Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Just Die Of Heart Attack?!

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Just Die Of Heart Attack?!

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger just die in the hospital from a heart attack?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Arnold Schwarzenegger Just Died From Heart Attack!

People are sharing YouTube and TikTok videos claiming that Arnold Schwarzenegger just died in a hospital after a heart attack, with titles like :

Truth : Arnold Schwarzenegger Did Not Die From Heart Attack!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by people to generate income from page views and YouTube advertising, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Still Alive + Well!

Arnold Schwarzenegger (born Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger on 30 March, 1968) is very much still alive, as of Thursday, 4 May 2023!

That was when he posted a video trailer for an interview he did with Chef Jose Andres. In that video , you can see that Arnold is still very much alive. On the same day, he also posted multiple tweets on his official Twitter account.

These personal and public posts appear days and weeks after people started claiming that Arnold Schwarzenegger died from a heart attack!

The day before that, his son-in-law, Chris Pratt, spoke at the IPIC Theatre Fulton Market in New York City, about his relationships with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold’s support means the world to me on a couple different levels. Just being his son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support.

But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator. So him to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing.

Obviously, Chris Pratt would not be gushing about his father-in-law if he had actually died in hospital from a heart attack! In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger just congratulated him on his movie, Guards of the Galaxy Vol. 2!

I saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night and WOW. @prattprattpratt, you crushed it. A non-stop, perfect mix of comedy and action. I loved it and I’m very, very proud of you.

Fact #2 : No Legitimate Media Outlet Reported His Death

These YouTube and TikTok videos have been circulating for weeks and months, but people don’t seem to notice that no legitimate media has reported his death or heart attack!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not only a Hollywood legend, he served as the 38th governor of California for 8 years! Everything he does, no matter how small, is covered in detail by the media and celebrity blogs.

When “the Governator” got fed up and fixed a neighbourhood pothole with his team, it even became international news! So if he actually suffered a heart attack, it would have been covered by legitimate news media.

Yet, no legitimate media outlet or even a celebrity blog reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger suffered a heart attack recently, much less died in a hospital. That’s because it never happened!

Fact #3 : Viral Photo Was From 2020 Heart Surgery

The viral photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger clutching a red heart-shaped pillow while unconscious on a hospital bed is real, but it was taken from his 2020 heart surgery.

On April 16, 1997, Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent elective heart surgery to replace a defective, congenital aortic heart valve. He chose to get a tissue valve, as he felt that a mechanical valve might limit his capacity to exercise.

On March 30, 2018, Arnold Schwarzenegger had his pulmonary valve replaced at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

On Friday, 23 October 2023, Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent a third heart valve procedure at the Cleveland Clinic to replace his aortic valve. That was when the viral photo was taken.

That operation was successful of course, because Arnold is not only alive today, he posted a photo of himself with a thumbs-up on social media!

Thanks to the team at the Cleveland Clinic, I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery.

I feel fantastic and have already been walking the streets of Cleveland enjoying your amazing statues.  Thank you to every doc and nurse on my team.

Fact #4 : Arnold Schwarzenegger Death Hoax Is Driven By Fake Fact Check Too

This Arnold Schwarzenegger death hoax is, ironically, also being driven by a fake fact check article by the MediaMass Project, which keeps “updating” the dates in their fake fact check article:

News of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the May 2023 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the actor best known for his roles in Total Recall or The Terminator is alive and well.

Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Wednesday after a ‘R.I.P. Arnold Schwarzenegger’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the American actor’s passing:

Their claim of a viral R.I.P. Arnold Schwarzenegger Facebook page is false. There is no such Facebook page. It is their standard fake fact check spiel for fake celebrity deaths.

The statement from Arnold’s unnamed rep confirming that he is not dead is exactly the same as statements from other celebrities whose reps MediaMass claimed were victims of death hoaxes, like Celine Dion, Cristiano Ronaldo, Justin Bieber, Simon Cowell, Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Hanks, Dolly Parton, Lucy Liu, and Melanie Laurent.

He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.

Hidden in the description page for the MediaMass Project is a disclaimer that they are a “satire” website. That’s the usual “cover” for websites peddling fake news.

Regardless of their reasons, anything posted by MediaMass.net must be considered as fake news, until proven otherwise.

Truth : Sylvester Stallone Did Not Died Suddenly Anywhere!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by people to generate income from page views and YouTube advertising, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Sylvester Stallone Is Still Alive + Well!

Hollywood legend, Sylvester Stallone (born Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone on July 6, 1946), is still very much alive and well, as of 11 April 2023.

We know that because he has been actively posting on his official Instagram account in recent days:

  • 11 April : #TheFamilyStallone premieres May 17, streaming exclusively on @paramountplus
  • 11 April : Think Apollo should have stayed Alive?
  • 11 April : Look who’s coming to Dinner !Buster and Angry Mabel

The release of his reality show trailer on 11 April 2023 also came days, weeks, and months after these fake YouTube videos claimed that he died in a hospital, at home, or even on the street!

Fact #2 : No Legitimate Media Outlet Reported His Death

These YouTube videos have been circulating for weeks and months, but people don’t seem to notice that no legitimate media has reported his death.

Sylvester Stallone is a Hollywood icon, starring in the Rocky and Rambo movies, as well as more recently, The Expendables movies.

No legitimate media outlet reported that Sylvester Stallone was sick, much less died suddenly in a hospital!

If Sylvester Stallone did indeed die, the worldwide media would have reported on his death. Yet, no one but small YouTube and TikTok channels picked up on his tragic death? That’s because it never happened.

Fact #3 : The Photos Were Edited

The photos used in these videos were edited from real photos, with some celebrities added in to make it look genuine. In this example, the fake news creator added Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.

The actual photo is of the February 2019 funeral of Argentinian footballer, Emiliano Sala, who died in a plane crash off Alderney on 21 January 2019.

The photo was taken by Associated Press, and shows Nantes defender Nicolas Pallois and Emiliano Sala’s brother, Dario, helping to carry his coffin at his funeral on 19 February 2019.

Even when it comes to the really good photo-editing efforts, there are still some clues to show you that these were edited images.

In this example, you can see that Sylvester Stallone’s chin appeared to be cut out. More damning is pillow which has a Queensland Health logo on it.

Unless Sylvester Stallone happened to be filming in Queensland, Australia; there is no way he would end up being treated in its hospital!

Fact #4 : Sylvester Stallone Death Hoax Is Driven By Fake Fact Check Too

This Sylvester Stallone death hoax is, ironically, also being driven by a fact check article by the MediaMass Project.

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Sleep In Front Of His Statue?!

Was Arnold Schwarzenegger once forced to sleep in front of his own statue, after being rejected by a hotel?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Arnold Schwarzenegger Had To Sleep In Front Of His Statue!

People are sharing a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger sleeping in front of his own statue, together with this life lesson :

Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a photo of himself sleeping on the street under his famous bronze statue, and sadly wrote “How times have changed*

The reason he wrote the phrase was not only because he was old, but because when he was governor of California he inaugurated a hotel with his statue. Hotel staff told Arnold, “at any moment you can come and have a room reserved for you.” When Arnold stepped down as governor and went to the hotel, the administration refused to give him a room arguing that he should pay for it since they were in great demand.

He brought a sleeping bag and stood underneath the statue and explained what he wanted to convey: “When I was in an important position, they always complimented me, and when I lost this position, they forgot about me and did not keep their promise. Do not trust your position or the amount of money you have, nor your power, nor your intelligence, it will not last. “

Trying to teach everyone that when you’re “Important” in the people’s eyes, everyone is your “Friend ” But once you don’t benefit their interests, you won’t matter.

* You are not always who you think you will always be, nothing lasts forever”

Truth : Arnold Schwarzenegger Did Not Sleep In Front Of His Statue!

This is yet another example of celebrity FAKE NEWS, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : The Picture Is Genuine

First, let me confirm that the picture is genuine.

In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger posted it on his own Instagram account and Facebook page on 15 January, 2016.

Fact #2 : He Did Not Sleep In Front Of His Statue

To be clear – Arnold only posed for the shot. He did not actually sleep in front of his own statue.

Fact #3 : He Was Filming A Movie At That Time

Arnold took that picture while he was in Columbus filming the movie, Aftermath (known at that time as 478).

He allegedly requested that the movie be shot in Columbus, because of his long love for the city.

More to the point – he would have been provided with accommodation while he was filming. He wouldn’t have needed to “comp” a hotel room…

Fact #4 : Most Of The Quotes Were Made Up

Arnold’s picture was only accompanied by this comment – “How times have changed.“. Nothing else.

The other quotes about being rejected by a hotel for losing his important position were made up.

Fact #5 : The Picture Was Not Taken Outside Any Hotel

Arnold took the picture in front of the Greater Columbus Convention Centre in Ohio. Not in front of any hotel, as the fake story claimed.

The 8 foot-tall statue was first erected outside the Franklin County Veterans Memorial on March 2, 2012, and moved to the Greater Columbus Convention Centre on October 6, 2014.

At the 2014 rededication of his statue, then-Mayor Michael B. Coleman told Schwarzenegger, “We want to memorialize that forever in front of our convention center.

Fact #6 : He Did Not Inaugurate Any Hotel With His Statue

Arnold Schwarzenegger did not inaugurate any new hotel with his own statue. Why on Earth would anyone do that? It doesn’t even make sense.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was honoured with that statue to commemorate his commitment to Columbus, Ohio, where the Arnold Sports Festival is held every year.

Fact #7 : Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Rich

It is hilarious that so many people actually believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be so hard up for a free hotel room.

He is wealthy, with a net worth estimated to be between $300 million to $400 million.

Fact #8 : He Stepped Down As Governor In 2011

Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor of California for two terms – from November 17, 2003 until January 3, 2011.

In other words, he stepped down as governor 14 months before his status was erected in 2012! The fake story’s chronology is complete nonsense.

Fact #9 : Fake Story Has Been Circulating Since January 2018

This fake story appears to be created around January 2018, when it first went viral.

Since then, it has periodically gone viral over the years on social media – Twitter and Facebook, as well as on WhatsApp.
