On top of the HUAWEI Carnival 2019 promotions, and the HUAWEI No Worries promotion, HUAWEI Malaysia just announced their mid-2019 price cut on selected smartphones!

Here are the full HUAWEI price cut details, and our analysis… HUAWEI fans are in for some real nice deals!

 

The HUAWEI No Worries Promotion + Price Cut

HUAWEI ended June with a slew of great news – they sold 100 million smartphones by 30 May, 10 million P30 smartphones by 20 June, and the release of their EMUI 9.1 – a major upgrade of their mobile OS.

To kick off the second half of 2019, they are announcing a new HUAWEI No Worries promotion, with an extended warranty promotion, and a price cut on their three bestsellers!

  • HUAWEI P30 (8 GB + 128 GB) : Now only RM 2,299 – a RM 400 (15%) discount!
  • HUAWEI P30 Pro (8 GB + 256 GB) : Now only RM 3,399 – a RM 400 (10.5%) discount!
  • HUAWEI Nova 3i : Now only RM 799 – a RM 100 (11.1%) discount!

 

HUAWEI Carnival 2019 Promotions!

HUAWEI Malaysia also announced HUAWEI Carnival 2019, where you will have the chance to win prizes worth RM 1 million!

The Mid-2019 HUAWEI Price Cut Details + Analysis

In conjunction with the HUAWEI Carnival 2019, HUAWEI Malaysia also announced a slew of price cuts, so everyone can now own a HUAWEI smartphone!

Percentage-wise, the HUAWEI nova 4e gets the best discount, followed by the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro and HUAWEI Mate20 smartphones.

However, the HUAWEI P30 Pro (512 GB) received the biggest discount in value – a whopping RM 500 off its launch price! That’s a very good deal!

HUAWEI is partnering Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) to run the WeAreNova fashion design contest! This is a great opportunity for budding fashion designers to show off their abilities!

 

WeAreNova Fashion Design Contest Kicks Off

HUAWEI Nova is partnering Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) to run the WeAreNova by ThePeople, a fashion design competition.

The contest is open to any professional fashion designer, amateurs and students who are pursuing fashion at local universities.

 

WeAreNova Contest Rules

The contest will run from 10th May till 31st May 2019., and is made up of two stages:

  • Two weeks of submission to nova@klfashionweek.com
  • One week of public voting 

Every contestant needs to design three masterpieces for the Nova series based on its vibrant colours, looks and the brand name itself.

Nova fans and the public will get to vote for their favourite designs on the official Facebook page of KLFW which will ultimately decide the top ten winners.

Every winner stands to win a part of the RM 15,000 and have their work presented during the KLFW 2019 Showcases.

 

HUAWEI Nova Smartphones Powers WeAreNova

The fashion design contest aims to showcase the stylish side of HUAWEI Nova, a series of smartphones which highlights youthful fashion sense.

HUAWEI nova plans to explore new designs and colours with the help of fashion design ideas submitted by contestants.

HUAWEI just unveiled the nova 4e smartphone with a 32 MP selfie camera! Let’s find out what else the nova 4e offers, as well as its price and availability!

 

HUAWEI nova 4e with 32 MP Selfie Camera

HUAWEI invited us to an exclusive media briefing session, where Calvin Ho, HUAWEI Product GTM Specialist briefed us on the new HUAWEI nova 4e (Lazada | Shopee) smartphone’s key features :

Dewdrop Display

The HUAWEI nova 4e (Lazada | Shopee) boasts a large 6.15-inch dewdrop display, similar to Mate20 and Y Max smartphones. The small dewdrop notch and thin bezels give the nova 4e a massive 84.1% screen-to-body ratio.

Cameras Galore!

The nova 4e (Lazada | Shopee) will come with a very high-resolution 32 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 lens, allowing you to take studio-quality selfies and wefies. But that’s not all.

In the back, it boasts a triple camera system! The main camera has a 24 MP sensor with f/1.8 lens, supported by a 2 MP depth sensor. Its secondary camera is a ultra-wide angle camera with 8 MP sensor and a 120-degree field-of-view!

Performance

The nova 4e (Lazada | Shopee) runs on the Kirin 710 mobile SoC, with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 3,340 mAh lithium-ion battery.
