Right after the Harris-Trump debate on ABC News ended, some people started claiming or suggesting that Vice President Kamala Harris was secretly using the NOVA H1 audio earrings to cheat!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news created about Kamala Harris, and here are the reasons why…

Kamala Harris was not wearing NOVA H1 audio earrings

Many people are claiming that Kamala Harris wore the NOVA H1 audio earrings during her debate with Donald Trump. That’s not true.

The NOVA H1 audio earrings are pearl earrings that are clipped onto the earlobes. Each earring has an integrated microphone inside the pearl that projects sound into the ear canal.

As you can see from the photos below, the NOVA H1 audio earrings have a thick and solid clip which connects the large stem (containing the electronics and battery) to the microphone inside the pearl.

While the NOVA H1 sports a large pearl, it uses a completely different design than the earrings Kamala Harris wore during her debate with Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris wore Tiffany double hinged pearl earrings

The earrings Kamala Harris wore to her ABC News debate with Donald Trump has a large pearl too, but lacks a thick clip. In fact, her earrings appear to have a double hinge design – the pearl sits on a hinged loop of metal.

If you look at the zoomed-in photo that we provided below, the hinge appears to be hanging freely below her earlobe. The earring Kamala Harris wore does not appear to be clipped onto her earlobe, and is likely attached by a post.

Kamala Harris appears to be wearing the South Sea Pearl Earrings (no longer available online) from Tiffany & Co. It has a similar design to Double Pearl Hinged Earrings, but features 9-10 mm South Sea Pearls and is 18K gold-plated instead of silver-plated.

What is certain is that Kamala Harris was not wearing the NOVA H1 audio earrings.

Kamala Harris wore the same earrings earlier

Kamala Harris is known to favour pearls, and is often seen wearing pearl earrings. In fact, she was seen wearing the same earrings at earlier events. For example:

People are sharing an article (archive) by The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch), which claims that the WEF issued guidelines restricting people from washing their clothes!

Here is an excerpt of the long and (intentionally?) confusing article. Feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

Klaus Schwab Wants To Ban People Washing Their Pants More Than Once Per Month

Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) has issued guidelines regarding how often the public should be allowed to wash their clothes, including underwear and gym clothes.

The WEF has already ordered compliant governments to move towards a future in which citizens will be restricted from buying more than a small number of new items of clothing per year.

Now, according to Schwab, the threat of climate change means people no longer have the right to wear laundered and clean clothes.

Citing a new study, Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) is urging governments to clamp down on people who wash their jeans and pants more than once per month, and their sweaters more than once per fortnight.

Truth : WEF Is Not Restricting People From Washing Clothes!

This is yet another example of fake news created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : WEF Did Not issue Any Guidelines On Washing Clothes

First, let me just point out that the World Economic Forum (WEF) did not issue any guidelines on how often people should wash their clothes. The WEF certainly did not restrict people from washing underwear or gym clothes!

If the WEF actually issued such guidelines, or even attempt to restrict people from washing their clothes, it would have been reported widely. Yet there has been no report of such a restriction anywhere by any reputable media outlet. That’s because it was all made up!

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice article provided no evidence to back up its “fact checked” claim.

Fact #2 : WEF Video Was About What Scientists Are Saying

The People’s Voice article is based on a WEF video called “Scientists Are Urging Us To Wash Our Clothes Less To Help The Planet“.

If you watch the video, you will realise that it is merely telling us what scientists at the Society of Chemical Industry are saying about the impact of washing clothes on CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions, and the waste it introduces into waterways.

Scientists are urging us to wash our clothes less to help the planet because Landry has a “huge environmental impact”.

70% of the CO2 emissions generated by a cotton t-shirt come from washing and drying it. Laundry also puts detergents and microfibres into waterways, which is damaging to ecosystems.

Too much washing also wears out clothes faster, meaning more are sent to landfill. The EU alone produces 2.2 million tonnes of textile waste a year.

Experts at the Society of Chemical Industry say we shouldn’t wash clothes after every wear…

They say jeans shouldn’t be washed more than once a month, jumpers once a fortnight, and pyjamas once a week.

The exceptions are underwear and gym clothes, which should be washed every wear.

If using a machine, try lower temperatures and shorter cycles.

As you can tell, the WEF video isn’t about restricting people from washing their clothes, it’s about educating them on the impact that washing clothes too often can have.

Fact #3 : Video Was Posted Almost 3 Years Ago!

The People’s Voice article appears to suggest that this happened recently, I should point out that the WEF posted its video almost 3 years ago – on 29 September 2021.

It must either be a really slow day at The People’s Voice, or it took them more than two years to realise this…

Fact #4 : The People’s Voice Is Known For Fake News

The People’s Voice is the current name for NewsPunch, which possibly changed its name because its brand has been so thoroughly discredited after posting numerous shocking but fake stories.

Founded as Your News Wire in 2014, it was rebranded as NewsPunch in November 2018, before becoming The People’s Voice. A 2017 BuzzFeed report identified NewsPunch as the second-largest source of popular fake news on Facebook that year.

Its articles have been regularly debunked as fake news, so you should never share anything from NewsPunch / The People’s Voice. Here are some of its fake stories that I fact checked earlier:

Right after news broke that Farah El Kadhi died suddenly at just 36 years of age, some people immediately claimed or suggested the Tunisian beauty influencer was killed by the COVID-19 vaccine!

No Evidence Farah El Kadhi Died Suddenly From Vaccine SADS!

It is now tradition for anti-vaccine activists to immediately blame all injuries or deaths on the COVID-19 vaccines. Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of fake news about the COVID-19 vaccines…

Fact #1 : Farah El Kadhi Died Of A Suspected Heart Attack

Let me start by pointing out that Farah El Kadhi’s official cause of death has not yet been determined, although she is suspected to have died from a heart attack or cardiac arrest on a yacht.

Born in Tunisia, Farah El Kadhi was a trained architect and a fashion influencer with more than a million followers on Instagram.

Farah El Kadhi was in Malta on holiday and to promote a number of companies and services through Instagram, and had earlier posed for photos while the yacht was still docked at the Vittoriosa marina. She uploaded a number of posts and stories showing Malta in the background, with her last Instagram story uploaded at around 4 PM on 16 June 2024.

Hours later, she was found unconscious onboard the yacht, and rushed to the Mater Dei Hospital in the harbour town of Msida at about 6:30 AM on 17 June, where she was pronounced dead. Farah reportedly had no injuries on her when she was discovered.

Fact #2 : Malta Police Is Investigating Her Death

On Friday, 21 June, a Malta police representative confirmed that “a 36 year old Tunisian female was certified dead at Mater Dei Hospital” on June 17, and that a magisterial inquiry and police investigations are ongoing. An autopsy will also be carried out as part of that inquiry.

Fellow Tunisian influencer and a close fried, Soulayma Hneynia, who resides in Malta, said that Farah El Kadhi died “peacefully in her sleep” following a heart attack.

That said – Farah El Kadhi’s official cause of death has not confirmed. Until her autopsy results are completed, and the Malta authorities and/or her family reveals her cause of death, no one knows for sure how she died – whether it was a heart attack, a cardiac arrest, or something else.

Fact #3 : Unknown If Farah El Kadhi Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Despite claims or suggestions that Farah El Kadhi was fully-vaccinated, there isn’t any actual evidence that she ever received the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is possible that Farah El Kadhi was unvaccinated against COVID-19, because the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in Tunisia.

In fact, many people who were injured or died suddenly were actually unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Macaulay, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless her family (or the authorities) reveal her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who tells you that Farah El Kadhi was vaccinated or otherwise, is likely lying to you. None of us know that.

Fact #4 : No Evidence Farah El Kadhi Promoted Vaccines

The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch) claimed in its article that Farah El Kadhi promoted the COVID-19 vaccines. However, there is no evidence that she ever promoted the COVID-19 vaccines on her official Instagram account.

Unsurprisingly, The People’s Voice article provided no evidence that Farah El Kadhi was vaccinated against COVID-19, or that she ever promoted them.

Fact #5 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear With Hours / Days

Even if Farah El Kadhi was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, she would have received her doses about three years ago! She cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination. Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Truth : Stormy Daniels Did Not Wear Mushroom Dress To Trump Trial!

This appears to be another example of fake news circulating on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Photo Of Mushroom Dress Was Edited!

Let me start by quickly pointing out that the viral photo of Stormy Daniels wearing a mushroom dress is fake. It was most definitely edited by simply adding orange mushrooms to the original photo.

If you look carefully, you can see that the mushrooms were simply added to her blue dress, and they do not change with the folds of her dress.

It was actually edited from a photo taken when Stormy Daniels went for her television interview on The View in New York, in April 2018. She wore a shiny blue dress that day, without any mushrooms on it.

Fact #2 : Stormy Daniels Confirms Photo Was Edited

Stormy Daniels herself refuted the viral photo, stating that it was photoshopped from her 2018 appearance on The View.

I keep seeing this stupid dress photo. And although it is funny, it is not real. This is a photoshopped photo from my 2018 appearance on The View.

Fact #3 : Stormy Daniels Has Not Attended Trump Trial

Stormy Daniels also pointed out that she is not in New York City, and has not attended Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial. In fact, she is “currently directing a TV show in a completely time zone”!

It is scary how gullible a lot of people are because I’m not in NYC and haven’t been to court yet. I’ve been directing a TV show in a completely different time zone.

Fact #4 : Viral Photo Based On Infamous Mushroom Line-Up!

Just in case you are wondering what the fuss is about, the mushrooms are a reference to the infamous October 2018 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which Stormy Daniels picked out President Donald Trump’s penis from a mushroom line-up.

Since then, Donald Trump has be associated with short and fat mushrooms. Anytime people speak of Trump and mushrooms in the same sentence, it is in reference to his penis shape and size.

This appears to be yet another example of fake news circulating on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Taylor Swift Necklace Photo Was Edited

Let me start by pointing out that Taylor Swift did not wear any necklace that said “I Love Vaccines, Autism, Abortions, Homosexuals, Sex Changes and Crime“.

If she actually wore something like that, it would have been reportedly by the mainstream media, as well as celebrity blogs. Yet, there was no legitimate media report, not even outrage by right-wing conservatives on social media.

That’s because it never happened – the photo was edited to falsely show that the pendant had the words “I Love Vaccines, Autism, Abortions, Homosexuals, Sex Changes and Crime“.

Fact #2 : It Was A Kobe Bryant Necklace

The silver necklace that Taylor Swift wore that night was designed by Vanessa Bryant – Kobe Bryant’s widow, for the Mambacita x ZC capsule collection sold by the jeweller Zoë Chicco.

The pendant featured Kobe Bryant’s famous quote – Bet on yourself, surrounded by a circle of diamonds.

As you can see in the photo of the actual necklace, the pendant does not say “”I Love Vaccines, Autism, Abortions, Homosexuals, Sex Changes and Crime“.

Fact #3 : Vanessa Bryant Highlighted Taylor Swift’s Necklace

After fans share the photo of Taylor Swift wearing the Kobe Bryant necklace-pendant, Vanessa Bryant reposted the photo, adding “We Love You Taylor“, a love emoji, and a Swifties sticker.

Fact #4 : Taylor Swift Is Close To Kobe Bryant + His Family

Taylor Swift has known Kobe Bryant and his family for many years. In 2015, Kobe Bryant actually made a surprise appearance at Swift’s concert in Los Angeles, where he unveiled a special banner to celebrate Swift’s 16th sold-out performance at the Staples Center.

In his 2019 interview on The Jordan Harbinger Show, Kobe Bryant said that he was a big fan of Taylor Swift, and revealed that she was close to his daughters even before she became a megastar.

I think it’s important to listen to people who do great things, you know? So it’s not just genre specific but it’s like, Taylor’s been at the top of the game for a very, very long time. How and why?

She’s a sweet kid. I mean, she was a sweetheart to my girls before she even blew up and became Taylor Swift. So that’s why I’ll always, if she needs anything from me, I’m always there.

Sadly, on 26 January 2020, Kobe Bryant and his 13 year-old daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash, together with seven other people. Taylor Swift quickly paid tribute to the NBA legend.

My heart is in pieces hearing the news of this unimaginable tragedy. I can’t fathom what the families are going through. Kobe meant so much to me and to us all. Sending my prayers, love, and endless condolences to Vanessa and the family and anyone who lost someone on that flight.

Vanessa Bryant later created the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation in memory of her husband and daughter.

Fact #4 : Taylor Swift Wore Necklace In January 2024

I should also point out that Taylor Swift did not wear the necklace “last night” as in 4 April 2024.

That photo was taken on Thursday, 11 January 2024, when Taylor Swift was spotted walking to the Electric Lady Studios in New York City, wearing a fuzzy zebra-print jacket, olive green T-shirt and a pair of black leggings, with Ivy Park sneakers, a pair of sunglasses and a round necklace pendant.

Fact #5 : This Is Just Taylor Swift Fake News

Here’s the thing about AI deep-fakes…

In order to make an AI Deepfake convincing, you need the following….

🔴 Deepfakes need a source that closely resembles the atmosphere it’s trying to manufacture the person in.

In this case, compare the 2016 video to the cancer announcement video.

In Both videos, she is outdoors, in very similar matching color sequences in nature. Not to mention, the same exact shirt.

🔴 AI does not work well when others are in the frame or if there‘s too much movement.

Case in point, the Royal Family recently got busted releasing an AI photo of Kate with her children. It was only noticeable because there were numerous people in the frame.

Additionally, if the person is too close, you will see imperfections. So farther away is better when it comes to deepfakes.
— case in point, the cancer announcement video shows a distorted left nostril when she tilts her head or has a sudden movement.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
It’s pretty much conclusive for me.. Kate Middletons cancer Announcement video is an AI Deepfake.

So if this was a deepfake, what REALLY happened to Kate Middleton?

How long until we hear those words… “things took a turn for the worst”?

No Evidence Kate Middleton Cancer Reveal Was AI Deep Fake Video!

This appears to be yet another example of fake news about the Kate Middleton, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : That’s A Different Shirt

While people are claiming or suggesting that the AI deepfake video used an old 2016 video where Kate Middleton wore the same shirt (jumper), that does not seem to be the case either.

Both shirts / jumpers may look similar, they aren’t the same. For one thing – the 2016 shirt has shorter sleeves, and lack cuffs. The 2024 shirt has longer sleeves and cuffs.

Just in case you are wondering that the longer sleeves and cuffs might be AI-generated too, that’s highly unlikely, as I was able to identify them as separate clothes from different brands.

The 2016 shirt was a J.Crew ‘Tippi’ Striped Sweater in Ivory/Navy, while the 2024 shirt is actually an Erdem striped Lotus sweater in black and white.

Fact #2 : Kate Middleton Often Wears Same Jumper!

These conspiracy theorists appear to believe that Kate Middleton will never wear another outfit twice. Well, if they bothered to investigate, they would have discovered that the Princess of Wales loves her Breton top, wearing it publicly on a number of occasions.

May 2021 – while visiting St. Andrews University in Scotland
April 2023 – for Prince Louis’ fifth birthday portraits
1 November 2023 – while meeting the “Dadvengers” community support group

Were the Breton jumpers also AI deepfake generated back then? Obviously, not…

Fact #3 : Analysis Shows Video Is Not Deepfake

According to a Deepware deepfake analysis, the video of Kate Middleton speaking about her cancer diagnosis and treatment is not a deepfake video.

Fact #4 : BBC Studios Filmed The Video

Finally, let me just point out that while the video was released by Kensington Palace on behalf of Prince William and Princess Catherine, it was filmed on Wednesday, 20 March 2024, by BBC Studios – the production arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

It was only on Friday, 22 March 2024, that BBC News itself was briefed by Kensington Palace, together with other media outlets. Later that evening, Kensington Palace released the video in which Princess Catherine revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer.

Along with other media, BBC News was briefed by Kensington Palace on the announcement this afternoon.

To be clear – this video was filmed by BBC Studios, and was not recorded by Kensington Palace staff, Kate Middleton, or Prince William.

If this was really a deepfake video, BBC Studios would not need to physically film Kate Middleton that Wednesday afternoon. It could have simply used a stand-in model.

BBC Studios also stated later that it did not make any edits to the video, and was also not involved in its distribution.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created on TikTok, and shared on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : The Photo Was Generated Using Midjourney

The first photo of Pope Francis sporting a fashionable white puffer coat appeared to have been created by trippy_art_special using Midjourney – a text-to-image generator powered by artificial intelligence.

Tripy_art_special posted four Pope Francis fashion photos in the Midjourney Reddit on Friday, 24 March 2023, with the title “The Pope Drip“, but only the first one went viral and was reposted in Twitter, where many people believed it was real, with some calling him “The Dope Pope“.

It then became an inspiration for other people to create their version of Pope Francis looking “dope”, creating the perception that Pope Francis ditched his simple clothes for the latest fashion.

It is unknown if the other photos were also created using Midjourney, or other AI image generators like DALL-E or Stable Diffusion.

Fact #2 : The Photos Have Anomalies

The viral photos of Pope Francis looking fashionable are amazingly realistic, but Midjourney and other text-to-image generators still have trouble with hands and fingers.

If you look at the first viral photo above, you can see that his right hand appears to have most of its fingers cut off, and yet, is implausibly holding onto some kind of object.

The right hand appears normal at first glance, but if you look closely, you will see something odd. Just under the sleeve, the thumb and three fingers are visible, with rings on the middle and ring (fourth) fingers. Yet, those two fingers mysteriously merge and become a single finger a short distance below the rings!

Fact #3 : Pope Francis Is Famous For Dressing Plain

Unlike many of his predecessors, Pope Francis is notable for dressing plain and simple, dispensing with excess adornment.

Instead of silk, Pope Francis opts for simpler and cheaper material like wool. He also wears a simple white cassock, and simple black leather shoes made by a friend, Carlos Samaria in Buenos Aires.

He sports a basic black watch with a white dial, reportedly a Swatch that only costs about $56, and simple glasses. Even the cross he wears is the same iron cross he wore since his anointment as auxiliary bishop of Buenos Aires in 1992.

Pope Francis also chose to “reuse” a modest papal ring in gold-plated silver that was made decades ago, instead of a new papal ring made in gold specifically for him.

Hence, it is rather peculiar why so many people actually believe that Pope Francis is now a fashion icon with expensive taste!

Pope Francis’s penchant for simple, practical clothes has been coined as the “papal athleisure” style, which has been adopted by the cardinals and many Catholics. In a way, Pope Francis is a fashion influencer, even if he never meant to be one!

Fact #4 : This Is Just Another Example Of AI-Generated Imagery

Fact #1 : Jeremy Ruehlemann Was Found Unconscious

At 9:50 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, the New York Police Department (NYPD) received a 911 call about an “unconscious male” at a midtown Manhattan apartment.

NYPD officers arrived at the apartment, to find 27 year-old Jeremy Ruehlemann “unconscious and unresponsive” in the bathroom. Unfortunately, he could not be revived, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fashion model had been living with his mother for the past year in upstate New York, and worked as a bartender in a Woodstock restaurant. He often travel into the city for modelling jobs, staying with his brother or a friend.

His death was announced by fashion designer Christian Siriano, who called Ruehlemann his muse:

I have never posted anything like this but to lose a friend who was such a beautiful soul is just really hard. This is for Jeremy, the most beautiful man that gave so much love to everyone he met no matter what. He was one of my muses and he always will be.

He inspired me and I will love him forever. I’m sending all my love to his family and friends who lost someone so special. I know we will meet again one day but right now I just want to hug him. Rest well J we all love you so much! Send love to his family today please.

Fact #2 : His Father Said Jeremy Ruehlemann Died From Drug Overdose

On Tuesday, January 24, his father, Achim Ruehlemann, said that Jeremy likely died from an accidental drug overdose.

He did rehab and had tried to get off prescription medication. Obviously, he was not successful. There was no desire to end his life, this was accidental.

Obviously, he had some issues with drug addiction, but he was very happy. He loved life. He was very vibrant, a wonderful soul and a very giving guy.

Fact #3 : His Cause Of Death Is Still Under Investigation

I should point out though that the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office is still investigating his death, and has not issued an official cause of death.

Achim Ruehlemann also noted that they are not “100 per cent sure exactly what happened”, as they are still waiting for the toxicology test results to be released.

Until the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner confirms the cause of death for Jeremy Ruehlemann, it is important to say that we do not have an official cause of death.

As it stands though, there is NO EVIDENCE Jeremy Ruehlemann died from the COVID-19 vaccine, and it seems more than likely he died from an accidental overdose of prescription medicine.

Fact #4 : Jeremy Ruehlemann Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Jeremy Ruehlemann was vaccinated against COVID-19, posting a photo of himself getting the vaccine on March 20, 2021.

Jeremy appeared to suffer no ill effects from his COVID-19 vaccination, posting “💉✔️🙌🏼”

I should point out that COVID-19 vaccines are meant to protect us against hospitalisation and death from SARS-CoV-2 virus infections, by training our own immune system to recognise the virus and create antibodies against it.

The COVID-19 vaccines cannot prevent hospitalisations or death from other causes of death. It is not an elixir of immortality.

Fact #5 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Jeremy Ruehlemann was vaccinated 22 months ago. He cannot possibly have died from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not many months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITTdevelop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #6 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

H&M Fitting Room Hidden Camera Under Investigation!

Both H&M and the police are investigating how a hidden camera was used to record videos of people in a fitting room and then sold online!

Hidden Camera Allegedly Used To Record Videos In H&M Fitting Room!

The H&M fitting room hidden camera scandal exploded on Wednesday, 11 January 2023, after a Twitter user called Nishea (@meleisgw) exposed a private group that was allegedly selling four videos showing couples inside a fitting room.

The video footage appeared to be taken from above the fitting room by a hidden camera, and the videos allegedly showed shoppers undressing and trying on clothes, as well as couples hugging and/or engaging in sexual activities.

The four videos have now leaked, and are being sold through social media and Telegram groups for about RM20 to RM30 (US$4.50 to RM6.80) for the full set. That may seem “cheap”, but it’s because so many people have them already.

If you are thinking of buying these videos, don’t. You are more than likely to get scammed. And will you report to the police that you were cheated of money while trying to buy illegally-recorded videos of people in a fitting room?

One of the victims reached out to Nishea, and confirmed that the incident happened at the H&M store in the Avenue K mall in October 2022. The victim also said that she used the furthest most stall on the left of the fitting room.

She verified her story by showing her receipt of her clothes purchase on that day, and a photo of herself wearing the same clothes. A second victim also reached out to Nishea after that.

Both H&M and the police are now investigating the case.

H&M Fitting Room Hidden Camera Under Investigation!

After the incident erupted on social media, H&M addressed the issue, stating:

In response to recent concerns about hidden cameras in H&M fitting rooms, we have conducted an inspection of the fitting rooms in all H&M stores in Malaysia and are working to ensure that there are no security breaches that will compromise the privacy of our customers, as their safety is of utmost importance to us. All findings to date have been reported to the police, and investigations are currently ongoing.

The security manager of the Avenue K mall also lodged a police report over the matter at the Dang Wangi police station.

Assistant Police Commissioner OCPD Noor Delihan Yahya said that the police searched the H&M store but did not find any camera, and believe that the footage could have been recorded in a different location.

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is now investigating the case under Section 509 of the Penal Code for intentionally insulting the modesty of any woman by word, through sound, gesture, or object.

On 11/01/2023 at approximately 0900hrs, one (1) 11-second video was uploaded by the owner of the Nishae Twitter account which shows the video recording from a hidden camera of the dressing room of a shopping center in the link https://twitter.com/meleisaw/status/1612094210810998785.

On 09/01/2023 at approximately 1638hrs, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dang Wangi police headquarters, Kuala Lumpur received a police report regarding the incident. Preliminary investigations are underway to identify the date and location of the incident. The act is an offense under Section 509 of the Penal Code.

H&M Fitting Room Hidden Camera : Past Incident In China

This isn’t the first time H&M shoppers were targeted by hidden cameras in its fitting rooms.

Back in July 2017, a shopper called Chu spotted a hidden camera while changing her clothes inside a fitting room in the H&M store in Zhongshan, the south Guangdong province in China.

The camera was linked to a white plastic box behind the curtain on the other side of the door. The police later claimed that several other fitting rooms were also suspected to be fitted with hidden cameras.

However, I should point out that hidden cameras are a risk everywhere, not just in H&M fitting rooms, or any fashion outlet for the matter. It’s a risk in public toilets and even hotel rooms.

What we should learn about this is to be more aware of what’s around us in any room that is accessible to the public, even if it has a door and a lock.

A number of fashion and celebrity blogs have also jumped onto the bandwagon, posting about these new high-fashion water bottle slippers.

Truth : Balenciaga Is NOT Selling Water Bottle Slippers For €895!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS on social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Balenciaga Water Bottle Slippers Do NOT Exist

First, let me just state that Balenciaga did not create any water bottle slippers. Those fancy and super-expensive water bottle slippers do NOT exist.

The viral photo showing that these bottle slippers can be purchased on the Balenciaga website for €895 was photoshopped.

That is indeed Justin Bieber in the photo below… but he did not model those bottle slippers either!

Fact #2 : Balenciaga Bottle Slippers Were Created By neondazer

These viral water bottle slippers were just a concept created by a Russian artist / designer called neondazer (Max Arnautov).

He posted photos of the water bottle slippers, including the edited photo of Justin Bieber wearing them, on his Instagram on August 25, 2022.

Wassup hypebeasts, cop or drop? 😂

Meta-irony and metamodernism are best friends of modern fashion, guys. I guess this concept is meta-ironic towards Balenciaga, which became meta-ironic brand itself thanks to @Demna.

Fact #3 : Justin Bieber Photo Was From Balenciaga Fall 2021 Campaign

The Justin Bieber photo that neondazer edited was taken from the Balenciaga Fall 2021 campaign, per GQ.

Taken by photographer Katy Grannan, it featured a clean-shaven Justin Bieber wearing a black leather bomber, scrunchy black sweatpants, white tube socks… and a pair of Balenciaga dad core running sneakers.

neondazer edited out the dadcore running sneakers, and replaced them with his own bottle slippers.

Fact #4 : This Is Just Another Example Of Celebrity Fake News

Fact Check : Nike Made Satan Shoes With Human Blood?

Did Nike make 666 pairs of Satan Shoes with human blood and a Satanic emblem?

Find out what’s the latest controversy, and what the FACTS really are!

Claim : Nike Made Satan Shoes With Human Blood?

Social media is rife with all sorts of claims about Lil Nas X’s controversial Satan Shoes.

While some are understandably upset about these shoes, others are making false claims about them.

Here is a great example of the kind of claims that are going viral over these Satan Shoes.

Nike made 666 pairs and named it Satan. Sold each pair for USD 1018 taken from Luke 10:18. Each has one drop of human blood and a Satanic emblem.

Nike pulls an American flag shoe because it was deemed offensive but is now releasing a Satan-inspired shoe.

Nike Satan Shoes Claims : The Facts!

Fact #1 : Satan Shoes Were Produced By MSCHF

Satan Shoes were produced by MSCHF Product Studio Inc. – a New York-based company – who created them in collaboration with “Old Town Road” rapper Lil Nas X.

Fact #2 : Satan Shoes Are Customised Nike Air Max 97 Sneakers

Satan Shoes are really customised Nike Air Max 97 sneakers. However, this does not mean Nike made them.

MSCHF bought regular Air Max 97 sneakers and customised them with what appears to be :

sole air bubble containing red link and a drop of human blood
bronze inverted pentagram lace emblem
embroidered Luke 10:18 and individual numbering on the side
embroidered MSCFH and Lil Nas X at the back
red inverted cross above Nike logo
new sock liner

Fact #3 : Does Satan Shoes Contain Human Blood?

Yes, but only a single drop in each sole, according to the Satan Shoes product description.

The clear air bubble under each sole contains 60 cc (60 ml) of red ink and one drop of human blood.

While some have suggested that Lil Nas X contributed said human blood, the blood was donated by members of MSCHF.

Fact #4 : Nike Sued MSCHF Over Satan Shoes

Probably due to the fake news circulating about their involvement with Satan Shoes, Nike sued MSCHF on 30 March 2021.

The Nike lawsuit, which was filed with the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, stated that :

the Satan Shoes were produced “without Nike’s approval and authorization“,
Nike “do not have a relationship with Lil Nas X or MSCHF“, and
“Nike is in no way connected with this project”.

Their concern about being boycotted over false claims of involvement with Satan Shoes is apparent :

“There is already evidence of significant confusion and dilution occurring in the marketplace, including calls to boycott Nike in response to the launch of MSCHF’s Satan Shoes based on the mistaken belief that Nike has authorized or approved this product.”

Nike is asking the court to immediately stop MSCHF from fulfilling the orders for those shoes, and requested a jury trial to seek damages.

Notably, Nike did not include Lil Nas X in their lawsuit.

Fact #5 : Only 666 Pairs Were Produced

It is true that 666 pairs of Satan Shoes were produced. All but one were sold, allegedly in less than one minute.

The last – 666th pair – would be made available to a social media user, chosen by Lil Nas X from those who shared his tweet.

Fact #6 : They Were Sold For US$1,018

It is true that each pair of Satan Shoes were sold for US$1,018 – a reference to Luke 10:18 in the Bible :

KJV : And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

NIV : He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lighting from heaven.”

Fact #7 : They Were Featured In Montero (Call Me By Your Name)

These shoes were featured in Lil Nas X’s latest song – Montero (Call Me By Your Name).

In the music video, he can be seen sliding down a stripper pole from Heaven to Hell, wearing a pair of these Satan Shoes.

On 3 November 2016, Fujifilm officially launched the Fujifilm X-A3 mirrorless camera, as well as their first Wonder Photo Shop here in Malaysia. As the new mirrorless camera is targeted at the selfie-obsessed younger generation, Fujifilm collaborated with Hatta Dolmat, the award-winning Malaysian fashion designer, to showcase the X-A3 camera with his latest creations in a fashion show in Sunway Pyramid.

The event kicked off with the Managing Director of Fujifilm Malaysia, Mr. Yoshitaka Nakamura, revealing details of the new Fujifilm X-A3 and Wonder Photo Shop. He also revealed the limited-edition Harajuku Kit, and Fujifilm’s brand ambassador for 2016 and 2017 – Malaysian national artistic gymnast Farah Ann Abdul Hadi.
