The Complete 2018 Dell Commercial PC Portfolio Revealed!

Dell just announced the entire 2018 Dell commercial PC portfolio – veritable smorgasbord of commercial PC solutions designed to cater to businesses of all sizes. Let’s take a look at what Dell just launched!

 

2018 Dell Precision Workstations

Dell Precision workstations are the world’s preferred workstations. In fact, five of the last seven Academy Award-winning movies (for visual effects) used Dell Precision workstations to render their special effects. Believe it – the amazing special effects in Bladerunner 2049 were rendered on Precision workstations!

So what’s new with the Dell Precision family (Price Check | Contact Dell)?

  • The Dell Precision 7730 and 7530 mobile workstations now boast the latest 8th Gen Intel Core and Xeon processors, AMD Radeon WX and NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics, and up to 128 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 memory!
  • The Dell Precision 7530 is the industry’s first 15-inch “Ready for VR” mobile workstation, and comes with up to 6 TB of PCIe SSD storage!
  • The Dell Precision 5530 2-in-1 is the world’s smallest 15″ 2-in-1 mobile workstation, and has an InfinityEdge 4K Ultra HD display. It also supports the Dell Premium Pen, and comes with a new MagLev Keyboard, as well as GORE thermal insulation.
  • The Dell Precision 5530 is the world’s smallest 15″ mobile workstation, and has an InfinityEdge 4K Ultra HD display. It can be equipped with NVIDIA Quadro P2000 professional graphics, up to 32 GB of 2666 MHz memory, and 4 TB of SSD storage.
  • The Dell Precision 3530 mobile workstation now comes with the 8th Gen Intel Core or Xeon processors, DDR4-2666 memory and NVIDIA Quadro P600 professional graphics.

 

2018 Dell Latitude Laptops

The Dell Latitude 5491 and 5591 are now powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processors, up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 memory, NVIDIA graphics, optional Thunderbolt 3, with up to 19 hours of battery life.

As the world’s most secure and manageable commercial laptops, these Dell Latitude models offer the option to add a FIPS 201 Smart Card Reader and a contactless smart card reader with Control Vault 2 FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certifications. They also include Intel Authenticate, as well as the choice to use Microsoft AutoPilot for Windows 10 users.

 

2018 Dell OptiPlex PCs

Dell is introducing a new family of OptiPlex All-in-Ones (AIO) (Price Check) that are powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processors, up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and optional Intel Optane memory.

  • The Dell OptiPlex 7760 AIO has a 27″ InfinityEdge display with the option of a 4K Ultra HD panel or Full HD IPS with touch display.[adrotate group=”2″]
  • The Dell OptiPlex 7460 AIO offers a 23.8″ InfinitiEdge display with a Full HD IPS panels.
  • The Dell OptiPlex 5260 AIO offers a 21.5″ display, with an optional 10-point multi-touch display.
  • The Dell OptiPlex XE3, available in Tower and Small Form Factor, is an industrial-grade desktop that is shock and vibration-resistant, with optional dust filters.
  • The Dell OptiPlex 7060 and 5060 Tower, SFF and Micro desktops
  • The Dell OptiPlex 3060 Tower, SFF and Micro desktops are compact systems that offer up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, and versatile mounting options.

 

2018 Dell P-Series Monitors

Dell also unveiled new P-Series monitors, with a thin panel profile, smaller base, USB-C option, ands improved cable management. Users can boost productivity further with Dell MDS19 Dual Monitor Stand that perfectly fits two monitors (up to 27″) in a small footprint.

Four months after it was first unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017, Dell has finally launched the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop.

Powered by the latest 7th Generation Intel Core processors, this is the world’s smallest 13″ 2-in-1 laptop. It also boasts an UltraSharp QHD+ InfinityEdge display. Check it out!

 

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) Laptop

Introducing the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop, and its key features, was Christopher Choong, Field Marketing Manager, Client Solutions Group, Dell Malaysia.

We had some time to try out the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop. Here is our hands-on preview!

Here are some of its key features :

Incredibly Mobile

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop is the world’s smallest 13″ laptop. Thanks to its fan-less design, and use of a Type C USB port for power, it has an incredibly slim (8-13.7 mm) form factor. The hinge rotates 360°, allowing you to use it in four different modes – tablet, tent, laptop and stand.

Tough & Reliable

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop is built with laser-cut aluminium and carbon fiber, with Gorilla Glass 4 protection for the display. Its steel hinges have been tested to last at least 20,000 rotations. It is also backed by the legendary Dell Premium Support with Accidental Damage.

Amazing Display

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) laptop comes with an UltraSharp touch display with a QHD+ resolution of 3200 x 1800, a pixel density of 276 ppi, and a wide 170° viewing angle. Dell calls it InfinityEdge, because of its extremely thin bezel. It has a maximum brightness of 400 nots, and a colour gamut of 72%, with a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
