Claim : Matthew Perry Died Suddenly From Vaccine Cardiac Arrest!

Right after news broke that Matthew Perry died suddenly in his Jacuzzi, anti-vaccine proponents immediately claimed that the beloved Friends actor died from a cardiac arrest caused by the COVID-19 vaccine!

Ada Lluch : Matthew Perry has been found dead at age 54 after a cardiac arrest.No drugs were found at the scene. He was a huge pro-vaccine promoter. Coincidence?

No Evidence Matthew Perry Died Suddenly From Vaccine Cardiac Arrest!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccine activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Matthew Perry Drowned In His Hot Tub

Matthew Perry (born Matthew Langford Perry on 19 August 1969) was most famous for starring as Chandler Bing in the NBC sitcom, Friends, from 1994 to 2004. He also appeared in Ally McBeal, The West Wing, The Odd Couple, and The Good Wife.

On Saturday, 28 October 2023, Matthew Perry played a two-hour game of pickleball in the morning, and then sent his assistant out on an errand. When his assistant returned two hours later, he discovered Matthew unresponsive, and underwater in his hot tub.

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed, saying:

West L.A. officers responded to [a residence] at 4:10 p.m. for a Death Investigation of a male in his 50s.

His assistant lifted his head from under the water, and tried to get him some air, and then called 911. But by the time first responders got to his Pacific Palisades home, Matthew Perry was already dead.

Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Erik Scott said:

Los Angeles City Firefighters responded [and] found an adult male unconscious in a stand-alone hot tub.

A bystander had brought the man’s head above the water and gotten him to the edge, then firefighters removed him from the water upon their arrival.

A rapid medical assessment, sadly, revealed the man was deceased prior to first responder arrival.

Fact #2 : Matthew Perry’s Cause Of Death Is Still Unknown

While all indications show that Matthew Perry died of drowning in his hot tub, his official cause of death is currently unknown.

There appears to be some confusion about the earlier claims of him dying from cardiac arrest, which stemmed from reports that first responders were called to the scene for a cardiac arrest.

The 15-second dispatch call has emerged, revealing that it was his assistant who reported a cardiac arrest to 911. But first responders were actually called to the scene for a drowning.

Agent 23. Rescue 23, EMS 9 [Emergency Medical Situation 9 refers to a drowning] on the radio. In response to the drowning.

It is unknown if he actually suffered a cardiac arrest. He could have fallen unconscious for any number of reasons. At this point in time – Matthew Perry’s official cause of death has not been revealed, or confirmed.

Fact #3 : Matthew Perry’s Cause Of Death Is Under Investigation

Captain Scot Williams of Los Angeles Police Department said that his Robbery-Homicide Division was investigating Matthew Perry’s sudden death, but no foul play was suspected at this time:

The Robbery-Homicide Division is handling the death investigation involving Matthew Perry and foul play is not suspected at this time.

While unnamed sources at the scene claimed that no drugs were found at the scene, the LAPD Captain Scot Williams refused to comment on what its officers recovered at the scene:

I will not comment on what was or was not recovered at the scene, as the investigation is ongoing.

Matthew Perry could have died suddenly from any number of reasons – a heart attack or a stroke, for example, which could hypothetically explain his drowning.

Until and unless his family, or the authorities, publicly reveal his cause of death, anyone who tells you that Matthew Perry died from this or that cause is just speculating at best.

Fact #4 : Matthew Perry’s Autopsy Report Was Deferred

An autopsy was conducted on Matthew Perry by the LA County Medical Examiner, and his body was marked as ready for release to his family.

However, the preliminary autopsy report (Case 2023-14789) stated that determination of his official cause of death was deferred, pending toxicology results which could take weeks to obtain.

Until the LA County Medical Examiner makes its final determination on his cause of death, anyone that tells you Matthew Perry died from this or that cause is just speculating at best.

Fact #5 : Matthew Perry Had Long History Of Substance Abuse

While it has been said that no drugs were found at the scene of his sudden death, Matthew Perry has a long history of substance abuse.

He started drinking at the age of 14, and later became addicted to Vicodin, Oxycontin, and Xanax. It was his Vicodin addition that led to a jet-ski accident, and his first stint in rehab in 1997 – at the height of his Friends fame.

In 2022, he told The New York Times how he spent $9 million fighting his addiction:

I would fake back injuries. I would fake migraine headaches. I had eight doctors going at the same time. I would wake up and have to get 55 Vicodin that day, and figure out how to do it.

When you’re a drug addict, it’s all math. I go to this place, and I need to take three. And then I go to this place, and I’m going to take five because I’m going to be there longer.

It’s exhausting but you have to do it or you get very, very sick. I wasn’t doing it to feel high or to feel good.

I certainly wasn’t a partier; I just wanted to sit on my couch, take five Vicodin and watch a movie. That was heaven for me. It no longer is… I’ve probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober.

According to Matthew Perry, he ended up in rehab at least 15 times, and had 14 stomach surgeries after suffering gastrointestinal perforations from his opioid abuse.

He also recounted in his 2022 memoir – Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing (US | UK | AU), that in 2018 – when he was 49 years old, and years before COVID-19 vaccines were invented – his colon burst from excessive opioid use, and he ended up in a coma for two weeks, and was hospitalised for five months.

The doctors told my family that I had a 2 percent chance to live. I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that’s called a Hail Mary. No one survives that.

To be clear – there is no evidence yet that Matthew Perry died suddenly from substance abuse. However, that is a possibility that the LA County Medical Examiner is looking into.

There is also the possibility that Matthew Perry may have suffered another stomach or intestinal perforation.

Fact #6 : Matthew Perry Was Possibly Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Matthew Perry did not publicly mention his COVID-19 vaccination status, so it is uncertain he was vaccinated against COVID-19. His family also has not mentioned his vaccination status.

The only “evidence” quoted by many people that Matthew Perry was vaccinated was his May 2021 tweet promoting a T-shirt with the words, “Could I BE Any More Vaccinated?”

Other than that single tweet, we really have no evidence that Matthew Perry was actually vaccinated against COVID-19. People claiming that was fully-vaccinated and/or boosted certainly offered no evidence to back up their claims.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated against COVID-19! After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States. Many people who died suddenly were found to be unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless his family reveals his COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who claims that Matthew Perry died from the COVID-19 vaccine is likely lying to you.

Fact #7 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Matthew Perry was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, it does not mean he died from the COVID-19 vaccine, as he would have received his doses more than two years ago!

He cannot possibly be suffering from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months or years later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITTdevelop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #5 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

So far, claims of sudden deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false in every instance. Here is the latest dozen of other false sudden death claims!

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next celebrity tragedy…

Chuck Callesto : BREAKING REPORT: Pfizer accused of NOT DISCLOSING the presence of the Simian Virus 40 [SV40] DNA sequence in its mRNA COV-D-19 vaccine.

The complete SV40 virus was ELIMINATED from Polio vaccines during the 1950s and 1960s because of concerns about its association with CANCER.

Truth : mRNA Vaccines Are Not Contaminated With SV40 DNA!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created / propagated by anti-vaccine proponents, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : SV40 Promoter Is Not SV40 Virus

First, I should point out that gene promoters are DNA sequences that stimulate gene expression, and have long been used in molecular biology.

The SV40 promoter is a DNA sequence that was derived from the SV40 (Simian Virus 40) virus, and is not the same thing as the SV40 virus DNA. Think of it as a genetic tool obtained from the SV40 virus, just like how botulinum toxin is a treatment derived from the bacteria, Clostridium botulinum.

Finding botulinum toxin in a vial of Botox does not mean there is bacteria in that vial. Similarly, finding the SV40 promoter in the Pfizer vaccine does not mean there is SV40 virus in the vaccine.

According to Professor David Gorski, a professor of surgery and oncology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, “the SV40 promoter-enhancer is often used in plasmids because it is a very strong promoter that can drive the production of lots of the desired mRNA encoded by the cDNA sequence attached to it.”

Fact #2 : SV40 Promoter Is Not Dangerous

Michael Imperiale, a molecular biologist at the University of Michigan Medical School, explained that the SV40 promoter, on its own, can’t cause cancer. The part of SV40 that’s potentially cancer-causing, known as the T-antigen, isn’t present in the vaccine.

Even the scientist whose testimony to the South Carolina Senate has been used to drive this controversy, has come out to dismiss the concerns that the SV40 promoter is dangerous, or can cause cancer:

It’s just the volume knob that drives high level expression of anything put under its control, which in this case is just an antibiotic resistance marker.

The fear about the SV40 sequences is total nonsense. The vaccine is not going to cause cancer. There is no cancer causing gene in the vaccine.

Fact #3 : mRNA Vaccines Are Not Contaminated With SV40 Virus

To be clear – mRNA vaccines do not contain the SV40 virus, because they were manufactured using in vitro transcription (IVT) technology.

The presence of the SV40 virus in some of the polio vaccine manufactured from 1955-1963 occurred because that vaccine was manufactured in monkey kidney cell cultures that were contaminated with the SV40 virus.

Even then, decades later, there is still no conclusive evidence that the SV40 virus can cause cancers in humans. However, out of an abundance of caution, the SV40 virus is considered to potentially cause cancer in humans.

There is no evidence to indicate the presence of SV40, a virus found in monkey kidneys that can potentially cause cancer in humans, in the formulation of COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #4 : Health Canada + EMA Confirm Residual DNA Meet Regulations

Health Canada actually wrote a detailed explanation (archive) of why DNA fragments are expected in mRNA vaccine manufacturing, and why the quantity in the vaccines is not a concern.

Plasmids are an essential starting material for the production of mRNA vaccines. During the downstream process in mRNA vaccine manufacturing, the plasmid DNA is digested with enzymes to small fragments, and further removed to a level of not more than 10 ng/human dose, which is in line with the World Health Organization’s recommendation concerning residual DNA in biological drugs. The DNA is digested with enzymes post-transcription.

Health Canada was aware of the presence of residual plasmid DNA as a process-related impurity during review and prior to the authorization of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. In addition, the release testing data for every COVID-19 vaccine lot released into the Canadian market were reviewed and deemed to meet the requirements approved by Health Canada. Furthermore, different assays assessing the same vaccine property, or even the same assay being performed in different laboratories, may generate different results.

It is important to assess the results using the authorized validated assays performed by the vaccine manufacturers to ensure that the quality of commercial vaccine lots are comparable to lots shown to be safe and efficacious in clinical studies.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) also concurred, stating that the SV40 sequence is considered “a non-functional part” of the DNA plasmid that was used to manufacture the mRNA vaccines:

We can confirm that an SV40 sequence is present in the DNA plasmid. The sequence is not directly relevant for plasmid production in E. coli or for the mRNA production process so it is considered to be a non-functional part of the structure of the source plasmid.

Specific sequences for the non-infectious parts of SV40 are commonly present in plasmids used for manufacturing of biological active substances. The sequence for non-infectious parts of SV40 is only a small fraction of the entire SV40 sequence.

While the full DNA sequence of the plasmid starting material was provided in the initial marketing authorisation application for Comirnaty, the applicant did not specifically highlight the SV40 sequence, as it was considered to be a non-functional part of the plasmid. They have since clarified this information in response to questions raised by EMA.

We would also like to point out that during the manufacturing process, this sequence and other plasmid DNA sequences are broken down and removed. Fragments of the SV40 sequence may only be present as residual impurities at very low levels that are routinely controlled.

In short – the mRNA vaccines meet regulatory limits for residual DNA. This isn’t new or shocking to Health Canada, or the EMA, or other regulatory agencies.

Fact #5 : mRNA Vaccines Meet Residual DNA Limits

The production of mRNA vaccines at scale do not use any animal cells, but is done through in vitro transcription (IVT). The enzyme DNase is then used to destroy the DNA template and polymerase used in the reaction, and further filtration can be performed to reduce the amount of DNA fragments.

In Canada, the limit was set at 10 ng of DNA per dose, which is in line with WHO recommendations. According to Health Canada, the mRNA vaccines all comply with this requirement.

The David J Speicher et al. preprint (which has not yet peer-reviewed) actually showed that the amount of residual DNA “contamination” was far below FDA regulatory limits.

As Professor David Gorski noted, the study authors found that the residual DNA in the mRNA vaccines was far below regulatory limits, and used a logarithmic scale to make them appear much closer to the limit than they really are:

Basically, by the authors’ own measurements, the amount of DNA/vial fell below the FDA guidance of 10 ng DNA/dose.

Did you also notice the little trick they did? They used a log scale to make the total DNA appear to be much closer to the FDA-recommended limit than it really is.

For instance, in all the Moderna vials, the amount of DNA isn’t half of the recommended limit, it’s less than one-tenth the recommended limit, and, in the case of the ori sequence, well under 1/100 of the limit.

The abstract itself even notes that the authors found DNA at “0.28 – 4.27 ng/dose and 0.22 – 2.43 ng/dose (Pfizer), and 0.01 -0.34 ng/dose and 0.25 – 0.78 ng/dose (Moderna), for ori and spike respectively measured by qPCR.”

So, from McKernan and Rose’s own data, the vial with the very highest concentration of DNA was one Pfizer vial that had less than one-half the maximum DNA amount recommended by the FDA, while the Moderna vial with the most plasmid DNA contamination had less than one-tenth the maximum recommended by the FDA.

In short – even the much touted Speicher preprint itself showed that the amount of residual DNA in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are far below regulatory limits.

The whole controversy is really much ado about nothing. What a bloody waste of time!

Fact #6 : Residual DNA Won’t Integrate Into Our Genome

The presence of residual DNA itself does not mean that they will integrate into our genome. For one thing – these are DNA fragments that have been broken down by the DNase enzyme.

Think of them as parts of a factory which were used to build the mRNA vaccine, but dismantled once the vaccine has been manufactured. Sure, the disposal team may have left a couple of bolts and screws lying on the floor, but can they be used to recreate the factory? No.

To be clear – neither the COVID-19 vaccines, not any residual DNA they may contain, can change our genome. On top of that, the vaccines are injected into the muscle, whose cells are “post-mitotic”, which means they are no longer able to change.

Claim : Viral Video Proves Japanese Food Is Highly Radioactive!

People are sharing a video on WhatsApp, TikTok and social media platforms, which claims to prove that Japanese food products are highly radioactive!

In the video, a man explains in Cantonese how he tested the radioactivity level of a Japanese food product, and found that it was highly radioactive.

This video is also being promoted by pro-CCP netizens, as well as the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛).

Truth : Video Does Not Prove Japanese Food Is Radioactive At All!

This is yet another example of FAKE VIDEOS circulating on WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : The Viral Video Is Several Months Old

Let me just start by pointing out that the viral video is several months old, coming to our attention in the middle of July 2023. The video was certainly recorded and distributed on WhatsApp, TikTok and other social media platforms in early July, if not earlier.

At that time, Japan had not yet released treated wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear power station into the Pacific Ocean. So it is impossible for the video to show radioactive food caused by the release of Fukushima nuclear plant’s treated water.

The Fukushima Nuclear Power Station (NPS) only started releasing its ALPS-treated and diluted water into the sea on the afternoon of Thursday, 24 August 2023 – about 6 weeks after the video first went viral on WhatsApp and social media platforms.

Fact #2 : The Viral Messages Are Misleading

The viral English and Chinese messages tied to this video are misleading. The man in the video never once mentioned that this food product was from Fukushima, or mentioned the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

With help from Yuh Hui and Adrian Tung, here is the English translation of what the man actually said in the viral video:

This is a radiation monitoring device.

Now, there is Japanese food that I placed on a bench over there. Now, I will walk towards it, and see how much radiation it has.

As I approach the Japanese food, the radiation reading goes up. Now, I place the device here (on the food). See how the radiation reading is very high. This is food from Japan.

See how the device gives a “beep beep” sound, and the screen turns red. The radiation reading is more than 400.

If you ever go to Japan, try not to eat the food there, or buy any food souvenirs for your relatives and friends. It will be terrible if they get radiation poisoning!

This food was given to me by a friend who bought it from Japan. I’m not going to eat it. I will accept it and will throw it away later.

Fact #3 : That Was An EMF Meter, Not A Geiger Counter

The man claimed in the viral video that he was using a radiation monitoring device. The truth is – he was just the ST1393 EMF Meter, which anyone can buy from Amazon for just $31.39. Here are other purchase options :

The ST1393 EMF meter is designed to detect and measure the electromagnetic radiation produced by magnetic and electric fields. It is not designed to detect nuclear radiation like alpha and beta particles, as well as gamma rays.

To detect ionising radiation from nuclear sources, he needs to use a Geiger counter, not an EMF meter.

As the manufacturer advertises, the ST1393 EMF testers is used to detect “electric field radiation” and “magnetic field emission” from mobile phones, hair dryer, computer, TV, printer, etc. It does NOT detect nuclear radiation!

Fact #3 : EMF Meter Likely Measured Static Electricity

In the video, the EMF meter was seen registering between 292 V/m and 441 V/m. That was the measurement of a static electric field, not nuclear radiation.

If you look closely, the meter says the unit is V/m (volts per meter), and the type is Electric Field. Nuclear radiation is measured in units like Becquerel (Bq) or Curie (Ci) or Sievert (Sv) or Rem (One Sv = 100 rem).

The EMF meter was very likely measuring the static electricity on the Japanese food product’s plastic polymer packaging. If the man tests other plastic packaging, he would likely register similar levels of static electricity.

In case you are worried about the “high” static electricity produced by Japanese food packaging, here are some common static electricity levels:

Natural electric field in atmosphere : 100 V/m
Electric field during thunderstorms : Up to several thousand V/m
Walking on non-conducting carpets : Up to 500,000 V/m
High voltage DC power lines : Up to 20,0000 V/m
Inside DC-powered electric trains : Up to 300 V/m

In other words – you do NOT need to worry about a few hundred volts per meter of static electricity!

Fact #4 : Induction Cooker Not Source Of Electric Field

Some sharp-eyed folks have pointed out that the man placed the Japanese food item on an induction cooker, and posited that the increase in electric field “radiation” was due to EM radiation from the induction cooker.

I have to point out that while it appears to be an induction cooker, it could potentially be a radiant cooker which come in similar designs, with a black glass top. You can only tell them apart when they are operating – the radiant cooker’s heating element will glow red, while induction cookers won’t.

In any case, an induction cooker works by inducing an electromagnetic field to transfer energy to a magnetic pan / pot. So the EMF meter should have registered a magnetic field as well.

Since the video showed no magnetic field, the induction cooker was not powered and would not have affected the results.

Fact #4 : EM Radiation Is Not Nuclear Radiation

Electromagnetic (EM) radiation is a form of radiation, but it is not the same as nuclear radiation.

EM radiation is wide-ranging, and includes everything from visible light to radio waves, microwaves, infrared to X-rays. It is emitted by everything from the sun to computers and smartphones.

Nuclear radiation, on the other hand, consists mainly of Alpha particles, Beta particles, and Gamma rays, that are produced as a result of a nuclear reaction, or radioactive decay.

It is like comparing bicycles with cars. They are both vehicles (radiation), but a bicycle (electromagnetic radiation) is different from a car (nuclear radiation). Getting hit by a bicycle is also very different than getting hit by a car!

Some people are sharing an article by The Epoch Times, which claimed / suggested that Health Canada just confirmed the presence of SV40 (Simian Virus 40) DNA in the Pfizer mRNA vaccine for COVID-19!

The complete SV40 virus was ELIMINATED from Polio vaccines during the 1950s and 1960s because of concerns about its association with CANCER.

The health regulator says Pfizer did not disclose the presence of the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) DNA sequence in its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at the time of filing.

Health Canada has confirmed the presence of a Simian Virus 40 (SV40) DNA sequence in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, which the manufacturer had not previously disclosed. There is debate among scientists with regards to the significance of the finding, with some saying it has the potential to cause cancer, and others saying it poses little to no threat.

“Health Canada expects sponsors to identify any biologically functional DNA sequences within a plasmid (such as an SV40 enhancer) at the time of submission,” the agency said in an email to The Epoch Times.

“Although the full DNA sequence of the Pfizer plasmid was provided at the time of initial filing, the sponsor did not specifically identify the SV40 sequence.”

The regulator said that after scientists Kevin McKernan and Dr. Phillip J. Buckhaults publicly raised the presence of SV40 enhancers in the vaccines earlier this year, “it was possible for Health Canada to confirm the presence of the enhancer based on the plasmid DNA sequence submitted by Pfizer against the published SV40 enhancer sequence.”

Truth : Health Canada Only Confirmed SV40 Enhancer Sequence In Pfizer Vaccine!

Let’s take a closer look at what Health Canada said about the presence of SV40 DNA in the Pfizer mRNA vaccine for COVID-19!

Fact #1 : SV40 Promoter Is Not SV40 Virus

First, I should point out that gene enhancers and promoters are DNA sequences that stimulate gene expression, and have long been used in molecular biology.

Finding botulinum toxin in a vial of Botox does not mean there is bacteria in that vial. Similarly, finding the SV40 promoter in the Pfizer vaccine does not mean there is SV40 in the vaccine. To be clear – mRNA vaccines do not contain the SV40 virus:

There is no evidence to indicate the presence of SV40, a virus found in monkey kidneys that can potentially cause cancer in humans, in the formulation of COVID-19 vaccines.

– Alessandro Faia, spokesperson for the European Medicines Agency (EMA)

Fact #2 : Pfizer DNA Plasmid Won’t Integrate With Genome

In response to The Epoch Times‘ question about SV40 plasmids integrating into the genome, Health Canada explained why that is simply not possible (archive):

The Pfizer DNA plasmid used to produce the COVID-19 vaccine is distinct from DNA adenovirus vectors in sequence and biological functions.

Furthermore, the Pfizer plasmid does not contain sequences corresponding to SV40 proteins studied in the paper cited. Therefore, the integration mechanisms described are not applicable.

Fact #3 : Health Canada Confirms mRNA Vaccines Meet Regulatory Limit

Health Canada actually wrote a detailed explanation (archive) of why DNA fragments are expected in mRNA vaccine manufacturing, and why the quantity in the vaccines is not a concern.

In short – the mRNA vaccines approved in Canada meet regulatory limits for residual DNA. This isn’t new or shocking to Health Canada, or other regulatory agencies.

Fact #4 : McKernan Study Is In Dispute

The Epoch Times had earlier written about the McKernan et al. preprint (which has not yet peer-reviewed that fuelled the SV40 promoter DNA in Pfizer vaccine controversy.

The problem though was – the study tested vials of “unknown provenance” which were sent to the authors “anonymously in the mail without cold packs“. Even though they claimed that the vials were “unopened”, it was impossible to know if they were tampered with.

In addition, qualifying residual DNA levels is based on measurements relative to RNA levels. Because the vials were not kept cold, their contents would certainly have been degraded. Since RNA is less stable than DNA and would degrade far more under such conditions, it would likely have resulted in abnormal DNA-RNA levels by the time the tests were conducted.

Finally, the McKernan preprint itself showed that the amount of residual DNA in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are far below regulatory limits. So it was really much ado about nothing!

Fact #5 : SV40 Promoter Does Not Cause Cancer

The Epoch Times article suggested that there is a risk of the SV40 promoter causing cancer. That has been refuted by scientists:

It’s just the volume knob that drives high level expression of anything put under its control, which in this case is just an antibiotic resistance marker.

The fear about the SV40 sequences is total nonsense. The vaccine is not going to cause cancer. There is no cancer causing gene in the vaccine.

– Phillip Buckhaults, director of the Cancer Genetics Lab at the University of South Carolina

The SV40 promoter, on its own, can’t cause cancer. The part of SV40 that’s potentially cancer-causing, known as the T-antigen, isn’t present in the vaccine.

– Michael Imperiale, molecular biologist at the University of Michigan Medical School

Fact #6 : mRNA Vaccines Meet Residual DNA Limits

It was the use of an incorrect DNase stock that resulted in a batch of Pfizer vaccines having more residual DNA than usual – 815 ng of DNA per mL of RNA. Other than that one batch, all other batches had at most – 211 ng of DNA per mL of RNA, which was below the “commercial acceptance criterion” of the European Medicines Agency of ≤330 ng of DNA / per mg of RNA.

In Canada, the limit was set at 10 ng of DNA per dose, which is in line with WHO recommendations. According to Health Canada, the mRNA vaccines all comply with this requirement.

Here is the takeaway – any mRNA vaccine that does not meet regulatory limits would not be allowed to be used.

Fact #7 : Residual DNA Won’t Integrate Into Our Genome

The presence of residual DNA itself does not mean that they will integrate into our genome. For one thing – these are DNA fragments that have been broken down by the DNase enzyme.

Think of them as parts of a factory which was used to build the mRNA vaccine, but dismantled once the vaccine has been manufactured. Sure, the disposal team may have left a couple of bolts and screws lying on the floor, but can they be used to recreate the factory? No.

Some people are sharing articles by American Faith and Epoch Health, which claim / suggest that a new German study found that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines created spike proteins in human heart cells. resulting in heart abnormalities.

Steve Kirsch : Wait a second. I thought these vaccines were safe and effective? Why are they attacking heart cells?

Chief Nerd : New research out of Germany observing rat and human heart cells shows that within 48 hours of vaccination, the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines form spike proteins. Spike proteins, made from the mRNA instructions inside the vaccines, were detected in the heart cells. While both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines caused cell abnormalities, the two induced different anomalies.

Truth : Study Showed mRNA Vaccine Effect On Rat Heart Cells!

Let’s take a look at what we know about this new study, and see what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : Study Was Peer-Reviewed

First, I should point out that this is a peer-reviewed study that was published in a reputable journal – the British Journal of Pharmacology. So it’s not like the “Belgian study” that allegedly showed that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine causes turbo cancer.

That said – the pre-publication peer review is only the first step in scientific review process. After its publication, it is still subject to post-publication peer review, including verification and further research by other scientists.

Fact #2 : Study Is Not Available Publicly

I should also point out that the study itself is hidden behind a paywall, with only a brief abstract available publicly. This is important because without knowing the details, it is simply impossible to know the accuracy or significance of this study. As they say – the devil is in the details.

Fortunately, it appears that Dr. Ralf B. Lukner MD PhD has access to the study itself, and has provided some important insights into this study. So this fact check will rely on both his insights, and what’s available publicly.

Fact #3 : Study Was Conducted On Rat Heart Cells

According to the public abstract of the study, it was conducted on isolated rat cardiomyocytes (RCm) over a 72 hour period.

Basically, the study did not involve any human beings or even live animals. Instead, it used single heart muscle cells from a rat.

Even though both American Faith and Epoch Health claimed that the study involved human heart cells, the abstract itself did not mention any human heart cells being used.

In real life, the COVID-19 vaccines are injected into the deltoid muscle of a human being, and not into the heart of a rat. In real life, heart muscle cells also do not soak in a bath of hyper-concentrated COVID-19 vaccine for 3 days.

So it is important to understand that this is not at all representative of what actually happens in a human being, or even a live rat…

Fact #4 : Study Used Very High Vaccine Doses

According to Dr. Lukner, the study used very high doses of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines:

Pfizer : 1 μg/mL
Moderna : 10 μg/mL

In contrast, human beings – which have 36 trillion more cells, only receive 30 μg of the Pfizer vaccine, or 100 μg of the Moderna vaccine.

By my estimate, the doses used in this study are far beyond what any human being will ever receive in a million lifetimes:

Pfizer : 1.2 trillion vaccine doses
Moderna : 3.6 trillion vaccine doses

As any scientist can tell you – the dose makes the poison. At sufficiently high doses, all chemicals – including water and oxygen – can be toxic.

Fact #5 : It Was A Laboratory Study

I should also point out the salient fact that it was a laboratory study (also known as an in vitro study), not a clinical study.

In-vitro studies are important, but they cannot be extrapolated to make any conclusion about what actually happens in a human body.

For example, laboratory studies showed that hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin have an inhibitory effect on the SARS-CoV-2 virus; but once tested in actual human beings – they were shown to have no clinical benefit.

In other words – what happens in a laboratory, may not happen in an actual human being.

Fact #6 : Nothing Happened Until Spike Proteins Were Created

Interestingly, the study authors pointed out that both Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines did not affect the rat heart muscle cells in any way, until they started producing the spike protein after 48 hours of soaking in a bath of vaccine.

Assuming that this can be replicated by other scientists, this suggests a couple of things:

the rat heart muscle cells are not affected by the presence of the mRNA vaccine itself
the rat heart muscle cells only “malfunctioned” after they created the spike proteins

Is it therefore possible that the rat heart muscle cells might be malfunctioning because they were overwhelmed by the extremely high vaccine doses into excessively creating the spike proteins, instead of performing their normal functions?

Is it also possible that the spike proteins caused morphological changes (shape, size, texture, etc.) that disrupted the rat heart muscle cells’ ability to contract properly?

Needless to say – MORE research is needed before any conclusion can be made about the mRNA vaccine’s cardiotoxic effects in rats, never mind any potential cardiotoxic effects in actual human beings.

Fact #7 : COVID-19 Infections Produce Far More Spike Proteins!

It is important to point out that unlike the SARS-CoV-2 virus, COVID-19 vaccines do not multiply and can only induce a limited number of cells to produce the spike protein. And again – the vaccines are injected into the arm, and not the heart.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus, on the other hand, will spread through the body, creating spike proteins in a multitude of cells. If the spike proteins are the problem, which this study suggests, then a COVID-19 infection poses a far greater threat than the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #8 : COVID-19 Infections Cause Heart Problems

Finally, I should point out that COVID-19 infections are known to cause heart problems, even in people who recover.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus does not only cause myocarditis, it can also damage heart muscle tissue directly. COVID-19 infections have also been shown to cause serious ventricular arrhythmias, and even inflame the coronary arteries.

The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 are already known to cause pericarditis and myocarditis in young males, but this is a relatively rare cardiac side effect and generally milder than if caused by COVID-19 infections.

That’s why health authorities across the world continue to advocate getting the COVID-19 vaccines. After all – the risk of getting myocarditis from multiple doses of the vaccines are much lower than the risk of getting myocarditis from a single COVID-19 infection!

The 3rd batch of Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water schedule to be released during Japan’s 3rd round of ocean discharge is reported to contains radionuclides including carbon-14, cobalt 60, strontium-90 & others, according to pre-discharge test results released by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO).

第一轮排放时间为8月24日，第二轮排放时间为10月5日。钴60和锶90将对人类健康和环境产生重大影响。
The 1st round of discharge was on August 24 & 2nd round discharge on October 5. cobalt 60 & strontium-90 will significantly impact human health & the environment.

Truth : Treated Fukushima Water Far Below Radioactive Limits

This is yet another example of MISINFORMATION surrounding the release of treated waste water from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station (NPS), and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Only Chinese Media Are Reporting A Problem

One of the first things I did was to look up any problems related to the third batch of waste water released by the Fukushima NPS. Interestingly, this topic appears to have been addressed by three Chinese state media outlets:

Xinhua : Multiple radionuclides detected in Fukushima nuke wastewater planned for 3rd round of ocean discharge
China Daily : Multiple radionuclides detected in Fukushima nuke wastewater planned for 3rd round of ocean discharge
CGTN : TEPCO: Multiple radionuclides detected in Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water in third round of ocean discharge

They all appear to have the same content, because they appear to have been syndicated from Xinhua.

No other news media from any other country in the world – not just from Western countries – have reported any problem with the TEPCO report.

Fact #2 : TEPCO Report Showed No Issues

TEPCO actually has a dedicated portal that publishes testing data and other updates on the ALPS-treated water at the Fukushima NPS.

The 10 July 2023 analysis of ALPS-treated water from the K4-A tank mentioned in the Xinhua, China Daily and CGTN articles, is actually available for the public to read in English.

Anyone who reads through it will quickly realise that the report clearly states that:

39 radionuclides were confirmed not to be significantly present.
29 radionuclides were confirmed to be 74% less than discharge standard.
the amount of tritium was 130,000 Bq/L, but dropped to less than 1,500 Bq/L after dilution.

Yes, radionuclides other than tritium were found to be present in the ALPS-treated water. However, they were all found to be insignificant, or far below the discharge standard, and this was before the water was diluted.

In other words – the TEPCO report on the 10 July 2023 analysis showed that it was complying with regulations.

Fact #3 : Independent Analysis Confirmed TEPCO Report

The Japan Atomic Energy Agency also conducted an independent analysis of the 10 July 2023 ALPS-treated water sample through its Okuma Analysis and Research Center.

Its separate and independent analysis (PDF download) confirmed that:

nuclides other than tritium which have been purified to below the regulatory limit by ALPS treatment.
the concentrations of 29 nuclides was 26% of regulatory limits
the concentrations of 39 nuclides were “not significantly present”
tritium level was around 130,000 Bq/L in the undiluted water.

That is likely why no other news media has reported on any problems with this report – because it did not reveal any actual problem with the ALPS-treated water…

Yes, the Fukushima water is still radioactive after being filtered and treated, but the amount of radionuclides are far below regulatory limits.

Fact #4 : Fukushima Will Release Less Tritium Than Chinese Nuclear Plants

Perhaps pro-CCP netizens and the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛) would do well to understand this English idiom – People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

What Chinese citizens and perhaps, most people around the world, may not realise is that Chinese nuclear power stations routinely discharge many times more tritium than the Fukushima NPS.

In fact, an official Chinese government report actually revealed that the Qinshan nuclear power plant discharged over 14X more tritium than what the Fukushima NPS will discharge.

If the release of tritium and other radionuclides are such a danger, perhaps we should all be demanding that the regulatory standards be TIGHTENED for ALL nuclear power plants across the world.

Fact #5 : This Is Just Fake News About Fukushima

There is no doubt that Japan is facing a LOT of criticism over its release of the Fukushima waste water, even though IAEA and many experts have endorsed the plan.

However, this is just another example of FAKE NEWS being created around the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster. Here are other examples I fact checked earlier:

Aaron Siri posted that article on his Substack on 17 November 2021, and based on the time, the screenshot was likely taken on 17 or 18 November 2021.

Why would DiedSuddenly repost this screenshot almost 2 years later?

Fact #2 : FDA Did Not Ask To Fully Release Pfizer Vaccine Data By 2076

First, let me be clear – the US FDA did not ask to fully release the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine data only by the year 2076. In fact, as best as I could tell – the FDA never mentioned the date 2076.

That appears to be the “interpretation” of Aaron Siri, the lawyer working for PHMPT (Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency) – the group requesting the data that the FDA used to licence the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

As you will see below, it appears to be based on ignoring facts and basic math…

Fact #3 : FDA Has To Redact Files Before They Are Released

It is not simply a matter of handing over the documents to PHMPT. The FDA has to go through every document and redact information that are exempt from disclosure under FOIA, before it can release them.

That process is not only time-consuming, it is resource-intensive because it requires government information specialists to review each page line-by-line.

The FDA estimated that it would take 8 minutes per page to read and review records for FOIA production.

Fact #4 : FDA Had 400 Other Pending FOIA Requests

The FOIA request by PHMPT is being handled by the Access Litigation and Freedom of Information Branch at the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER).

That is a small department with just ten employees, including the director and two trainees. So they really only had just seven people who were trained well enough to process FOIA requests.

At that time, that small team was processing “approximately 400 currently pending FOIA requests“, while being embroiled in “6 active FOIA litigation matters“.

Needless to say, the heavy workload greatly limits how many pages this office can go through and redact every month.

Fact #5 : PHMPT Demanded 329,000 Pages!

The FDA asked PHMPT to narrow their request by specifying records they don’t require, so they can focus on processing the important documents they need.

The PHMPT, however, insisted that the FDA process and deliver ALL documents related to the approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine – some 329,000 pages!

That would require a processing rate of over 80,000 pages per month – far in excess of what the FDA FOIA office is capable of handling.

Fact #6 : FDA Vaccine Approval Is Different From FOIA Process

It seems obvious, but it has to be said – the FDA vaccine approval process is different from the FOIA process.

The vaccine approval process involves FDA scientists evaluating the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for the EUA (Emergency Use Authorisation) or full FDA approval.

The FOIA process, on the other hand, involves FDA information specialists going through each page line-by-line to identify and redact proprietary information.

Fact #7 : FDA Vaccine Approval Process Adds A Ton Of New Documents

The FDA vaccine approval team went through fewer documents, because they only need to look at relevant information provided by Pfizer and BioNTech.

The FDA team in charge of this FOIA request would necessarily have to go through far more documents, because the approval process itself adds a ton of new documentation.

Even the PHMPT acknowledged that, specifically asking for “all correspondence and written summaries of oral discussions” related to the FDA approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Hence, it is ludicrous for the PHMPT to suggest that the two processes were similar in effort and time.

Fact #8 : FDA Processes FOIA Requests In 500-Page Blocks

The FDA processes FOIA requests in 500-page blocks, which allow them to provide documents to more requesters, and avoid a few large requests monopolising their “finite processing resources”.

This is not a special processing limitation on the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine data, but a standard FDA processing rate that the courts have upheld for a long time.

Fact #9 : FDA Processing FOIA Requests Faster Than Proposed

The FDA was able to process some records faster than the 500-page rate, as they noted in their 6 December 2021 brief. They also said that they can release more than 12,000 pages by end of January 2022.

Even back in December 2021, the FDA was doing above and beyond what it pledged to do, delivering almost 5000 pages per month – about 10X its promised rate.

At that rate, the FDA would finish processing 329,000 pages in 69 months – just under 6 years. Obviously, 6 years is far less than the 55 years claimed… and would put the end date at sometime in 2027, not 2076.

Fact #10 : It Would Take PHMPT Months To Read Everything

PHMPT stated that they are a group of over 30 people. Let’s say they are 35 strong, and they take the same 8 minutes to read through each page.

Even if they all sat down and read for 8 hours a day, it would take them over 7 months just to read through the 329,000 pages ONCE.

And it should be noted that this involves 5X more people than the FDA FOIA team, and they are all dedicated to this singular task of reading those Pfizer documents.

Fact #11 : PHMPT Took Almost 108 Days To Read 5 Documents!

PHMPT took almost 108 days to read through the first batch of five documents that the FDA released to them on 17 November 2021.

It was only in early March 2022 when they found the 9 pages listing some 1,291 adverse events of special interest.

This not only proves that the FDA was right about how much time it takes to read these documents, it also shows that the PHMPT does not really need all 329,000 documents within 108 days.

After all, it took the PHMPT almost that long just to read 5 documents! At this rate, it will take them some 16,450 years to read all 329,000 Pfizer documents…

Fact #12 : FDA Released Almost All Of PHMPT Priority List By Jan 2022

PHMPT appears to be cognisant that it is stupid to request for “everything” when most of the pages may not be relevant at all.

That’s why they sent the FDA a priority list of eight (8) items. And guess what – the US FDA was able to provide seven (7) of those items by January 31, 2022!

So Aaron Siri’s public griping about the FDA taking so long appears to be nothing more than theatre.

Fact #13 : Judge Asked FDA To Release 55,000 Pages A Month

On 6 January 2022, US District Judge Mark Pittman ordered a compromise, noting that “the Court recognises the “unduly burdensome” challenges that this FOIA request may present to the FDA“.

The FDA will produce “more than 12,000 pages” as it proposed, by 31 January 2022.
The FDA will produce the remaining documents at a rate of 55,000 pages per month, starting 1 March 2022.

Granted, the FDA did not win the right to continue processing at its own pace, but neither did the judge agree to let PHMPT force the FDA to deliver all documents within 108 days. It was ultimately a compromise.

For certain, Judge Pittman’s order would mean that the FDA would have to fully release the Pfizer vaccine documents by August 2022!

His January 2022 judgement effectively wiped out the claim that FDA will only fully release the data by 2076. So it is curious why the DiedSuddenly account on X (formerly Twitter) would repost this old claim…

Some people are sharing a new study in the British Journal of Pharmacology, suggesting / claiming that it shows the cardiac side effects of mRNA vaccines.

Truth : Study Showed mRNA Vaccine Effect On Rat Cardiac Cells

Let’s take a look at what we know about this new study, and see what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : Study Was Peer-Reviewed

Fact #2 : Study Is Not Available Publicly

Fact #3 : Study Was Conducted On Rat Cardiac Cells

According to the public abstract of the study, it was conducted on isolated rat cardiomyocytes (RCm) over a 72 hour period.

Basically, the study did not involve any human beings or even live animals. Instead, it used heart muscle cells from a rat.

So it is important to understand that this is not at all representative of what actually happens in a human being, or even a live rat…

Fact #4 : Study Used Very High Vaccine Doses

According to Dr. Lukner, the study used very high doses of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines:

Pfizer : 1 μg/mL
Moderna : 10 μg/mL

In contrast, human beings – which have 36 trillion more cells, only receive 30 μg of the Pfizer vaccine, or 100 μg of the Moderna vaccine.

By my estimate, the doses used in this study are far beyond what any human being will ever receive in a million lifetimes:

Pfizer : 1.2 trillion vaccine doses
Moderna : 3.6 trillion vaccine doses

As any scientist can tell you – the dose makes the poison. At sufficiently high doses, all chemicals – including water and oxygen – can be toxic.

Fact #5 : It Was A Laboratory Study

I should also point out the salient fact that it was a laboratory study (also known as an in vitro study), not a clinical study.

In-vitro studies are important, but they cannot be extrapolated to make any conclusion about what actually happens in a human body.

In other words – what happens in a laboratory, may not happen in an actual human being.

Fact #6 : Nothing Happened Until Spike Proteins Were Created

Interestingly, the study authors pointed out that both Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines did not affect the rat cardiac muscle cells in any way, until they started producing the spike protein after 48 hours of soaking in a bath of vaccine.

Assuming that this can be replicated by other scientists, this suggests a couple of things:

the rat cardiac muscle cells are not affected by the presence of the mRNA vaccine itself
the rat cardiac muscle cells only “malfunctioned” after they created the spike proteins

Is it therefore possible that the rat cardiac muscle cells might be malfunctioning because they were overwhelmed by the extremely high vaccine doses into excessively creating the spike proteins, instead of performing their normal functions?

Is it also possible that the spike proteins caused morphological changes (shape, size, texture, etc.) that disrupted the rat heart muscle cells’ ability to contract properly?

Claim : Ray Stevenson Died Suddenly From Vaccine SADS!

Right after news broke that Ray Stevenson died after being hospitalised, anti-vaccination activists immediately claimed that the Irish actor died from COVID-19 vaccine sudden adult death syndrome (SADS)!

A real shocker – a big man in every sense of the word, his career in full flow no indications of any illness! Taken ill while working – all in the era of covid vaccines

Ray Stevenson just died yesterday at the age of 58. Clean bill of health, but just dropped dead yesterday for no apparent reason, cause of death has not yet been disclosed which is normally the case of Vaccine related deaths.

One of my favorite actors, Ray Stevenson, has died. A gentle giant, he will be sorely missed.

Sudden illness? Again. The jab took another good person.

No Evidence Ray Stevenson Died From Vaccine SADS!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccine activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Ray Stevenson Died While Filming In Italy

Ray Stevenson (born George Raymond Stevenson on 25 May 1964) was an Irish actor who starred in King Arthur, the Thor movies, as well as the HBO series, Rome, and the Star Wars series, Ahsoka.

According to Italian newspaper, La Repubblica, Ray Stevenson was filming Cassino in Ischia in Italy, when he suffered “a sudden illness that required hospitalisation” on Saturday afternoon, 20 May 2023.

His condition was “very serious” when he was hospitalised, and worsened the next day, and he died on Sunday morning, 21 May 2023 – four days before his 59th birthday.

Ray Stevenson was survived by his wife, Italian anthropologist Elisabetta Caraccia, and their three sons.

Fact #2 : Ray Stevenson’s Cause Of Death Is Unknown

Ray Stevenson’s cause of death is currently unknown. Neither his representative, nor his family, have publicly announced his cause of death.

Ray Stevenson could have died suddenly from any number of reasons – a heart attack or a stroke, for example, which could hypothetically explain his hospitalisation before his death.

Until and unless his representative, family, or the Italian authorities, publicly reveal his cause of death, anyone who tells you that Ray Stevenson died from this or that cause is just likely lying to you.

Fact #3 : Ray Stevenson May Have Died Of Heart Attack

It has been said that the Italian media reported that his death was caused by a heart attack precipitated by an anaphylactic shock, and severe pneumonia.

He was on set Saturday afternoon when he was rushed to the hospital for a heart attack linked to a serious one anaphylactic shock: He was immediately transported to the recovery room, but doctors discovered that his lungs were seriously compromised. So much so that a post announcing his death had already appeared on the net that day.

According to the Italian newspapers Il Corriere della Sera and Il Mattino, the Northern Irish actor Ray Stevenson died of a heart attack caused by a severe anaphylactic shock.

While it is certainly plausible Ray Stevenson died from a heart attack, it is impossible to find any corroboration of these claims.

Of course, if Ray Stevenson died from a heart attack, it would certainly rule out the claim that he died from COVID-19 vaccine SADS, or a vaccine side effect. COVID-19 vaccines do not cause heart attacks.

mRNA vaccines can cause anaphylaxis in rare cases, but within minutes of administration. Unless Ray Stevenson received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine mere minutes before his “medical emergency”, it is unlikely COVID-19 vaccines had anything to do with his death.

Fact #3 : Unknown If Ray Stevenson Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Ray Stevenson did not publicly mention his COVID-19 vaccination status, so it is currently unknown if he was vaccinated against COVID-19. His family has also not mentioned his vaccination status.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated against COVID-19! After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United Kingdom. Many people who died suddenly were found to be unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless his family reveals his COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who claims that Ray Stevenson died from the COVID-19 vaccine is likely lying to you.

Fact #4 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Ray Stevenson was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, it does not mean he died from the COVID-19 vaccine, as he would have received his doses many months ago!

He cannot possibly be suffering from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.
