At just 1.17 kg, the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the world’s lightest 14″ business-class Ultrabook. It is amongst the thinnest Ultrabooks in the market with a thickness of just 16.5 mm. All this is thanks to its satellite-grade carbon fiber chassis.
Its carbon fiber construction also makes it tougher – the ThinkPad X1 Carbon has been qualified using nearly a dozen military-grade specification tests. So it will withstand the harshest conditions you can put it through.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is powered by the latest 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6600U processor running on Microsoft Windows 10 Professional, and comes with up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. Yet you never have to worry about battery life, because its 52 WHr battery allows you to work and play for up to 11 hours.
Lenovo offers two display options – a standard full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and a higher-end 2K IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Both displays have a maximum brightness of 300 nits. To ensure the security of the data, it even comes with a fingerprint touch sensor and the Intel TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
