The Sims 4 is now completely FREE to play on Windows and Mac (Steam, EA, Origin), as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles!

The Sims 4 : Now FREE To Play On PC, PS4 + Xbox!

On 18 October 2022, Electronic Arts (EA) made The Sims 4 completely free to play on Windows and Mac (Steam, EA, Origin), as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles!

Steam for Windows

  1. Log into your existing Steam account, or create a new account.
  2. Go to the The Sims 4 page.
  3. Click on the Play Game button to add it to your Steam account.
    You can choose to install it now, or postpone the installation.

EA App for Windows

  1. Download and install the EA app for Windows.
  2. Create and log into your EA account.
  3. Search for “The Sims 4” and add it to your Library.

Origin for Mac

  1. Download and install the Origin app for Mac
  2. Create and log into your EA account.
  3. Search for “The Sims 4” and add it to your Library.

PlayStation

  1. Log into your existing PlayStation account, or create a new account.
  2. Go to the The Sims 4 page. If it fails to load, search for “The Sims 4” in the PlayStation Store.
  3. Click on the Add to Library button to add it to your PlayStation account.

Adding To Microsoft Xbox Account

  1. Log into your existing Xbox account, or create a new account.
  2. Go to the The Sims 4 page.
  3. Click on the Get button to add it to your Microsoft account.
