The four main colours for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone just leaked! Take a look at the four Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 colours, and tell us which you prefer!

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 : Colours + Other Leaked Details!

Samsung is about to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable smartphone in its 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, but it looks like the cat is out of the bag – the four main colours have leaked!

These photos were not only leaked by Evan Blass recently, they were also (accidentally) leaked earlier by Australian retailer Harvey Norman! You can check out all 16 photos in the next section of this article.

If these photos are correct, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be available in four main colours – Silver Shadow, Blue, Yellow, and Mint. We expect Samsung to also introduce four (still unknown) exclusive colours for their online website.

Screenshots of the (now taken down) listing on the Harvey Norman website also gave us a sneak peek at some Galaxy Z Flip 6 details:

Two Storage Capacities

This is not a surprise – Samsung will continue to offer two storage capacities – 256 GB, 512 GB. There is no sign of any 1 TB option, and I seriously doubt Samsung would offer a 128 GB for such a premium device.

Higher Prices

Unfortunately, it appears that prices have gone up by A$150 (about) across the board, at least in Australia:

Galaxy Z Flip 6 (256 GB) : A$1,799 (about $1,199 / £947 / S$1,728 / RM5,649)
Galaxy Z Flip 6 (512 GB) : A$1,999 (about $1,333 / £1,052 / S$1,809 / RM6,277)

Gorilla Glass Victus 2 + Armor Aluminum

The Harvey Norman listing also shows that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Cover display, with Armor Aluminum on the frame and hinge cover.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 : Colours + Other Leaked Details!

Samsung is about to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable smartphone in its 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, but it looks like the cat is out of the bag – the 3 main colours have leaked!

Only 8GB of Memory???

The Harvey Norman listing shows storage capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. But what was most surprising is that it appears to show that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 would only have 8 GB of RAM.

That is rather shocking, as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 debut with 12 GB of memory last year! It seems rather unlikely that Samsung would cut down the amount of memory on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Even if they come up with AI improvements (everything’s attributed to AI these days!) to reduce memory usage, it would still be bad marketing to drop memory capacity in an expensive flagship device.

Three Storage Capacities

What’s not surprising is that Samsung will continue to offer three storage capacities – 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

Higher Prices

Unfortunately, it appears that prices have gone up by A$150 (about) across the board, at least in Australia:

Gorilla Glass Victus 2 + Armor Aluminum

The Harvey Norman listing also shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with Armor Aluminum on the frame and hinge cover.

Slightly Lighter

Finally, the Harvey Norman listing shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be slightly lighter at 239 grams. This shaves off 14 grams (5.5%) off last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, which itself slimmed down by 10 grams.

Samsung just launched the new Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone, and it will be available in four main colours with a matte finish :

Titanium Black
Titanium Gray
Titanium Violet, and
Titanium Yellow

The names of those colours are a nod towards the titanium frame that protects the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, but is not available base and Plus models.

Ahead of the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s official launch, we were given special access to all four main colours that will be offered through retail stores, including Samsung Experience Stores.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra : 3 Special Colours!

In addition to the four main colours, Samsung will also make these three special colours available exclusively through online orders on the Samsung.com website:

It also features an improved hinge that lets the Galaxy Z Fold 5 fold flat, shaving off its maximum folded thickness by 15%, down to just 13.4 mm! It is also 10g lighter at 253 grams.

Its key selling feature remains the same – a very large 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display which folds into half when not used, as well as its 6.2-inch Cover Screen which itself is as big as most smartphone displays!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone builds upon the excellent Galaxy Z Flip 4 from last year, offering a more powerful processor and a much larger front display.

It also features an improved No-Gap Flex Hinge with Ultra Thin Glass that finally folds completely flat, making the Galaxy Z Flip 5 even more compact.

But everything else is pretty much the same – from its large 6.7-inch Infinity Flex display, to its dual 12 MP main cameras.

Samsung just launched the Galaxy A54 smartphone, and here is our comparison of the three key colours!

Samsung Galaxy A54 : Quick Overview

The Galaxy A54 is Samsung’s latest mid-range smartphone, built around the Samsung Exynos 1380 mobile platform, which features:

four Arm Cortex-A78 high-performance cores,
four Arm Cortex-A55 low-power cores, and
an Arm Mali-G68 MP5 GPU

It has a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This display is capable of supporting a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz for smoother graphics.

Hidden in its display is a punch hole camera, with a 32 MP sensor and an f/2.2 aperture. At the back, it sports a triple camera system, that consists of:

a 50 MP main camera, with f/1.8 aperture,
a 12 MP ultra-wide angle camera, with f/2.2 aperture, and
a 5 MP macro camera, with f/2.4 aperture

All that is powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery, which supports up to 25 watt fast charging.

On top of that, Samsung guarantees up to 4 generations of OS upgrades, and 5 years of security updates, as well as 2 years of warranty for the Galaxy A54!

In the front, it has a 10 MP camera, with a wide f/2.2 aperture.

a 50 MP Dual Pixel camera, f/1.8 aperture,
a 12 MP ultra-wide angle camera, f/2.2 aperture, and
a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture

Built To Last

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus has a tough Armor Aluminium frame, and is protected in the back and front by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

On top of that, it is IP68-rated against dust and water ingress. That means it can withstand immersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

Battery + Charging

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus comes with a large 4,500 mAh battery, which offers a very long battery life.

On top of that, it can support wired charging at up to 45 watts, with wireless charging supported at up to 15 watts.

It also supports Wireless PowerShare, allowing you to recharge other smartphones and wearables like the Galaxy Buds2.

The only downside – Samsung is not providing the 45 watt charger in-the-box.

Samsung just combined their Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series into the Galaxy S22 Ultra – their latest flagship smartphone.

Not only does it adopt the blockier industrial design language of the Galaxy Note series, it also comes with the S Pen built-in!

6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a massive 6.8-inch display, with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel.

Its wide colour gamut of 100% DCI-P3, a peak brightness of 1750 nits, and a contrast ratio of 3 million:1 will guarantee the best possible image quality, whether indoors or outdoors.

Gamers will love its high dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, with a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz.

4nm Flagship Mobile Platform

a 108 MP Dual Pixel camera, f/1.8 aperture
a 12 MP ultra-wide angle camera, f/2.2 aperture
a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, and
a 10 MP periscope camera with 10X optical zoom, f/4.9

Ultra-Low Latency S Pen

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the only model in the Galaxy S22 family to come with the S Pen.

Just like the Galaxy Note series, it has a dedicated S Pen slot, so you will never have to worry about dropping the S Pen.

This is an improved S Pen, with ultra-low latency of just 2.8 ms – down from 9 ms in the previous generation. This gives it an instantaneous feel, just like writing an actual pen on paper.

Built To Last

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is protected in the back and front by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The HUAWEI P50 Pro comes with a large 6.6-inch True-Chroma display, with a resolution of 1228 x 2700 pixels.

Its OLED panel offers a wide P3 colour gamut, with a 120 Hz maximum refresh rate, and a maximum touch sampling rate of 300 MHz.

It also boasts a 1440 Hz PWM dimming control, to reduce eyestrain, and allow for comfortable viewing experience in low-light conditions.

Protected From Water!

The HUAWEI P50 Pro is IP68 water-resistant, so it is safe from water splashes and immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for up to 30 minutes.

Flagship Performance!

The HUAWEI P50 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G mobile SoC, which is kept cool by a 3D Graphene Liquid Cooling System.

It also offers plenty of memory and storage, with two variants :

In the front, the HUAWEI P50 Pro has a 13 MP punch hole camera, with a f/2.4 aperture.

The 40 MP monochrome camera complements the 50 MP camera by adding detail to the images it captures – what HUAWEI calls XD Optics with enhanced XD Fusion Pro technology.

On top of that, it supports 66 watt wired fast charging, with 50 watt wireless charging. Very fast indeed!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 boasts a large 6.7-inch Infinity Flex display, with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels.

In the front, it has a small 1.9-inch Cover Display with a Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels.

Its foldable display has a new protective film made from stretchable PET, and newly-optimised display panel layers that is 80% more durable than the Z Fold2 display. The foldable display is now verified to withstand folding at least 200,000 times!

On 11 August 2021, Samsung introduced their third-generation Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone, and here is everything you need to know!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 boasts a large 7.6-inch Infinity Flex display, with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels.

In the front, it has a 6.2-inch Cover Display with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, that has a 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

In addition to the Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the Cover Display, its rear triple camera system is protected by Gorilla Glass with DX.

Its main display has a new protective film made from stretchable PET, and newly-optimised display panel layers that is 80% more durable than the Z Fold2 display. The display is now verified to withstand folding at least 200,000 times!

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is water-resistant in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes, but is not dust-resistant due to its foldable display and folding mechanism. Hence, it is IPX8-rated.

To protect against dust and other particles, its Hideaway Hinge has enhanced Sweeper technology, with shorter bristles.

There are two stylus options for the Z Fold 3 – the S Pen Fold Edition, and the S Pen Pro. They both feature a specially-engineered retractable Pro tip, with force limit technology to protect the foldable display.

Complementing its massive display are dual speakers tuned by AKG, but there is no 3.5 mm audio jack, in case you are wondering.

Just above its cover display, is a 10 MP camera, which you can use without unfolding the phone. When unfolded, you can use the 4 MP front camera, which is hidden under the display for a seamless look.

At the back, it has a triple camera system, that consists of :

12 MP main camera, with f/1.8 aperture
12 MP telephone camera, with 2X zoom and f/2.4 aperture
12 MP ultra-wide camera, with f/2.2 aperture

Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra Compared!

With a 6.2-inch display, the Samsung Galaxy S21 is designed for those who want a light, compact flagship smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, on the other hand, has a larger 6.7-inch display and a larger battery – great for marathon gamers and binge-watchers.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 Ultra offers the ultimate productivity and creativity possibilities with its 6.8-inch display and support for the S Pen.

All three Galaxy S21 models are powered by the same mobile SoC – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in the US, South Korea and China, and the Samsung Exynos 2100 in all other countries.

All three models feature Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, with a dynamic 120 Hz refresh rate. However, while the S21 and S21+ can only go down to 48 Hz, while the S21 Ultra can go as low as 10 Hz.

They are all protected by Gorilla Glass Victus in the front, with IP68 dust and water-resistance; and come with 18 watt wireless charging and 25 watt wired charging capability.

While the Galaxy S21+ appears to be a larger variant of the Galaxy S21 with a larger battery, the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with more memory and a completely different camera system.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is also the only model to support the S Pen stylus.

If Ultra-wideband support is important, you should note that it is only supported by Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

New Flagship Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in the US, South Korea and China, and the new Samsung Exynos 2100 in other countries.

Front + Rear Cameras
