Introducing The JOI Book 100!
Despite its low cost, the JOI Book 100 boasts a full metal and glass design that gives it a premium look and feel that is quite unlike any other laptop in the same price range. Its 14.1-inch display does not only come with a Full HD IPS panel, it has a full glass cover and very narrow bezels.
Performance
Powering the JOI Book 100 is a power-sipping Intel Celeron N3450 quad-core processor – it uses just 6 W of power while delivering clock speeds between 1.1 GHz and 2.2 GHz. It is backed by 2 MB of L2 cache, Intel HD Graphics 500 and 4 GB of memory.
Storage
The JOI Book 100 is unique in that it comes with a 32 GB eMMC boot drive, preloaded with Windows 10 Home. For additional storage, it has an M.2 SSD bay with a 128 GB Intel SSD 545s drive installed.
This SSD bay has an easy-access hatch that allows you to easily swap out the existing SSD for a larger drive later. If that’s not enough, you can also add a microSD card for additional storage of up to 64 GB.
Mobility
The JOI Book 100 comes with a 10,000 mAh lithium-ion battery that will last 6-8 hours. It is also very slim at just 14 mm and weighs only 1.35 kg, which means you will have no problem slipping it into small bags.
