The ROG Masters 2016 Tournament Rocks KL

ROG, the Republic of Gamers in full, is the gaming brand from ASUS. Their focus is on delivering the ultimate gaming systems and components for hardcore gamers. So it comes to no surprise to see them hosting their own eSports tournament – the ROG Masters 2016.

The ROG Masters 2016

ROG has sponsored many gaming events in the past, but this is the first time they organised and hosted their own gaming tournament. Their inaugural tournament, the ROG Masters 2016, rocked KL with new and top teams competing for the US$ 200,000 prize pool!

As an open tournament, the ROG Masters 2016 saw hundreds of teams from all over the world competing against each other. But only the 12 strongest teams in Dota 2 and CS:GO each qualified to fight it out in the finals in Kuala Lumpur.

In the end, Team Secret beat Team Execration to take the trophy in the Dota 2 tournament. In CS:GO, Team Mongolz beat Team Dreamscape for the first spot.

Congratulations to Team Secret and Team Mongolz, and the runners-up teams – Team Execration and Team Dreamscape. Win or lose the top spot, these are the best teams in the inaugural ROG Masters tournament!
