The video has gone viral on social media, and is being shared on WhatsApp with messages like these:

Rohingas are protected by the UNCHR. They even have a big international school

The Rohingas do not buy the veggies

The foreigners and Malaysians buy the veggies
Especially the small biz people
Because it’s cheap

Claim : Rohingyas Are Not Using Chemicals To Freshen Old Vegetables!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by people to cast aspersions on the marginalised Rohingyas who are refugees in Malaysia, and many other countries, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : This Is An Old + Edited Video

First, let me just point out that this is an old video that was edited for length, from its original run time of 4 minutes 7 seconds to just 1 minutes 42 seconds.

The earliest version appeared to have been uploaded to YouTube on 23 July 2021, by a Telugu channel called Mana Family Trends. Back then, it went viral on WhatsApp as well.

The shorter edited video first appeared on LinkedIn in middle of March 2023. It went viral there, and was reposted to Twitter on Friday, 17 March 2023, where it blew up.

Fact #2 : Original Video Did Not Refer To Rohingyas

The original video, and the newer but shorter video, did not refer to the Rohingyas in their description or titles.

This is 105 sec live video of how vegetables and fruits are freshened by washing them in chemicals. In just a minute, the vegetables look fresh. This is the reason for the increase in critical illnesses nowadays.

A two minute real life horror story. 😱

Fact #3 : The Video Was Recorded In India

The video was recorded in India, and not Malaysia. So it has absolutely nothing to do with the Rohingya refugees here in Malaysia.

Fact #4 : It Appears To Be A Spreader Sticker Activator Demonstration

The video does not show farmers freshening their old vegetables by dipping them into a chemical bath.

Rather, the video appears to show a salesperson from an agrochemical company demonstrating the wetting effect of a spreader sticker activator.

Spreader sticker activator is meant to be mixed with other chemicals, because it is inert and works as an adjuvant (see Fact #5). Therefore, you won’t see anyone dip their produce into the spreader sticker activator, as seen in the viral video, except in demonstrations like this.

Fact #5 : Many Agrochemical Products Contain Spreader Sticker Activator

Spreader Sticker Activator is a silicone-based chemical compound that is mixed with pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers to boost their performance by:

reducing surface tension, to allow for rapid wetting and absorption
improving the adhesion of those chemicals
opening the pores for faster absorption

By using a sticker spreader activator, you can use less chemicals and yet, they are more effective and last longer, saving you money. Hence, many agrochemical products already come with sticker spreader activator mixed in as an adjuvant.

Fact #6 : Spreader Sticker Activators Are Considered Biologically Inert

Spreader sticker activators are considered to be biologically inert, and are therefore not registered by the US EPA. There is also no OSHA hazard classification.

There is currently no evidence that spreader sticker activators can cause cancer, or any other disease.

That said, its safety profile is based on the fact that only a small amount is mixed with other chemicals. It is not meant to be applied alone to plants, never mind used to soak them.

Truth : Sam Neill Did Not Develop Blood Cancer From COVID-19 Vaccine!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Sam Neill Was Diagnosed With Lymphoma In 2022

Sir Sam Neill (born Nigel John Dermot Neill on 14 September 1947) revealed that he was diagnosed with stage three blood cancer in an interview with The Guardian on 17 March 2023.

He noticed that he had swollen glands while he was in Los Angeles on a publicity tour for his movie, Jurassic World Dominion. He was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and underwent chemotherapy in March 2022.

That was when he decided to write his memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This?, in which he started with a candid look at his own mortality:

The thing is, I’m crook. Possibly dying. I may have to speed this up.

Fact #2 : Sam Neill Is Now In Remission

Unfortunately, the first round of chemotherapy did not work, and things were looking grim for the New Zealander. A new and very expensive chemotherapy drug was then proposed.

This new chemotherapy drug is likely on clinical trial, which is why Sam Neill signed a contract with the unnamed drug company to receive it, and that the treatment would then become free if he was still alive after four months. He even joked about it in the interview:

Have you noticed I have a slight look of lab rat about me?

At that time, Sam Neill was the only person in New South Wales, Australia, to have this treatment, and when he moved back to New Zealand, he was the only person in the country to be on it.

Fortunately, this new chemotherapy drug worked, and Sam Neill is currently in remission. However, he must continue to have the monthly treatment for the rest of his life, and endure feeling “shithouse” for two days after each treatment when he doesn’t feel like eating.

I’m not off the hook as such, but there’s no cancer in my body.

Fact #3 : AITL Is Associated With Epstein-Barr Virus

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a rare and aggressive form of peripheral T-cell lymphoma – a type of blood cancer which mostly affects middle-aged or elderly patients. Sam Neill was 74 years old when he was diagnosed with AITL, which isn’t unusual.

But more importantly, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma is highly associated with latent Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection.

After getting an EBV infection, the virus remains in your body but becomes latent (inactive), and may reactivate later in life. In rare cases, it appears that the latent EBV infections can reactivate and trigger angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.

Biopsies of AITL patients were shown to have EBV genomes in the tumour cells. In some cases, people with acute Epstein-Barr virus infections were found to have developed AITL!

AITL is, however, not associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19. It is certainly not associated with any COVID-19 vaccine, whether it uses mRNA or more traditional vaccine technologies.

Fact #4 : Sam Neill Is Likely Fully-Vaccinated

Sam Neill did not publicly reveal his vaccination status, but he is likely fully-vaccinated and boosted too, as he has always been supportive of measures to protect against COVID-19, including vaccines.

As far back as February 2021, he spoke out against antivaxxers, and said that “salvation lies in vaccinations”.

He also travelled to the United States and Australia, where it is mandatory for foreign travellers to be fully-vaccinated.

Fact #5 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

So far, claims of sudden deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance. Here is the latest dozen of other false sudden death claims!

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next celebrity tragedy…

When cooking food with the pot, we must use boiled water. Because if we directly use tap water, which has chlorine, and after heating due to the lid been covered, the chlorine is completely coated on the food. So be sure to use boiled water or filtered water without chlorine to steam thing.

No Evidence Steaming Food Can Cause Cancer From Chlorine!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : There Is No Chlorine Gas In Tap Water

First, I should point out that tap water does not actually contain chlorine gas. Chlorine gas may be used to disinfect tap water, but it is quickly transformed into other chemicals that actually disinfect the water – hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite anion.

The common usage of chlorine (or free chlorine) in tap water really refers to these chemical compounds, and not chlorine gas itself. There is certainly no chlorine gas inside tap water.

Fact #2 : Regulated Tap Water Has Low Levels Of Chlorine

Tap water in most countries only has low levels of chlorine – between 0.2 to 1 mg per litre, although it may go as high as 4 mg per litre – four parts per million.

Fact #3 : Water With Too Much Chlorine Is Undrinkable

In places where the levels of chlorine in the tap water is poorly regulated, it may be possible for the tap water to have too high levels of chlorine – anything above 4 mg per litre – four parts per million.

Even if you do not have professional testing on hand, you can look out for signs of too much chlorine in the water:

the water smells or tastes like swimming pool water
you experience nausea, diarrhoea, or vomiting after drinking the water

I should point out that swimming pools have an upper limit of 5 mg per litre – five parts per million, while spas can go as high as 10 mg per litre. You can taste the chlorine in the water, but even then, it is not dangerous to accidentally swallow some of the water, although it is distasteful.

Fact #4 : Chlorine Evaporates Naturally From Tap Water

What people may not realise is that chlorine is volatile and evaporates naturally from tap water over a day or so.

If you leave a glass of tap water in the open, it should be pretty much chlorine-free after a day or so.

Fact #5 : Chlorine In Tap Water Evaporates When Heated

The vapour pressure of chlorine is much lower than that of water, so it will evaporate by the time your tap water starts boiling.

The evaporated chlorine “escapes” with the steam, and doesn’t coat your food as claimed, because… its vapour pressure is lower than that of water!

So the risk of getting cancer from chlorine is lower, if not eradicated, by steaming or boiling tap water.

Fact #6 : Only Certain Water Filters Can Remove Free Chlorine

The typical particle filters will not remove free chlorine. Only water filters using reverse osmosis and/or active carbon filters can remove free chlorine from tap water.

So the advice to just use filtered water is not accurate, as the filtered water will likely still contain chlorine (unless it uses reverse osmosis / carbon filtration)

Fact #7 : Carcinogenicity Of Chlorine Has Not Been Determined

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not classified chlorine regarding its human carcinogenicity.

That’s likely because chlorine is an irritant, and it is unlikely for humans to willingly consume large amounts of it.

Fact #8 : Trihalomethanes Are The Real Risk, Not Chlorine

Chlorine may react with organic matter in the water to produce compounds like trihalomethanes, such as chloroform, dibromochloromethane (DBCM), bromodichloromethane (BDCM), and Bromoform.

These trihalomethane compounds are potential human carcinogens. These are the compounds that pose a potential health risk, and not the free chlorine in tap water itself.

However, the level of trihalomethane compounds in well-regulated tap water is very low, so the real risk occurs when there is poor regulation of tap water.

Yan Zonghai, Director of the Clinical Toxicology Department of Chang Gung Hospital in Linkou, said that the public is worried that after chlorine disinfection in tap water, there may be residual “trihalomethanes”, which are volatile organic compounds with low boiling points. Long-term exposure in large quantities may cause cancer.

The World Health Organization (WHO) lists trihalomethanes as a confirmed carcinogenic risk in animals, but there is no relevant evidence for human cancer. Yan Zonghai emphasized that the limit value of chlorination and disinfection of tap water is checked, and the possible production of trihalomethanes is very small, so the public should not worry.

Official : Football Legend Pele Died After Cancer Battle

For weeks now, the Internet has been rife with rumours that football legend, Pele, died after he was admitted to a Sao Paolo hospital in November.

Sadly, his agent, Joe Fraga, just confirmed that 82 year-old Pele died on Thursday, December 29, 2022. His death was also announced on his official Twitter and Facebook accounts:

His daughter, Kely Nascimento, later posted this on Instagram:

Born Edson Arantes do Nascimento on October 23, 1940, Pele grew up shining shoes, and was introduced to the Santos’ youth squads by a local professional player.

Pele ended up playing 114 matches for Brazil, scoring a record 95 goals, and winning a record three World Cups. That earned him the moniker, “The King of the Beautiful Game“, and he was considered one of the greatest footballers of all time.

Pele Died After Battling Colon Cancer For Over A Year

The Brazilian football legend had a tumour removed from the right side of his colon in September 2021. Although his eldest daughter, Kely, said that he was “doing well”, he was reportedly admitted to intensive care a few days later. However, he was released on 30 September 2021 to begin chemotherapy.

On 29 November 2022, he was admitted to the Hospital Israelita A. Einstein (Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital) in São Paulo to reassess his chemotherapy and to treat a respiratory infection.

He was confirmed to have “decompensated heart failure”, which caused general swelling (edema), and was reportedly struggling to eat and had mental confusion, which led doctors to look into whether he was suffering from hepatic encephalopathy.

Last week, the hospital issued a statement saying that his cancer had advanced, and Pele was also experiencing renal and cardiac dysfunctions.

Admitted since November 29 for a reassessment of chemotherapy therapy for colon tumor and treatment of a respiratory infection, Edson Arantes do Nascimento presents progression of the oncological disease and requires greater care related to renal and cardiac dysfunctions.

The patient remains hospitalised in a common room, under the necessary care of the medical team.

His family spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with him at the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital.

Insta family, our Christmas at home has been suspended. We decided with the doctors that, for various reasons, it would be better for us to stay here with all the care that this new family at Einstein gives us!!

On Boxing Day – the day Pele allegedly died, Kely Nascimento posted about making through “another night with him”.

We always have a lot to be thankful for, even spending Christmas in the hospital we are aware of the privilege it is to be in a hospital like @hosp_einstein.

To see our dad being treated by these professionals, super competent and extremely caring. Not a moment goes by that we forget this privilege. Even in sadness we can only be thankful.

Thank you for being together, thank you for all your affection, thank you that I can be here now with him. Merry Christmas.

Three days later, she posted an update, to share that it has been a rollercoaster ride for the Pele family. At that time, she did not state that Pele had died.

These moments are hard to explain. Sometimes there is a lot of sadness and despair, other times we laugh and talk of fun memories. And what we learn most from all this is that we have to look for each other, and hold tight. Only then it’s all worth it with all of us together.

Pele’s cause of death was listed as multiple organ failure as a complication of colon cancer.

Pele leaves behind his wife, Marcia Aoki whom he married in 2016, and seven known children, including Kely Nascimento and Edson “Edinho”.

Last week, the hospital issued a statement saying that his cancer had advanced, and Pele was also experiencing renal and cardiac dysfunctions.

The patient remains hospitalised in a common room, under the necessary care of the medical team.

Fact #2 : Pele Died On December 29, 2022

Pele died on Thursday, December 29, 2022 – three days after the purported article on his death was allegedly posted.

This was confirmed by his agent Joe Fraga, as well as his official Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Fact #4 : Pele Was Not Suffering From COVID-19

While people initially speculated that Pele was suffering from COVID-19, his eldest daughter Kely Nascimento explained that he had the coronavirus earlier, but now had a lung infection.

About three weeks ago he got Covid. He is vaccinated, with all the vaccines, but because of the cancer medicine, the chemotherapy, which is fragile, he got a lung infection.

The article on Pele’s death was purportedly written by Jon Whitman – a writer for the Thai website, Thaiger.

It is unknown if the screenshot was photo-edited, or if the Thaiger accidentally published a prepared obituary for Pele and quickly rescinded it. The article is not / no longer available on the Thaiger website.

Pele did indeed die in a São Paulo hospital, but only days later – on 29 December 2022.

Ronnie Turner (born Ronald Renelle Turner on October 27, 1960) was the only child from Ike and Tina Turner’s marriage.

On the morning of Thursday, December 8, 2022, Ronnie Turner collapsed with breathing difficulties outside his home in San Fernando, California.

His neighbours made a 911 call, and attempted CPR after he stopped breathing, but they could not revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fact #2 : Ronnie Turner Died From Cancer

On Saturday, December 10, 2022, Afida Turner – Ronnie Turner’s wife revealed that he died from cancer that ravaged his health in the last three weeks.

Ronnie Turner survived cancer in the past. It is unknown what cancer caused his death, or if it was a recurrence of his previous cancer, or something new.

But one thing is for sure – his death had nothing to do with COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #3 : Unknown If Ronnie Turner Was Vaccinated

It is currently unknown if Ronnie Turner was vaccinated against COVID-19, so it would be wrong for anyone to claim that he died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

For example, anti-vaccination activists claimed that Kaden Clymer was almost crippled by a 6-foot long vaccine-induced blood clot, but the high school athlete was never vaccinated against COVID-19!

Unless his family reveals his vaccination status, anyone who tells you that Ronnie Turner was fully-vaccinated and died from the vaccine is likely lying to you.

Fact #4 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Ronnie Turner was vaccinated against COVID-19, he would have received all of his doses many months ago.

He cannot possibly have died from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #5 : Deaths / Injuries From COVID-19 Vaccines Can Be Proven

Despite anti-vaccination activists chalking up celebrity deaths to the vaccine; death or injury from rare vaccine adverse effects like anaphylaxis, myocarditis and VITT can be proven.

Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) from Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines happens within minutes. That’s why people are asked to wait for 15-30 minutes after getting the vaccine. People who get an anaphylactic shock will require an epinephrine shot to quickly relieve it.

Vaccine-induced myocarditis has distinct histopathology findings that are different from typical myocarditis, so a pathologist will be able to determine if the myocarditis was caused by the vaccines or otherwise.

Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) is very specific to the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. It is also easily differentiated by its unique combination of blood clots in large veins of the brains, abdomen and lungs, together with low platelet counts leading to bleeding tendencies.

Fact #6 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

According to her family’s statement, she was cared for at the Moffitt Cancer Center before she passed away.

While her family did not state what cancer she suffered from, her manager confirmed the next day that it was colon cancer.

Fact #2 : Colon Cancer Is Difficult To Detect Early

Anti-vaccination activists are claiming that Kirstie Alley’s colon only started “months ago”, suggesting that it must have been caused by the COVID-19 vaccines she received.

First, I need to point out that her family and her manager did not share when Kirstie Alley was diagnosed with colon cancer. Her family only said that the cancer was recently discovered.

Just because the cancer was recently discovered, does not mean that it only just “started”.

Colon cancer is known as a “silent killer”, because it produces vague, mild symptoms like stomach cramps, weight loss, bloating, etc. until it’s much too advanced to treat or cure.

Fact #3 : Colon Cancer Is Rather Common

Colon cancer is actually rather common – it is the fourth most common cancer in the United States, and the second deadliest cancer, after lung cancer.

The National Cancer Institute estimates that over 150,000 new colorectal cancer cases will be detected in 2022, while over 52,000 people suffering from colorectal cancer are expected to die this year.

Nearly 90%of colorectal cancer patients are 50 years or older. Kirstie Alley was 71 years old when she died from colon cancer.

You may recall that Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman died from colorectal cancer on August 28, 2020, at a young age of just 43. This, you may note, was months before the first COVID-19 vaccines were approved.

On Monday, November 14, 2022, MMA journalist Ariel Halwani broke the news that Anthony “Rumble” Johnson passed away that day, after Anthony’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz cryptically tweeted that he was “heartbroken”.

While some news media said that his cause of death was unknown or undetermined, Anthony Rumble Johnson’s cause of death was organ failure due to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.

In other words, he died from organ failure brought about by cancer of his white blood cells, as well as an autoimmune disorder in which his white blood cells attacked other blood cells.

Anthony Rumble Johnson did NOT die from any COVID-19 vaccine side effect, period.

Fact #2 : He Was Battling With Lymphoma For Over A Year

Anthony Rumble Johnson was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma sometime in 2021.

His condition deteriorated so much he asked his fans for prayers, and wondered if he would make it to 2022, in an emotional Instagram post on September 19, 2021.

Cynthia Lai, who was a Scarborough North city councillor, died on Friday, October 21, 2022, at the age of 68.

Her campaign manager, Hatch Aynedjian, confirmed her death on Friday afternoon, and said that Cynthia Lai “died in hospital, and was surrounded by family“.

Aynedjian also said that Cynthia Lai had been battling an illness throughout this year, and only decided to run for re-election when her condition improved in the spring.

However, her condition deteriorated and she ended up campaigning from a hospital bed, and missed an all-candidates meeting on October 19, 2022.

The City of Toronto confirmed that Cynthia Lai had been suffering from gallbladder cancer.

So let me be clear – Cynthia Lai’s cause of death was gallbladder cancer, not the COVID-19 vaccines.

Fact #2 : Cynthia Lai Was Fully-Vaccinated

Cynthia Lai was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in April 2021, and did not appear to suffer any ill effects.

In fact Cynthia Lai was a strong advocate of vaccination, and her last Twitter post was a retweet of a Toronto Public Health recommendation that everyone 5 years and older get a fall booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Until her hospitalisation and death, she was very active in her community, proving that the COVID-19 vaccines had no ill effects on her.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 vaccines only protect against severe disease and death from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. They cannot protect against gallbladder cancer…

Bracknell, UK – (18th October 2022) – Kalypso Media Group are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Simon Hellwig, company owner and joint Managing Director.

As was always planned for Simon’s succession and the future of the business, Dr. Anika Thun will continue to lead as Managing Director with the support of senior management and the entire company group. Simon leaves behind a hugely successful business and legacy that we, as a group, endeavour to maintain. Simon’s vision was clear and we are committed to fulfilling it and continuing the growth of the company in honour of his legacy.

Simon co-founded Kalypso Media in 2006 and oversaw its notable growth. Now proudly standing at over 200 global employees at offices across Germany, England, France, Japan and North America, the group currently includes the digital label Kasedo Games and five development studios: Realmforge Studios, Gaming Minds Studios, Claymore Game Studios, Nine Worlds Studios and Bulwark Studios.

Simon’s business acumen and affection for the video games industry began from an early age. Whilst others were developing homemade games in their bedrooms, Simon instead would buy and sell them to magazines. His love of one of the earliest play-by-mail strategy games, Gladius et Pilum, not only combined his interests in gaming and history but also established a lifelong passion for historical strategy games.

This enthusiasm for the industry culminated in his diploma thesis ‘Development of a Business Plan for the Foundation of a Company in the Entertainment Software Industry’ which would go on to define the expectations and aims of the Kalypso Media Group. These goals were met and exceeded over the last sixteen years, in which Simon and his team grew Kalypso to become a name in the industry that continues to stand for quality strategy and simulation games.

Kalypso Media has lost an enormously well-respected leader and friend. Throughout his sixteen years at the helm, Simon consistently inspired those around him through his dedication to his team, the business and the wider industry. His brilliant vision and his endless enthusiasm knew no bounds and he will be immensely missed by his Kalypso Media family and friends within the industry. As a family business, Anika and Simon were united as partners in every way and this loss is immeasurable. Our thoughts are with all those who were dear to him.

Truth : Ferret Baudoin Did NOT Die From Vaccine Sudden Death!

It’s now a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why, and what we know so far…

Fact #1 : Ferret Baudoin Died From Complications Of Cancer Surgery

Veteran game developer, Ferret Baudoin (born Eric Baudoin) did NOT die from COVID-19 vaccines. He died from complications of cancer surgery.

Ferret Baudoin’s cause of death was NOT the COVID-19 vaccine, but complications encountered during a surgery he underwent for his cancer.

Baudoin’s sister revealed that it was “painless for him”, and Ferret was “in very good spirits” before the surgery, and that he was “surrounded by family and friends”.

Credit goes to Redditor ken4656 who spoke directly to Baudoin’s family, and found out more about his untimely passing:

His passing was sudden and stemmed from complications from cancer surgery. Many of us have had cancer visit close to home and can empathize how hard this fight is. In the words of his sister, “fortunately it was painless, and he was in very good spirits. Surrounded by family and friends.”

His family only now through the outpouring of support from colleagues and fans alike in gaming how impactful his work was. His children are still young, and he only had 11 years with them. At the very least we wanted them to know what their Dad did, today and years from now when they look back on his legacy in gaming.

The family is asking that donations be to his children’s college fund, or the American Cancer Society.

Fact #2 : Unknown If Ferret Baudoin Was Vaccinated

It is currently unknown if Ferret Baudoin was vaccinated against COVID-19, so it would be wrong for anyone to claim that he died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in the United States, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

For example, anti-vaccination activists claimed that Kaden Clymer was almost crippled by a 6-foot long vaccine-induced blood clot, but the high school athlete was never vaccinated against COVID-19!

Fact #3 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours / Days

Even if Ferret Baudoin was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, he definitely received his vaccine doses many months ago.

He cannot possibly have died from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not many months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Fact #4 : Claims Of Celebrities Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing celebrity deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, claims of celebrity deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance.

Fallout 76 Lead Designer, Ferret Baudoin, Has Died… 🙁

Bethesda Softworks senior designer Eric “Ferret” Baudoin, who was the lead designer on Fallout 76 and the Dragon Age series, has died.

According to a Facebook tribute page, he “passed suddenly”, “surrounded by his family” on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Help keep the Lore Keeper’s lore alive. On October 15, 2022, legendary game designer Ferret Baudoin passed suddenly. He is surrounded by his family. He loved real life as much as games. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son.

It also asked that Baudoin’s fans help his children go to college by donating to “buy Ferret Baudoin a coffee“.

In Ferret Baudoin’s long career, he has touched the lives of many gamers through the games he worked on:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (designer)
Dragon Age: Origins (Leader Designer/Writer)
Dragon Age II (Lead Designer/Writer)
Dragon Age: Inquisition (Designer).
He also worked for Black Isle and Obsidian and had been designer on the cancelled Fallout Van Buren title.
After joining Bethesda he served as Quest Designer & Writer on Fallout 4 and was also a Senior Designer on the yet to be released Starfield.

Eric chose to be credited as Ferret Baudoin as his preferred name. One Redditor claimed that Baudoin was already using that nickname in 1989 when he was a college freshman, but was very secretive about its meaning or origins.

I lived in the dorm room next to him for three years and he was best man at my wedding, and I don’t know where it came from,” they wrote. “I do know he had fun with it when he visited Ireland. At the time there was a fad in the country that involved shoving a ferret down your trousers, and he used it as a pick-up line!

Ferret Baudoin was with Bethesda Softworks for 10 years, before his untimely demise.

Vancouver Times just posted an article claiming that five Toronto doctors from their COVID-19 booster dose

5 doctors in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada are dead as a direct result of taking the experimental Covid jab, according to a recently released report viewed by the Vancouver Times.

One doctor, Dr. Paul Hannam, had his death officially linked to the Covid “vaccine” earlier this month. The news went unreported by mainstream outlets.

This comes has Interpol cracks down on the architects of the “plandemic,” a criminal conspiracy by the WHO, WEF, and Liberal Western leaders to enslave and eventually kill members of their population. The scheme was designed to fit into Bill Gates’ plan for de-population.

Director-General of the WHO was arrested earlier this week. He was arrested on an airplane trying to escape to Africa with a bag of money, and expensive jewelry. He is currently out on bail and expected to fight his charges with a team of high-priced lawyers.

Bill Gates was arrested late Saturday for crimes against humanity and genocide. He was found to have two underage sex slaves in his secret lair. Like the others, he faces the death penalty if convicted.

Interpol has confirmed with the Vancouver Times that Justin Trudeau and Klaus Schwab are also wanted for crimes against humanity and genocide.

The mainstream media has provided limited coverage on the arrest of the globalists that masterminded the “plandemic.”

Those Doctors Did NOT Die After Getting Booster Dose!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by anti-vaccination activists to scare people from protecting themselves against COVID-19, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Vancouver Times Is A Fake News Website

Vancouver Times is a “content aggregator” (copy and paste) website that is known for creating fake news to generate more page views and money.

To look legitimate, they copy and paste news from legitimate news organisations. To drive traffic, they create fake news. To give themselves a veneer of deniability, they label themselves as a “satire website” :

Vancouver Times is the most trusted source for satire on the West Coast. We write satirical stories about issues that affect conservatives.

The truth is – they just create fake news to “go viral”. Here are some of their fake news that we debunked :

Fact #2 : Dr. Paul D. Hannam Died Of Sudden Cardiac Failure

Dr. Paul Davidson Hannam collapsed and died of sudden cardiac failure while he was out for a run.

While anti-vaccination activists claim that it is impossible for athletes and fit people to die during exercise, that’s not true.

The truth is – many fit athletes die unexpectedly every year, and the number has been steadily increasing every year.

This chart from the Maron study shows a progressive rise in sudden death reports of 6% per year, from 1980 to 2006.

In fact, the number of sudden deaths in young and fit athletes more than quadrupled from 1980 to 2006!

This debunks the claim that such a rise in sudden death must be due to the COVID-19 vaccine, which obviously did not exist back then.

Fact #3 : Dr. Lorne Segall Died Of Lung Cancer

Dr. Lorne E. Segall died after a year-long battle with advanced lung cancer.

So he most definitely did not die from getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #4 : Dr. Stephen McKenzie Was Seriously Ill

According to his office, Dr. Stephen W. McKenzie had been “seriously ill” leading up to his death.

Although the nature of his illness was not disclosed, his office had earlier been permanently closed, so it must have happened earlier and is thus unrelated to the 2nd booster dose.

Fact #5 : Dr. Jakub Sawicki Died From Stomach Cancer

According to his wife, Iris Sawicki, Dr. Jakub Sawicki was diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric cancer in August 2021 – just two weeks after the birth of their son, John-Paul.

Specifically, Dr. Jakub Sawicki had signet ring cell adenocarcinoma (SRCC) – a rare and very aggressive form of stomach cancer. He most certainly did not die from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #6 : Dr. Candace Nayman Collapsed During A Triathlon

Dr. Candace Nayman collapsed in the water during the Toronto Triathlon Festival on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Lifeguards responded immediately, rescuing her from the water and paramedics attended to her before they took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she died four days later, on Thursday, July 28.

Deaths from cardiac arrests during triathlons are not rare – a study of more than 9 million participants in the US over 3 decades showed that the incidence rate was 1.74 out of every 100,000 competitors.

According to the lead study author, Dr. Kevin Harris – a cardiologist at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minnesota :

The majority (66.7%) of deaths occur in the swim portion of the triathlon, which is the first portion of the race.

During this portion of the race, the athletes likely experience an adrenaline surge as they enter the water and are competing in close proximity to other athletes, and in some cases with environmental conditions that are difficult to prepare for.

Fact #7 : No Evidence They Received Booster Dose Recently

Jason Pires of Vancouver Times claimed, without evidence, that the five Toronto doctors died “as a direct result” of getting the booster dose.

He was too lazy to even point out that the province of Ontario started recommending the 2nd booster dose (4th vaccine dose) just before the doctors died.

But even if he did – it wouldn’t mean anything, because it does not mean they actually got the second booster dose.

The truth is – there is NO EVIDENCE any of the five doctors received a COVID-19 booster dose recently.

Fact #8 : Bill Gates And Dr. Tedros Were Not Arrested

Vancouver Times created the fake stories that both Bill Gates and WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus were arrested for crimes against humanity.

That was completely fabricated to trigger conspiracy theorists and anti-vaccination activists into sharing their fake story.

INTERPOL does NOT have the power to arrest or charge anyone of any crime in any country around the world.

Fact #9 : There Are No Arrest Warrants For Justin Trudeau + Klaus Schwab

Vancouver Times also created the fake story that INTERPOL issued arrest warrants for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab.

There is no arrest warrant for either men. This was fabricated by Vancouver Times to trigger conspiracy theorists and anti-vaccination activists to share their fake news.

Fact #10 : There Is No Such Thing As A Publication Ban

Vancouver Times likes to use the “media blackout” claim, to explain why you can’t find any reputable media outlet reporting on Bill Russell dying from the COVID-19 vaccine.

That’s utter and complete bullshit. No one – not a judge, not even the American government – can control the worldwide media, or prevent anyone from writing about Bill Russell’s death.

You can also be sure that even if the mainstream media refused to run the story, it would have been reported by many other websites and bloggers.

Yet, not a single blogger or online website published their account of this incredible story? That’s because IT NEVER HAPPENED…

A number of rumour / fake news blogs have tried to capitalise on Paul Ryder’s sudden death by falsely claiming that he died from cancer – rhabdomyosarcoma – on the day of his concert.

Vimbuzz : Paul Ryder Family: Wife, Children, Parents, Siblings

English musician Paul Anthony Ryder has given up his breath at the age of 58. He breathed his last on July 15, 2022, from the disease of rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer, according to reports.

The Post (India) : Paul Ryder died at the age of 58 after battling cancer, specifically rhabdomyosarcoma.

Truth : Paul Ryder Did Not Die From Cancer!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS that some websites create for more page views and money, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Paul Ryder Died On July 15, 2022

First, let us establish what is known so far about Paul Ryder’s death, which isn’t much.

His brother and frontman of the band Happy Mondays, Shaun Ryder, announced that he died on the morning of July 15, 2022.

The Ryder family and Happy Mondays band members are deeply saddened and shocked to say that Paul Ryder passed away this morning

A true pioneer and legend. He will be forever missed ❤️

Fact #2 : Paul Ryder Died Hours Before Show

While Paul Ryder was a heroin addict for over 20 years, he claimed that he never suffered any adverse effect until he was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021 :

I was a heroin addict for 20-odd years, but there’s been no damage off that. I’ve never had anything wrong with me until I was 53.

He was also scheduled to play on the day he died, at the Kubix Festival in Sunderland. That suggests that he was not sick, and was healthy enough to play.

But that didn’t stop anti-vaccination activists and rumour blogs from claiming that he died from COVID-19 vaccination.

Fact #3 : Paul Ryder’s Cause Of Death Is Unknown

Paul Ryder’s family and band only announced his death, but did not mention a cause of death. That means NO ONE KNOWS (at this time) what he died from.

Let me be clear – his cause of death was not revealed. That does not mean he died from “a vaccine injury” or “vaccine side effects”.

Until an autopsy is performed and his family reveals his cause of death, anyone who claims that Paul Ryder died of this cause or that cause is lying to you.

Fact #4 : Rhabdomyosarcoma Is Rare In Adults

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare soft tissue cancer that can occur at any age, but most often affects children.

In fact, it is generally considered to be a childhood cancer, with the vast majority of cases occurring in children below 18 years of age, and more than half in children younger than 10 years old.

Fact #5 : Rhabdomyosarcoma Is Highly Aggressive

Rhabdomyosarcoma is highly aggressive, with a 5-year survival rate of 61% for children, and only 27% for adults!

If Paul Ryder had rhabdomyosarcoma, you can be sure he wouldn’t be preparing to play at a concert!

Fact #6 : It Was His Son Who Suffered From Rhabdomyosarcoma

It was not Paul Ryder who suffered from cancer, but his son – Chico, who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma on December 28, 2012 – almost 10 years ago!

Chico was 6 years old when he had a sore throat and a swelling on his neck, and became very ill just 5 days before Christmas 2012.

He was admitted to the hospitals for tests, and three days later – the diagnosis came back. Chico was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma on December 28, 2012.

In 2020, it was revealed that Chico survived and had been in remission for over 2.5 years.

The rumour blogs probably misread the story when they copied and pasted the information, or they saw that “cancer” and “rhabdomyosarcoma” ranked highly for Paul Ryder and decided to capitalise on those keywords.

Fact #7 : None Of Them Offered Any Evidence

Even if we ignore the fact that Paul Ryder’s family never said publicly that he was suffering from cancer, never mind the same rhabdomyosarcoma that afflicted his son, there is simply no evidence he was suffering from cancer.

He was certainly well enough to prepare to play at the Kubix Festival in Sunderland, the day he died.

None of the websites that claimed Paul Ryder died from cancer / rhabdomyosarcoma, offered anything remotely close to “evidence”.

One of them – Vimbuzz, is famous for creating nonsense articles about celebrities. Recently, they falsely claimed that a source told them Danielle Hampson died in a car accident!

Every mainstream media covering the story is saying the same thing – Paul Ryder’s cause of death remained unknown. If he died from cancer, they would have mentioned it.

Until we know for certain – we cannot simply jump to conclusions… or fall for the fake news / fake videos created by people whose only motivation is to make money from your views and clicks.

People are excitedly sharing this post on WhatsApp and on social media, claiming that mRNA vaccines cause killer lymphocytes to destroy our immune system.

It claims that this is why people vaccinated against COVID-19 are suffering from shingles, tuberculosis, cancer, monkeypox, etc.

It’s rather long, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

Shingles, TB will break out very soon, all over everywhere… It is caused by our dysfunctional immune system that is caused by killer lymphocytes self attack….. because the target is all the spiked proteins…

Our killer lymphocytes, is protecting us by killing viruses. Instead, the killer lymphocytes look for all the spiked proteins that leak into all our organs and attack our own cells. Why attack our own healthy cells. Because Spiked Proteins are all spiked to our healthy cells in all the organs ..The spiked leak into our organs!

This is the work of the damn mRNA spiked proteins… All mRNA based vaccine will harm our immune system this way….. This is how all the posum hereditary diseases will break out…. Shingles, TB, Cancer, Monkey Pox and many other will surface……. as the immune system is gone…

The more times the booster shots that boost only more antibodies for a few weeks only, the more the immune system die off… Some unfortunates die after one or two vaccine shots. So think carefully, you can go for 4 th and 5th…..booster… at you own very life expense.

Everytime you get booster shots, your antibodies will go up a little more, but the immune system will be gone…. and the so vaccinated sure to suffer…with mRNA vaccine….

Truth : mRNA Vaccines Do NOT Cause Killer Lymphocytes To Destroy Immune System!

This appears to be yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛) as part of their anti-mRNA vaccine campaign.

Here are the reasons why this is just more Chinese wumao bullshit…

Fact #1 : All COVID-19 Vaccines Target The Spike Protein

First, it is important that you understand that all COVID-19 vaccines focus on the spike protein for two main reasons :

It is unique to the SARS-CoV-2 virus
It is what the virus uses to attach to our cells, and enter them.

Antibodies that the vaccines “create” will therefore bind to the spike proteins, and physically block the COVID-19 virus from attaching to our cells.

All approved COVID-19 vaccines target the spike protein for this very reason, even inactivated virus vaccines like the Chinese Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccine.

Fact #2 : mRNA Vaccines Do Not Leak Spike Proteins

In an effort to promote Chinese inactivated virus vaccines, China has been conducting a prolonged and extensive disinformation campaign about mRNA vaccines through their 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛).

One of the fake stories they have been spreading is how mRNA vaccines create spike proteins that “leak” or go into our organs, or all over our bodies.

The truth is the spike proteins created by the mRNA vaccines do not leak anywhere. The spike proteins are produced by a limited number of cells that received those mRNA instructions, and they are displayed on the cell surface for our immune system to see.

Once the immune system sees those spike proteins on the cell surfaces, it recognises them as “foreign”, and produces antibodies to bind to those spike proteins.

These spike proteins remain on the cell surface. Eventually, our body’s phagocytes will consume these cells, because they have been identified as “foreign”. So there are none to float around like balloons…

Fact #4 : mRNA Vaccines Do Not Harm Our Immune System

mRNA vaccines do not harm our immune system. Despite what the Chinese wumao keep saying, mRNA vaccines work just like other vaccines.

All COVID-19 vaccines – mRNA or otherwise – are like training camps for our immune system. They mimic the SARS-CoV-2 virus, like “fake enemy soldiers”.

By pretending to be the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the vaccines let your own immune system learn to identify the real virus, and create antibodies to block it.

I want to be very clear – all COVID-19 vaccines – mRNA or otherwise – do not harm your immune system. They only enhance your immune system.

Fact #5 : Vaccines Do Not Stay In Our Body

Vaccines – mRNA or otherwise – do not stay in our body. If they did, we would have lifelong immunity, and we wouldn’t need booster doses!

Most of the vaccines spike proteins vaccine will be gone within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.

Fact #6 : Booster Doses Are Refresher Classes For Your Immune System

Unfortunately, antibody levels will naturally drop over time, which is why we need booster doses to trigger our immune system to produce more antibodies.

Booster doses work like refresher classes in college. Every time you receive a booster dose, it reminds your immune system that the virus is still a threat.

This kickstarts the production of antibodies, boosting your protection against COVID-19.

Fact #7 : Vaccines Target Specific Diseases

All vaccines are designed to target a specific disease. They cannot prevent other diseases.

COVID-19 vaccines can only help your immune system fight off the SARS-CoV-2 virus. They cannot prevent shingles, tuberculosis, cancer or monkeypox.

Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 means you are protected from severe disease and deaths from COVID-19, not from all the ills in this world.

Fact #8 : mRNA Vaccines Do Not Cause Shingles, TB, Cancer Or Monkeypox

Just to be very clear – COVID-19 vaccines based on mRNA technology do not cause shingles, tuberculosis, cancer or monkeypox.

Fact #9 : Shingles, Tuberculosis Or Monkeypox Are Not Hereditary

Shingles, tuberculosis and monkeypox are not hereditary diseases. You are not born with these diseases.

Shingles (herpes zoster) is caused by a previous chickenpox infection from the varicella zoster virus (VZV). People vaccinated against chickenpox will not suffer from shingles.

Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It can be prevented by getting the BCG (Bacillus Calmette–Guérin) vaccine.

Monkeypox is a viral infection caused by the monkeypox virus. It can be prevented using the smallpox vaccine.

Fact #10 : China Is Developing mRNA Vaccines Too

This is for those who keep getting anti-mRNA posts like these from pro-CCP netizens.

Even though the Chinese wumao keeps disparaging mRNA vaccines, China has actually been trying to develop its own mRNA vaccine called ARCoVax.

Unfortunately, it has not been able to clear Phase 3 trials, which is why China is stuck using Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, which have poor efficacy.

The truth is – mRNA vaccines are the future, allowing for very specific targeting of certain proteins, as opposed to a shotgun approach. They also allow for faster adaptation to changes in the proteins.

As Zhuang Shilihe, a Guangzhou-based immunological expert told Global Times, “grasping mRNA technology is very important for China, not only to control the COVID pandemic but as treatment in cancer and rare diseases“.

This is partly why China was pushing hard for a WTO patent waiver on vaccines. They need to get access to mRNA technology used by Pfizer and Moderna to improve their own mRNA vaccines.

You can be certain that when China finally succeeds in producing its own mRNA vaccines, the wumao propaganda machine will change its tune.

Antivaxxers are suggesting that comedian and actor Louie Anderson died from heart complications brought on by his COVID-19 vaccine booster dose!

Louie Anderson was a passenger on my cousin’s flight 2 days ago.. He was flying to appear on Conan.. He was an extremely friendly man and spoke with her most of the flight…

They talked about his cancer and shared with her how he’s been in remission 5 years now.. half way through the flight he started complaining about his heart.. he was swearing and pale and the staff became very worried.. he received medical treatment shortly after he landed..

He also spoke about the vaccine and how Mr. Anderson received his 3 vaccine a few weeks ago.

To make that claim more credible, they often include a link to an article about Louie Anderson’s death.

Truth : Louie Anderson Died From Cancer, Not Booster Dose!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by antivaxxers to scare people from protecting themselves with the COVID-19 vaccines.

Like Betty White, Bob Saget and Meat Loaf, there is NO EVIDENCE that Louie Anderson died from the COVID-19 booster dose, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : No Evidence Louie Anderson Died From COVID-19 Vaccine

While antivaxxers are suggesting that Louie Anderson died from the COVID-19 vaccine, they offer absolutely NO EVIDENCE for their claim.

The articles they shared as “evidence” do not mention that Louie died from the booster dose. They only added those article links to mislead you into thinking that they are evidence that he died from the booster dose.

After all, most people don’t bother to click on the links to actually read the articles. That’s the same reason some people believe that Meat Loaf, Bob Saget and Betty White died from their COVID-19 booster shots…

Fact #2 : Louie Anderson Died From Cancer Complications

The truth is – Louie Anderson died from complications related to his cancer on Friday, 21 January 2022.

This was confirmed by his longtime publicist, Glenn Schwartz, who told reporters that Anderson died died to complications of diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

He did not die from COVID-19, or the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose.

Fact #3 : His Publicist Refuted The Claim

When Politifact asked his publicist, Glenn Schwartz, about this claim, he replied – “Not true“.

Fact #4 : Louie Anderson Was Hospitalised For 4 Days

Louie Anderson was hospitalised in Las Vegas from 18 January until he died on 21 January 2022.

So the story most definitely lied about Louie Anderson flying to tape a show with Conan two days ago.

Hours before he died, fellow comedian Pauly Shore visited him to say his goodbyes :

Fact #5 : Conan Ended In June 2021!

Conan O’Brien ended his eponymous late night show on 24 June 2021, after 28 years on the air.

The US FDA only authorised the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 booster dose for immunocompromised people like Louie Anderson on 12 August 2021.

Therefore, it was not possible for Anderson to receive a booster dose a few weeks before flying to tape the Conan show.

Fact #6 : Anderson Last Appeared On Conan In March 2021

Louie Anderson last appeared on Conan on 16 March 2021, but that was a remote appearance from Henderson, Nevada.

That was more than 6 months before the US FDA authorised the first booster dose on 22 September 2021.

So Anderson could not possibly have received a booster dose before doing a remote show on Conan.

In fact, in that show, he told Conan that he just received his second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, joking about it.

Conan : You got vaccinated?

Anderson : I just got my second shot and, God, just right after I got it, maybe an hour, I started getting nauseated, I was feeling sick, I called the doctor going, ‘Can it happen that fast?’ and then I went, ‘Oh, wait — I did stop and get White Castle on the way home.’

Fact #7 : Anderson Had A Heart Problem

In addition to battling diffuse large B cell lymphoma, Louie Anderson also had an unspecified heart problem.

In 2003, he was hospitalised and underwent two procedures to correct that heart problem – allegedly a double-bypass surgery.

Therefore, it would ridiculous to pin any heart problems on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fact #8 : COVID-19 Booster Dose Proven Safe + Effective

The COVID-19 booster dose is nothing more than a third dose of existing COVID-19 vaccines – all of which have undergone not only massive clinical trials, but also post-approval monitoring.

They have been proven to be safe and effective time and time again, and the booster dose is no different.

It is unknown if Anderson actually received a booster dose, but he had already had two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine without any adverse effect.

Therefore, it is highly unlikely that he would suddenly suffer an adverse effect from a booster dose.

This is yet another example of fake news by antivaxxers, to mislead you on the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Just look at how antivaxxers claimed that Betty White died from the booster dose, only for her death certificate to reveal that she died from a stroke!

Did they apologise? Correct themselves? Nope. They just moved on to the next celebrity death.

Truth : National Cancer Institute Offer Is Fake News!

The viral message has been going around since 2016, and is FAKE NEWS. Let’s take a look at the facts…

Fact #1 : National Cancer Institute Was Established In 2013

The National Cancer Institute began operations on 2 September 2013, providing world-class treatments and healthcare for cancer patients.

That ties in with the first circulation of this fake message around 2016, which claims that the hospital is less than 3 years old.

Fact #2 : National Cancer Institute Is A Public Hospital

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is a public hospital under the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM). Therefore, it is no surprise that it provides treatments at highly affordable rates.

However, it is misleading to refer people to the National Cancer Institute for free medication and cheap chemotherapy, because the NCI charges the SAME RATES as other KKM public hospitals!

Fact #3 : Charges Are All Wrong

As mentioned in Fact #3, the National Cancer Institute charges the same rates as other public hospitals.

The NCI website even refers patients to the Malaysia Ministry of Health’s page on hospital charges, which will show you that the fees mentioned are wrong :

Each chemotherapy treatment costs RM200 for First Class, RM100 for Second Class, and just RM50 for Third Class.
A private room with air-conditioning costs RM80 per day.
A private room without air-conditioning costs RM60 per day.
A twin-sharing room, without air-conditioning costs RM40 per day.

The prices mentioned above are accurate as of 29 October 2021.

Fact #4 : NCI Called The Post “Fabricated” And “Baseless”

The Director of the National Cancer Institute actually issued a press release on 18 August 2016, which labelled the post as “fabricated” and “baseless”.

National Cancer Institute (NCI) is concerned on the OFFER which was disseminated via social media since the past few months on NCI’s treatment charges which is also included the name of NCI Director, Dr Asmayani binti Khalib and NCI contact details.

NCI asserted that such OFFER is FABRICATED and BASELESS. Each treatment received by the patients varies as the attending officers make recommendation based on the patients’ needs. Information on treatment charge is available on NCI website: http://nci.moh.gov.my/.

Former US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, died on the morning of Monday, 18 October 2021, due to “complications from COVID-19”. His family also stated that he was “fully-vaccinated”.

General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from Covid 19. He was fully vaccinated. We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American.

Almost immediately, antivaxxers gleefully shared the news, pointing out that Colin Powell died from COVID-19 even though he was fully-vaccinated.

They believe that his death proves that the COVID-19 vaccines are useless… some even suggested he died because of the vaccine.

Why Fully-Vaccinated Colin Powell Died From COVID-19

It is distasteful for me to even get into this so soon after his death, but it has to be done.

So let’s take a look at WHY former US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, got infected with COVID-19 and died from it, even though he was fully-vaccinated.

Fact #1 : Elderly More Prone To Vaccine Breakthrough

Colin Powell was 84 years old when he got infected by COVID-19. His age puts him at significantly higher risk of hospitalisation and mortality, even if he’s fully-vaccinated.

That’s partly because the COVID-19 vaccine is NOT a shield, but a self-defence class that teaches our immune system how to identify the SARS-CoV-2 virus and make antibodies against it.

The immune system of elderly individuals do not respond to vaccines as robustly as younger adults. That’s why they experience more cases of vaccine breakthrough infections, hospitalisations and yes, deaths.

Fact #2 : Colin Powell Had Multiple Myeloma

Colin Powell survived prostate cancer, after undergoing surgery to remove the tumour in 2003.

And in 2019, General Powell revealed that he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, after sharing a fireside chat with Kathy Giusti at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation annual dinner.

Fact #3 : Multiple Myeloma Reduces Response To mRNA Vaccines

Even though General Powell was fully-vaccinated, he may not have been developed a good enough immune response due to multiple myeloma.

The Stampfer et. al study that was published in July 2021 showed that LESS THAN HALF of multiple myeloma patients responded adequately to mRNA vaccines :

only 45% of patients developed an adequate response
22% of patients only developed a partial response
lower antibody levels were seen with patients with older age, impaired renal function, etc.

They concluded that “most multiple myeloma patients have impaired responses to mRNA vaccination against COVID-19“.

Such immunocompromised individuals usually require a booster dose of the vaccine to develop an adequate immune response against COVID-19.

Fact #4 : Multiple Myeloma Weakens Immune System

Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells – a type of white blood cell that produces antibodies.

Untreated, the cancerous plasma cells (myeloma) produce abnormal antibodies that are not only useless, they build up in the body and damage the kidneys.

The multiple myelomas also multiply and overwhelm the normal plasma cells, reducing the amount of working antibodies.

That’s why multiple myeloma patients are at higher risk of developing infections.

Fact #5 : Multiple Myeloma Treatment Weakens Immune System

Ironically, the treatment for multiple myeloma often suppresses the immune system, leaving the patient more vulnerable to infections, including COVID-19.

Multiple myeloma patients like General Powell remain at significantly greater risk of infection, even while the treatment suppresses the cancerous cells and prolongs their lives.

Fact #6 : Colin Powell’s Death Emphasises Importance Of Herd Immunity

General Powell’s death is not proof that vaccines do not work. Instead, it emphasises the importance of herd immunity.

People who are immunocompromised like General Powell may not gain adequate protection even if fully-vaccinated. But they can be protected if transmission of COVID-19 is blocked by other vaccinated people in the community.

This herd immunity provides indirect protection, not just against vaccine breakthrough infections, but also for people who cannot be vaccinated yet – children, people with severe allergies, etc.

However, herd immunity is only achieved when a large majority – most scientists think about 80% – of the population is vaccinated against COVID-19.

Here is the takeaway lesson – we need to protect vulnerable members of our community by vaccinating enough people to achieve herd immunity.

So reach out to your family and friends who are still not vaccinated, and encourage them to get protected against COVID-19!

Claim : Kinder Joy Wax Coating Causes Cancer!

Several variations of this health alert about the wax coating of Kinder Joy causing cancer have been circulating since 2014. Here is one example :

“Kinder Joy contains wax coating which is also used in styrofoam containers. That is why Kinder Joy don’t stick to each other when eating it.

Our body needs up to two days to clean the wax. Make sure you stop eating Kinder Joy. This wax can cause CANCER. Share if you care.“

Kinder Joy : Does Its Wax Coating Cause Cancer?

Is there any truth to these claims? Let’s break down the claims to easily digestible portions, and find out what’s true and what’s false…

Claim #1 : Styrofoam containers use a wax coating
Verdict : False

Styrofoam, which is a type of polystyrene foam, is hydrophobic. That means it naturally repels water.

Styrofoam containers therefore do NOT require a wax coating. Only paper cups and food containers require a wax or polyethylene coating to make them waterproof.

Claim #2 : The same wax coating is used in Kinder Joy
Verdict : False

Since styrofoam containers do not use any wax coating, this claim is automatically FALSE.

But let’s just find out if wax is even used in Kinder Joy. Here is the list of ingredients used in Kinder Joy (in descending order of content) :

No wax, of any kind, is listed as an ingredient but it is possible that paraffin wax may be an unlisted additive.

Claim #3 : The wax coating prevents Kinder Joy from sticking to each other
Verdict : False

Paraffin wax, as well as other kinds of food-grade waxes, are commonly added to chocolates, candy, hard cheeses and baked goods to ensure that they remain solid at room temperature and/or to give them a shine.

Claim #4 : Our body needs up to two days to “clean the wax”
Verdict : False

Paraffin wax, as well as other kinds of food-grade waxes, are inert and indigestible.

That means whatever wax you consume will not be absorbed or change its form or chemistry.

It will just pass right through your gastrointestinal tract and get excreted in your poop.

Claim #5 : The wax coating causes cancer
Verdict : False

Food-grade waxes have been used as food preservatives and additives for thousands of years.

The most likely target of this warning is paraffin wax, which is commonly sold as baker’s wax or canning wax and have been used as a food additive since the 1930s.

There is one way paraffin wax can potentially cause cancer, but it’s not by ingestion.

A South Carolina State University experiment showed that burning paraffin wax candles for 5-6 hours in an enclosed space can produce significant amounts of harmful and potentially carcinogenic chemicals, including formaldehyde.

Verdict : Kinder Joy Cancer Claim Is 100% FALSE!

In conclusion, Kinder Joy does not have a wax coating. And food-grade waxes of any kind do not cause cancer.

In fact, we would like to point out that many natural health stores and “experts” are advocating the use of natural waxes, as opposed to “chemicals” in baking, etc.

This warning is yet another of many fake warnings about “dangerous additives” in our food circulating on the Internet.

It preys on our fear of the unknown additives in processed food. As they say – you only fear what you don’t know.

No, Larry King Did NOT Die From COVID-19

As much as we admire the effectiveness of the message in reminding people to wear a face mask to protect themselves against COVID-19, Larry King did not die from COVID-19.

That said, please WEAR A FACE MASK, distance yourself from other people in public, and practice good hand hygiene, to protect yourself against COVID-19!

Here are the facts about what Larry King went through in life, and his death.

Fact #1 : Larry King Had Lung + Prostate Cancers

In 1999, Larry King was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and was successfully treated for it.

Then in 2017, he had surgery to remove a lump in his lung, that turned out to be malignant.

Fact #2 : Larry King Had One Known Heart Attack

Larry King had a heart attack in 1987, which led to a quintuple heart-bypass surgery.

This was followed by an angioplasty in 1997 for a clogged heart vessel. Ten years later, he had angioplasty and stents inserted.

Fact #3 : Larry King Survived A Stroke

In March 2019, he suffered a stroke and was in coma for weeks. He survived that, but lost some function in his left foot.

Fact #4 : Larry King Had 7 Wives In 8 Marriages

Larry King was actually married eight times, to seven different women.

Fact #5 : Larry King Had COVID-19 But Died Of Sepsis

Larry King was hospitalised for COVID-19 in December 2020, and died on 23 January 2021.

However, his ex-wife Shawn Southwick (whom he divorced in 2019) said that he recovered from COVID-19, but died of sepsis as a complication.

It can be argued though that if he didn’t contract COVID-19, he wouldn’t have suffered from sepsis during his recovery…

That Dragon Cancer Game Proceeds To Go To Charities

IRVINE, Calif. – Razer™, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced that all Razer’s proceeds from the sale of the game That Dragon, Cancer via Razer Cortex for Android TV will go to two cancer charities, Morgan Adams Foundation, which directly funds cancer research through working with physicians, and Family House SF, which provides free housing to families visiting hospitals in San Francisco to undergo prolonged clinical trials and treatment. The two organizations were selected due to their importance to the Green family.

That Dragon, Cancer is an immersive, narrative videogame that retells Joel Green’s 4-year fight against cancer through about two hours of poetic, imaginative gameplay that explores themes of faith, hope, and love. Using simple point-and-click interaction, the player is invited to slow down and immerse themselves in a deeply personal memoir featuring audio taken from Green family home videos, spoken word poetry, and in-game tributes to the loved ones of over 200 Kickstarter backers.

Joel Green was diagnosed with AT/RT brain cancer at twelve months old and was given a terminal diagnosis shortly before age two. Though initially given only a short time to live, Joel continued to survive for four more years before eventually succumbing to the cancer on March 13, 2014.

[adrotate banner=”4″]Developed by Joel’s parents Ryan and Amy Green, partner Josh Larson, and the rest of the Numinous Games studio, That Dragon, Cancer was largely funded by OUYA, which was acquired by Razer in July 2015 and now provides content for Android TV games via Razer’s Forge TV micro console. Upon its release, That Dragon, Cancer will mark OUYA’s first step into multi-platform game publishing as a promotional partner with Numinous Games for Forge TV as well as on Windows and Mac OS.

“When we first acquired OUYA, it was with the vision of bringing Android gaming to the living room,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “By doing that, we now have the opportunity to give back to the community in a big way, by bringing this game to the public and by making sure all our proceeds go right back into the fight against cancer.”

In celebration of the game’s launch, Numinous Games is encouraging supporters to host a pancake party for friends and family – pancakes were Joel’s favorite food – and post pictures to social media channels with the hashtag #thatdragoncancer. To show its solidarity with the developers, Razer will be hosting a “Pancakes for Lunch” party at its offices around the world and supporting other community parties with giveaways.
