Acer Swift 3 : New December 2020 Model!

The Acer Swift 3 is a 14-inch laptop designed for the young, and comes in three colour options – Blue, Pink and Silver.

It has a 14-inch slim bezel IPS LED display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, in a chassis that is just under 16 mm thick, and weighs just 1.2 kg.

Built around the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, it comes with up to 16 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory, and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

The new December 2020 Acer Swift 3 model has a rated battery life of 11 hours, and supports fast charging to give you 4 hours of video playback with a 30-minute charge.

In addition, the December 2020 model of Acer Swift 3 comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.

 

Acer Swift 3X : New December 2020 Model!

The Acer Swift 3X is a 14-inch laptop designed for both games and creative apps, with its new Iris Xe Max discrete graphics.

It has a 14-inch slim bezel IPS LED display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, in a chassis that is just under 18 mm thick, and weighs just 1.37 kg.

Built around the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics, it comes with up to 16 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory, and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

The new December 2020 Acer Swift 3 model has a rated battery life of 17 hours, and supports fast charging to give you 4 hours of video playback with a 30-minute charge.

In addition, the Acer Swift 3X comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.

 

Acer Swift 5 : New December 2020 Model!

The Acer Swift 5 is a 14-inch ultra-light Intel Evo-certified laptop, that is just under 15 mm thick, and weighs only 1.05 kg!

It has a 14-inch IPS LED touch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and 100% sRGB colour gamut. This touch display is protected by Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass.

Built around the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, it comes with up to 16 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory, and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

The new December 2020 Acer Swift 5 model has a rated battery life of 15 hours, and supports fast charging to give you 4 hours of video playback with a 30-minute charge.

In addition, the December 2020 model of Acer Swift 5 comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.

 

Acer Aspire 5 : New December 2020 Model!

The December 2020 Acer Aspire 5 comes in 14-inch or 15.6-inch display options, with an all-metal chassis.

The 14-inch Aspire 5 is 15.6 mm thick, and weighs 1.45 kg; while the 15.6-inch Aspire 5 is 17.9 mm thick and weighs just 1.65 kg.

Built around the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, they both with up to 16 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory (upgradable to 20 GB), and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

Acer also offers an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 discrete graphics option for both models.

Both 14-inch and 15-inch models have a rated battery life of 13 hours, and supports fast charging to give you 4 hours of video playback with a 30-minute charge.

In addition, they both come pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.

 

Acer TravelMate P2 : New December 2020 Model!

The Acer TravelMate P2 is a rugged laptop designed for business executives, with handy business features and advanced connectivity options.

Built to comply with MIL-STD-810G standards, the Travelmate P2 has a spill-resistant keyboard, and shock-absorbent corners to survive bumps and drops.

It also comes with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 protection, a fingerprint reader and Windows Hello for secure authentication, to safeguard sensitive data while working away from the office.

Built around the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor, and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, it comes with up to 32 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory, and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage or a 1 TB hard disk drive.

The new December 2020 Acer TravelMate P2 model has a rated battery life of 13 hours, and supports fast charging to give you 4 hours of video playback with a 30-minute charge.

At the launch of Acer Day 2019, Acer unveiled the 2019 Acer Aspire 5 laptops, which have been refreshed with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, and new Intel Core processor options.

The 2019 Acer Aspire 3 / 5 Laptops

The 2019 Acer Aspire 3 and Aspire 5 laptops are designed for mainstream users, at very affordable price points.

Let’s start with a product presentation by Jeffrey Lai, Acer Malaysia’s Senior Product Manager.

 

The 2019 Acer Aspire 5

Like its predecessor, the 2019 Acer Aspire 5 has a 14-inch IPS display, with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. However, it is now 10% smaller and 16.7% lighter!

Thanks to an aluminium top cover, it offers a premium look and feel in a thin chassis that weighs just 1.45 kg. It also comes with a backlit keyboard, which allows you to work even in dimly-lit conditions.

Acer is initially releasing four different 2019 Aspire 5 models, three powered by the Intel Core i5-8265U processor, and one powered by the Intel Core i7-8565U processor.

The 2019 Aspire 5 is available with an Intel Core i7 processor (A514-52G-72WC) with immediate effect for RM 3,099 / ~US$746 / ~£615 / ~A$1,098.

The Core i5 models (A514-52G-586W, A514-52G-58D7, A514-52G-58NY) are priced at RM 2,499 / ~US$601 / ~£496 / ~A$855, and will be available by the end of August 2019.

The Core i3 model, price yet unknown, will also be available at the end of August as well.

The Core i5 and Core i3 models will be available in Pure Silver, Indigo Blue and Charcoal Black colours.

The Acer Day 2019 Launch Event

The Acer Day 2019 campaign actually lasts from 29 July until 30 September 2019. However, they officially launched Acer Day 2019 today at Mid Valley Megamall, with a roadshow over the weekend.

The Core i5 model is priced at RM 2,499 / ~US$601 / ~£496 / ~A$855, and will be available by the end of August 2019. The Core i3 model, price yet unknown, will also be available at the end of August as well.

The 2019 Acer Aspire 3 has a 15.6-inch Full HD display, and retails for RM 2,399 / ~US$577 / ~£476 / ~A$850 with immediate availability.

Acer PM161Q Portable Monitor

The Acer PM161Q is a portable 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Designed to fit snugly in a laptop bag, it has a side profile of only 2 cm, and weighs just 950 grams.

More importantly, it is designed to be powered by a single USB Type C cable, which makes it extremely useful as a portable second display for a smartphone or ultra-portable laptop.

The Acer PM161Q comes with a protective sleeve and 3-years on-site warranty, and is priced at RM 599 / ~US$144 / ~£119 / ~A$212 , with availability in September 2019.
