Right after news broke that Fatman Scoop collapsed on stage and died suddenly at 53 years of age, some people immediately claimed or suggested the American rapper was killed by the COVID-19 vaccine!

Truth : Fatman Scoop did not die suddenly from COVID-19 vaccine!

It is now tradition for anti-vaccine activists to immediately blame all injuries or deaths on the COVID-19 vaccines.

Here are the reasons why this is yet another example of fake news about the COVID-19 vaccines…

Fact #1 : Fatman Scoop’s cause of death is still unknown

Let me start with a quick summary of the circumstances around his sudden death.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, Fatman Scoop (born Isaac Freeman III on August 6, 1971) was performing at the Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut, when he suddenly suffered a medical emergency and collapsed on stage.

His collapsed was caught on video. Fatman Scoop was seen climbing onto a platform, and struggling to go around the DJ. He then said, “If you came to party…” and pausing a moment before saying breathlessly “make some noise“, and then he collapsed out of view.

Medics tried to revive Fatman Scoop, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. The next morning, his manager – DJ and producer Birch Michael, announced his death “with the heaviest of hearts“. And Fatman Scoop’s family then posted their statement, saying that “the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life“.

Neither Fatman Scoop’s manager, nor his publicist Chanel Rae, or his family, have stated his cause of death. They certainly did not blame the COVID-19 vaccines for his death.

In fact, it has been speculated that an energy drink he consumed may have contributed to his death. Sharron Elkabas, the CEO of Fatman Scoop’s PR firm, told The Hollywood Reporter that the hiphop artist drank an energy containing stimulant compounds before his performance:

He had an energy drink before going on stage. He never drank energy drinks, but he did before this show.

Fatman Scoop also shared earlier that he suffered from COVID-19 and cellulitis in April. How bad was it? Did that COVID-19 infection, or his cellulitis, play any part in his death months later? Who knows?

The truth is – none of us know what caused Fatman Scoop’s death. Until and unless his family, or the Connecticut Medical Examiner reveals his official cause of death, no one knows for sure how he died – whether it was a heart attack, a cardiac arrest, or something else.

Fact #2 : Fatman Scoop was not vaccinated against COVID-19!

Fatman Scoop has publicly stated in an interview with Lil Jon that he was against the COVID-19 vaccines, and did not want to take it. He also stated (wrongly) that “the vaccine only MASKS the symptoms”.

I don’t want the vaccine. I’ll take my chances. No vaccine for me.

It is therefore impossible for Fatman Scoop to die from any COVID-19 vaccine side effect. After all – he never got vaccinated against COVID-19!

With that, Fatman Scoop now joins the list of unvaccinated people whose sudden deaths (or injuries) were abused by anti-vaccination activists for their agenda, like Kris Jordan, Aaron Carter, Kirstie Alley, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Macaulay, David Wayne Burleson, and Kaden Clymer.

Will those anti-vaccination activists apologise? I highly doubt it. They will likely just move on to the next sudden death / injury…

Fact #3 : Vaccine side effects appear with hours / days

Some people have also claimed (without evidence) that Fatman Scoop may have changed his mind, and got vaccinated against COVID-19.

But even if Fatman Scoop ended up getting the COVID-19 vaccine, he would have received his doses at least three years ago! He cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination. Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

No Evidence Chris ‘Swaggy’ Baker Suffered Stroke From COVID-19 Vaccine!

It’s now a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all athlete deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Chris Baker Announced He Suffered A Stroke

Chris Baker (born Christopher Isaiah Baker on October 8, 1987) nicknamed ‘Swaggy’ is a former American football defensive tackle who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL).

On Tuesday, 24 January, 2023, Baker announced on an Instagram story that he suffered a stroke, and almost died two days earlier.

Tell your loved ones you love ’em, my life almost ended 2 days ago. I can’t believe I had a stroke but God not done with me yet.

He also shared a video from a Hartford, Connecticut hospital room, showing him sitting up and stalking to a nurse, while hooked up on an IV drip.

Fact #2 : Cause Of Chris Baker’s Stroke Is Still Unknown

According to TMZ Sports, his mother said that Chris Baker suffered the “serious” stroke on Friday, January 20, 2023, and required emergency surgery.

However, his doctors have said that he was responding as if it was a “minor” stroke, and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Currently, the cause of his stroke has not been revealed, and Chris Baker himself never blamed the vaccine for it.

There is simply no evidence that Chris Baker suffered his stroke because of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #3 : Chris Baker Was Likely Not Vaccinated Against COVID-19

It is likely that Chris ‘Swaggy’ Baker was never vaccinated against COVID-19, even though he never publicly said so.

For one thing, the COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States or the NFL, at least for the coaches and players. In any case, it wouldn’t have mattered for Swaggy, because he last played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in February 2018.

More importantly, Chris Baker publicly came out against the COVID-19 vaccines, posting on January 3, 2022 that “vaccine don’t even work”.

I wish you would stop shaming unvaccinated people as if it’s a problem we all have choices.

He continued on January 4, 2022, claiming that “the vaccine doesn’t work” and “the vaccine is a waste of time“.

I’m sure you heard this on the news which lies all day every day🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ my body my choice and IMO the vaccine doesn’t work it’s just an agenda being pushed on people.

we’ll just have to agree to disagree about the vaccination the research I’ve done has shown the vaccine is a waste of time but that’s my opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️

Unless Swaggy himself confirms that he was vaccinated against COVID-19 in spite of his prior comments, it would be wrong to blame his stroke on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #4 : Strokes Can Happen In Young People

While people claim that it is impossible or rare for young people to suffer from strokes, that’s not true.

According to a February 2020 study published in the journal Stroke, about 10% to 15% of strokes occur in adults under 50, and the rate is increasing among young and middle-aged people.

With almost 800,000 people in the United States suffering from a stroke every single year, about 80,000 to 120,000 strokes occur in adults under 50.

In young people, the risk of strokes is increased by these factors:

patent foramen ovale (PFO) : about 1 in 4 people have this small hole between the wall dividing the right and left atrium of the heart. This was what caused Kris Letang’s stroke.
arterial dissection : up to 25% of strokes in people under 45 are caused by a dissecting blood vessel in the neck that occurs spontaneously, but can also be caused by sports-related trauma, or whiplash.
blood clotting disorders like sickle cell disease, which affects 1 in every 365 African Americans.
substance abuse : drugs like cocaine can contribute to strokes by constricting blood vessels while increasing the clumping of blood cells.

While we do not yet know what caused Chris Baker’s stroke, the takeaway is this – it is not rare for young adults to suffer from a stroke.

Fact #5 : Claims Of Athletes Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing athlete deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, claims of athlete deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance.

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next athlete tragedy…
