Samsung POWERbot VR9300K & VR9200 Models Revealed

Earlier this month, we attended the Samsung Forum 2016, where we saw the latest and greatest Samsung home technology – all slated for sale this year. What really caught our eyes was a demonstration of the new Samsung POWERbot VR9300K robot vacuum cleaner against the latest LG Roboking robot vacuum cleaner. It was really, really impressive!

Samsung POWERbot VR9300K & VR9200J

Currently, Samsung sells the POWERbot VR9000H (Model VR20H9050UW). That’s the one on the far right. It boasts 20X more suction power than the 3-year old Samsung Navibot SR10F71 robot vacuum cleaner.

Impressive, but Samsung tops that up with the new Samsung POWERbot VR9300K and VR9200J models. The VR9300K boasts a whopping 70X more suction power than the Navibot SR10F71, while the VR9200J has 50X more suction power.

These two new models also feature remote WiFi control using a smartphone, as well as an improved FullView Sensor 2.0 which scans and maps over a 170° arc. All the other cleaning features remain the same, from its Cyclone Force system, 311 mm wide brush and Visionary Mapping Plus system.

Samsung POWERbot VR9300K Vs. LG Roboking

We have no idea which LG Roboking model they used for this comparison, but it appears to be the latest LG Roboking VR6470LVM. Check out its performance compared to the forthcoming Samsung POWERbot VR9300K!

Impressive, isn’t it? The Samsung rep also demoed the use of the Point Cleaning feature. To get the POWERbot to clean a specific area, just point at it using the remote and fire the red LED light on the spot. The POWERbot will clean the area surrounding that lit point.

VR9300K & VR9200J Availability

Both these new POWERbot models will be available in the United States in the Spring of 2016. Global availability will vary from country to country, but expect it to start selling in Q2 2016 onwards.
