Matthew Perry Died Suddenly In His Hot Tub!

The Internet is just obsessed with Matthew Perry’s sudden death. Not only because so many of us have such fond memories of Chandler Bing in Friends, but also because Matthew Perry died suddenly under bizarre circumstances.

He was said to have accidentally drowned in his hot tub, while other people claim that he suffered a cardiac arrest. Anti-vaccination proponents naturally claimed that Matthew Perry died from the COVID-19 vaccine!

Matthew Perry : Latest Cause of Death Updates!

Here are the latest updates on the circumstances surrounding Matthew Perry, and his sudden death in his bathtub.

On Saturday, 28 October 2023, Matthew Perry played an hour game of pickleball at the Riviera Country Club in the morning – shorter than usual. According to Extra host, Billy Bush, his pickleball partner said that he had been feeling tired for the past week, and on the day itself.

I spoke to the woman he [Matthew Perry] played with this morning and every morning. She said he had been fatigued today and over the past week. A little more than usual. He played for one hour, then went home.

When he got home, he sent his assistant out on an errand. When his assistant returned two hours later, he discovered Matthew unresponsive, and under water in his hot tub.

His assistant called 911, at around 4 PM, which was confirmed by a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department:

West L.A. officers responded to [a residence] at 4:10 p.m. for a Death Investigation of a male in his 50s.

The assistant lifted Matthew Perry’s head from under the water, and tried to get him some air. But by the time first responders got to his Pacific Palisades home, Matthew Perry was already dead.

Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Erik Scott said:

Los Angeles City Firefighters responded [and] found an adult male unconscious in a stand-alone hot tub.

A bystander had brought the man’s head above the water and gotten him to the edge, then firefighters removed him from the water upon their arrival.

A rapid medical assessment, sadly, revealed the man was deceased prior to first responder arrival.

Sadly, it was reported that Matthew Perry wasn’t in his hot tub for very long before his apparent drowning. Law enforcement officers noted that his body was not waterlogged, when first responders arrived.

While all indications show that Matthew Perry died of drowning in his hot tub, his official cause of death is currently unknown.

There appears to be some confusion about the earlier claims of him dying from cardiac arrest, which stemmed from reports that first responders were called to the scene for a cardiac arrest.

The 15-second dispatch call has emerged, revealing that it was his assistant who reported a cardiac arrest to 911. But first responders were actually called to the scene for a drowning.

Agent 23. Rescue 23, EMS 9 [Emergency Medical Situation 9 refers to a drowning] on the radio. In response to the drowning.

It is unknown if he actually suffered a cardiac arrest. He could have fallen unconscious for any number of reasons. At this point in time – Matthew Perry’s official cause of death has not been revealed, or confirmed.

Captain Scot Williams of Los Angeles Police Department said that his Robbery-Homicide Division was investigating Matthew Perry’s sudden death, but no foul play was suspected at this time:

The Robbery-Homicide Division is handling the death investigation involving Matthew Perry and foul play is not suspected at this time.

While unnamed sources at the scene claimed that no drugs were found at the scene, the LAPD Captain Scot Williams refused to comment on what its officers recovered at the scene:

I will not comment on what was or was not recovered at the scene, as the investigation is ongoing.

Sources told TMZ that law enforcement officers did not find any illegal drugs, but they found prescription drugs, specifically anti-depressants, and anti-anxiety drugs, as well as an unnamed drug for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy was conducted on Matthew Perry (Case 2023-14789), but the determination of his official cause of death was deferred, pending toxicology results which could take weeks to obtain.

On 8 November 2023, The Blast obtained Matthew Perry’s death certificate. It too said that the official cause of death is being deferred pending toxicology reports.

However, initial toxicology reports indicate that there was no meth or fentanyl in his system when he drowned. His death certificate officially recorded his time of death as 4:17 PM.

As of 11 November 2023 – there has been NO official cause of death for Matthew Perry.

Until the LA County Medical Examiner reveals Matthew Perry’s official cause of death, please take all claims that he died from this or that cause as mere speculation.

Instead of speculating on why, or how, Matthew Perry could conceivably die in his hot tub, perhaps it’s best to remember him for the laughter he brought into our lives.

Right after news broke that Matthew Perry died suddenly in his Jacuzzi, anti-vaccine proponents immediately claimed that the beloved Friends actor died from a cardiac arrest caused by the COVID-19 vaccine!

No Evidence Matthew Perry Died Suddenly From Vaccine Cardiac Arrest!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccine activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Matthew Perry Drowned In His Hot Tub

Matthew Perry (born Matthew Langford Perry on 19 August 1969) was most famous for starring as Chandler Bing in the NBC sitcom, Friends, from 1994 to 2004. He also appeared in Ally McBeal, The West Wing, The Odd Couple, and The Good Wife.

Matthew Perry could have died suddenly from any number of reasons – a heart attack or a stroke, for example, which could hypothetically explain his drowning.

Until and unless his family, or the authorities, publicly reveal his cause of death, anyone who tells you that Matthew Perry died from this or that cause is just speculating at best.

Fact #4 : Matthew Perry’s Autopsy Report Was Deferred

An autopsy was conducted on Matthew Perry by the LA County Medical Examiner, and his body was marked as ready for release to his family.

However, the preliminary autopsy report (Case 2023-14789) stated that determination of his official cause of death was deferred, pending toxicology results which could take weeks to obtain.

Until the LA County Medical Examiner makes its final determination on his cause of death, anyone that tells you Matthew Perry died from this or that cause is just speculating at best.

Fact #5 : Matthew Perry Had Long History Of Substance Abuse

While it has been said that no drugs were found at the scene of his sudden death, Matthew Perry has a long history of substance abuse.

He started drinking at the age of 14, and later became addicted to Vicodin, Oxycontin, and Xanax. It was his Vicodin addition that led to a jet-ski accident, and his first stint in rehab in 1997 – at the height of his Friends fame.

In 2022, he told The New York Times how he spent $9 million fighting his addiction:

I would fake back injuries. I would fake migraine headaches. I had eight doctors going at the same time. I would wake up and have to get 55 Vicodin that day, and figure out how to do it.

When you’re a drug addict, it’s all math. I go to this place, and I need to take three. And then I go to this place, and I’m going to take five because I’m going to be there longer.

It’s exhausting but you have to do it or you get very, very sick. I wasn’t doing it to feel high or to feel good.

I certainly wasn’t a partier; I just wanted to sit on my couch, take five Vicodin and watch a movie. That was heaven for me. It no longer is… I’ve probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober.

According to Matthew Perry, he ended up in rehab at least 15 times, and had 14 stomach surgeries after suffering gastrointestinal perforations from his opioid abuse.

He also recounted in his 2022 memoir – Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing (US | UK | AU), that in 2018 – when he was 49 years old, and years before COVID-19 vaccines were invented – his colon burst from excessive opioid use, and he ended up in a coma for two weeks, and was hospitalised for five months.

The doctors told my family that I had a 2 percent chance to live. I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that’s called a Hail Mary. No one survives that.

To be clear – there is no evidence yet that Matthew Perry died suddenly from substance abuse. However, that is a possibility that the LA County Medical Examiner is looking into.

There is also the possibility that Matthew Perry may have suffered another stomach or intestinal perforation.

Fact #6 : Matthew Perry Was Possibly Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Matthew Perry did not publicly mention his COVID-19 vaccination status, so it is uncertain he was vaccinated against COVID-19. His family also has not mentioned his vaccination status.

The only “evidence” quoted by many people that Matthew Perry was vaccinated was his May 2021 tweet promoting a T-shirt with the words, “Could I BE Any More Vaccinated?”

Other than that single tweet, we really have no evidence that Matthew Perry was actually vaccinated against COVID-19. People claiming that was fully-vaccinated and/or boosted certainly offered no evidence to back up their claims.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated against COVID-19! After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States. Many people who died suddenly were found to be unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless his family reveals his COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who claims that Matthew Perry died from the COVID-19 vaccine is likely lying to you.

Fact #7 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Matthew Perry was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, it does not mean he died from the COVID-19 vaccine, as he would have received his doses more than two years ago!

He cannot possibly be suffering from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months or years later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITTdevelop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #5 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

So far, claims of sudden deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false in every instance. Here is the latest dozen of other false sudden death claims!

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next celebrity tragedy…

The infamous Died Suddenly account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a video which appears to show a man pulling out a parasite from the armpit of another man.

Died Suddenly appears to have posted the video to promote a “parasite cleanse guide” on a website pitching an “anti-parasitic supplement” called The Purge.

Died Suddenly Parasite Video : Why Is It Fake?!

The viral video that the Died Suddenly account posted on X (formerly Twitter) does not show a man pulling out a long parasite from the armpit of another man.

The video has a low resolution, which makes it appear as if the thing being pulled out is a tapeworm.

Now, people can and do pull out long tapeworms from mouths and anuses, but never armpits. There is simply no known mechanism by which a tapeworm would travel to anyone’s armpit!

The truth is – the video shows the removal of a wound packing strip, which is a long, slender piece of gauze which is used to pack cavity wounds.

The man likely had an abscess cavity in his armpit. After the incision and drainage of that abscess, the doctor would have packed the wound cavity to aid in its healing process.

If you look at the video again, you will notice that the man is actually smiling. In which universe (or dimension?) would a person be smiling while getting a parasite pulled out of his armpit?

Needless to say – such wound packing strips are not parasites. So one has to wonder why would the Died Suddenly account share that video to promote a “parasite cleanse guide” on a website pitching an “anti-parasitic supplement” called The Purge.

Interestingly, the website is called Purge Suddenly.

But even if you have tapeworm in your gut, don’t worry. Doctors have actual anti-parasitic drugs that can quickly kills them. There is no need to take such supplements.

People are sharing a Mayo Clinic article, or screenshots of that Mayo Clinic article, claiming that it shows the Mayo Clinic quietly admitting that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) can be used to treat COVID-19 patients!

Truth : Mayo Clinic Did Not Admit Hydroxychloroquine Can Treat COVID-19!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS about COVID-19 treatments, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Mayo Clinic Posted This Back In 2020

First, I should address the claim that the Mayo Clinic “quietly” updated its website recently to say that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) can be used to treat COVID-19 patients.

The truth is the Mayo Clinic first mentioned hydroxychloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID-19 more than 3 years ago – on 22 May 2020, to be specific.

It was not a recent development, or even a quiet change. The last time Mayo Clinic appears to have changed its hydroxychloroquine article regarding COVID-19 was in June 2020!

Just because some people did not notice the changes until three years later in September 2023, does not mean the Mayo Clinic “quietly” admitted anything.

Fact #2 : Mayo Clinic Warned About Hydroxychloroquine

The Mayo Clinic article only stated that hydroxychloroquine “may also be used” to treat COVID-19 in “certain hospitalised patients“.

Hydroxychloroquine may also be used to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) in certain hospitalized patients.

More importantly, the next paragraph actually warned people against self-medicating with hydroxychloroquine, and said that it “should only be used for COVID-19 in a hospital or during clinical trials“.

The Mayo Clinic article also explicitly pointed out that hydroxychloroquine may increase the risk of developing heart rhythm problems.

Using this medicine alone or with other medicines (eg, azithromycin) may increase your risk of heart rhythm problems (eg, QT prolongation, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia). Hydroxychloroquine should only be used for COVID-19 in a hospital or during clinical trials. Do not take any medicine that contains hydroxychloroquine unless prescribed by your doctor.

Fact #3 : Mayo Clinic Article Changed According To Evidence

The Mayo Clinic article on hydroxychloroquine actually changed twice in 2020, as new evidence presented itself during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To make it easier for you to understand, here is the timeline of the Mayo Clinic updates on hydroxychloroquine, and some significant points in the use of HCQ to treat COVID-19:

18 March 2020 : The WHO announced that chloroquine and HCQ would be tested in the multinational Solidarity clinical trial for COVID-19 treatments using existing drugs.

19 March 2020 : US President Donald Trump encouraged the use of chloroquine and HCQ during a national press conference, causing a massive increase in demand for both drugs in the US.

28 March 2020 : US FDA authorised the use of chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate to treat COVID-19, under an Emergency Use Authorisation as an experimental treatment for emergency use in hospitalised patients.

8 April 2020 : The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) began the first clinical trial to assess whether hydroxychloroquine is safe and effective to treat COVID-19.

24 April 2020 : US FDA cautioned against using chloroquine / hydroxychloroquine outside of a hospital or clinical trial, after reports of adverse events including heart problems and deaths.

Between 8-22 May 2020 : Mayo Clinic first updated its hydroxychloroquine article to say that it “may be used” to treat COVID-19 patients in “certain hospitalised patients”

5 June 2020 : Hydroxychloroquine was discontinued in the UK RECOVERY Trial when a preliminary analysis of the data showed that it provided “no beneficial effect” in patients hospitalised with COVID-19.

Between 5-13 June 2020 : Mayo Clinic updated its HCQ article to warn about the risk of heart rhythm problems while taking hydroxychloroquine. It also warned that HCQ should only be used “in a hospital or during clinical trials“.

15 June 2020 : US FDA revoked the EUA for both chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, while allowing clinical trials for both drugs to continue.

20 June 2020 : US NIH halted its clinical trial of hydroxychloroquine, after it showed that HCQ was “unlikely to be beneficial to hospitalised patients with COVID-19”.

4 July 2020 : WHO discontinued the hydroxychloroquine arm of the Solidarity Trial, after HCQ produced “little or no reduction in the mortality of hospitalised COVID-19 patients“.

24 September 2023 : Mayo Clinic article from 13 June 2020 went viral on social media after former Trump advisor, Peter Navarro, posted it on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Right after news broke that Larissa Borges died unexpectedly from two cardiac arrests, some people immediately claimed that the young Brazilian fitness influencer died suddenly from COVID-19 vaccine.

No Evidence Larissa Borges Died Suddenly From Vaccine!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to blame all celebrity deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists…

Fact #1 : Larissa Borges Died After Suffering Two Cardiac Arrests

33 year-old Larissa Borges was a Brazilian fitness influencer on Instagram. On August 20, 2023, she was admitted to the Hospital Arcanjo São Miguel, after suffering a cardiac arrest in the city of Gramado.

She remained in coma for 8 days, before passing away after she suffered a second cardiac arrest on early Monday morning, August 20, 2023. She was laid to rest on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

Fact #2 : An Autopsy Was Conducted On Larissa Borges

Even though Larissa Borges died after suffering two cardiac arrests, her official cause of death is still unknown. The Brazilian police are investigating her death, and an autopsy was conducted on her body.

According to Rio Grande do Sul Civil Police deputy Gustavo Barcellos, they are waiting for the autopsy results, which can take up to 30 days to complete, to determine her cause of death.

Until and unless the Brazilian police and/or her family reveals her cause of death, anyone who tells you that Larissa Borges died from this or that cause is likely lying to you.

The truth is – we currently do NOT know her cause of death. And there is no evidence that her cardiac arrest was caused by any vaccine.

Fact #3 : Larissa Borges Allegedly Had Drugs + Alcohol Before Cardiac Arrest

Witnesses told police that Larissa Borges was at a party in the mountain resort town of Gramado before she suffered her first cardiac arrest, where she not only had alcoholic drinks, she also took drugs.

There is a report of a possible ingestion of narcotic substances, accumulated with alcoholic beverages.

We will try to search through laboratory tests for substances that she possibly consumed.

Rio Grande do Sul Civil Police deputy Gustavo Barcellos said that the police also interviewed Larissa Borges’ boyfriend, Eduardo Moreira (who is also known as Dudu Personal) who accompanied her to the party.

The police are also reviewing videos from their phones, as well as surveillance videos from the party, to see if they can get a better understanding of what happened.

Fact #4 : Unknown If Larissa Borges Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Despite claims that Larissa Borges was fully-vaccinated, there isn’t any actual evidence that she ever received the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is possible that Larissa Borges was never vaccinated against COVID-19. After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in Brazil.

In fact, many people who were injured or died suddenly were actually unvaccinated, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Macaulay, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Until and unless her family reveals her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who tells you that Larissa Borges was vaccinated or otherwise, is likely lying to you. None of us know that.

Fact #5 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Larissa Borges was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, she would have received her doses over a year ago!

She cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Truth : Jamie Cail Did Not Die From COVID-19 Vaccine!

It’s now tradition for anti-vaccination activists to blame all athlete deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists…

Fact #1 : Jamie Cail Died Unexpectedly At Home

Jamie Cail was a former member of the US swimming team that participated in the 1997 Pan Pacific Championships, and won a gold medal in the 800m free relay event. She also won a silver medal at that 1998-1999 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Brazil.

Shortly after midnight on February 21, 2023, her boyfriend ” left a local bar” to check on Jamie Cail who was at their shared home on the island of St. John. On arrival, he found Jamie Cail was found unresponsive on the floor.

Her boyfriend and a friend took her to the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic, where doctors indicated that “she was in cardiac arrest” and performed CPR on her. However, Jamie Cail could not be revived, and passed away in the early hours.

The Virgin Islands Police Department was informed of her death-on-arrival, and an autopsy was performed to determine her cause of death.

Fact #2 : Jamie Cail’s Cause Of Death Was Fentanyl Poisoning

On August 27, 2023, the Virgin Islands Police Department announced the official cause of death for Jamie Cail, after the US Virgin Islands Office of Medical Examiner released its autopsy report on August 22.

According to the Medical Examiner’s autopsy report, Jamie Cail’s official cause of death was “fentanyl intoxication with aspiration of gastric content“.

The Virgin Islands Criminal Investigation Bureau said that the overdose was “accidental“, but did not say if it was investigating the source of the fentanyl that led to Jamie Cail’s death.

However, the United States has been hit by an epidemic of death from drug overdoses involving fentanyl. The US recorded more than 100,000 deaths from drug overdoses in 2021, most of which were caused by fentanyl.

Needless to say – the autopsy report completely debunks the claims that Jamie Cail died from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #3 : Unknown If Jamie Cail Was Vaccinated

Despite claims that Jamie Cail was fully-vaccinated, there isn’t any actual evidence that she ever received the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is possible that Jamie Cail was unvaccinated against COVID-19. After all, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States.

People are sharing a RadarOnline article which claims that Madonna was revived from death by a Narcan (naloxone) injection!

Madonna Was Revived by Narcan Injection: Terrifying New Details Reveal Queen of Pop ‘Had to Be Brought Back From The Dead’

Madonna’s brush with death was far worse than anyone knows, RadarOnline.com has exclusively been told.

When the Queen of Pop was found unresponsive on June 24, those who discovered her lifeless body were forced to administer a NARCAN injection, sources said.

NARCAN is an emergency medical treatment commonly used to reverse the life-threatening effects of a suspected overdose. But it is also used to reverse acute septic shock in patients — a condition Madonna is said to have suffered.

The injection, commonly held in medical treatment kits of the rich and famous, is considered useful to increase blood pressure in the management of septic shock, a life-threatening condition that happens when blood pressure drops to a dangerously low level.

There is nothing at all to suggest the hitmaker needed NARCAN for the ill effects of any drug use.

A spokesperson for Madonna had no comment.

No Evidence Madonna Was Revived From Death By Narcan Injection!

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, Madonna was found unconscious and unresponsive in New York City, and rushed to a hospital ICU, where she was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection.

Her condition was so severe, she had to be intubated, and her family feared they would “lose her”. That was why they kept quiet about her condition, until the worst was over.

Amazingly, she was busy recording music with Katy Perry in a studio, just hours before she collapsed at home.

After being treated in the ICU for several days, Madonna was discharged on Wednesday night, June 28, and taken to her New York City apartment to recover.

What we don’t know was the circumstances in which Madonna was found, only that she was unconscious and unresponsive. No one has yet been able to corroborate RadarOnline’s claim that Madonna was revived using a Narcan injection. Heck, we don’t even know if Madonna was revived at her home as claimed, or at the hospital.

What we do know is Narcan / naloxone is used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, not treat acute septic shock.

It is also unlikely for first responders to think of acute septic shock when they see an unconscious and unresponsive person. Chances are – whoever injected Madonna with naloxone probably did so out of the assumption that she may have overdosed on opioids – a common problem in the United States.

Even if Madonna was injected with Narcan, it is unlikely to have revived her from the dead as claimed. That is only possible if she suffered from an opioid overdose. There is no evidence Madonna overdosed from opioids, but we know that she was hospitalised for a serious bacterial infection.

To be clear, the FDA allows Narcan to be administered for septic shock as an “adjunctive use” (PDF download), but warns that it should be used “with caution”:

NARCAN is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of opioid depression, including respiratory depression, induced by natural and synthetic opioids, including propoxyphene, methadone and certain mixed agonist-antagonist analgesics: nalbuphine, pentazocine, butorphanol, and cyclazocine. NARCAN is also indicated for diagnosis of suspected or known acute opioid overdosage. NARCAN may be useful as an adjunctive agent to increase blood pressure in the management of septic shock

Pfizer, one of the many naloxone manufacturers, states that while naloxone has been shown to produce a rise in blood pressure in some cases of septic shock, it has also been associated with adverse effects like nausea, vomiting, hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias and seizures.

Adjunctive Use in Septic Shock

Naloxone has been shown in some cases of septic shock to produce a rise in blood pressure that may last up to several hours; however this pressor response has not been demonstrated to improve patient survival. In some studies, treatment with naloxone in the setting of septic shock has been associated with adverse effects, including agitation, nausea and vomiting, pulmonary edema, hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias, and seizures. The decision to use naloxone in septic shock should be exercised with caution, particularly in patients who may have underlying pain or have previously received opioid therapy and may have developed opioid tolerance.

Therefore, it would not have been likely for trained first responders to administer Narcan to Madonna if they suspected she had septic shock. They would have quickly stabilised her, and rushed her to the hospital.

That scenario certainly remains a possibility – we still do NOT have any confirmation that anyone actually injected Madonna with naloxone!

At the end of the day, the RadarOnline article is nothing more than celebrity rumour grist to generate some controversy for the page views. Despite insinuations by various blogs and media covering the same story, there is no evidence Madonna collapsed from an opioid overdose, or a COVID-19 vaccine injury.

Nothing has changed with the original story – Madonna suffered from a bad bacterial infection, and had to be hospitalised in the ICU for several days.

Sad to hear about Lisa Marie Presley. It seems like every day I see another story of an athlete or a big-name person having cardiac arrest. But whatever you do, you can’t talk about the vaccine, right?

Truth : Lisa Marie Presley Did Not Die From Vaccine Cardiac Arrest!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Lisa Marie Presley Complained Of Stomach Pains

Lisa Marie Presley (born February 1, 1968) was an American singer-songwriter, who was the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. She was once married to musician Danny Keough, singer Michael Jackson, actor Nicholas Cage, and music producer Michael Lockwood.

Lisa Marie Presley complained of stomach pains that got more and more intense on early Thursday morning, January 12, 2023.

Later that morning, Lisa Marie was found lying unresponsive in her bedroom by her housekeeper. Her ex-husband, Danny Keough (who lives with Lisa Marie) arrived home after taking their kids to school, and administered CPR until paramedics arrived.

When they arrived, the paramedics gave her at least one epinephrine shot, and managed to restore her pulse before rushing her to a nearby hospital. Her 77 year-old mother, Priscilla Presley confirmed her death on Thursday night:

It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.

Fact #2 : Lisa Marie Presley Died Of Small Bowel Obstruction

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy of Lisa Marie Presley, with the case number of 2023-00513.

Its autopsy report confirmed on Thursday, 13 July 2023 that Lisa Marie Presley died from the “sequelae of small bowel obstruction“. Her death was ruled as “natural“.

The bowel obstruction that led to Lisa Marie Presley’s death appeared to be caused by adhesions that developed after she underwent bariatric surgery (stomach stapling) many years ago.

Her toxicology results also show that she had “therapeutic” levels of Oxycodone in her blood, as well as a second opioid – Buprenorphine, which is used to treat opioid dependence. These opioids may have played a role in her death, as they can cause bowel dysfunction.

There were also traces of Qeutiapine – an antipsychotic drug, in her blood.

To be clear – COVID-19 vaccines cannot cause small bowel obstruction.

Fact #3 : Lisa Marie Presley Had History Of Drug + Alcohol Abuse

The presence of opioids in her system isn’t surprising. The autopsy report confirmed that Lisa Marie Presley underwent a cosmetic procedure a few months before her death, and was prescribed opioids.

But she also has a history of “overmedicating” – forgetting that she took her medication, and taking them again. On top of that, the report also states that, Lisa Marie Presley had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.

She started abusing drugs and alcohol when she was just 13, until her mother checked her into a Scientology rehab center at 17 years old. She then became addicted to opioids in 2008, and was heavily using cocaine by 2013, checking into rehab at least five times.

I did everything but mushrooms and heroin or crack. Cocaine, sedatives, pot, and drinking — all at the same time… I don’t know how I lived through it.

Her son, Benjamin Keough, also had addiction problems, and died by suicide on 12 July 2020, when he was just 27 years old.

Fact #4 : Lisa Marie Presley Was Suspected To Have Heart Disease

While many anti-vaccination activists claimed that Lisa Marie-Presley died from a vaccine-induced cardiac arrest, other people pointed out that she would more likely have died from a heart attack. After all, Lisa Marie Presley had a strong family history of heart disease.

Her father – the great Elvis Presley, prominently died at just 42 years of age, after being found unconscious on the bathroom floor of his Graceland mansion. While his cause of death has always been in dispute, Elvis had an enlarged heart for a long time, with a strong family history of heart failure. Even though it is likely that his long drug use had a part to play, his autopsy confirmed that his heart was enlarged and thickened.

In 2014, his DNA sample was tested by Professor Stefan Shuester and Dr. Stephen Kingsmore, who found that Elvis Presley had a major mutation on Chromosome 11 that is known to cause hypertrophic cardiomyopathy – the thickening of the heart muscle, which can lead to heart failure and/or sudden cardiac death.

I should also point out that her grandmother, Gladys Presley, died of a heart attack at just 46 years of age. Her grandfather, Vernon Presley, also died of a heart attack – two years after Elvis passed away.

As Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley not only inherited his wealth, she also inherited his family history of heart disease, including possibly that genetic mutation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Of course, we now know that Lisa Marie Presley died from the consequences of a small bowel obstruction, and not from any heart disease.

Fact #5 : Unknown If Lisa Marie Presley Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

It is currently unknown if Lisa Marie Presley was vaccinated against COVID-19, as she has never publicly mentioned her vaccination status.

For all we know – she may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

Until and unless her family reveals her COVID-19 vaccination status, anyone who claims that Lisa Marie Presley received the COVID-19 vaccine is likely lying to you.

Truth : Pfizer Was Not Fined $2.3 Billion For Vaccine Fraud!

This appears to be yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media platforms like TikTok and Twitter, and here are the reasons why!

Fact #1 : Pfizer Fraud Settlement Occurred In 2009

First, let me just point out that Pfizer did indeed agree to pay $2.3 billion – the largest healthcare fraud settlement in the history of the US Department of Justice.

However, that did not happen recently. The historic fraud settlement (official announcement) happened on September 2, 2009 – more than 13.5 years ago! Needless to say – this occurred long before the COVID-19 vaccines were invented.

Thomas Perrelli, who appeared in the viral video, stepped down as associate attorney general in 2012 – more than 11 years ago.

Fact #2 : Pfizer Fraud Settlement Had Nothing To Do With Vaccines

The 2009 Pfizer fraud settlement not only had nothing to do with COVID-19 vaccines (which were invented 11 years later!), it also had nothing to do with any kind of vaccine!

In that case, Pfizer pleaded guilty to illegally promoting four drugs :

Bextra : an anti-inflammatory drug
Geodon : an anti-psychotic drug
Zyvox : an antibiotic, and
Lyrica : an anti-epileptic drug

Fact #3 : Pfizer Then Was Under Jeff Kindler

At the time of the 2009 fraud case, Pfizer was under the leadership of Jeff Kindler, who was elected as Chief Executive Officer on July 28, 2006, and also as Chairman later that year. Jeff Kindler retired in December 2010.

The current Pfizer CEO is Albert Bourla, who ascended to the post on January 1, 2019 – more than 9 years after the historic fraud case, and Jeff Kindler’s retirement. Regardless of what Pfizer may have done in 2009, the current CEO is two administrations past that.

Fact #4 : Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Was Created By BioNTech

The COMIRNATY COVID-19 vaccine was not developed by Pfizer, but by the German biotechnology company, BioNTech.

As it is a small company, BioNTech partnered with Pfizer to carry out clinical trials, logistics and manufacturing of its mRNA COVID-19, then known by its development name, BNT162b2.

To be clear – BioNTech is not a Pfizer subsidiary, or beholden to Pfizer. It became a public-listed company on the NASDAQ on 10 October 2019 – just before the COVID-19 pandemic started.

Fact #5 : Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Has Been Proven Safe + Effective

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine underwent a large clinical trial, and was proven safe and effective before it received it received its Emergency Use Authorisation. Then, after months of post-marketing safety monitoring, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine received its full FDA approval on August 23, 2021.

Several billion doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have already been administered worldwide. In the United States alone, about 367 million doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have been administer up to April 26, 2023.

In the past 2.5 years, health authorities worldwide have monitored the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for safety issues, and identified rare side effects like anaphylaxis and myocarditis. But otherwise, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine continues to be regarded as safe and effective.

Fact #6 : This Is Just Anti-Vaccine Fake News

People are sharing a post and photo on WhatsApp and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, claiming that the P-500 or P / 500 or Aeknil paracetamol tablets contain the dangerous Machupo virus!

URGENT WARNING!

Be careful not to take the paracetamol that comes written P / 500. It is a new, very white and shiny paracetamol, doctors advise that it contains “Machupo” virus, considered one of the most dangerous viruses in the world, with a high mortality rate. Please share this message, with all people on your contact list as well as family, and save a life or lives ….I’ve done my part, now it’s your turn … remember that God helps those who help others & themselves!

Truth : Paracetamol Tablets Do Not Contain Machupo Virus

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created to scare people about the safety of medications, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Paracetamol = Acetaminophen

First, let me just point out that paracetamol is known as acetaminophen in the United States, Canada, Japan, Venezuela and Columbia.

You may better know them by their trade names – Panadol is the GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) trade name for paracetamol, while Tylenol is the trade name owned by McNeil, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, for the same drug – acetaminophen.

Many people now call all forms of paracetamol / acetaminophen “Panadol” or “Tylenol”, whether it comes from GSK or McNeil or another company. In other words :

Paracetamol = Panadol = Tylenol = Acetaminophen

Fact #2 : Paracetamol / Acetaminophen Do Not Contain Machupo Virus

To be clear – paracetamol or acetaminophen tablets do not contain the Machupo virus.

This was confirmed by many health authorities like the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) [pdf download]:

Like many other viruses, this virus cannot live in a dry environment like paracetamol tablets.

The Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) also confirmed that this is fake news:

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) would like to inform members of the public that an “alert” that is circulating on social media regarding the transmission of “Machupo” virus through paracetamol tablets is a hoax. Its content is untrue.

HSA assures the public that the content of the hoax “alert” is inaccurate and is not a cause for concern. Anyone who receives the hoax “alert” should not forward it to others as the information is untrue.

Fact #3 : Machupo Virus Only Documented In South America

The Machupo virus is the informal name for Machupo mammarenavirus, an RNA virus of the Arenaviridae family that causes Bolivian haemorrhagic fever (BHF) – also known as black typhus or Ordog Fever.

First identified in 1963, the Machupo virus is deadly with a mortality rate of between 5% to 30%, with an average case-fatality rate of 22%.

However, the Machupo virus has only been documented in South America, mostly in Bolivia, where it is endemic in the regions of Mamoré and Iténez.

Fact #4 : Machupo Virus Is Transmitted By Infected Rodents

The Machupo virus is transmitted through infected rodents, specifically the large vesper mouse (Calomys callosus) that is indigenous to northern Bolivia. That’s why its spread is limited mainly to Bolivia.

In addition, the virus spreads through the saliva, faeces, and urine of infected rodents. Therefore, it is unlikely to spread through sealed packages of any medication, unless the contents were contaminated during production or packaging.

Fact #5 : This Is Old Fake News

Finally, this fake news isn’t even new. It was been circulating since mid-2017. It just keeps resurrecting and going “viral” every few years on WhatsApp and social media platforms.

Claim : Panadol / Tylenol Stays In Our Body For 5 Years!

This viral message has been circulating for more than a decade now, but always gets revived every year or so.

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patients and he knows some of the doctors quite well.

The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL / PARACETAMOL.

In fact, they will turn Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives. This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor: Panadol will remain in the body for at least 5 years…..!!

And according to the doctor, there was an air-hostess who consumed lots of Panadol as she needed to stand all the time and work under lots of pressure. She’s now in her early 30’s, and she is undergoing kidney cleaning (DIALYSIS) every month.

Whenever we have a headache, that’s because it is due to the electron / Ion imbalance in the brain.

Some alternative solution to cope with this matter is

Drink lots of water.

Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it brings the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.

As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will fall ill as we age.

Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (Pain Killer), when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much more amount of general anaesthesia.

The thought is scary enough to turn me to Herbal Medicine or other healthier al ternative. Value your health, value your life, THINK TWICE before you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again.

Menurutnya lagi, pernah berlaku seorang pramugari menelan terlalu banyak Panadol semasa kedatangan haid kerana tugasnya perlu berdiri sepanjang masa penerbangan. Dia kini baru berumur 30-an tetapi sudah perlu menjalani rawatan buah pinggang (dialisis) setiap bulan.

Seperti kata doktor tersebut, sakit kepala disebabkan ketidak-seimbangan elektron/ion di dalam sel otak .
Sebagai rawatan alternatif, beliau mencadangkan membeli sebotol atau 2 botol minuman isotonik, campurkan dengan air minuman pada kadar 1:1 atau 1:2. Mudahnya, secawan isotonik dengan 2 cawan air minuman.

Saya dan suami pernah mencuba kaedah ini dan mendapati ia berkesan. Kaedah lain ialah merendam kaki ke dalam besin yang mengandungi air suam. Ia akan memberi tekanan darah menurun dari kepala anda.

Panadol adalah sejenis “pain killer”, semakin banyak anda mengambilnya, semakin lama semakin kurang kesannya kepada anda. Bererti anda perlukan dos yang lebih lagi apabila ia kurang berkesan

Kita semua akan jatuh sakit apabila usia kita semakin meningkat. Untuk wanita, mereka akan melalui pengalaman melahirkan zuriat. Bayangkan mereka akan diberi dos yang kuat apabila terpaksa melalui proses beranak melalui pembedahan

Jika anda terlalu banyak mengambil Panadol atau Paracetamol sepanjang hidup anda, seperti mereka yang ada migrain, ia akan memberi kesan sifar terhadap kesakitan yang anda alami dan anda memerlukan ubat yang lebih kuat lagi untuk mengurangkan rasa sakit. Adakah anda sanggup diberi dadah yang kuat seperti morfin?

Hargailah kehidupan anda. Fikir sebelum mudah memasukkan ubat yang “biasa” ini ke dalam mulut anda.

Truth : Panadol / Tylenol Does NOT Stay In Our Body For 5 Years!

This is yet another example of medical fake news that people keep sharing on Facebook, WhatsApp, and emails.

Let me tell you what the facts really are…

Fact #1 : They Are Paracetamol / Acetaminophen

Panadol is a GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) trade name for paracetamol, which is also known as acetaminophen in the United States, Canada, Japan, Venezuela and Columbia.

Tylenol is the trade name owned by McNeil, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, for the same drug – paracetamol or acetaminophen.

Due to its longevity and popularity since it was introduced in 1955, the names Panadol and Tylenol have been genericised.

Many people now call all forms of paracetamol / acetaminophen “Panadol” or “Tylenol”, whether it comes from GSK or McNeil or another company. In other words :

Paracetamol = Panadol = Tylenol = Acetaminophen

Fact #2 : They Have A Short Half-Life

Both Panadol and Tylenol have a short half-life of about 2 hours. That’s why we take them up to 4 times a day.

If paracetamol or acetaminophen can stay in our body for 5 years, heck, we would only need take one tablet and it would last for the next few years!

Fact #3 : They Don’t Reduce Your Pain Threshold

Paracetamol or acetaminophen do not reduce your pain threshold. In fact, it INCREASES our pain threshold by reducing nerve-sensitising prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord.

However, this increase in pain threshold is only temporary, and wears off in a few hours. See Fact #2.

Fact #4 : Doctors Practice Evidence-Based Medicine

The funniest part of the hoax is the claim that doctors refuse to take paracetamol for headaches, and prefer herbal medicine instead. It’s such an unbelievably bold LIE.

Doctors practice evidence-based medicine, and paracetamol / acetaminophen are part of their toolkit – drugs that have been proven to work, at specific dosages for specific purposes.

No doctor worth his/her salt is going to advocate herbal medicine with uncertain effects and properties, over the known effects and properties of paracetamol / acetaminophen.

Fact #5 : They Can Be Toxic, Like Any Other Substance

Paracetamol / acetaminophen (like any other substances) can be toxic when taken in excessive amounts. Even water can be toxic, for the matter.

Overdosing on paracetamol can damage the liver. Excessive amounts of its metabolite, NAPQI, will deplete the liver’s glutathione and damage its cells.

How much do you need to consume to overdose on paracetamol? Usually taking 10 grams at one go – that’s 20 tablets of standard 500 mg paracetamol, or 6 grams or 12 tablets a day.

Alcohol consumption increases the risks of liver damage, so the maximum dose should be cut in half for those who consume alcohol.

Excessive, prolonged use of paracetamol can also cause SICK (small, indented and calcified kidneys). How much is excessive? That’s 300 grams a year – 600 tablets a year, or 50 tablets a month.

Now, how many of us actually consume enough paracetamol to run the risk of liver or kidney damage? Everyone knows the recommended limit is 2 x 500 mg tablets every 6 hours, which is 4 grams per day. Usually, we all make do with just 2 to 4 tablets a day.

The fake news creator is right that we should think twice before popping a pill into our mouths, but we should also think TWICE and VERIFY before forwarding such messages.
