Let’s face it, majority of Malaysians love to karaoke – we sure do! Whether they have an at-home set or they head over to the nearest karaoke outlet, we simply adore singing along to our favourite songs with friends and family.

So, to continue helping fans reveal their inner rockstar, honor is partnering with Redbox Malaysia and declaring every Tuesday as ‘honor day’. This means that from April 19th – December 31st 2016, honor users will enjoy a 20% discount on their total bill each Tuesday.

All you need to do is present your honor smartphone, smartwatch or tablet at the reception to enjoy this great discount. So what are you waiting for? Head on over!

  • Valid on Every Tuesday, from 2pm-9pm (check-in time) only
  • To enjoy 20% discount on your total bill, customers are required to show their honor product, and fill in details upon check-in at the reception counter. No discount will be applied if this step is not completed.
  • Valid at any Red Box & Green Box Karaoke except Red Box Plus, Pavilion Mall
  • Not valid with other promotions, discounts or vouchers

honor 5X & honor 7 Enhanced Edition Prices & Pre-Order

12 February 2016 – The wait is finally over, as honor announces the retail prices for the newly launched honor 5X and honor 7 Enhanced Edition for the Malaysian market. It will be RM 899 (~US$ 209) for the honor 5X Grey and Silver colour and RM 939 (~US$ 219) for the honor 5X Gold colour. The honor 7 Enhanced Edition will be priced at RM 1,499 (~US$ 349).

As a quick refresher, the honor 5X features a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels Full-HD display, and a second-generation frame-free metallic fingerprint reader, powered by a powerful octa-core processor underneath its sleek metal body.

The honor 7 Enhanced Edition meanwhile, is an update to a crowd favourite as it adds on a few new features to the base model, which includes 32GB of on-board storage, a 9V2A Fast Charger for speedy charging, and EMUI 4.0 (based on Android Marshmallow) out of the box.

For those who wants to try the phone first before committing their hard-earned cash on the device, honor has created the honor 5X Trial Program, where customers can register to try the honor 5X for a month. They can head on to VMALL.MY to sign up to be part of this trial program and test out the honor 5X before anyone else. The registration is limited to 50 participants, and it ends on 15 March 2016.

General sales for the honor 7 Enhanced Edition and the honor 5X begins on 16 February and 23 February 2016 respectively on VMALL.MY, Lazada and DirectD.

The honor 7 Enhanced Edition comes with a six-month cracked screen warranty, and both the honor 7 Enhanced Edition and honor 5X enjoys a six-month one-to-one exchange warranty for any manufacturing defects.

Please note that this beta test program is exclusively limited to the Malaysian Honor 7 model running build number PLK-L01C636B120.

Once you have successfully registered, just sit back, relax, and wait for the BETA to be seeded to you (via OTA) by 31st December 2015.

As this is an experimental build, you should be aware that unexpected bugs or issues may arise from time to time. If you encounter any issues / bug using the Marshmallow build during the beta test, you should submit your feedback using this link – http://www.vmall.my/beta-testing
