This is a 30 year old Television clip. This video is interesting not only because of the dance sequence, but because, this young boy is the current president of France, & the Lady dancer, his teacher …. is his current wife …Interesting!!! Isn’t it? 🤷🤷♀ 🤷🤷♀ 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Truth : That Was Not President Macron With His Dancing Teacher / Wife!
This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : Brigitte Did Not Teach Macron Dancing
Brigitte Auzière (born Brigitte Marie-Claude Trogneux on 13 April 1953) first met Emmanuel Macron at the La Providence High School in 1998, when she was a 40 year-old teacher, and he was a 15 year-old student and a classmate of her daughter, Laurence.
She was not his dancing teacher, but taught him literature and was in charge of the theatre class that he attended. Brigitte divorced her husband, André-Louis Auzière, in January 2006 and married Macron in October 2007.
Fact #2 : Brigitte + Emmanuel Macron Never Participated In Dance Contests
As far as I can tell – Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron never participated in any dancing contest.
So it would be quite impossible for them to appear in a dance competition 30 years ago.
Fact #3 : Viral Video Was Recorded In 2016
The viral video, which people claimed was Emmanuel Macron dancing with his teacher Brigitte, was not recorded 30 years ago.
It was posted on the SYTYCD (So You Think You Can Dance) YouTube channel on 6 September 2017, but featured on another YouTube channel on 13 July 2016.
Fact #4 : Music Was From 2014
You can also date the video using the music. It was certainly not 30 years old, but a much more recent – Toca Toca (Radio Edit) by Fly Project was published on YouTube on 14 May 2014.
Fact #5 : Viral Video Is Of Jenna Johnson + Jake Monreal
The viral video does not show Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron dancing in a competition.
The two dancers are Jenna Johnson and Jake Monreal, who were competing in “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation” on July 11, 2016.
The YouTube video had the title “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation – Jenna and Jake’s Ballroom Performance“.
In that video, Jenna and Jake performed a Cha Cha routine which was choreographed by Jean Marc Genereux, to “Toca Toca (Radio Edit)“.
Fact #6 : Jenna Johnson Is A Professional Dancer
Jenna Johnson (born April 12, 1994) is an American professional dance and choreographer, who was one of the mentors in that dance competition.
She competed with Jake Monreal in 2016, and made it to the Top 8 before elimination on August 1, 2016. She returned to the show in Season 14 to mentor Kiki Nyemchek, and made it to Top 4.
Fact #7 : Jake Monreal Is A Professional Dancer
Jake Monreal (born September 24, 2003) is now a 19 year-old professional dancer, who began dancing at the age of 10. At that time the video was recorded, he was just 12 years old.
Jake would become a professional dancer for Dancing with the Stars Junior in 2018.

HUAWEI Malaysia discovered a number of fake giveaway contests on Facebook, with phrases like Giveaway 2020, Win HUAWEI P30 Pro Mobile and Chinese New Year 2020.
These scammers are masquerading as HUAWEI Malaysia, to fool people into clicking into their links, and participating in their scam.
HUAWEI Malaysia is trying to warn people that they are not involved in these fake Facebook contests, and that people should avoid such scams.
You should not participate in these scams, and definitely not give them your personal information.
If in doubt, you can contact HUAWEI Malaysia at 1-800-220-086 to verify the authenticity of any HUAWEI-related giveaway contests, events or promotions.

Low Light Photo Example #2
As I was on vacation in Bali, I stayed in Club Med which has Balinese architecture paired with natural elements like trees, lakes and grasslands.
This is actually a signature spot in the resort as all guests will have to walk past this stretch of rooms to reach their own.
One night, as I was walking back to the room after dinner, I realised that the night was exceptionally dark.
I knew that it was the perfect time to take a photo using the main 40MP sensor on the HUAWEI P30 Pro as it is using a new RYYB sensor, it can actually capture 40% more light than usual.
With the help of f1.6 aperture lens, I was confident that it will turn out amazing.
Well, I was right. This photo was taken with just a tap of the shutter button. No night mode or tripod needed. It’s simply mind blowing.
For the elements in the photo, I intentionally aligned the separation of real building and reflection to be 50% on top and 50% bottom to clearly show the difference and to fully expose the reflection on the lake’s surface.

Club Med Bali has a beautiful pool deck with vibrant red umbrellas that captures the attention of all guests.
As I was having breakfast in the morning at around 9am, I noticed that the shadow casting on the ground looks very interesting and I knew it would make a great ultra-wide angle shot.
Since it was early, the area wasn’t filled with people yet. So, I quickly decided to use the HUAWEI P30 Pro to capture this scene using the ultra-wide angle lens.
This was the only shot I took as it looked great instantly. The sky was not over exposed, allowing clouds to appear clearly while the shadow areas are balanced nicely with details still intact.
I took this from the first floor of the building, hence I could cover more areas further back into the scene.
The ultra-wide angle lens also has a very short focus distance, letting you get in as close as 2.5 cm for macro photography!
Adjust the zoom to 0.6X to enter the Ultra-Wide Angle Mode. When you get real close to the subject, the camera will automatically enter the Super Macro Mode. Easy peasy!
Super Macro Photo Example #1
These are the wings of Malaysia’s national butterfly, the Rajah Brooke’s birdwing butterfly. It is also the largest species in Malaysia.
Butterflies have some of the most stunning colours, lines and textures that are usually unseen by the human eye.
The super macro mode on the HUAWEI P30 Pro managed to help capture such details, where you can notice thousands of tiny scales responsible for the magnificent colour characteristics of butterflies.
It’ll be good to note that this was captured handheld without any assisting accessories!

Portrait Photography
The HUAWEI P30 Pro has a Time of Flight (TOF) camera that is used for portrait photography. It sends out pulses of near infra-red light to accurately map the subject and separate it from the background. This allows for a more accurate and natural bokeh effect.
Just select the Portrait mode, and make sure your subject is less than 2 metres away, for the ToF camera to work properly.

Shadowed areas are well enhanced on the portrait mode using the HUAWEI P30 Pro thanks to the AI mode which helps me capture great portrait shots when it detects a face.
I’m shocked that even under harsh sunlight, I can still capture the Pakcik’s face clearly even from a low angle shot.

This shot was taken earlier this month during Street Meet Johor, a photography event that gathers photographers and models that I organised.
I saw this event as an opportunity for me to test out the new HUAWEI P30 Pro to take some portrait shots and I wasn’t disappointed.
The trick for me is to ensure your portraits look as natural as it can be, you can adjust the Beauty Effect to lowest level possible to reduce the glowy effect.
Also, natural lighting is always the best choice.

The HUAWEI P30 and P30 Pro camera features the AI HDR+ technology, which uses AI algorithms to identify elements in the frame, like faces, buildings and the sun, to create an exposure map and intelligently apply it to minimise blown highlights while brightening shadows.

What Is The Imagine Cup?
Held and sponsored by Microsoft since 2003, the Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition. Teams of students from across the globe work together with mentors and industry leaders to bring their biggest and boldest ideas to life.
The 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Finals
This year, Microsoft organised the 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Finals in Sydney, Australia. Hundreds of teams from 17 Asian countries submitted their projects, but just twelve great teams won a shot to participate in the Asia Regional Finals!
These twelve teams will compete for US$20,000 in prizes on 12 February, but only one team will win the ultimate prize – an all-expenses paid trip to the World Finals in Seattle!
There, the 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Champion will participate along the best and brightest teams from across the globe to claim the title of World Champion, US$100,000 cash prize, and the chance to take home the Imagine Cup!

The four 2019 Imagine Cup Asia judges will review each team’s project pitch and ultimately decide who will move forward to the 2019 World Championship this May for a chance to win USD100,000 plus a mentoring session with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Tech ARP Is 20 Years Old & Going Strong!
Time sure FLIES when you are having fun! Twenty years ago, Ken, Chai and I got together to rebrand Adrian’s Rojak Pot as Tech ARP. We were having trouble explaining what rojak was, and that pot did not refer to marijuana / cannabis! 😂😂😂
That was in the good old days of sawing off pipe end caps to turn into CPU water coolers, and modifying SLAB (sealed lead acid batteries) into the world’s first power bank for our PDAs (remember those?).
Those sure were CRAZY DAYS! 😂😂😂
Somehow, we worked our way to the forefront of motherboard technology with our seminal BIOS Optimization Guide, which later got published as Breaking Through The BIOS Barrier : The Definitive BIOS Optimization Guide for PCs.
I don’t know how I did it, but somehow, we did all those crazy stuff while I was still in medical school! CRAZY days indeed!
Over the years, we moved from strength to strength, with Ken hand-developing our own backend, and Chai nurturing our budding forums.
Somehow, we persevered and by the miracle of surviving the passage of time, Tech ARP is Malaysia’s oldest tech website!
Today, we are still pretty much the same team, with Falcone, Dashken, Carolyn, Hui Xin, Alyssa, Kar Hoe and Brian Chong helping us out here and there. Thank you, guys!

Upgrade To A Maxis 4G SIM Card & Win RM 1 Million!
Beginning 25 April, customers who successfully complete their SIM swap will be automatically eligible to participate in the RM1 million giveaway campaign.
There will be three rounds throughout the campaign. Customers will be eligible to participate in all three rounds, as long as they haven’t won. So, the earlier customers participate, the more opportunity they have to win.

The Korean EDM Festival Contest Terms & Conditions
Samsung EDM Madness Flyaway (“Contest”) is organised by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn. Bhd. (“Samsung”) and is open to contestants who are:
Residents of Malaysia and aged 21 years and above as stated on their NRIC/Passport (as of 17 April 2017)
And use Samsung Milk Music via eligible contestant’s Samsung Galaxy smartphone device.
For the avoidance of doubt, if a Contestant uses Samsung Milk Music on more than one Galaxy smartphone device, then the total hour of listening time (as defined below) on each Galaxy smartphone device will be combined.
Employees, agents or officers of Samsung and Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia (“The Organizer”) or of any entity involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of the Contest, including any advertising or promotion agency, supplier of prizes for the Contest, parent company, service provider, subsidiary or affiliate of Samsung and the Organizer or any other entity directly associated with the Contest or any member of the immediate family of and/or person living in the same household as such persons mentioned above, are ineligible to enter the Contest.
By participating in this Contest, each contestant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. There shall be THREE (3) Grand Prize winners. Winners will be ranked in accordance with the total longest listening time of Station during the Contest Period.
The Contest period (“Contest Period”) will commence on 14 April 2017, 12:00am (“Contest Start Date”) and close on 7 May 2017, 23:59pm, Malaysia Time (“Contest End Date”). For the avoidance of doubt, listening time of Station will qualify for the Contest if they are played between:
Contest Start Date or the date of Enrollment (whichever is occurs later); and
Contest End Date.
Each Grand Prize winner shall receive:
Round trip airline tickets (economy coach class) for two (2) pax from KLIA/KLIA 2 to Korea’s Incheon International airport (For the avoidance of doubts, the sponsor & the Organizer will not be responsible to cover any travel expenses to and back from KLIA/KLIA 2.)
Three (3) nights’ hotel accommodation (standard, one room, twin sharing occupancy) for two (2) pax at a hotel chosen at the sole discretion of Samsung and the Organizer.
Ground transportation to and from the said Korea’s Incheon International airport; and to and from the selected hotel to concert venue of the EDM festival for two (2) pax.
Two (2) General Admission of festival passes to the EDM festival in Korea that take place on 10 June 2017 and 11 June 2017.In the event that more than one contestant has the same total longest-listening time of Station, then the winner shall be the contestant who was first to start playing the Station.
Three (3) Grand prize winners will be contacted by the Organizer between 16 May 2017 and 20 May 2017 through email or phone call. The Organizer will make three (3) attempts to notify the Grand Prize winner for three (3) consecutive working days. In the event that The Organizer is unable to contact a winner within this period, the Organizer is entitled to choose an eventual winner from the reserve winner list.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Contest Period.
By participating in the Contest, each contestant is communicating with Samsung electronically. By doing so, each contestant agrees to receive communications from Samsung electronically. Samsung will communicate by push message via Samsung Milk Music, electronic mail at the electronic mail address provided by the contestant or posting notices in such other manner specified herein.
