Right after Univision hosted a town hall for Kamala Harris on Thursday, 10 October 2024, some people claimed or suggested that the Vice President was caught using a teleprompter!

Truth : Univision did not show Kamala Harris using a teleprompter!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created about Kamala Harris, and here are the reasons why…

Kamala Harris did not use a teleprompter

First, let me just point out that Kamala Harris did not use a teleprompter during her Univision town hall.

The teleprompter seen in the video was used by the Univision moderator, Enrique Acevedo, and it displayed his introduction (in Spanish), as confirmed by Enrique Acevedo himself:

The prompter displayed my introduction (in Spanish) and then it switched to a timer. Any claim to the contrary is simply untrue.

Some sharp-eyed commentators have pointed out that in the HD version of the video, part of the teleprompter text can be seen – “Y ahora vamos con…”

The teleprompter was later switched to a timer, which you can see at around 16:26 of the full Univsion Town Hall livestream video. It then displayed the moderator’s outro text at the end.

The Univision town hall producer, Daniel Cornell, also confirmed that the teleprompter only displayed text in Spanish for its moderator, Enrique Acevedo:

That’s not true. The teleprompter that displays a text written in Spanish was a support element for the town hall moderator. I can tell you this with first-hand knowledge because I was in charge of the television program.

This is the same setup that will be used next week when Univision holds a similar town hall for Donald Trump.

Ultimately, this is yet another attempt by MAGA Trump supporters to create controversy where none exists, because they have nothing better to take down Kamala Harris’ campaign.

This is just political fake news

Some people are claiming or suggesting that the $750 Serious Needs Assistance is really a loan, and FEMA will seize your property if you fail to repay it!

Truth : FEMA will not seize your property if you don’t repay $750 assistance!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created about FEMA, and here are the reasons why…

$750 FEMA assistance does not need to be repaid

Let me start by pointing out that the $750 FEMA assistance is called the Serious Needs Assistance. The $750 is a one-time payment per household that is given by FEMA, and does not need to be repaid.

FEMA issues this payment to disaster survivors who apply within the first 30 days after a disaster is declared in the area, and is meant as initial and immediate assistance to help survivors cover “essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies“.

To be clear – FEMA will not be asking you to repay the $750 one-time immediate assistance payment, and obviously, it is not going to seize your property!

FEMA refuted claims $750 needs to be repaid

FEMA had earlier addressed the misinformation on 30 September 2024:

Myth: FEMA grant money is a loan that I will need to pay back.

Fact: FEMA disaster assistance are grants which do not need to be repaid.

But when the claims went viral, FEMA spokesperson Jaclyn Rothenberg refuted those claims, stating clearly that Hurricane Helene victims do not need to repay the $750 assistance.

This is not true. We do not ask for this money back.

So you have to wonder – what kind of person would mislead disaster victims so they won’t accept this free $750 assistance that they desperately need???

FEMA immediate assistance was $500 under Trump

This one-time payment by FEMA isn’t new. In fact, the Serious Needs Assistance was also issued under the Trump Administration, albeit at a lower sum of $500 per household.

After Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and Louisiana in August 2017, FEMA issued one-time payments of $500 to cover “critical needs” like diapers, infant formula, food and fuel (source | source).

If the same FEMA assistance was a payment that does not need to be repaid under the Trump Administration, why would anyone suggest that it is now a loan under the Biden Administration that must be repaid within a year???

You only need to repay FEMA for an advance on insurance settlement

Some people are sharing a screenshot (example), as “evidence” that you need to repay the $750. That’s simply not true.

That is actually a screenshot of a FEMA article (archive), which explained that FEMA grants “do not have to be paid back” in most cases.

The portion highlighted as “evidence” actually refers to an advance on insurance money that some disaster victims may request from FEMA if their insurance claims are delayed. Obviously, such an advance will need to be repaid when the victims receive their insurance settlement!

Does help from FEMA have to be paid back?

No. In most cases, FEMA grants do not have to be paid back. If you have insurance that covers your temporary housing costs, but ask FEMA to advance you some money to help you pay for those costs while your insurance is delayed, you will need to pay that money back to FEMA after your receive your insurance settlement.

Video was cropped

Let me start by pointing out that the video posted on X (formerly Twitter) was edited – cropped so that the TikTok video creator’s name is truncated. Why would anyone do that?

The original video was posted by @phillyoffensive23 (now removed), and reposted (archive) on Sunday, 6 October 2024 by jmofundir2 on Instagram.

Oddly enough, the Instagram video did not have the jmofundir2 Instagram overlay, which is visible on the version circulating on X. In any case, the version circulating on X appears to have been edited from the version jmofundir2 posted on Instagram.

It was a satirical skit, a joke video

The video was actually a satirical skit – a joke video, created and posted by @phillyoffensive23 on TikTok.

The original video appears to have been removed or made private, but you can see that @phillyoffensive23 regularly posts such satirical or joke videos on his TikTok channel.

This is just political fake news

People are sharing an article (archive) by The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch), which claimed or suggested that the police discovered but covered up a dirty bomb found at a Trump rally in Long Island!

Police Discover Dirty Bomb at New York Trump Rally – Cover Up Exposed

An explosive device was found at Donald Trump’s Long Island rally yesterday by a bomb-detecting dog, as the global elite’s plan to detonate a dirty bomb at a Trump event inches closer to reality.

Now the mainstream media and the Deep State security apparatus are desperately trying to censor and cover up this information, just as they did after the Butler Park, Pennsylvania assassination attempt. Why? Because the evidence is damning and it implicates those at the very top of the globalist hierarchy.

As thousands of MAGA descended upon Long Island today ahead of the evening rally at the Nassau Coliseum, reports emerged of an explosive device found in a car.

Footage from the event shows police caution tape blocking off a road while dozens of Trump supporters make their way to the rally.

According to the Daily Mail, sources in the Nassau County Police Department had allegedly told journalist James Lalino earlier Wednesday that the rally site ‘perimeter was breached and a blue barrel was removed.’

In addition, during the K9 sweep they apparently ‘found an explosive device in one of the vehicles.’
The sources allegedly said the driver ended up running into the woods. Why isn’t this bigger news? Because the media decided to cover up the truth.

The mainstream media began to change the narrative and quotes began emerging from the Nassau County Police Department stating that everything was under control and there was nothing to see here. There is just one problem. That’s not what eyewitnesses are saying.

Truth : Police did not discover and cover up dirty bomb at Trump rally!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

There was no dirty bomb at the Trump rally

Let me start by pointing out that the police did not locate any dirty bomb – a bomb designed to disperse radioactive material. In fact, there was no report of any dirty bomb being discovered or reported at any Trump rally.

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice article did not provide any evidence that a dirty bomb was discovered or planned for the Trump rally on Long Island. Neither did it provide any evidence the police covered up a dirty bomb.

There was only an unverified report of an explosive device

In fact, this controversy appears to be based on an unverified report (archive) by James Lalino on 18 September 2024 that “sources in the Nassau County Police Department” told him that its K9 unit found an explosive device in one of the vehicles, whose driver ran off into the woods:

Sources in the Nassau County Police Department just told me that “the perimeter was breached and a blue barrel was removed” from the area surrounding tonight’s Trump rally site.

Source said “During K9, doing their checks, they found an explosive device in one of the vehicles and that driver ended up running into the woods. No one saw if he had anything on him, they just saw him take off running. A lot of cars are now parking, they’re lining up on Hempstead Turnpike, just parking on the grass. Even over at Eisenhower Park, they’re just parking over there.”

To be clear – there never was any report of a dirty bomb being found at the Trump rally. Even the unverified report only referred to “an explosive device”, not a dirty bomb.

Frankly, if a dirty bomb was ever discovered anywhere in the United States, it would have been major news reported widely all over the world. Yet, no legitimate news outlet has mentioned a dirty bomb being found, because it never happened – it was made up.

Nassau Police + Secret Service called explosive device report “false”

Soon after the unverified report went viral on X (where else?), the Nassau County Police called it “FALSE“, in capitals to boot!

A Secret Service spokesperson also confirmed that reports of “explosives” being found in a car at the Trump rally were false.

It was a false report by someone with a dog

Later that same day, Nassau County Commissioner of Police Patrick Ryder explained a person who “may have been training a bomb detection dog” made the false bomb report:

Reports of explosives being found at the site are unfounded. There is a person who is being questioned who may have been training a bomb detection dog near the site.

The individual with the bomb dog falsely reported explosives being found and that individual is currently being detained by police.

In other words – someone with a dog reported finding a bomb or explosives in a car, and it turned out to be a false report. Consequently, that person was detained by the police for questioning.

The photo was digitally-altered

The People’s Voice article and associated video used a cover image which shows a blue-coloured object on the road, presumably to suggest that it was the dirty bomb.

But why on Earth would the dirty bomb be digitally pixellated as if it was a naked person? And why would people be standing around the dirty bomb???

The truth is – that blue object was digitally added to a screenshot from a video clip (example) from the Trump rally in Long Island, and then pixellated so you cannot actually see what it is.

As you can see from the screenshot I took below, there was no blue-coloured object on the road in front of the truck. Why would anyone digitally add and pixelate a blue-coloured object???

The People’s Voice is known for fake news

The People’s Voice is the current name for NewsPunch, which possibly changed its name because its brand has been so thoroughly discredited after posting numerous shocking but fake stories.

Founded as Your News Wire in 2014, it was rebranded as NewsPunch in November 2018, before becoming The People’s Voice. A 2017 BuzzFeed report identified NewsPunch as the second-largest source of popular fake news on Facebook that year.

Its articles have been regularly debunked as fake news, so you should think twice about sharing anything from NewsPunch / The People’s Voice. Here are some of its fake stories that I fact checked earlier:

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created about Kamala Harris, and here are the reasons why…

Kamala Harris was not wearing NOVA H1 audio earrings

Many people are claiming that Kamala Harris wore the NOVA H1 audio earrings during her debate with Donald Trump. That’s not true.

The NOVA H1 audio earrings are pearl earrings that are clipped onto the earlobes. Each earring has an integrated microphone inside the pearl that projects sound into the ear canal.

As you can see from the photos below, the NOVA H1 audio earrings have a thick and solid clip which connects the large stem (containing the electronics and battery) to the microphone inside the pearl.

While the NOVA H1 sports a large pearl, it uses a completely different design than the earrings Kamala Harris wore during her debate with Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris wore Tiffany double hinged pearl earrings

The earrings Kamala Harris wore to her ABC News debate with Donald Trump has a large pearl too, but lacks a thick clip. In fact, her earrings appear to have a double hinge design – the pearl sits on a hinged loop of metal.

If you look at the zoomed-in photo that we provided below, the hinge appears to be hanging freely below her earlobe. The earring Kamala Harris wore does not appear to be clipped onto her earlobe, and is likely attached by a post.

Kamala Harris appears to be wearing the South Sea Pearl Earrings (no longer available online) from Tiffany & Co. It has a similar design to Double Pearl Hinged Earrings, but features 9-10 mm South Sea Pearls and is 18K gold-plated instead of silver-plated.

What is certain is that Kamala Harris was not wearing the NOVA H1 audio earrings.

Kamala Harris wore the same earrings earlier

Kamala Harris is known to favour pearls, and is often seen wearing pearl earrings. In fact, she was seen wearing the same earrings at earlier events. For example:

Some people are claiming or suggesting that Haitian migrants in Ohio are stealing and eating pets like cats and ducks!

JD Vance : Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio. Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country. Where is our border czar?

End Wokeness : Under Harris and Biden, 20,000 Haitian immigrants were shipped to the town. Now ducks and pets are disappearing.

These claims appear to have started from a post in a private Facebook group on Springfield Ohio crime and information:

Warning to all about our beloved pets & those around us!! My neighbor informed me that her daughters friend had lost her cat,” the user wrote. “One day she came home from work, as soon as she stepped out of her car, looked towards a neighbors house, where Haitians live, & saw her cat hanging from a branch, like you’d do a deer for butchering, & they were carving it up to eat. I’ve been told they are doing this to dogs, they have been doing it at snyder park with the ducks & geese, as I was told that last bit by Rangers & police. Please keep a close eye on these animals.

It then escalated, with some people posting body cam footage of a woman, claiming or suggesting that she was a Haitian who was being arrested for allegedly killing and eating a cat.

Since then, these claims about Haitian migrants in Ohio stealing and eating pets have gone viral on social media, with many right-wing American influencers and politicians sharing or promoting the narrative.

Truth : Haitian migrants in Ohio are not stealing + eating pets!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news being created or promoted ahead of the 2024 US Presidential election, and here are the reasons why…

Springfield police denied reports of stolen pets

The unverified Facebook post claimed that the police and “Rangers” warned about Haitians eating dogs, ducks and geese. That appears to be untrue.

On Monday morning, 9 September 2024, the Springfield Police Division refuted that claim, stating (source) that it has not received any reports about pets being stolen and eaten.

Springfield Police said they were aware of the social media post but that this was “not something that’s on our radar right now.”

Springfield City Manager denied claims pets were harmed by migrants

Springfield City Manager Bryan Heck also debunked claims (source) that Haitian migrants were stealing and eating people’s pets:

In response to recent rumors alleging criminal activity by the immigrant population in our city, we wish to clarify that there have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.

Additionally, there have been no verified instances of immigrants engaging in illegal activities such as squatting or littering in front of residents’ homes. Furthermore, no reports have been made regarding members of the immigrant community deliberately disrupting traffic.

To be clear – none of those claims on social media were ever backed by actual evidence.

Viral video does not show Haitian migrant eating stolen cat

This bodycam footage is being shared as evidence that Haitian migrants were stealing and eating pet cats in Springfield, Ohio.

The problem is – that video does not show a Haitian migrant, but rather, a 27 year-old American citizen called Allexis Telia Ferrell.

Ferrell was arrested on August 16, 2024 at around 11 PM, for killing a cat by stomping on its head, before proceeding to eat it “in a residential area in front of multiple people”.

In addition, the video was actually recorded in in Stark County in Canton, Ohio – about 170 miles (270 kilometres) from Springfield.

Viral photo was not taken in Springfield, Ohio

Some people are sharing a photo of a Black man holding a dead Canada goose, and claiming or suggesting that he was a Haitian migrant who killed and stole the goose from a nearby park in Springfield, Ohio.

The problem is – this photo was taken about two months earlier in Columbus, Ohio, by isitmeyourelooking4x who posted it (archive) on Reddit, with the caption – Things you see while driving in CBUS – Yes, it’s a goose.

OP : Somehow 2 months after I took the picture in Columbus it is being attributed to a Haitian in Springfield

Others: : Yes but did you take this photo in Springfield or is it just a load of crap?

OP : Don’t know how many times I have to say I took the picture in Columbus before people understand I took it in Columbus. I have never even been to Springfield

Others : Sorry i didn’t see your earlier comment. But yea this is crazy

OP : Ya. Everything the rightwing pushes are lies.

To be clear – the person who took that photo has never said that the man was a Haitian immigrant, or claimed that the man killed or stole the goose.

Haitian immigrants are not “illegal aliens”

Since 2011, Haitian citizens can remain in the United States and obtain work authorisations, and Social Security numbers, through the Temporary Protected Status.

Therefore, it is broadly untrue that Haitian immigrants in Ohio are “illegal aliens” as Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance and others have claimed.

Haitian immigrants were not “sent” to Springfield, Ohio

Claims or suggestions that Haitian immigrants were “sent” to Springfield, Ohio, by the Biden Administration are also false.

According to The New York Times, several manufacturing plants and warehouses opened in the small city between 2017 and 2020, creating a surplus of jobs that attracted Haitian immigrants.

Soon there were not enough workers. Many young, working-age people [from Springfield] had descended into addiction. Others shunned entry-level, rote work altogether, employers said. Haitians who heard that the Springfield area boasted well-paying, blue-collar jobs and a low cost of living poured in, and employers were eager to hire and train the new work force.

In short – an abundance of work attracted Haitian immigrants to Springfield, Ohio. They were not sent there.

Fact #1 : Trump team did not announce plans to destroy UN

Let me start by simply pointing out that the Trump campaign did not announce any plan to destroy the United Nations.

If the Trump campaign ever mentioned anything about destroying the UN, it would have been reported widely, and criticised by the Democrats as well as people all over the world.

Of course, none of that ever happened. There was no legitimate media reporting, no outrage on social media, no condemnation by the Democrats. Nothing. Zilch. That’s because it was all made up.

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice article did not provide any actual evidence the Trump campaign is planning to destroy the UN if he wins the 2024 Presidential election.

Fact #2 : Trump team did not announce plans to arrest COVID-19 criminals

I should also point out that the Trump campaign did not announce any plan to arrest anyone for the COVID-19 “plandemic” – a long debunked conspiracy theory.

If the Trump campaign ever mentioned anything about arresting people for the being involved in a non-existent “plandemic”, it would have been reported widely, and mocked by the Democrats as well as people all over the world.

Of course, none of that ever happened. There was no legitimate media reporting, no mockery on social media, no ridicule by the Democrats. Nothing. Zilch. That’s because it was all made up.

Fact #2 : Chemtrails do not exist

The term “chemtrails” refers to the belief that condensation trails (contrails) left in the sky by high-flying aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents being deliberately spread for various nefarious purposes.

The truth is – chemtrails do not exist. The white trails you see behind airplanes flying at high altitudes are contrails – trails of water vapour from aircraft engines that condenses into ice crystals in the extremely cold air.

In fact, these contrails have been seen since aircraft were able to fly at high altitudes, and were prominent during World War 2, when contrails were often seen during high-altitude bombing missions.

On top of that, it would require many tens of thousands of people in the aviation industry to work in perfect unison to cover up an industry-wide conspiracy to spray people with chemicals or biological agents like mpox. In truth – such a conspiracy would have been exposed within hours, if not days.

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice article did not provide any evidence that chemtrails exist, much less are an actual crime that people can get arrested for, never mind evidence that the Trump campaign plans to arrest people for “chemtrail crimes”.

The Washington Free Beacon : ‘I Did Fries’: Kamala Harris Claims She Worked at McDonald’s, but She Never Mentioned It Until She Ran for President. Did She Really Toil Beneath the Golden Arches?

Harris’s résumé a year after she graduated college makes no mention of McDonald’s

Harris’s work at McDonald’s, which allegedly took place at a franchise in the California Bay Area the summer after her freshman year in college, is a recent addition to her carefully curated life story. For decades, Harris never mentioned it, not on the campaign trail nor in two books. It’s absent from a job application and résumé she submitted a year after she graduated from college. Third-party biographers did not write about it. Not until Harris ran for president in 2019 and spoke to a labor rally in Las Vegas did she mention the job, telling the crowd that she “was a student when I was working in a McDonald’s.”

If some details of the job have varied, while others are murky, that might be because there is no record of Harris mentioning the McDonald’s job before that labor rally in Las Vegas in June 2019. The job goes unmentioned in both of her memoirs, published in July 2010 and January 2019.

The Free Beacon also obtained a copy of Harris’s October 1987 job application for a law clerk position in the Alameda County district attorney’s office. On that form, Harris, who was in law school at the time, listed several jobs—including a month-long clerical job at a stock brokerage—in a section that asked her to list every position she held in the last 10 years. McDonald’s is absent.

Truth : Kamala Harris likely worked at McDonald’s

This appears to be an example of fake news about Kamala Harris, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Kamala Harris often spoke about working at McDonald’s

Let me start by pointing out that Kamala Harris has often spoken about working as a cashier, fry-maker, and ice-cream server at McDonald’s in Alameda, California during her summer off while studying at Howard University.

It was a short stint – she only worked at McDonald’s during the summer of 1983, but it appeared to be an experience for her. In 2019, Harris would join a picket line of McDonald’s workers who were striking for a $15 minimum wage.

At that time, she said that while she “did the french fries and the ice cream” at the Golden Arches that summer, “there was not a family relying on me to pay the rent, put food on the table, and keep the bills paid by the end of the month” like those McDonald’s workers.

Months before she ran for President, Kamala Harris spoke about working at McDonald’s on The Drew Barrymore Show – “I did fries, and then I did the cashier“.

Kamala Harris has worked at many small jobs, and may be leaning heavily on that summer job at McDonald’s because it’s more relatable to working class and middle class voters.

In contrast, her rival – former President Donald Trump is famous for his love of eating (not working) at McDonald’s, and is not known to have ever worked at any minimum wage job in his life.

Fact #2 : McDonald’s has not commented on Kamala Harris’ summer job

While Ryan Fournier claimed that McDonald’s corporate sources have come forth to say that “they have no record of Kamala Harris working at any of their locations“, he provided no evidence.

More importantly – McDonald’s itself never commented on Kamala Harris’ summer job, much less said that it has “no record of Kamala Harris” ever working at any of its locations.

Fact #3 : McDonald’s would not have franchisee’s employee records

Back in 1982, there were two McDonald’s locations in Alameda, California – at 1346 Park Street, and at 2031 Webster Street. It is not known where Kamala Harris worked that summer.

However, it is more than likely that both McDonald’s restaurants were owned and operated by franchisees, as McDonald’s was expanding rapidly through franchising in the early 1980s. Even today, some 82% of McDonald’s restaurants are owned by franchisees, and not owned by McDonald’s Corporation.

McDonald’s franchisees handle their own employees, and McDonald’s corporate would not have those employee records. So even if someone at McDonald’s Corporation took the effort to look into employee records, they would not be able to see employee records handled by franchisees.

I should also point out that Kamala Harris worked at McDonald’s in the summer of 1983 – 41 years ago. It is highly unlikely that McDonald’s Corporation or even the franchisee would still have employee records going that far back!

Fact #4 : Kamala Harris listed her most recent jobs

The Free Beacon pointed out that when Kamala Harris applied for the position of a law clerk in the Alameda County district attorney’s office in October 1987, she failed to mention her summer job at McDonald’s four years earlier.

If you look at the form below (archive), you can see that Kamala Harris filled the three available slots with her three most recent jobs:

working as a law clerk for Alexander, Miller & McGee from June to August 1987
working as an operator for Charles Schwab & Co from July to August 1986
working as a student assistant for the Federal Trade Commission from April to May 1986

While her other jobs were not listed, it seems more than likely that Kamala Harris would have other jobs to list before she would need to list her stint at McDonalds in the summer of 1983.

In fact, her resume stated that she also worked as a U.S. Senate Intern for Senator Alan Cranston in the summer of 1984 – a year before her summer job at McDonald’s.

It also seems likely that Kamala Harris would have realised that a summer job frying potatoes and working the cash register at McDonald’s might not impress the Alameda County district attorney’s office, even though some people might feel otherwise.

Fact #5 : This is just political fake news

Ultimately, this appears to be yet another example of political fake news surrounding the upcoming 2024 US Presidential election. Here are some other examples I fact checked recently:

This appears to be an example of fake news circulating on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : California and Minnesota passed during DNC roll call

Let me start by pointing out that it wasn’t just California delegates who “passed” on voting for Kamala Harris during DNC roll call, Minnesota delegates also did the same.

Fact #2 : California and Minnesota passed as tradition dictated

Even though delegates from California and Minnesota passed on voting for Kamala Harris during the DNC roll call, they eventually did so at the end.

As WUSA9 explains, that’s because it’s tradition for the nominees’ home states to pass on voting initially, so they can cast the “deciding votes” at the end of the roll call.

Why California, Minnesota passed at the DNC

California and Minnesota, the home states of Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, have passed during the convention roll call — letting the party roll on.

This year’s roll call has been unlike any in political history. But one tradition held, the one mandating that the home state of the nominee generally passes, then goes near the end to pass the deciding vote to formally clinch the nomination.

This year, Minnesota, where Walz is governor, could get the count close and let Harris’ California and its motherlode of delegates put her over the top as the Democratic nominee.

Vice President nominee Tim Walz is the governor of Minnesota, so its delegates voted to nominate Kamala Harris close to the end. Kamala Harris is from California, so its large number of delegates were given the privilege to put her over the top as the Democratic Party nominee in the 2024 Presidential election.

In fact, it was California governor Gavin Newsom who delivered the state’s delegates to Vice President Kamala Harris, surrounded by members of the California delegation.

Fact #3 : No legitimate report of CA delegates refusing to vote for Kamala Harris

If delegates from California actually refused to vote to nominate Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for President, it would have been widely reported.

Yet, there has been no legitimate media reporting of such a shocking development. That’s because it never happened – the delegates from California voted for her at the end, as tradition dictated.

Fact #4 : DNC roll call was only ceremonial

I should also point out that the roll call vote during the 2024 Democratic National Convention was only ceremonial, because the Democratic Party already held a virtual vote on August 6, that formally nominated Kamala Harris as its official nominee in the 2024 Presidential election.

What you saw at the 2024 DNC was just a fun, “celebratory” roll call, with DJ Cassidy spinning a special song for each state as they took their turn to nominate Kamala Harris.

Truth : Harris-Walz campaign did not use fake AI crowd photos!

This is yet another example of fake news about the 2024 US Presidential election, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Airport photo is genuine and was not created by AI

Many people, including former President Donald Trump, falsely claimed that the Harris-Walz campaign faked photos of the crowd that greeted Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

The photo is genuine, and is one of the many taken and posted by people who attended the event, which was attended by thousands of people, as well as prominent politicians. It was also live streamed by dozens of news channel.

In addition, Shayan Sardarizadeh of BBC Verify checked the metadata of the original photo, and confirmed that it was taken using an iPhone 12 Pro Max on 7 August at 18:28 local time.

While it is possible that some photos might have been digitally manipulated to make them appear fake, or created by generative AI software, the size of the crowd is indisputable. According to the local news outlet MLive, “about about 15,000 people filled the hangar, the crowd spilling out onto the tarmac.”

Fact #2 : Telephoto lens make the crowd appear closer than it really is

People are pointing to the reflection of Air Force Two’s fuselage and engine cowling, which appear to show the hangar but no sign of any people. That does not mean the photo was created by AI.

For one thing – the photo appears to have been taken using a telephoto lens, which makes the crowd appear much closer to Air Force Two than it really is.

As this video below shows, the crowd was actually located close to the hangar, and a considerable distance away from Air Force Two. Hence, they would not be so obviously seen in the reflection of Air Force Two’s fuselage or engine cowling.

Fact #3 : Reflections are “compressed” on curved surfaces

The second reason why you don’t see the large crowds visibly reflected on Air Force Two’s fuselage and engine cowling is because they are curved surfaces, on which reflections would appear compressed.

It may seem silly but let me just point out that the fuselage and engine cowling of Air Force Two are cylindrical. Like funhouse mirrors, shiny cylindrical surfaces distort reflections, and will not reflect an image like a flat mirror.

If you look closely, you can see how the hangar appears compressed vertically – it appears to be very long, but squashed flat, like someone sat on it. You can actually see the crowd in that photo – it just appears as a dark line because its reflection was compressed vertically by the curved surface.

This video, which was created by someone else (sorry, I don’t know who, but will update this article with the correct credit when I identify the creator) recreated the scene using Blender, to show and explain why the crowd’s reflection can be seen in the photo – they just appear compressed.

Fact #4 : Air Force Two no longer has tail number

Some conspiracists pointed out that the aircraft in the photo lacks a tail number, with some pointing out that Air Force Two should have the tail number 80002.

While generative AI can and do create images with distorted or even missing text, that is no the case with the viral photo of Air Force Two at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

The truth is – the US Air Force started removing tail numbers and other individually-identifying markings from its C-32A and C-32B executive and personnel transport jets for operational security reasons.

In fact, when JD Vance – the Republican candidate for Vice President recently walked up to Air Force Two in Wisconsin on 7 August 2024, photos and videos clearly show that it lacked any tail number.

Fact #5 : AI stadium crowd photo was not created by Harris-Walz campaign

The viral stadium photo, which purportedly shows supporters of the Harris-Walz campaign, was created using generative AI software. There are many obvious signs of generative AI in that viral photo, as many people have pointed out.

However, it was not created or shared by the Harris-Walz campaign. It was created and posted (archive) by a parody account on X (formerly Twitter) called Dr. Literaleigh A Pheline 🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈 (@Sarcasmcat24).

When American YouTuber and political commentator, Blair White, shared that photo, @Sarcasmcat24 pointed out to her that it was AI-generated:

That’s a photo that I generated with AI

Zoom in a bit, you’ll see that the faces aren’t even well developed.

Yeah, I run a parody account, glad you enjoyed the post! 😜

White has since deleted her post, but many continue to post this fake photo (on the right) and falsely claim that it was posted or created by the Harris-Walz campaign. That’s simply not true.

Fact #6 : This is just political fake news

Why Donald Trump Crypto Giveaway Is A Scam!

Here are the reasons why the Donald Trump crypto giveaway is a just another scam to cheat you of your hard-earned money!

Fact #1 : Donald Trump Crypto Giveaway Video Is Fake!

First, let me just point out that the video of Donald Trump saying that he is “giving away Bitcoins and Ethereums” is a deepfake video with a fake voice over. If you look carefully, you can see that Trump’s mouth movements do not sync well with what he’s saying.

In any case, Donald Trump never made those comments in his speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference. This is most definitely a fake video, with a fake voice over.

Fact #2 : Donald Trump Is Not Giving Away Cryptocurrencies!

I should also point out that Donald Trump is not giving away any cryptocurrency. If Trump ever actually gives away money, it would have been reported widely. Obviously, that did not happen, because it’s all made up!

Think about it for a second – Donald Trump is a businessman with a long history of stiffing his suppliers, contractors and/or employees. Why would he give YOU any of his money???

In fact, Trump has been asking people for money. He’s a billionaire because he constantly looks for ways to make more money. It would be silly of him to give $100 million away just to “speed up” cryptocurrency adoption.

Fact #3 : That Is A Scam Website

The RepublicanCrypto.com website is a scam website which falsely claims to be a cryptocurrency giveaway by Donald Trump.

For one thing – the domain is brand new, and was only registered on 28 July 2024. The domain also does not belong to the Republican Party, or Donald Trump. In fact, their ownership is being hidden – which is common with scam websites. On top of that, the contact email is Russian – ek1991@internet.ru.

Fact #4 : This Is A Double-Up Crypto Scam!

This appears to be a double-up crypto scam, similar to the Elon Musk Bitcoin + Ethereum giveaway scam, relying on your greed to cheat you of your cryptocurrency.

Instead of giving you cryptocurrencies like in a real giveaway, it asks you to send your own cryptocurrencies to receive double the amount in return!

Send your BTC to the address for X2 back

Send your ETH to the address for X2 back

Send your DOGE to the address for X2 back

Send your USDT to the address for X2 back

That’s utter nonsense. Whatever BTC / ETH / DOGE / USDT cryptocurrency you send to those addresses will be lost for good. You will never get them back, never mind get double the amount!

To further tempt you into giving even more bitcoin or ether, the scammers warn that you can only participate once. That is complete bullshit. They are just preying on your greed and fear of missing out to trick you into sending more cryptocurrency.

Please do NOT send any cryptocurrency to those addresses. It is a SCAM!

Elon Musk just shared a video of Kamala Harris (archive) to million of his fans on X (formerly Twitter), with the comment:

This is amazing 😂

The video, which garnered over 7.5 million views as of 11 PM, July 26, is obviously fake and digitally altered. However, Elon Musk did not label it as such.

Why Kamala Harris video Elon Musk shared is fake + digitally-altered!

This is yet another example of misinformation being propagated on X (formerly Twitter), and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : It Was A Parody Video

Let me start by pointing out that the Kamala Harris video was a campaign ad parody that was created by the Mr Reagan account on X (archive).

Mr Reagan clearly labelled it as a PARODY, although he conveniently did not include a parody label in the video itself, so when people share his video, it may be misinterpreted as genuine.

Unfortunately, Elon Musk did not explicitly mention that the Kamala Harris video was just a parody, when he shared the video with millions of his fans. So it is more than likely that some of his fans might actually believe it’s real. Silly, I know, but we are talking about Elon Musk fans…

To be fair, X does not require users to label parody videos. However, its Civic Integrity Policy explicitly forbids “posting or sharing content that may suppress participation… or lead to offline violence during an election.”

Fact #2 : The Audio Was Digitally Altered

While the parody video uses genuine video clips of Vice President Kamala Harris, its audio was fake, and definitely digitally altered, likely created using an AI voice generator.

And okay, look, maybe my work addressing the root causes of the border crisis were catastrophic but my knowledge of international politics is truly shocking.

And just remember when voting his November, it is to see what can be unburdened by what has been. And by what has been, I mean Joe Biden.

If you think the country went to shit over the past four years, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Fact #3 : Video Only Featured One Kamala Harris Gaffe

It appears that Mr Reagan has to use a fake audio of Kamala Harris because she does not make that many gaffes. In fact, the entire video only featured one gaffe in which Kamala Harris mistakenly touted the U.S. “alliance with the Republic of North Korea“.

In contrast, her rival for the Presidency of the United States – Donald Trump has made so many gaffes, it would be simple to make videos mocking them without faking his voice.

In fact, conservative lawyer and Trump critic George Conway did just that, releasing a campaign ad video highlighting Donald Trump’s best gaffes. The video, which is half as long as the Mr Reagan video, showcases the Trump’s numerous gaffes and obvious cognitive problems in his speeches. Unlike the Mr Reagan video, there was no editing of Trump’s voice.

As Conway explained, Donald Trump “wanted to make this election all about mental fitness“, so the video will show that “even before he began showing age-related cognitive decline, Trump had a long history of doing and saying bizarre things“.

Conway continued, “He was never right in the head. And as he’s gotten older, he’s only gotten worse. Especially now that he’s the only old guy in the race, it’s more important than ever for the public to focus on Trump’s lack of mental fitness when they make their decision this November“.

Truth : Kamala Harris Described Herself As Woman Wearing Blue Suit To Visually Disabled!

This is yet another example of fake news about Kamala Harris, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Video Was From July 2022

Let me start by pointing out that this video is genuine, but it isn’t new. The video is actually two years old, being recorded at the White House on July 26, 2022.

This is important because many people are sharing and mocking this video now in July 2024, right after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign, and endorsed Kamala Harris instead.

Fact #2 : Kamala Harris Was Describing Herself To Visually Disabled People

While the video was not digitally-altered, and does indeed show Vice President Kamala Harris describing herself as a woman sitting at the table, wearing a blue suit, she was actually doing that for the benefit of visually disabled people at the meeting.

That video was recorded at a roundtable that Kamala Harris hosted with disability rights leaders to discuss access to reproductive healthcare, on the 32nd anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

As Sara Luterman, a 19th News journalist who attended the meeting, pointed out – Kamala Harris did so because some of those participants are blind / visually impaired. Luterman herself is partially blind.

This was at a meeting with disability rights leaders earlier today. VP Harris is describing what she is wearing because some of those leaders are blind.

Will those who mocked Kamala Harris now apologise for their crass remarks? One can only hope…

Fact #3 : Self-Description Is Common Practice With Visually Impaired People

According to the Missouri School for the Blind, it is actually best practice to self-describe yourself to visually impaired people:

Introduce yourself using your name and/or position, especially if you are wearing a name badge containing this information.

Be precise and thorough when you describe people, places or things. Don’t leave things out or change a description because you think it is unimportant or unpleasant.

Feel free to use visually descriptive language. Making reference to colors, patterns, designs, and shapes is perfectly acceptable.

Instead of mocking Kamala Harris for describing herself to visually impaired people at the meeting, we should applaud her for doing so.

Fact #4 : Biden Admin Implemented Gender-Neutral Pronouns In 2021

While some are mocking Kamala Harris for describing her pronouns, this isn’t new. Neither is this use of pronouns something that only she does.

Within 24 hours of President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, the White House released a new contact form, in which allows users to select their pronounces of choice.

In other words, Kamala Harris is describing her gender and pronouns to visually impaired people at the roundtable, in line with the Biden Administration’s policy on gender inclusivity.

It’s a lot easier to drop out over “peer pressure” and an illness than to be forced to resign once the American people learn all about how the Biden admin plotted to put a bullet in Donald Trump’s head.

This is why he dropped out the day before the Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle was supposed to testify tomorrow in front of Congress.

Truth : Joe Biden Did Not Quit Over Failed Plot To Assassinate Donald Trump!

This is yet another example of fake news about Joe Biden, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Biden Administration Did Not Plot Assassination Attempt

Let me start by pointing that that the Biden Administration was not involved in the failed assassination attempt of Donald Trump.

If that was even a possibility, it would be triggered a Congressional investigation into the plot, and it would have triggered the Joe Biden’s resignation and the possible criminal prosecution of those involved.

Yet, none of that happened, because there is simply no evidence to even suggest such a possibility. Not even the MAGA wing of the Republican Party has dared to claim that the Biden Administration is somehow involved in the failed assassination of Donald Trump.

Needless to say, none of those promoting these spurious claims ever offered any evidence to back them up. That isn’t surprising at all because based on the evidence collected so far, the shooter – 20 year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, appears to have acted alone as a lone wolf, with no known political motives.

Fact #2 : Joe Biden Quit Re-Election After Weeks Of Turmoil

Claims that Joe Biden only quit his re-election campaign after his administration failed to assassinate Donald Trump is nonsensical, are easily disproven by the timeline.

Right after Biden’s dismal debate against Trump in Atlanta on June 27, several Democratic officials and political advisors started calling on Biden to end his re-election campaign. Those calls increased in urgency after Biden held a news conference at the end of the NATO summit on July 11, in which he made more gaffes.

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump occurred more than 2 weeks – 16 days to be precise, after Democratic Party officials and members of Congress started calling for Joe Biden to end his re-election campaign. So his decision to quit was not triggered by the failed attempt at assassinating Donald Trump, but by his own poor debate performance against Trump.

Fact #3 : Biden Likely Has Legal Power To Assassinate Trump

Frankly speaking, there is no need for President Joe Biden to use an unstable, lone wolf shooter, to assassinate Donald Trump. If Biden really wanted to assassinate Donald Trump, he likely has the legal power to do so.

With all of the US government’s resources at his disposal, he would be able to rely on its best sharpshooters, or he could simply have Donald Trump poisoned by the Secret Service, and then shot and garrotted for good measure. And he would arguably be legally protected against criminal prosecution.

Thanks to the recent Supreme Court ruling in Trump v. United States, a sitting President can potentially order the assassination of a political rival with complete immunity. In her dissent, which was signed by two colleagues, Justice Sonia Sotomayor pointed out that:

In every use of official power, the president is now a king above. [Let’s say he] orders the Navy’s Seal Team Six to assassinate a political rival? Immune.

Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune.

In other words, if Biden truly needed Trump dead to win re-election, he would have ordered the US government to try, and try again, until they succeeded. He wouldn’t need to end his re-election campaign.

Just in case you think Biden is too senile to know he now has the power to assassinate his political rivals, he actually pointed this out on July 5, 2024.

Truth : FBI Assistant Director Was Not In Trump Assassination Video!

This is yet another example of fake news surrounding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Woman Is Not FBI Assistant Director Janeen DiGuiseppi

Let me start by simply pointing out that the woman in the video screenshot is not FBI Assistant Director Janeen DiGuiseppi.

The FBI called those claims “categorically false“, and said that the woman was “not AD DiGuiseppi“, noting that she was not even in Pennsylvania at the time of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

The allegations circulating on social media about an FBI executive and the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania are categorically false. To be clear, the person depicted is not her and she did not attend the rally.

The FBI also called these falsehoods targeting its personnel “reprehensible and irresponsible“, noting that they “often lead to threats against them and their families“.

To date, attempts to identify the woman who wore a cap saying “Jesus is my saviour, Trump is my president” have failed, although some are claiming that she is Lori Carney from Pennsylvania, who is not an FBI agent.

But even without identifying her, it is obvious that she looks nothing like FBI Assistant Director Janeen DiGuiseppi. They have different jawlines and ear shapes.

Unsurprisingly, none of those making these baseless claims actually provided any evidence that the woman is FBI Assistant Director Janeen DiGuiseppi.

Fact #2 : Evidence Show Thomas Crooks Acted Alone

On Sunday, 14 July 2024, the FBI gave a press briefing on the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump. It is still searching for a motive for the attack but said that the shooter – 20 year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, appears to have acted alone as a lone wolf.

At that press briefing, Kevin Rojek, an FBI special agent in charge of the Pittsburgh field office, said:

At present, we have not identified an ideology associated with the subject. At this time, the information that we have indicates that the shooter acted alone and that there are currently no public safety concerns.

Sometime before the shooting, Crooks search the Internet for both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, as well as the dates and locations of the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Sources also said that Crooks left a message on the Steam gaming platform, in which he allegedly declared, “July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds.”

The day before the shooting, the counsel for the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club confirmed that Thomas Matthew Crooks practised on its rifle range. On the day of the assassination attempt, Crooks asked to borrow his father’s AR-15 style rifle, which was legally purchased 11 years ago in 2013, telling him that he planned to go to the shooting range.

Crooks then went to a local gun shop to buy 50 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition, before stopping at a Home Depot to buy a 5-foot ladder (which was not found at the scene). He then drove to the Trump rally, and parked about a third of a mile away at a gas station.

For at least an hour before the shooting, Crooks was seen walking around the rally area. At no point in time was he seen interacting with a co-conspirator. When the FBI cracked his phone, it did not reveal his motives or plans. His phone certainly did not show that he had any co-conspirators.

In short – the evidence currently show that Thomas Matthew Crooks acted alone, and there was no conspiracy.

Fact #3 : This Is Just Fake News About Donald Trump

People are sharing an article (archive) by The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch), which claims that a WEF memo just revealed plans for three more assassination attempts on Donald Trump!

WEF Memo Reveals Three More Trump Assassination Attempts Incoming

A visibly angry Klaus Schwab told WEF members that they must keep trying to assassinate former president Trump and if they miss, “shoot shoot shoot until the job is done.”

According to a WEF insider, Schwab is hell bent on finishing the job the World Economic Forum started when Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed a conveniently placed ladder onto the roof of a building owned by a senior WEF member and was allowed by the Secret Service to unload the contents of his AK-15 at Trump’s rally stage.

Schwab said “shoot, shoot, shoot” and already this week we have had the Butler Park assassination attempt and two murderous psychopaths neutralized at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Now, according to a WEF insider citing a WEF memo, they are planning to take out Trump in the same way they have removed other troublesome world leaders. They want to blow his brains out in front of TV cameras – and they almost succeeded in Butler Park on Saturday.

Justifying the decision by stating the “world will be better off without Donald Trump,” the WEF memo cites Trump’s steady popularity despite everything the elite have thrown at him including unprecedented lawfare and years of increasingly extreme mainstream media rhetoric.

Truth : WEF memo on more Trump assassination attempts does not exist!

This is yet another example of fake news created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

There is no WEF memo on more Trump assassination attempts

Let me start by simply pointing out that there is no WEF (World Economic Forum) memo calling for more assassination attempts on Donald Trump.

If such a memo exists, it would have been widely reported by the mainstream media, and criticised by both sides of the political spectrum and everyone in between! In fact, it would have triggered a criminal investigation! Yet none of that happened, because… it was all made up!

Unsurprisingly, the The People’s Voice article did not provide any evidence to back up its “fact checked” claim.

Yuval Noah Hariri is not Klaus Schwab’s right-hand man

Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli professor in the Department of History, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He does not work for the WEF, and he is certainly not Klaus Schwab’s right-hand man.

Yet again, The People’s Voice article provided no evidence to back up its claim that Yuval Noah Harari is Klaus Schwab’s right-hand man.

FBI believes Thomas Crooks acted alone

At that press briefing, Kevin Rojek, an FBI special agent in charge of the Pittsburgh field office, said:

According to sources familiar with the investigation, Thomas Matthew Crooks used an “AR-style 556 rifle” that his father legally purchased 11 years ago, in 2013.

There is no indication that the World Economic Forum (WEF) is even remotely involved in this assassination attempt. And why should it? The WEF is only an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) that focuses on public-private sector collaboration!

The cover image used in The People’s Voice article and video has a screenshot which purportedly shows the World Economic Forum posting on X (formerly Twitter) that:

Leaders must accept our New World Order – or die.

That is a fake screenshot, because there is no such post on X by the World Economic Forum! If the WEF actually made such a shocking post, it would have been reported by the media across the world, and mocked and criticised on social media.

But of course, that didn’t happen, because the WEF never made such a bizarre post! Why would The People’s Voice article use a fake screenshot???

The People’s Voice is known for fake news

The People’s Voice is the current name for NewsPunch, which possibly changed its name because its brand has been so thoroughly discredited after posting numerous shocking but fake stories.

Truth : Jack Black Did Not Say “Don’t Miss Trump Next Time”!

This is yet another example of fake news surrounding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Video Was Recorded In Australia

Let me start by confirming that the video is genuine. However, it was recorded in Sydney, Australia; and not in Canada or the United States, as some are claiming or suggesting.

While people can be heard laughing at the comment, the audience were largely Australians who play no part in American politics.

Fact #2 : Jack Black Never Said “Don’t Miss Trump Next Time”

More importantly, Jack Black never said “Don’t miss Trump next time” in that video. It was his Tenacious D bandmate, Kyle Gass, who made that comment.

On 14 July 2024 – one day after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the rock duo known as Tenacious D – Jack Black and Kyle Gass played at the ICC Sydney Theatre.

During that concert, they celebrated Kyle Gass’ 64th birthday, with a robot presenting a birthday cake to Kyle on stage. Jack Black sang a birthday song to Gass, and then asked him to “make a wish”.

At that point, Kyle Gass looked at the camera and said, “Don’t miss Trump next time”, at which point the 9,000-strong crowd can be heard cheering and laughing.

There are several videos circulating online, but the one below appears to be the most common. Regardless of which video you saw – they all show the same thing. It was Kyle Gass, not Jack Black, who said “Don’t miss Trump next time”.

So you have to wonder – did those people who claimed that Jack Black said “Don’t miss Trump next time” actually watched any of those videos???

Kyle Gass’ controversial birthday wish was reported widely by the mainstream media, and also drew condemnation in both the United States and Australia.

So how is it possible for people to still claim that Jack Black made that controversial comment???

Fact #4 : Australian Senator Called For Tenacious D Deportation

In fact, one Australian federal senator was apparently so outraged, he called for Tenacious D to be deported:

Tenacious D should be immediately removed from the country after wishing for the assassination of Donald Trump at their Sydney concert.

I condemn in the strongest possible way the call to political violence by Tenacious D in Sydney on Sunday.

To advocate and or wish for the assassination of a President is egregious, disgusting, filthy, evil, and not acceptable in any way, shape or form.

This was not a joke, he was deadly serious when he wished for the death of the President.

While it is questionable that the senator would know about Kyle Gass’ state of mind when he made his birthday wish, what is clear is that it was not Jack Black who made the comment.

It does not appear that the Australian government is moving to deport Tenacious D over the comment, but the concert on Tuesday night (16 July 2024) has been postponed until further notice.

Some people are claiming or suggesting that the Secret Service blocked one of their snipers from shooting the assassin, Thomas Mathew Crooks, before he could shoot at Donald Trump!

No Evidence Secret Service Blocked Sniper From Shooting Trump Assassin!

This is yet another example of fake news surrounding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Post Was Made Anonymously On 4Chan

Let me start by pointing out that the viral claim was made anonymously on the anonymous message board 4chan. The person who posted it claimed to be a Secret Service counter-sniper called Jonathan Willis.

My name is Jonathan Willis, I’m the officer in the famous photo of the two snipers on the roof at Trump’s rally. I came here to inform the public that I had the assassin in my sights for at least 3 minutes, but the head of the secret service refused to give the order to take out the perp. 100% the top brass prevented me from killing the assassin before he took the shots at president Trump.

I didn’t follow the orders though, as soon as the shooter opened on Trump I returned fire despite strict orders to not engage. I had eyes on the shooter for three minutes watching him fiddle with his rifle and adjust the scope, it was obvious he was a shooter yet I wasn’t allowed to engage. After I killed the shooter I was arrested, questioned by the FBI, and just released an hour ago. Already lost my job for not following orders, but I’m glad I took the shots anyway.

However, anyone can post anything on 4chan, and people often make bizarre and outright false claims on that anonymous message board all the time.

There is simply no evidence that a Jonathan Willis actually works for the US Secret Service as a counter-sniper. There is also no evidence that he was the sniper seen in the viral photo, who shot and killed Thomas Matthew Crooks – the gunman who almost killed Donald Trump.

Fact #2 : Post Has Many Logical Problems

On top of that, the anonymous post has many logical and factual problems, if you read it carefully. For example:

Donald Trump is the former president, and would not be referred to as “President Trump”.
Secret Service snipers are not known as “officers”.
It is rather ridiculous to think that Secret Service agents would clearly identify themselves publicly, or speak out publicly, during an active investigation.
Secret Service counter-snipers have great leeway to eliminate threats, as there is often no time to “ask for permission” before taking out a potential assassin.
Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle was not on site, and could not have denied permission for the counter-sniper team to engage the shooter.
Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle actually praised the quick action of the counter-sniper team in “neutralizing the shooter”.
It would be quite impossible for this “Jonathan Willis” to observe Thomas Matthew Crooks fiddling with his rifle scope, because his rifle has no scope on it!
Even if the two counter-sniper teams had strict orders not to shoot anyone (which is ridiculous), that order would have been rendered moot after the gunman started shooting.
There is no reason for the FBI to arrest Jonathan Willis, or any of the Secret Service counter-snipers, for doing their jobs.
There is no reason for the Secret Service to fire Jonathan Willis, or any of the Secret Service counter-snipers, for doing their jobs.
It seems preposterous that the first thing a Secret Service sniper would do after being released by the FBI is to “bitch” about it on 4chan.

There are just so many red flags with those posts which suggest that it’s completely fabricated, and was not posted by an actual Secret Service employee, never mind the sniper who shot the would-be Trump assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Fact #3 : Jonathan Willis Does Not Work For Secret Service / Butler Police

The Associated Press investigated the claim, and found that “there is no agent or office by the name of Jonathan Willis working for the Secret Service or the Butler police“. In addition, it noted that there are no Internet records of such an officer.

Nate Herring, a spokesman for the Secret Service, also confirmed that no one by the name of Jonathan Willis is employed by the US Secret Service.

Fact #4 : Snipers Do Not Need Permission To Shoot

The spokesman for the Secret Service also said that its snipers are trained and instructed to act whenever they see a threat, and do not need to wait for instructions before they take a shot to neutralise a suspect.

Fact #5 : Secret Service Called Claims “False”

Finally, the Secret Service spokesman said that the claims made in the viral 4chan post were “false”.

Witnesses at the Butler rally spotted Thomas Matthew Crooks onto a nearby roof and alerted police officers. A local police officer climbed to the roof and saw Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer, forcing him to retreat down the ladder. Crooks then quickly turned and fired at Trump, which was when the Secret Service counter-sniper team shot him.

Truth : Donald Trump Was Not Shot In Chest + Saved By Bulletproof Vest!

This is yet another example of fake news circulating on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Donald Trump Was Only Shot In Right Ear

Let me start by pointing out that Donald Trump was only shot once, and the bullet only grazed his right ear. He was never shot in the chest.

Unsurprisingly, people who claimed that Donald Trump was shot in the chest, and saved by a bulletproof vest, never provided any evidence.

In fact, Donald Trump himself confirmed that he was only hit in the “upper part of [his] right ear”, when he posted on Truth Social that:

I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.

So why would people continue to claim that Donald Trump was shot in the chest, but saved by a bulletproof vest???

Fact #2 : Viral Photo Does Not Show Bullet Hole

The viral photo may have been edited. It appears considerably more blurred than the original photo, which makes it look like there is a black hole in Donald Trump’s jacket.

But if you blow up the viral photo and increase the brightness, or bring out the shadows, you can see that the “hole” is not part of Donald Trump’s jacket, but appears to be from a different jacket with a darker hue of blue.

If you compare it to the original photo, you can immediately see that that was not a hole at all, but the shadow of a fold in the jacket of a female officer who was protecting Donald Trump from the front with her body.

The viral photo may or may not have been edited, but what is certain is that – it does not show a bullet hole in Donald Trump’s jacket.

Fact #3 : This Is Just Fake News About Donald Trump

Some people and/or websites are claiming or suggesting that a confused President Joe Biden wandered off at a G7 photoshoot, forcing Italian Prime Minister Meloni to shepherd him back!

New York Post : Biden appears to wander off at G7 summit before being pulled back by Italian PM

President Biden appeared to wander off at the G7 summit in Italy, with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni needing to pull him back to focus.

As world leaders applauded a parachuting presentation, Biden could be seen trailing off and stepping away from the group, appearing to talk to an officer packing a parachute.

The Sun : Joe Biden’s G7 parachute gaffe means it’s time for an honest discussion – is US President in a fit state to lead world?

The annual G7 gathering for once actually achieved more than warm words, but the unprecedented $50billion (£39billion) seizure of Russian assets to aid Ukraine will not be why Puglia ’24 will be remembered.

“It’s the worst he’s ever been,” one seasoned diplomatic source whispered to me yesterday, and the whole world can see it now.

Meloni’s photo op show of unity and military prowess was quickly overshadowed when Biden decided to turn his back on the G7 group as they clapped for each parachute jumper displaying a national flag.

He stood grinning for a few seconds before deciding to shuffle away from the powerful pack.

After taking several small and limbering steps he began to talk to someone and offered them a thumbs-up.
The other leaders stood watching the President with puzzled looks on their faces.

Emmanuel Macron, Rishi Sunak and Giorgia Meloni stared in his direction before catching each other’s eye with a knowing glance.

Quick-thinking Meloni then made a beeline for the President before tugging on Biden’s arm.

By this point the President was facing in the total opposite direction, with his back to everyone else, clearly not sticking to the script.

As if helping a confused elderly relative, Meloni gently shepherded Biden back towards the photographers, as the rest of the G7 leaders all made an obvious movement to surround the befuddled-looking Joe.

Truth : Joe Biden Did Not Wander Off At G7 Photoshoot!

This is yet another example of misinformation about President Joe Biden, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : G7 Parachute Video Was Edited

Let me start by pointing out that the viral video, which was posted by the New York Post, appeared to be edited from the original video posted by the Republican National Committee (archive).

The truth is – the Joe Biden turned away to give a thumbs up to several parachutists who landed behind the group. A parachutist rigger appeared in the original video, but was cropped out to make President Joe Biden appear as if he wandered away from the group of world leaders preparing for a G7 photo opportunity.

In the full, unedited video, the group of world leaders watched as a parachutist carrying a G7 banner landed in front of them. Several other parachutists landed behind them, along with a parachute rigger who was kneeling on the ground to pack up one of parachutes and the French flag.

The original video also shows Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron briefly looking towards the parachutists who landed behind them. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni then walked toward Biden, to tap him on the arm and invite him to join the other leaders who were being briefed by an Italian Army officer about the demonstration they just watched.

In short – President Joe Biden did not wander off in a confused or befuddled state. In fact, he was not only aware that some parachutists had landed behind the group, he actually took the effort to acknowledge them, and say something to them.

Fact #2 : White House Criticised The Disinformation

The White House criticized the New York Post and other media outlets for mischaracterising President Joe Biden as “confused”, and for using an “artificially narrow frame” to make it appear as if he wandered off in a daze.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates shared the unedited video, and pointed out on X that Joe Biden was congratulating one of the parachutists, and giving them a thumbs up.

The Murdoch outlets are so desperate to distract from @POTUS’s record that they just lie.

Here, they use an artificially narrow frame to hide from viewers that he just saw a skydiving demonstration.

He’s saying congratulations to one of the divers and giving a thumbs up.

White House communications director Ben LaBolt shared Andrew Bates’ criticism, and warned about “bad faith actors” who posted the edited video:

Fact #3 : Rishi Sunak Explained What Happened

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak pushed back on claims that President Joe Biden was confused that day. According to The Telegraph, Biden merely wanted to shake the hands of all those parachutists:

He went to go and talk to the pilot, one of the parachute jumpers. He went to go and shake all their hands.

They all landed and he was being very polite and went over to talk to all of them individually, and Giorgia was saying don’t worry they’re all coming – we were meant to line up and they were coming to shake our hands.

As far as I know he went over to talk to some of the parachute jumpers, saying thank you or hello to them all individually, and then we all lined up and they all came and lined up.

Fact #4 : This Is Just Fake News About Joe Biden

“Those seeking the Jews destruction, we will seek their destruction,” said Trump.

Trump said on Wednesday it “was a beautiful thing to watch” NYPD officers raiding a Columbia University building occupied by pro-Palestine, anti-Israel students, and called on officials to crack down on campus protests across the US.

“New York was under siege last night,” Trump told supporters at a campaign rally in Wisconsin, praising the police officers for arresting more than 300 protesters at Columbia and City College of New York whom he referred to as “raging lunatics and Hamas sympathizers.”

Many student protesters are demanding an immediate ceasefire in the war on the Hamas terror group in Gaza and that their universities divest from companies with military and economic ties to Israel.

If he actually said that, it would have been widely reported all over the world, and condemned by both Republicans and Democrats, as well as independents alike. Yet no legitimate media outlet reported such a shocking development… because it never happened!

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice never provided any evidence that Donald Trump called for the death penalty for pro-Palestine college campus protestors!

Fact #2 : Trump Death Penalty Quote Was From 2018!

The truth is – The People’s Voice used a 2018 quote by Donald Trump, who called for the death penalty right after a gunman killed 11 people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh on October 27, 2018.

Hours later, Trump called for the death penalty for the gunman, Robert Bowers, while campaigning for Rep. Mike Bost in Illinois that same day.

Through the centuries, the Jews have endured terrible persecution. You know that. We’ve all read it. We’ve studied it. They’ve gone through a lot. Those seeking [the Jews] destruction, we will seek their destruction.

Barron Trump did not actually “volunteer” to be a delegate. He was picked by the Republican Party of Florida as one of its delegates to the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night, 8 May 2024.

Fact #3 : Barron Trump Declined To Be A Delegate

Two days after being chosen to be a Florida delegate, Barron Trump declined the offer, citing “prior commitments” according to Melania Trump’s office.

While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitment.

So much for The People’s Voice article’s claim that Barron Trump has “vowed” to continue his father’s political legacy and destroy the New World Order. LOL!

Fact #4 : Donald Trump Never Spoke About Destroying New World Order

There is no reason for Barron Trump to “vow” to continue his father’s political legacy and destroy the New World Order, when Donald Trump himself never spoke about doing that!

In fact, as President of the United States, Donald Trump was literally part of the Deep State and the New World Order that conspiracy theorists and conspiracists have been raging about!

Fact #1 : Photo Of Mushroom Dress Was Edited!

Let me start by quickly pointing out that the viral photo of Stormy Daniels wearing a mushroom dress is fake. It was most definitely edited by simply adding orange mushrooms to the original photo.

If you look carefully, you can see that the mushrooms were simply added to her blue dress, and they do not change with the folds of her dress.

It was actually edited from a photo taken when Stormy Daniels went for her television interview on The View in New York, in April 2018. She wore a shiny blue dress that day, without any mushrooms on it.

Fact #2 : Stormy Daniels Confirms Photo Was Edited

Stormy Daniels herself refuted the viral photo, stating that it was photoshopped from her 2018 appearance on The View.

I keep seeing this stupid dress photo. And although it is funny, it is not real. This is a photoshopped photo from my 2018 appearance on The View.

Fact #3 : Stormy Daniels Has Not Attended Trump Trial

Stormy Daniels also pointed out that she is not in New York City, and has not attended Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial. In fact, she is “currently directing a TV show in a completely time zone”!

It is scary how gullible a lot of people are because I’m not in NYC and haven’t been to court yet. I’ve been directing a TV show in a completely different time zone.

Fact #4 : Viral Photo Based On Infamous Mushroom Line-Up!

Just in case you are wondering what the fuss is about, the mushrooms are a reference to the infamous October 2018 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which Stormy Daniels picked out President Donald Trump’s penis from a mushroom line-up.

Rep Andy Biggs : “Devout Catholic” Joe Biden banned religious symbols from the White House’s Easter egg art contest. He’s recognizing Easter as Trans Day of Visibility instead of one of the holiest days on the Christian calendar.

Collin Rugg : Not only has President Biden declared Easter Sunday 2024 as Transgender Day of Visibility, but he is banning religious-themed Easter egg designs at the Easter Egg Roll event. How Catholic of him.

The White House is banning National Guard children from submitting Easter egg designs that include “questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created or promoted by right-wing American and Christian conservatives, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Joe Biden Did Not Ban Religious-Themed Easter Eggs!

This is really silly, but let me just point out that US President Joe Biden did not ban religious-themed Easter eggs in the White House Easter Egg art contest, or at the White House Easter Egg Roll.

What these right-wing American and Christian conservatives are apparently so outraged about is a flyer (PDF) calling for children in National Guard families to submit artwork for Easter eggs. Selected designs would then be painted onto real hen eggs by talented egg artists and displayed at the White House.

The flyer called for children to draw a “snapshot of their life“, but asked that their artwork must not contain include “questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements“.

However, those submission guidelines have nothing to do with Joe Biden, Jill Biden, or the Biden Administration.

Fact #2 : Easter Egg Art Rules Set By American Egg Board

The eggs for the White House Easter Egg Roll event, as well as the Easter Egg art contest, are all sponsored by the American Egg Board. It is the American Egg Board that created those rules as the Sponsor.

It is clearly stated in the flyer that the Sponsor (American Egg Board) decides on the guidelines, and decides on the submissions.

[The] Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may remove any Submission and disqualify an entrant if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the entrant’s Submission fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions.

In addition, the flyer also states that participants will grant the Sponsor (American Egg Board), the right to use their artwork, and collect their personal data. It also referred participants to the American Egg Board’s privacy policy.

This appears to be another example of misinformation circulating on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Donald Trump Warned Of ‘Bloodbath’ If Not Elected

Let me start by pointing out that former President Donald Trump did indeed warn of a ‘bloodbath’ if he is not elected in the 2024 US Presidential elections.

He made those comments at a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio, on 16 March 2024. Here is the transcript of his speech:

Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.

So yes, Donald Trump did indeed warn or say that “it’s going to be a bloodbath for the country” if he doesn’t “get elected“.

Fact #2 : Donald Trump ‘Bloodbath’ Warning Was About Car Industry

That said, it is important to note that Donald Trump’s ‘bloodbath’ warning referred to the automotive industry, because it came after his comments on the car manufacturing plants China is building in Mexico:

To be clear – Donald Trump was warning of an economic bloodbath, and not a literal, violent bloodbath.

Fact #3 : Mainstream Media Did Not Misrepresent ‘Bloodbath’ Comments

Donald Trump is known for making inflammatory comments, so it is easy to see how people may believe that he was actually referring to a violent ‘bloodbath’. However, did the mainstream media really misrepresent his ‘bloodbath’ comments as suggested or claimed?

Not quite. Major media outlets, and even some political outlets, made it clear in their titles that Trump was referring to a bloodbath for the auto industry:

ABC News : Trump, while addressing auto industry, says there will be ‘bloodbath’ if he loses 2024 election, ramps up anti-migrant rhetoric

Daily Express UK : Donald Trump warns of ‘bloodbath’ for US auto industry if he is not re-elected

The Daily Beast : Trump Declares It Will Be a ‘Bloodbath’ for Auto Industry if He’s Not Elected

While other media outlets did not refer to the auto industry in their titles, they were clear in their articles that Donald Trump was referring to the automotive industry.

New York Times : Trump Says Some Migrants Are ‘Not People’ and Predicts a ‘Blood Bath’ if He Loses

While discussing the U.S. economy and its auto industry, Mr. Trump promised to place tariffs on cars manufactured abroad if he won in November. He added: “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a blood bath for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a blood bath for the country.”

The Guardian : Trump predicts ‘bloodbath’ if he loses election and claims ‘Biden beat Obama’

The US, Trump insisted during comments about the auto workers and the car industry, was headed for “a bloodbath” if he was rejected again at the polls in favor of Biden.

It is very likely that those who have been complaining that the mainstream media was representing Trump’s ‘bloodbath’ comments did not actually read the articles.

Fact #4 : Trump Warned There Won’t Be Another Election

To be fair to those who think that Donald Trump was inciting violence again, he did suggest later that American will never have another election if he is not elected in 2024.

I don’t think you’re going to have another election in this country, if we don’t win this election … certainly not an election that’s meaningful.

While Trump appears to quickly backtrack on his remarks, his supporters and fans may not realise it, and may be incited to secure his election victory by hook or by crook.

Truth : Jose Ibarra Did Not Enter US Under Donald Trump’s DED Program!

Let’s take a look at the claim that Jose Ibarra entered the US under Donald Trump’s DED program, and see what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : Donald Trump Issued Venezuela DED On His Last Full Day

First, let me start with a quick recap on the DED program that Donald Trump issued for Venezuela.

The Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) program offers temporary legal status for 18 months to Venezuelans fleeing the humanitarian crisis brought on by Nicolás Maduro’s regime. The DED is similar to the Temporary Protected Status (TPS), which protects recipients from deportation, and allows them to get work permits.

While Trump considered issuing a DED for Venezuela for several years, he refused to issue one until his last full day in office – 19 January 2021.

Fact #2 : DED For Venezuelans Have Some Limits

The DED that Donald Trump issued not only give Venezuelan migrants in the United States protection from deportation, it also gives them the right to seek employment. However, it wasn’t a blank cheque, and had some stipulations.

Pursuant to my constitutional authority to conduct the foreign relations of the United States, I have determined that it is in the foreign policy interest of the United States to defer the removal of any national of Venezuela, or alien without nationality who last habitually resided in Venezuela, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided below.

Accordingly, I hereby direct you to take appropriate measures to defer for 18 months the removal of any national of Venezuela, or alien without nationality who last habitually resided in Venezuela, who is present in the United States as of January 20, 2021, except for aliens who:

(1) have voluntarily returned to Venezuela or their country of last habitual residence outside the United States;

(2) have not continuously resided in the United States since January 20, 2021;

(3) are inadmissible under section 212(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(3)) or removable under section 237(a)(4) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(4));

(4) who have been convicted of any felony or 2 or more misdemeanors committed in the United States, or who meet the criteria set forth in section 208(b)(2)(A) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1158(b)(2)(A));

(5) who were deported, excluded, or removed, prior to January 20, 2021;

(6) who are subject to extradition;

(7) whose presence in the United States the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined is not in the interest of the United States or presents a danger to public safety; or

(8) whose presence in the United States the Secretary of State has reasonable grounds to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.

Fact #3 : Jose Ibarra Did Not Qualify For DED

The DED that Donald Trump issued on his last full day of office was specifically limited to Venezuelan citizens who was present in the United States on 20 January 2021.

Jose Ibarra was first arrested with his girlfriend, Layling Franco, and her 5 year-old son, by US Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas, on 8 September 2022, after they illegally crossed the border.

Since he entered the US more than 1.5 years after that DED was issued, Jose Ibarra did not qualify for protection under the DED that Donald Trump issued.

Fact #4 : DED For Venezuela Expired In July 2022

Even if Jose Ibarra was somehow present in the United States on 20 January 2021, he was no longer protected by the DED that Donald Trump signed, because that expired 18 months after it was issued – on July 20, 2022.

As I pointed out above, the Deferred Enforce Departure that Donald Trump signed on his last full day of office lasted only 18 months. From 21 July 2022 onwards, there was no longer any DED protection for Venezuelan illegal migrants in the United States, and they can be deported.

ALERT: Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Venezuela expired on July 20, 2022. Venezuelans and individuals without nationality who last habitually resided in Venezuela who wish to apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) under the existing designation, including those who were covered under the January 2021 grant of DED, may apply for TPS before the registration period ends Sept. 9, 2022. You must meet all eligibility requirements for TPS Venezuela before we may grant your application.

DED Period: Jan. 20, 2021 – July 20, 2022

Fact #5 : Donald Trump Did Not Issue TPS For Venezuela

Some have pointed out that Jose Ibarra entered the US before TPS (Temporary Protected Status) expired for Venezuela.

As he was caught by US Border Patrol on 8 September 2022, it is possible that he did not manage to apply for TPS by the deadline of 9 September – the very next day.

But even if Jose Ibarra successfully applied for TPS by that deadline, Donald Trump would not have been responsible for that. The US President can issue DED, but TPS can only be granted by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Let’s take a closer look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : Joe Biden Did Not Propose To Start Vaccinating America!

Let me start by pointing out that Joe Biden did not propose to start vaccinating America.

It is unknown if those people promoting that claim have hearing problems, or they are trying to gaslight other people. What is certain is that – Joe Biden never said that in the video.

If you watch the video, and listen carefully, you will hear him referring to vaccinating America in the past tense:

Folks, we’ve come through pretty tough times, and I know, I know we got a lot more to do. We had to stay off… we had to start off by vaccinating America. Trump stood flat-footed during that period of time before the pandemic.

To be clear – Joe Biden was speaking in the past tense, referring to his push to vaccinate America against COVID-19 early in his term.

Fact #2 : Donald Trump Did Promote COVID-19 Vaccines

Let me throw a bone to right-wing conservatives, who had to stoop so low as to mishear what Joe Biden actually said – former President Donald Trump did promote COVID-19 vaccines.

In fact, let me give him credit speeding up the development and approval of COVID-19 vaccines through Operation Warp Speed. He would later downplay the COVID-19 vaccines in his final months in office, and both Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in private.

But former President Donald Trump backtracked (again?) and recommended that Americans get vaccinated against COVID-19 in March 2021.

I would recommend it. And I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly.

But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that and I agree with that also. But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works.

Later in December 2021, he would tell his fans that he also took the COVID-19 booster dose, as recommended by the CDC. At the same Dallas event, he told the crowd to take credit for helping to save lives using the COVID-19 vaccines:

Look, we did something that was historic. We saved tens of millions of lives worldwide. We together, all of us — not me, we — we got a vaccine done, three vaccines done, and tremendous therapeutics.

This was going to ravage the country far beyond what it is right now. Take credit for it. Take credit for it…. Don’t let them take it away. Don’t take it away from ourselves.

Fact #3 : Joe Biden Referred To Donald Trump’s Disbanding NSC Directorate

Right after stating that he started his administration by vaccinating America against COVID-19, Joe Biden referred to the Trump Administration’s decision in 2018 to dismantle a National Security Council (NSC) directorate at the White House that was charged with preparing for when, not if, another pandemic arrives.

The NSC Directorate of Global Health Security and Biodefense was created by former President Barack Obama in 2016, in response to the 2014 Ebola outbreak; and survived the transition to the Trump Administration. However, it was disbanded in May 2018 by John Bolton, right after President Donald Trump appointed him as head of the National Security Council.

So when President Donald Trump said that the SARS-CoVo-2 coronavirus “came out of nowhere” and “blindsided the world”, public health officials and national security experts disagreed, as they had been warning about coming pandemics for years. They also criticised his Administration’s decision to disband the directorate.

It would be nice if the office was still there. I wouldn’t necessarily characterize it as a mistake (to eliminate the unit). I would say we worked very well with that office.

In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk appeared to suggest that NYC migrant Jhoan Boada was set free and given a free ticket to California, after beating up police officers in Times Square!

Elon Musk : Illegals beat up American police officers in Times Square, got out of jail for free and, instead of being deported, were given free tickets to California …

Why?

While the post did not mention the illegals he was referring to, Elon Musk attached a photo of NYC migrant Jhoan Boada showing his infamous middle finger salute as President Joe Biden awards him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Truth : NYC Migrant Jhoan Boada Was Exonerated Of All Charges!

Let’s take a closer look at Elon Musk’s post and find out what the facts really are!

Fact #1 : NYC Migrant Jhoan Boada Was Exonerated Of All Charges!

Let me start by pointing out that the NYC migrant in photo that Elon Musk posted, Jhoan Boada, was exonerated of all charges in connection with the Times Square brawl involving a group of migrants and NYPD police officers.

On Saturday, 27 January 2024, two officers and a lieutenant from the NYPD Midtown South Precinct approached a group of men outside a migrant shelter on West 42nd Street at around 8:30 PM. When they tried to arrest one of the men, several other migrants attacked them.

Surveillance video recorded several migrants kicking and punching the NYPD officers, while trying to pry them off a man the police had taken to the ground. Seven migrants were charged for their alleged roles in that fight.

Jhoan Boada, a native of Venezuela, was one of those who were arrested and charged for his alleged participation in the brawl. When Boada infamously showed bystanders the middle fingers after leaving his arraignment in court, he would become the face of the mostly right-wing outrage over the incident.

However, just over a month later – on 2 March 2024, the Manhattan District Attorney dropped all charges against Jhoan Boada, calling it a case of mistaken identity. As Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg announced:

Our investigation has revealed that Marcelino Estee, not Jhoan Boada, is the individual described in this complaint, wearing the black & white jacket with pink shoes, committing this assault.

We are therefore moving to dismiss this complaint against Jhoan Boada.

To be clear, Jhoan Boada – the infamous NYC migrant who flipped the bird and made right-wing conservatives so outraged, is completely innocent of the crime. He was not involved in the Times Square brawl with NYPD officers.

Fact #2 : Jhoan Boada Photo Was Edited

Just in case you are wondering, the viral photo of Jhoan Boada showing his two middle fingers while receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Joe Biden isn’t genuine. It was photoshopped.

Fact #3 : Jhoan Boada Was Not Given Free Ticket To California

There is no evidence that Jhoan Boada was given any free ticket to flee to California, after being set free.

There is also no reason for Jhoan Boada to flee to California because… he was exonerated of all charges!

No one, not even Elon Musk, provided any evidence that Jhoan Boada was given a free ticket to California.

Fact #4 : No NYC Migrant Suspect Received Free Tickets To California

The claim that those NYC migrant suspects were given free tickets to California also appears to be false.

On 1 February 2024, a New York City official told CNN that four of the suspects who were arrested and subsequently released were given bus tickets by a faith-based charity, and were en-route to Calexico, California.

However, the same senior law enforcement official backtracked two weeks later, stating that the New York City police no longer believed that the four men actually fled on a bus to California.

When police in Calexico visited an address provided by the charity, no one could identify the suspects. One of the suspects was later arrested in New York City on separate robbery charges. That led the police to believe that the tip was yet another “misidentification”.

White Hats Foil (another) Plot to Assassinate President Trump

U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division officers on Wednesday arrested two men suspected of plotting to assassinate President Donald J. Trump at the CPAC conference in National Harbor, Maryland, sources at CID’s headquarters told Real Raw News.

The suspects appeared to be foreigners who spoke limited English with thick Eastern European accents, characterized by heavy use of guttural and palatal consonants. Although the duo discussed dining arrangements and not devious details of assassinating the president, the existence of the map and its shady artists raised the alarm, and the CID officers, having notified their commanding officer and Gen. Smith’s office, requested permission to surveil the suspects.

CID learned quickly that the suspects had leased a nondescript van and rented a room at the MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino a mile north of the convention center. White Hats at U.S. Army Cyber Command accessed the hotel’s registry and discovered that the men had booked separate rooms using the undeniable aliases of William Henry James and Stephen Butler.

Early Wednesday morning, while the sky was still black as pitch and “James” and “Butler” slept soundly in their rooms, the CID team located the suspects’ van, parked on a crossroad, and discovered that someone had cut out a circular hole—large enough to accommodate a scoped rifle—in a rear door pane of glass, which had been carefully reseated using transparent tape.

Our source said the team bypassed the vehicle alarm. The interior held electronic surveillance gear and a steel case secured with a padlock, which CID picked. Upon opening the case, their fears became realized; it held a suppressor-equipped M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle, a U.S. Army weapon that supplemented the venerable M24 Sniper Weapons System in 2010 and saw combat in Afghanistan a year later. The case also had two pistols with silencers, the drawn map, ammunition, and notes on President Trump’s publicized travel itinerary.

CID seized the van and took “James” and “Butler” to an undisclosed location for interrogation, our source said, adding that President Donald J. Trump was immediately made aware of the situation and again encouraged to postpone his speech—should additional assailants lurk elsewhere nearby. But Trump would have none of it. He agreed to added protection but refused to shirk his responsibilities to MAGA and the United States of America. He said his oration would continue as scheduled, and he will speak tonight, delivering what MAGA says will be a passionate Magnum Opus.

According to our source, White Hats identified one suspect as a member of Ukraine’s Intelligence Directorate who entered the U.S. with forged credentials 10 days ago. How or where they obtained the rifle is unclear.

“We know one thing for sure, President Trump plans to stop funding Ukraine’s aggression. That alone might be reason enough for them to take a pop shot at him. We’re doing whatever’s needed to get a full confession,” our source said.

Truth : CID Did Not Foil Ukrainian Plot To Assassinate Donald Trump!

The truth is – this is just another fake story created by Real Raw News, just to generate page views and money.

Fact #1 : Donald Trump Is No Longer President

Let me just start by pointing out that Donald Trump is no longer the President of the United States. He has not been President since he lost the election and left the White House on 20 January 2021.

Yet, the Real Raw News article kept referring to him as President Donald Trump, instead of former President Donald Trump, or just Donald Trump.

Fact #2 : No Plot To Assassinate Donald Trump Was Recently Foiled

While many people dislike Donald Trump, and quite a few would like to see him dead, there is no known recent plot to assassinate the former president.

If any US agency ever foiled a plot to assassinate any former President, it would have been major news. Yet no legitimate news agency in the United States, or anywhere else in the world, reported on such a shocking development?

More so if the Ukrainian Intelligence Directorate was actually implicated in such an assassination plot. The Kremlin and its propaganda machine (and its useful idiots) would have actively promoted the story! Yet there was not even a squeak.

Even Donald Trump himself never said anything about an assassination plot. If it really did happen, he would have talked about it non-stop. Yet he said nothing of the sort.

That’s because it never happened. No one foiled a plot by the Ukrainian Intelligence Directorate to assassinate Donald Trump in February 2024.

Fact #3 : US Army CID Has No Power Over Civilians

The claim that the US Army CID officers foiled a plot to assassinate Donald Trump is absurd.

The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is the law enforcement agency for the US Army. The civilian justice system is separate from the military justice system. CID officers can only investigate felony crimes and serious violations of military law within the US Army!

US Army CID officers would not be “shadowing” any American politician, or former Presidents. Not only is that not within their job scope, they don’t even have the authority to do that!

Fact #4 : US Army CID Officers Cannot Arrest Anyone

US Army CID officers are not law enforcement officers. They are really more like detectives who investigate serious crimes in the US Army.

They don’t even have the power to charge anyone with crimes. They just investigate allegations, and turn over their official findings to the appropriate US Army command and legal authority for further action.

Fact #5 : Real Raw News Is A Fake News Website

Real Raw News is a fake news website that capitalises on making shocking but fake stories to generate page views and money.

To protect himself from legal repercussions, the owner and writer, Michael Baxter (real name – Michael Tuffin), claims that his articles are “humour, parody, and satire“.

That disclaimer, which is not clearly mentioned in his articles, lets him keep creating fake news to go viral, and generate money.
