At the official launch of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones, HUAWEI also unveiled the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2, as well as other new wearables!

Here is everything HUAWEI revealed about the WATCH GT 2 and other new HUAWEI wearable devices!

 

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Revealed!

At the tail-end of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro presentation, Matthew Ng, Deputy Country Director, HUAWEI Consumer Business Group, unveiled the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 and other wearable devices.

Here are the key features of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 :

  • Comes in two sizes – 46 mm and 42 mm
  • Both are powered by the Huawei Kirin A1 mobile SoC
  • The 46 mm model has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, with 454 x 454 pixels resolution
  • The 42 mm model has a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, with 390 x 390 pixels resolution
  • They are both rated for 5ATM water-resistance, and have a rated battery life of 14 days
  • They both support 15 types of workout modes, and 10 training modes
  • They will both monitor your sleep, blood pressure and heart rate
  • They both support Bluetooth calling and have an Always On Display, as well as a music player

In addition to the WATCH GT 2, HUAWEI also announced the HUAWEI Band 4, HUAWEI x GENTLE MONSTER eyewear, and even SmartHome Wi-Fi routers to support them!
