you can really tell the difference in real world usage is another matter.

What will really matter a lot is the fact that a USB connection will never suffer from interference, which can happen to wireless mice, due to nearby USB drives or other wireless devices.

[adrotate banner=”5″]

Logitech Gaming Software

The Logitech Gaming Software is not necessary to use the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum. However, it is highly recommended because it allows you to make full use of the G502 Proteus Spectrum‘s built-in features.

In the Home section, you get to switch between using the 3 profiles stored in the mouse’s onboard memory, or the profiles Logitech created for different games. Enabling Automatic Game Detection will allow you to scan for games in your computer, and assign preset profiles to use with the G502 Proteus Spectrum.

The profiles offer a variety of customisation options. You can change the functions of the 8 programmable buttons, adjust the DPI sensitivity levels, polling rate and even the colour of the RGB lights using up to 3 profiles.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum comes with two presets which fine-tunes it for the Logitech G440 hard gaming mouse pad, and the Logitech G240 soft gaming mouse pad. However, you can fine-tune the G502 Proteus Spectrum for any surface by adding a new surface and clicking on the Tune option. Very nifty!

Finally, the Logitech Gaming Software comes with a “recording feature” which they call Input Analysis. Basically, it allows you to log your key presses so you can find out which keys / buttons you pressed the most or longest during a gaming session.

Our Verdict

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum was designed with one goal in mind – desktop gaming. It is a full-sized mouse that offers a lot of palm support, and comes a nice braided USB cable that is 6 feet long. The PMW3366 IR sensor it uses cannot handle glass or glossy surfaces, but on regular desktop surfaces, it is precise and sensitive.

It also offers a ton of customisation features. You can customise the 9 programmable buttons for 11 functions, or the built-in LED lighting that supports up to 16.8 million colours. And like many gaming mice, you can change its sensitivity and polling speeds.

The Logitech Gaming Software it comes with is essential to accessing all those customisation features. It also allows you to fine-tune the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum for different table or mouse pad surfaces. Everything you need to adjust the mouse to your exacting needs.

Some may gripe about its plastic build but it doesn’t rattle or creak. In fact, it feels really solid and more importantly – stable. Gamers who find the G502 Proteus Spectrum a little on the light side can use its weight tuning system to beef it up a bit.

[adrotate banner=”4″]

We are not sure how popular RGB LED illumination is to you, but those who enjoy showing off their gaming PCs will love the fact that it allows them to choose from up to 16.8 million colours. Even better, they can sync the light and colour patterns with other Logitech G devices.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum also comes with a scroll wheel that not only supports vertical and horizontal scrolling, but can also switch between ratcheted and smooth scrolling modes. Just press the small button next to the scroll wheel to switch modes – it can’t be any faster or simpler than that! Unfortunately, the scroll wheel had too much inertia in its smooth scrolling mode, and was quite noisy in its ratcheted mode.

Other than the fact that smaller hands may find it hard to reach the DPI Shift button, we really enjoyed gaming with the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum. It is therefore our pleasure to award it with our Reviewer’s Choice Award. Congratulations, Logitech!

Logitech G102 Prodigy Gaming Mouse Launched

27 October 2016 — Today, Logitech announced the Logitech G102 Prodigy Gaming Mouse – the latest addition to its Prodigy Series. Featuring a new gaming sensor manufactured in Switzerland, the G102 Prodigy delivers class-leading performance with up to 6000 DPI. It also features gaming-grade technologies including advanced button tensioning, onboard memory, and RGB lighting in a comfortable, durable and lightweight design.

“We’re committed to offering the best technology at every price point,” said KP Sim, Logitech Country Manager of Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei. “Building on the legacy of our hugely popular G100s in Asia, we carefully improved the design, while challenging our engineers to develop a new sensor that delivers game-changing performance at an incredible value.”

New Swiss-Made Gaming Sensor

Consistent, pixel-precise accuracy makes a critical difference in gameplay. The Logitech G102 features a new gaming sensor manufactured in Switzerland that delivers exceptional tracking accuracy and consistent responsiveness at any speed across its entire DPI range (200-6,000 DPI).

Classic Design

G102 is inspired by the classic lines and simple construction of the legendary Logitech G100s Gaming Mouse. Beloved by gamers worldwide and a favorite of eSports pros, it’s a familiar design we have reimagined and optimized from the inside-out for versatility, durability and comfort for everyday use.

Gaming-Grade Performance

Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mouse Review

Logitech is a Swiss company with a long history of producing some of the best accessories for the PC. They started with the computer mouse, and naturally diversified into keyboards, webcams and speakers. Today, we will take a look at the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 wireless mouse, which was specially developed for mobile users.

Don’t mistaken the term “developed for mobile users” to mean a teeny-weeny or flattened mouse with wireless capabilities. The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 is designed to address the critical needs of the mobile user, namely the ability to track on any surface, dual connectivity via Bluetooth and wireless receiver, and the ability to switch between 3 different devices. Let’s take a look!

Unboxing The Logitech MX Anywhere 2

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 comes in a very nice cardboard retail box, with its key features listed on the box in four languages. The system requirements (Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.8 or better for WiFi and Windows 8 or Mac OS X 10.10 or better for Bluetooth) are listed on the right side. On the left is a list of the box’s contents.

The box actually flips open in the front to reveal the MX Anywhere 2 mouse and its Pico Unifying receiver behind a clear plastic window. This allows you to gauge how well the mouse will fit your hand before purchasing it. The inner side of the cover shows you the five simple steps to get the MX Anywhere 2 mouse to work with your devices in pictorial form.

Once you open up the box, you will find the following items :

Now, let’s take a closer look at the MX Anywhere 2 mouse…

Page 2 : Size & Grip, Darkfield Laser Sensor, Dual Connectivity, Battery & Charging

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 is a compact mouse designed for mobile use, so don’t expect much palm support. It is best used with a pincer grip, even with smaller Asian hands. With a typical resolution of 1,000 dpi, you don’t need much wrist action to go a long way.

9 / 6

In case you are wondering, the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 only comes in one colour scheme – a mix of black and army green, with chrome accents on the scroll wheel. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Darkfield Laser Sensor

As a mouse designed to be used on-the-go, it is important that it can work with any kind of surface. However, the traditional laser sensor has trouble tracking on clear glass or very glossy surfaces. This led Logitech to develop a dual-laser system they dub as the “Darkfield laser tracking technology“.

Basically, it uses two laser diodes to better pick up the minute surface irregularities on highly glossy surfaces. This allows the MX Anywhere 2 to track on all types of glassy surfaces as long as the glass surface is at least 4 mm thick.

Dual Connectivity

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 has another unique feature – dual connectivity. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 (also known as Bluetooth Low Energy or Bluetooth Smart), allowing you to pair it with virtually any laptop and smart device in the market without the use of any receiver. However, your PC will need to run on at least Microsoft Windows 8 or Mac OS X 10.10.

If you are using an older computer that does not support Bluetooth 4.0, or runs on Windows 7 or an older version of Mac OS X, the MX Anywhere 2 comes with a Pico Unifying receiver. This miniature USB receiver with a range of 10 meters (32 feet) allows you to pair any computer with the MX Anywhere 2 using a direct 2.4 GHz radio connection.

As this is a Unifying receiver, you can pair any compatible Logitech keyboard to the same receiver. This allows you to save one USB port by using the same receiver for both keyboard and mouse. You will need to install and use the Logitech Unifying software to pair and unpair compatible Logitech devices to the Pico Unifying receiver.

Battery & Charging

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 comes with a small 500 mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. Logitech claims a maximum battery life of 40 days, based on 6 hours of daily use. This is probably based on the Bluetooth 4.0 connection. Using the Pico Unifying receiver, we got about 3 weeks of use before requiring a recharge.

The MX Anywhere 2 recharges its battery via a micro USB port in the front. They intentionally placed the port there so that you can continue using the mouse while it’s charging. Once attached, the USB cable temporarily turns this wireless mouse into a “wired” mouse.

You will be glad to know that since the MX Anywhere 2 uses so little power, a single minute of charging time will give you up to 2 hours of use.

Page 3 : The Scroll Wheel & Buttons, Gliding & Stability Performance

The Scroll Wheel & Buttons

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 comes with a scroll wheel that supports both vertical and horizontal scrolling. Pressing on the scroll wheel switches between two modes :

  • a “hyperfast scrolling mode” – smooth and quiet scrolling but lacks tactile feedback, and
  • a “click-to-click scrolling mode” – the typical ratcheted mode which precise but “noisy”.

There is a small middle button behind the scroll wheel that enables the Gestures feature, but only if the Logitech Options utility is installed. Right behind it is a small LED light that gives you an indication of its battery life. If the green light turns red, it means the MX Anywhere 2‘s battery is down to less than 20% of its capacity – an indication you should recharge the mouse.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 looks symmetrical but it’s not an ambidextrous mouse. It was definitely designed for the right-handed user, with the two side buttons on the left side and none on the right side. However, the two side buttons aren’t really all that useful – being used as Forward and Back buttons.

If you don’t mind living without the side buttons, the MX Anywhere 2 is symmetrical enough to use with your left hand. You just need to install the Logitech Options software to switch the left and right main buttons.

The base of the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 conceals its On/Off switch and a Connect button. There is also an Easy-Switch button with 3 small LED lights. The Connect button allows you to put the MX Anywhere 2 in pairing mode, while the Easy-Switch button allows you to pair up to 3 different devices with the MX Anywhere 2.

Gliding & Stability Performance

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 is supported on its base by four average pads of what appears to be UHMWPE (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), also known as UPE.

The traditional PTFE (commonly known by its trade name of Teflon) is slicker and gives a smoother glide, but is also more expensive and less durable. It is also hard to differentiate the gliding performance of UPE against PTFE. So we are not surprised to see UPE being used in the MX Anywhere 2.

More importantly, the base of the MX Anywhere 2 was very stable. Nothing irritates me more than a mouse that “rocks”. It’s pointless for a mouse to use PTFE feet for a smoother glide if it’s so unstable that it rocks as you move it.

Page 4 : Logitech Options, Our Verdict

Logitech Options

The Logitech Options software is not necessarily to use the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse with your Windows or Mac PC. However, it gives you the ability to customise the mouse buttons, scrolling speed and gesture options.

13 / 11

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 has a default sensitivity of 1,000 dpi. This is lower than what you would expect from a gaming mouse, because this is a mouse designed for mobile users who would have less screen area to work with. However, you can use Logitech Options to change the MX Anywhere 2‘s sensitivity from as low as 400 dpi all the way to 1,600 dpi, in steps of 200 dpi.

Our Verdict

For a relatively small mouse, the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 packs a ton of smart features. It supports both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, which includes the ability to pair with up to 3 different computers or devices.

Road warriors who have to put up with all sorts of different table surfaces at cafés and airports will love its Darkfield laser sensor. This dual-laser sensor technology allows the MX Anywhere 2 to work on virtually any surface, including glass and highly glossy surfaces.

[adrotate banner=”4″]The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 also comes with a scroll wheel that not only supports vertical and horizontal scrolling, but also the option to switch between ratcheted and smooth scrolling modes. Just press the scroll wheel to switch modes – it can’t be any faster or simpler than that!

We also like the fact that Logitech was smart enough to recharge the MX Anywhere 2 via a micro-USB port in the front. This allows the mouse to be used while it’s charging, essentially converting it into a wired mouse while it’s charging up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our limited time with the Logitech MX Anywhere 2. It worked very well with both our Mac and Windows computers, switching between Bluetooth and its WiFi-based Unifying receiver effortlessly. It is therefore our pleasure to award it with our Reviewer’s Choice Award. Congratulations, Logitech!

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse Launched

Jan. 6, 2016 — Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) today announced the introduction of the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse (Lowest Price). By adding RGB customizable lighting the Logitech G502 Proteus Core, the world’s best selling gaming mouse just got even better. The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum still retains the world’s best DPI sensor, advanced surface and weight tuning, but now gives you even more features to elevate your game and style.

“The G502 Proteus Spectrum has an amazing sensor, and now it’s got customizable lighting as well, said KP Sim, Logitech Country Manager of Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei. “You can also sync it with your other RGB-enabled Logitech G gaming gear to create some really cool effects.”

RGB Customizable Lighting

Match your style and environment by adjusting up to 16.8 million colors and brightness, using Logitech Gaming Software (LGS). Bring your mouse to life with breathing light patterns, or set your lighting to continuously cycle through the color spectrum. The lighting can also be synchronized with Logitech G’s other RGB products.

Accurate and Responsive Optical Sensor

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse (Lowest Price) features Logitech’s most powerful and accurate optical sensor, the PMW3366, for maximum performance and tracking accuracy and the exclusive Logitech G Delta Zero optical sensor technology that increases reliable targeting. The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse (Lowest Price) also features a huge DPI range of 200 to 12,000 with zero sensor acceleration, zero smoothing or filtering and zero pixel rounding.

Tunable Balance, Buttons, Surface and Weight

Personal tweaks make all the difference. For a mouse that feels just right for you, adjust the weight and center of balance through the placement of up to five 3.6g weights in the mouse. You can also easily reassign any command or macro to one of the 11 programmable buttons, using LGS.

And for optimal performance, calibrate the sensor against a gaming surface’s physical and reflective characteristics. Surface tuning optimizes the sensor dynamic range to match the properties of the mouse surface, which results in maximum high-speed performance and lower lift-off distance.

Comfortable Shape

The textured rubber grips and a convenient button layout ensure great feel and performance from your first encounter with the mouse. Additionally, the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse (Lowest Price) includes individual left and right buttons that provide a rigid and stable platform, resulting in precise, durable and satisfying clicks. Mechanical micro-switches under each button further enhance feel, speed and accuracy. And, a dual-mode hyper-fast scroll wheel offers enhanced click-to-click precision and lightning-fast scrolling for the Web.

Logitech G502 Pricing and Availability

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse (Lowest Price) builds on the success of the G502 Proteus Core – the best-selling gaming mouse based on worldwide revenue. The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse will be available at all authorised resellers  in mid January for a suggested retail price of RM369 (inclusive of GST) / ~US$89.
