Truth : Danielle Mei Cabana Did Not Die From Vaccine Myocarditis!

It’s now a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Danielle Mei Cabana Had The Flu

Danielle Mei Cabana (born October 3, 2016) was a 6 year old member of the Richmond Raven U7 girls hockey team.

Danielle and her sisters caught the flu at around Remembrance Day on November 11. While her sisters recovered, Danielle could not fight off the infection, and was admitted to the British Columbia Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

At the hospital, Danielle Cabana’s condition worsened, and she was transferred to the ICU, where she was diagnosed with myocarditis caused by the flu.

To be clear – Danielle Mei Cabana did not get her myocarditis from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #2 : Danielle Mei Cabana Died From A Stroke

According to her father, Denis Cabana, Danielle was given medicine to treat the myocarditis, but her heart stopped that evening.

Danielle Mei Cabana underwent two heart procedures over the next two days, and started to breathe on her own on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Unfortunately, she suffered a “massive stroke” later that day, and died from it.

Her father, Denis Cabana posted about her demise on Instagram (now private):

We went back to the room where the doctors unplugged the machine and we said our goodbyes. Dani held on for another 10 minutes or so before finally resting.

While we may not be able to see or touch her again, her spirit and memories will live forever within her parents and sisters. We will honor her life and make sure she has a fulfilling life through our eyes.

A GoFundMe was set up for her family, and her funeral service would be held tomorrow, January 20, 2023.

Fact #3 : Unknown If Danielle Mei Cabana Was Vaccinated

It is currently unknown if Danielle Mei Cabana was vaccinated against COVID-19, because her vaccination status was never publicly revealed.

For all we know – she may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in Canada, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

Until and unless her family reveals her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who claims that Danielle Mei Cabana received the COVID-19 vaccine is likely lying to you.

Fact #4 : Claims Of Children Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

Kris Letang : Was His Stroke Caused By Vaccine?!

Claim : Kris Letang Suffered Stroke From Vaccine-Induced Blood Clots!

Right after news broke that Kris Letang suffered a stroke, anti-vaccination activists immediately claimed that the 35 year-old NHL player was a victim of blood clots caused by COVID-19 vaccine!

Here are some examples on social media:

Rob Schneider : The silence about this and lack of even daring to question this previously rare or unheard of occurrences tells you all need to know…

Truth : Kris Letang Did Not Get Stroke From Vaccine-Induced Blood Clots!

It’s now a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all athlete deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Kris Letang Had Debilitating Headaches

Kris Letang (born Kristopher Joseph Pierre Irwin Letang on April 24, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, and an alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL).

On Monday, November 28, 2022, he suffered a series of debilitating headaches, and reported them to the Penguins training staff. He was immediately taken to the hospital for testing, where it was confirmed he suffered a stroke.

Fact #2 : Kris Letang Survived His Stroke

Some anti-vaccination activists falsely / wrongly claimed that Kris Letang “died suddenly” from vaccine SADS or a stroke caused by vaccine-induced blood clots. That’s false. Kris Letang survived the stroke, and is still alive today.

Kris Letang was fortunate to have reported his headaches and sought treatment quickly, and his stroke is “not believed to be career threatening“, and he is “not experiencing any lasting effects of the stroke“.

I am fortunate to know my body well enough to recognize when something isn’t right. While it is difficult to navigate this issue publicly, I am hopeful it can raise awareness. It is important for me that my teammates, family and the fans know that I am okay. I am optimistic that I will be back on the ice soon.

Ten days after suffering the stroke, Kris Letang was well enough to return to practice with his teammates. He returned to the lineup on December 10, and skated 22:14 in a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

Fact #3 : Kris Letang Had A Stroke In 2014 As Well

What anti-vaccination activists won’t tell you is that this was not the first time Kris Letang had a stroke.

He first suffered a stroke in 2014, which was more serious and took him out of action for more than two months.

Obviously, that was more than six years before the first COVID-19 vaccines were approved!

Fact #4 : Both Strokes Were Due To PFO

When Kris Letang suffered his first stroke in 2014, doctors discovered that he had a patent foramen ovale (PFO) – a hole in the central wall of his heart.

We are all born with this hole in the heart – a flap-like opening in the wall that divides the right and left atrium (upper chambers) of the heart. This foramen ovale usually closes in infancy, and prevents the blood in the right and left atriums from mixing.

The blood that enters the right side of the heart gets pumped to the lungs where it is oxygenated. At the same time, the lungs act as a kind of filter that traps small blood clots that may develop.

However, the foramen ovale does not close completely in about 25% of people. This allows blood from the right side to enter into the left side, which means blood clots may “leak” into the left side as well, instead of getting filtered by the lungs.

These blood clots may travel to the arteries in the brain, and cause an ischaemic stroke by blocking off normal blood flow.

In Kris Letang’s case, both strokes were attributed to his patent foramen ovale (PFO), and not the COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #5 : Kris Letang Is Fully Vaccinated

In October 2021, the Pittsburgh Penguins confirmed that Kris Letang was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, as are all Penguins players.

At that time, multiple Penguins players tested positive for COVID-19, but they all had mild symptoms or were asymptomatic. That was testament to the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #6 : Kris Letang’s Vaccination Had Nothing To Do With His Stroke

I should point out clearly that Kris Letang’s COVID-19 vaccination has nothing to do with his stroke, which was due to a heart condition he was born with.

Claims that his condition may have worsened due to the COVID-19 vaccines are also untrue, because his 2022 stroke was milder than his 2014 stroke.

The Penguins team physician Dr. Dharmesh Vyas described the 2022 stroke as “smaller” than the one Letang endured in 2014, and noted that the symptoms resolved themselves much more quickly.

As noted in Fact #2, Kris Letang started skating on his own two days after his 2022 stroke, but was out of action for over two months after his 2014 stroke.

Fact #7 : Claims Of Athletes Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing athlete deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, claims of athlete deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance.

Bill Wolfson Lianie : Sudden Death NOT From Vaccine!

It’s becoming a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all athlete deaths or injuries on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why… and the current facts that we know so far.

Fact #1 : Bill Wolfson Lianie Died Of Brain Haemorrhage

Bill Wolfson Anak Lianie – a 14 year-old student from SMK Penrissen in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia – died suddenly on Sunday, 6 November 2022.

He was one of the trainees at a two-day hockey training camp in Ipoh, Perak for goalkeepers, under the Malaysia National Hockey Development Programme (NHDP).

Bill just had a morning shower with his teammates at the Raja Ashman Shah Academy, when he complained of feeling uneasy and faint. He suddenly collapsed in his room at about 7 AM.

NHDP staff members performed CPR on Bill, before an ambulance rushed him to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital. But despite the efforts of doctors there, they could not save him and he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was conducted, and it revealed that Bill Wolfson Lianie died of a brain haemorrhage. He did not die from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #2 : Bill Wolfson Lianie Was Healthy

Malaysia’s longest serving hockey goalkeeper, S Kumar, met Bill Wolfson Lianie while conducting a goalkeeping skills clinic there on Saturday – the day before Bill died.

That was when he took this photo with Bill Wolfson Lianie, who wanted to emulate the veteran goalkeeper.

By all accounts, Bill Wolfson Lianie was healthy during the hockey camp, up until he suddenly started feeling uneasy on Sunday morning.

S Kumar said that when he found out, he was left fighting back tears thinking about the single mother losing her only son. It also brought back painful memories of his 3 year-old son, Harshenn who died from a fever in 2015.

Another Sarawakian athlete, Stephanie Sim, also died from a stroke earlier this year. Like Bill, she was perfectly healthy until she suddenly collapsed and went into a coma.

Fact #3 : Brain Haemorrhage Occurs Suddenly

A brain haemorrhage (also known as a cerebral haemorrhage) is a type of stroke that occurs when an artery in the brain ruptures and causes a loss of blood supply to the affected part of the brain.

The blood that pools in the brain not only increases pressure on the surrounding tissues, it irritates and causes them to swell as well – a condition known as cerebral oedema.

The pressure from the pooled blood (known as a haematoma) further cuts off blood supply, and kills even more brain cells. If not quickly removed or relieved, brain herniation may occur, eventually killing the person.

A brain haemorrhage is a sudden and extremely serious medical emergency that quickly results in the person losing consciousness and collapsing – precisely what happened to Bill Wolfson Lianie.

Fact #4 : Vaccines Cannot Cause A Brain Haemorrhage

Just in case there is any doubt – no, vaccines cannot cause a brain haemorrhage.

No matter how magical you believe vaccines are, they cannot go into your brain and cause an artery to burst.

Brain haemorrhages are often caused by trauma, but this is unlikely since Bill did not get hit on his head with a hockey stick.

Therefore, it is likely that he may have an aneurysm or even an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), both of which can present without symptoms for a lifetime, but can suddenly burst.

Fact #5 : Dr. James E. Olsson Died In 2006

Many of these fake news on sudden deaths being caused by COVID-19 vaccines are being propagated by a Twitter user who calls himself Dr. James E. Olsson.

That is a fake Twitter account, because the real Dr. James Eric Olsson died on July 24, 2006.

It has been pointed out by medical professionals many times that the person controlling this fake Twitter account has little to no knowledge of science or medicine, making many perplexing mistakes in his posts.

The occasionally odd grammar use also suggest that English may not be the first language of the person controlling the fake Dr. James E. Olsson account.

Fact #6 : Claims Of Athletes Dying From COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False
