People are sharing an article (archive) by The People’s Voice (formerly NewsPunch), which claims that E. Jean Carroll admitted on CNN that she lied about being raped in order to “help Biden destroy Trump”!

Truth : E. Jean Carroll Did Not Admit Lying To Help Biden Destroy Trump!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : E. Jean Carroll Did Not Admit Lying To Help Biden Destroy Trump!

This is really silly, but let me start by pointing out that E. Jean Carroll did not ever say that she was “100% lying” about being raped to help President Biden destroy Donald Trump, as alleged in The People’s Voice article.

If she really said that on CNN, it would have been major news covered by other news outlets in the United States, especially conservative news outlets like Fox News and OANN. It would also have gone viral on social media, with conservative and right-wing personalities criticising her for lying in a court of law.

However, there is no evidence E. Jean Carroll ever made such a confession, and The People’s Voice offered no evidence to back up its “fact checked” claim.

Fact #2 : E. Jean Carroll Won Two Defamation Lawsuits Against Trump

E. Jean Carroll (born Elizabeth Jean Carroll on 12 December 1943) has always said that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in late 1995 or early 1996 in the Bergdorf Goodman store in New York City.

She confided in two friends, Lisa Bimbach and Carol Martin, shortly after the assault. She would later sue Donald Trump twice for defamation, winning twice. That would not be possible if E. Jean Carroll admitted lying about being raped or sexually assaulted by Donald Trump.
