Did US Intentionally Release COVID Virus In Wuhan?!

Did the US government intentionally release the COVID-19 virus in Wuhan, to trigger a global pandemic so that people will accept vaccines?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : US Intentionally Released COVID Virus In Wuhan!

People are sharing an article by The Standard newspaper in Hong Kong, in which David Martin claimed that the US government intentionally released the COVID-19 virus in Wuhan, to trigger a global pandemic so that people will accept vaccines!

The article is being shared not only by anti-vaccination activists and conspiracy theorists, but also pro-CCP netizens and the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛) as “evidence” that the COVID-19 pandemic was caused by the United States, and not China.

Here is an excerpt from the article. It’s long, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

US ‘intentionally released Covid virus in Wuhan’ EU summit told

The Covid-19 coronavirus was “intentionally released” by the United States in Wuhan, China, with the target to trigger a global pandemic to raise public acceptance of vaccines, a US businessman specializing in patent auditing said.

David Martin, the founding chairman of M Cam asset management company, said at an International Covid Summit organized by the European Parliament in Brussels earlier this month that the US was responsible for the making of both coronaviruses causing the outbreaks of severe acute respiratory syndrome – or SARS – in 2003 and the Covid-19 pandemic in the past three years.

Recommended : Why International COVID Summit III Criticised Vaccine!

Truth : US Did Not Release COVID-19 Virus In Wuhan!

This appears to be yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp and social media platforms like TikTok and Twitter, and here are the reasons why!

Fact #1 : International COVID Summit III Was Not Organised By EU Parliament

The article wrongly states that the International COVID Summit III was organised by the European Parliament.

As I explained in my previous article, the International COVID Summit III was not an official EU Parliament event. It appears to be a private conference organised by COVID-19 conspiracy theorists and anti-vaccination activists.

Held in the Anna Lindh room of the European Parliament, it was not an official EU or European Parliament event, and only 5 MEPs attended as “co-hosting members” of the event.

In other words – the speakers at this event was only “testifying” to the few attendees in the room, and to the event’s livestream, not to the European Parliament.

You can read all about the ICS3 in my earlier article, Why International COVID Summit III Criticised Vaccine!

Fact #2 : This Was The First International COVID Summit

The article also wrongly called it the “third edition of the summit”. The first International COVID Summit, and International COVID Summit 2 do not appear to exist!

What actually existed were the Global COVID-19 Summit, and the 2nd Global COVID-19 Summit, but they are both completely unrelated to this International COVID Summit III. Those were official events involving heads of states and governments, as well as heads of international organisations, NGOs, and industries across the world.

So why would this International COVID Summit jump to its “third” iteration, when this was really the first time it was held? Could it be trying to mislead people into thinking that it was the third version of the Global COVID-19 Summit?!

Fact #3 : Coronavirus Was First Isolated In 1930s

David Martin said that the first coronavirus as a model of a pathogen was isolated in 1965. Well, I have no idea what he meant by “as a model of a pathogen”, but that’s wrong on several counts.

  • first coronavirus sample (IBV) was isolated in 1930s
  • second coronavirus sample (MHV) was isolated in 1947
  • third coronavirus sample (B814) was isolated in 1961
  • fourth coronavirus sample (229-E) was isolated in 1966
  • all four virus samples were determined to be from same group, and named “coronavirus” in 1967

You can read more about this in my earlier article – Did US + UK Create COVID-19 As Bioweapon?!

Fact #4 : Vaccines Work Even When Virus Mutates

All viruses can mutate when they replicate, just like how all animals evolve through reproduction. Just because a virus mutates does not mean that vaccines stop working.

Vaccines are training programs that teach our immune system how to identify the actual virus, and make its own antibodies against it. It’s like training your army by showing them how the enemy soldiers look like and behave, so they can train and prepare for war.

The vaccines do not stay in your body to fight the COVID-19 virus. They only teach your immune system how to do that, and they do that regardless of whether the virus has mutated or not.

As viruses evolve, they may get better at evading the antibodies that your immune system developed to defeat them. But that doesn’t mean they are immune. The antibodies may not be as effective, but they will still offer some protection, reducing the risk of severe disease and death.

This isn’t just theory. During the pandemic, the first vaccines only targeted the original SARS-CoV-2 virus. But it continued to offer robust protection against the Beta, Delta, and Omicron variants that came after.

Fact #5 : No Evidence US Released COVID-19 Virus In Wuhan

Claims that the US released the COVID-19 in Wuhan to create the pandemic has been circulating since 2020, but until today – there has been ZERO EVIDENCE of that.

Pro-CCP netizens and the Chinese 50 Cent Army (wumao, 五毛) accused US soldiers like Maatje Benassi of spreading the COVID-19 virus while participating in the 2019 Military World Games. They even spread a fake video (see below), claiming to show an American soldier spreading the COVID-19 virus in a subway in Wuhan.

However, all of those claims have long been proven to be completely false. More importantly, David Martin himself did not offer any actual evidence that the US released the COVID-19 virus, intentionally or otherwise, in Wuhan.

Recommended : Was COVID-19 Created In Fort Detrick Bio Lab?

Fact #6 : Most COVID-19 Vaccines Developed By Foreign Companies

The claim that the US government would create a pandemic to drive demand for vaccines is ludicrous. For one thing – big pharmaceutical companies are public-listed companies, and many are based outside of the United States.

More importantly – most COVID-19 vaccines were developed by foreign companies:

  • Only the Moderna Spikevax vaccine was developed in the United States
  • The Pfizer COMIRNATY vaccine was developed by German company, BioNTech
  • The AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was developed by Oxford University, and AstraZeneca is a UK company.
  • The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine was developed by Janssen Vaccines in the Netherlands.
  • The Sinovac, Sinopharm, CanSino COVID-19 vaccines were developed in China.

So the conspiracy theory that the United States created the COVID-19 pandemic for profit is absurd…

Fact #7 : Vaccines Are Cheaper Than Cures

I should also point out that prevention is always better and CHEAPER than the cure. Vaccines may seem expensive, and a way for Big Pharma to make billions of dollars. But vaccines are still better and CHEAPER than the cures.

Vaccines prevent you from developing severe COVID-19, thus negating your need to be hospitalised – which is expensive. Sure, Big Pharma now has drugs to treat COVID-19, like PAXLOVID, but they are much more expensive.

When it comes to dollars and common sense, vaccines are cheaper and better because they prevent hospitalisation. Big Pharma would make far more money selling you everything from expensive new drugs like PAXLOVID, or machines and drugs to keep you alive in the ICU!

Did Thailand Ban Pfizer Vaccine Over Princess’ Coma?!

Did Thailand ban the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine because it caused Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s coma?!

Take a look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Thailand Banned Pfizer Vaccine Over Princess’ Coma!

This message has gone viral on WhatsApp and social media, claiming that Thailand just banned the Pfizer vaccine because it caused Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s coma!

It’s a long post, so feel free to skip to the next section for the facts!

Thailand to BAN Pfizer After Thai Princess Falls Into A Coma Following Booster Jab

A Thai government spokesperson told Professor Sucharit Bhakdi this week that his country could soon become the first in the world to nullify and make void its contracts with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.

According to Bhakdi, the spokesperson said, in reference to the company’s experimental covid “vaccines,” that “we will see to it that Thailand is the first country in the world to declare this contract (with Pfizer) null.”

No Evidence Thailand Is Planning To Ban Pfizer Vaccine At All!

There is really NO EVIDENCE that Thailand has banned, or is planning to ban, the Pfizer vaccine because it caused Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s coma!

Fact #1 : Claims Likely Based On Edited Videos

The claims in the viral message appear to be based on two viral videos that were edited to remove some context. I confirmed that by watching and comparing both video clips to the full interview of Sucharit Bhakdi by Pascal Najadi.

It looks like the person who edited the videos wanted to remove references to the fact that Bhakdi was talking to Thai activists, not Thai officials. I covered both videos separately in these articles:

Fact #2 : No Evidence Bhakdi Spoke To Thai Government Officials

If you watch the full video or read the extended transcripts in the two articles above, you will realise that Sucharit Bhakdi did not actually claim to have met any Thai official, never mind advisors to the royal family.

He appeared to have only met Thai activists who claimed that they can “connect” him with the authorities.

Fact #3 : No Evidence Thai Officials Plan To Nullify Pfizer Contracts

There is also no evidence Thailand is actually planning to nullify the Pfizer vaccine contracts. In fact, Bhakdi himself called for people to “start a movement” to “file a case against Pfizer-BioNTech“.

That would not be necessary if the Thai government is already planning to nullify the Pfizer vaccine contracts.

And if we are able in Thailand to start a movement to say, file a case against Pfizer-BioNTech that they pay for the damage they have done, let’s make it.

Read more : Did Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha Collapse From Vaccine?!

Fact #4 : Use Of Pfizer Vaccine Minimal In Thailand

It is odd that Sucharit Bhakdi is so focused on the Pfizer vaccine when the Moderna vaccine uses a similar mRNA and lipid nanoparticle delivery technology.

In any case, the use of Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines in Thailand is minimal. This is partly because the mainstay of the Thai COVID-19 vaccination programme was the AstraZeneca vaccine, that was eventually manufactured by Siam Bioscience (owned by King Vajiralongkorn himself).

But due to supply issues, Thailand imported and used large amounts of the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine, and eventually the Sinopharm BIBP vaccine.

mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna only make up 5.7% of the COVID-19 vaccines delivered to the Thai government.

Vaccine Brand Doses Ordered Doses Delivered
Sinovac 31.1 million 26.52 million
AstraZeneca 61 million 25.5 million
Sinopharm 15 million 15 million
Pfizer 30 million 3.5 million
Moderna 13 million 560,200

Fact #6 : Unknown If Princess Bajrakitiyabha Was Vaccinated

Despite Sucharit Bhakdi’s claims that Princess Bajrakitiyabha received her third dose just 23 days before her collapse, I simply cannot find any evidence of that.

Neither Princess Bajrakitiyabha, nor the Thai royal family, or even the Thai government, has ever publicly revealed her vaccination status.

Perhaps Bhakdi is privy to her vaccination status, but he did not share any evidence to back up his claim, and I cannot corroborate his claim.

Unless and until the Thai royal family or government reveal her vaccination status, and what (if any) COVID-19 vaccine she received, it would be wrong for anyone to claim (without evidence) that she was injured by the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

Read more : Did Thailand Vow To Nullify Pfizer Vaccine Contracts?!

Fact #7 : Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s Cause of Collapse Still Unknown

It is interesting to note that the person who edited the viral video cut out the part where Sucharit Bhakdi claimed that Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s heart failed.

The truth is – the cause of her sudden collapse has not been publicly revealed, but the Thai palace released a statement on 19 December 2022, in which it stated that “no heart defect could be found“, dismissing earlier assessments that she suffered a cardiac event.

So while we still do not know why Princess Bajrakitiyabha suddenly collapsed (Thai royal expert Andrew MacGregor Marshall claims it was a hemorrhagic stroke), we have known since December 2022 that she did not have a “heart defect” of any kind.

Is Pfizer In Trouble Over Thai Princess Vaccine Injury?!

Is Pfizer in trouble in Thailand over Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s vaccine injury?!

Take a look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Pfizer In Trouble Over Thai Princess Vaccine Injury!

A video clip of Professor Sucharit Bhakdi has gone viral on Twitter, claiming that top Thai authorities are preparing to declare the Pfizer vaccine contracts null and void, purportedly over Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s vaccine injury!

Top Thai authorities including advisors to the King have been in discussions with Prof. Sucharit Bhakdi and are prepared to see to it that the Pfizer contracts are declared null and void!! The Royal Family has been alerted that the princess is most likely a victim of the jab!!

The Thai Princess who collapsed 23 days after her booster is still in a coma. The Royal Family have been alerted that the purported diagnosis of a bacterial infection is ‘ridiculous’ and that she is most likely the victim of the jab.

No Evidence Pfizer Is In Trouble Over Thai Princess In Coma!

There is really NO EVIDENCE that Pfizer is in any trouble over Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha being in coma after suddenly collapsing, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : The Video Was Edited To Remove Context

Like the first viral video clip, this video clip also appears to have been edited to remove some context.

Specifically, it appears to be edited to make Sucharit Bhakdi appear as if he talked to Thai officials, when he was actually referring to Thai activists!

Here are my rough transcripts from the second video clip, with the removed parts highlighted in bold.

Then I said, guys, something happened you know, in December, and that is that one daughter of the present king, Rama the 10th, collapsed and is in coma. She, within, I think it was 23 days after the third shot.

44 years old, never been seriously ill, collapsed and is now in a coma. And the diagnosis that was given by the authorities and by the university is so ridiculous. She’s supposed to have a bacterial infection that will never do what she’s suffering from.

And so, we determined… and the activists in Thailand who have been on this for many, many months now. Great guys, also a professor from the University of Bangkok.

He’s gotten in touch with the royal family, and we are sending information to the royal family, to alert them to the fact that in all probability, the princess is suffering as a victim of this jab, as so many people around the world have been suffering.

The part that was removed was short, but it was sufficient to remove the context that Bhakdi was not talking to Thai officials, who would have clearly known that their Crown Princess Bajrakitiyabha had been in coma since December 2022!

But more critically, the person who edited the video appears to intentionally leave out this very pertinent part right after the section above.

Why? Because Sucharit Bhakdi claimed that Princess Bajrakitiyabha suffered from a heart failure. As you will see in Fact #4, the Princess did not suffer from heart failure!

It’s cardiac. Her heart failed. Okay? Her heart failed, and because her heart failed, her brain did not get the oxygen, and she’s still in the intensive care department in Thailand now, after more than six weeks. So it’s very, very serious.

Right after that, Sucharit Bhakdi suggested that the Thais should try to “start a movement” to file a case against Pfizer-BioNTech. That is a clear indication he was talking to Thai activists, and not Thai officials.

And if we are able in Thailand to start a movement to say, file a case against Pfizer-BioNTech that they pay for the damage they have done, let’s make it.

Did Thailand Vow To Nullify Pfizer Vaccine Contracts?!

A video of Professor Sucharit Bhakdi has gone viral on Twitter, claiming that Thailand is preparing to declare the Pfizer vaccine contracts null and void!

No Evidence Thailand Vowed To Nullify Pfizer Vaccine Contracts!

There is really NO EVIDENCE that Thailand has vowed to be the first country in the world to declare the Pfizer vaccine contracts as null and void!

Fact #1 : The Video Was Edited To Remove Context

Like the second viral video, this video clip appears to be edited to remove some context. I confirmed that by watching and comparing the video clip to the full interview of Sucharit Bhakdi by Pascal Najadi.

It looks like the person who edited the video wanted to remove references to the fact that Bhakdi was talking to Thai activists and not Thai officials.

Here are my rough transcripts from the first video clip, with the removed parts highlighted in bold.

Let me tell you the wonderful thing that happened when we decided to go back to Thailand for a holiday, which was badly needed. This was the beginning of January this year. There are Thai activists in Thailand with whom we have been connected over the past year.

They said, if you come to Thailand… uh, I’m still a Thai by the way… I’m Thai-German… we will connect you with the authorities and advisors to the highest authorities in Thailand, and this is what happened.

So I have the opportunity, the first opportunity in three years, to talk to the top advisors of a government in any country.

And it was very, very impressive, because I laid out to them that this whole COVID-19 agenda is a fake, and why it is a fake, and I was able to lay out for them the proof that the COVID vaccinations were based on fraud.

The person who edited the video, also appears to be trying to scrub out the part where Bhakdi was referring to safety pharmacological studies in 2021 and 2022.

The EMA – European Medical Agencies – was asked again and again and again to reveal whether BioNTech Pfizer had ever performed any safety pharmacological study in 2021 and 2022, and the answer is available to us and to you.

The official answer submitted on the 18th of October of 2022. 18th of October, which we have at our disposal, the EMA declared officially that safety pharmacological studies were never performed. Never. And they were never deemed necessary. So now we have it.

It also appears that the first video was scrubbed to remove the part where Bhakdi stated that it was not the mRNA that was the problem, but the lipid packaging that protected it.

The person who edited the video also removed the part where Bhakdi said that the Thais were Googling information on the Pfizer-BioNTech contract. This would have alerted any viewer that Bhakdi was talking about Thai activists, and not Thai officials who would not need to Google such information.

[/su_note]

And when I told the Thais this, you know guys, they jumped up, they jumped up in the roof. And so they said Thailand is going to join Switzerland. Thailand is going to join Switzerland and show the world how to go, because the contract to buy millions of doses of that damn vaccine that is deadly, known to be deadly.

Not because of the mRNA, but just because of the lipids that are packaging the mRNA, that is enough to kill people. Not even the spike protein is necessary. You just have to take the packaging, and that it in itself is deadly. And that it in itself will cause anyone, will force anyone to say that nothing that is packaged in this deadly package can be safe. If the package itself is deadly, then you don’t have to ask what is in the package.

And then they said alright, and they were Googling and said, the contract was signed in Thailand with Pfizer-BioNTech and in this case, it was based on fraud because there were no safety studies and therefore, and it is now known that, this package is not safe. It is immaterial what is in in the package. It is not safe, because of the packaging.

And so they said to me – we will see to it that Thailand is the first country in the world that is going to declare this contract null, and nullify the contract. Which means that Pfizer BioNTech is going to have to pay back those billions to Thailand, with which Thailand will recompensate those peoples [sic] that have lost their existence.

Read more : Is Pfizer In Trouble Over Thai Princess Vaccine Injury?!

Fact #2 : No Evidence Bhakdi Spoke To Thai Officials

As mentioned above, the viral video clip appears to have been edited to remove references to Thai activists, likely to convey the perception that Sucharit Bhakdi was speaking to Thai officials.

If you watch the full video or read the extended transcript above, Sucharit Bhakdi does not actually claim to have met any Thai official, never mind advisors to the royal family. He appears to have only met Thai activists who claimed that they can “connect” him with the authorities.

Fact #3 : No Evidence Thai Officials Plan To Nullify Pfizer Contracts

The full video, and the extended transcript above, shows that Sucharit Bhakdi appears to have spoken only with Thai activists, not Thai officials.

Therefore, there is no evidence Thailand is actually planning to nullify the Pfizer vaccine contracts.

AstraZeneca 61 million 25.5 million
Sinopharm 15 million 15 million
Pfizer 30 million 3.5 million
Moderna 13 million 560,200

Fact #5 : Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Was Evaluated In 2020

I should also touch on the claim that the safety of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was never tested.

Pfizer actually conducted their Phase 1/2 trial in 2020, testing the first participants on May 5, 2020, and posting the first date on August 20, 2020. That was followed up by the large Phase 3 trial, whose study was peer-reviewed and published in the New England Medical Journal in December 2020.

In other words, safety studies were carried out on the Pfizer vaccine in 2020, but not in 2021 or 2022 because it was the same vaccine.

It appears that the the first viral video was edited to removed the part about the EMA being asked whether Pfizer performed the safety tests in 2021 and 2022,  to convey the false perception that Pfizer never conducted safety tests at all.

On Tuesday, 24 January 2023, Union sportive de Oued Amizour (Sports Union of Oued Amizour) played against M.C. Rouiba in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Stade de Reghaia (Reghaia Stadium).

A few minutes before the game ended, Ben Idir Mehenni who played for Oued Amizour collapsed on the field, and was rushed to the Reghaia hospital. Unfortunately, he could not be saved, and passed away.

Ben Idir Mehenni’s death was first announced by the Béjaia Radio, and confirmed by the Fédération Algérienne de Football in a Facebook post on Wednesday, 25 January 2023.

Le joueur a été victime d’un malaise quelques minutes à la fin de la rencontre et a été évacué en urgence à l’hôpital de Reghaia où il avait rendu l’âme quelques minutes après.

The player fell ill a few minutes after the match and was rushed to Reghaia hospital where he passed away a few minutes later.

Fact #2 : Ben Idir Mehenni’s Cause Of Death Is Still Unknown

While many people claimed that Ben Idir Mehenni died from a heart attack, there has been no official source for that claim.

Neither Béjaia Radio nor the Fédération Algérienne de Football said that Ben Idir Mehenni died from a heart attack.

While Ben Idir Mehenni may well indeed have died from a heart attack, he could also have died from a sudden cardiac arrest – another condition which commonly causes athletes to suddenly collapse and die.

In any case, until and unless there is official word from the hospital on his cause of death, or an autopsy report, it would be wrong for anyone to claim that Ben Idir Mehenni died from heart attack, the vaccine, or some other cause.

Fact #3 : Ben Idir Mehenni Was Likely Not Vaccinated Against COVID-19

It is unknown if Ben Idir Mehenni was ever vaccinated against COVID-19, so it would be wrong for anyone to claim that he died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

It is actually pretty likely that Ben Idir Mehenni was not vaccinated, as Algeria has a very low COVID-19 vaccination rate. Less than 15% of its population is fully-vaccinated, and less than 18% ever receive a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Unless he had earlier travelled overseas to play football, it is more than likely that Ben Idir Mehenni was never vaccinated against COVID-19.

Recommended : Young Athletes At High Risk Of Sudden Cardiac Arrest!

Fact #4 : No mRNA Vaccine Approved For Use In Algeria

While many people blame his death on mRNA vaccines, specifically the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, no mRNA vaccine has ever been approved for use in Algeria!

Only four COVID-19 vaccines have been approved for use in Algeria so far:

  • Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaxzevria : viral vector vaccine
  • Sinovac CoronaVac : inactivated virus vaccine
  • Sinopharm Covilo : inactivated virus vaccine
  • Gamaleya Sputnik V : viral vector vaccine

As you can see – it is really not possible for anyone in Algeria to die from an mRNA vaccine, because no mRNA vaccine is available in Algeria!

Fact #5 : Claims Of Athletes Injured By COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing athlete deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, claims of athlete deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance. Here is the latest dozen cases I fact checked recently.

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next athlete tragedy…

US Intel : Xi Jinping Won’t Accept Western Vaccines!

According to US intelligence, Chinese President Xi Jinping is still unwilling to accept Western vaccines to fight recent surges in COVID-19 infections!

US Intel : Xi Jinping Won’t Accept Western Vaccines!

Speaking at the annual Reagan National Defense Forum in California, US Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines said that Chinese President Xi Jinping is unwilling to accept Western vaccines despite the recent surges in COVID-19 infections.

[Xi Jinping] is unwilling to take a better vaccine from the West, and is instead relying on a vaccine in China that’s just not nearly as effective against Omicron.

Seeing protests and the response to it is countering the narrative that he likes to put forward, which is that China is so much more effective at government.

It’s, again, not something we see as being a threat to stability at this moment, or regime change or anything like that. How it develops will be important to Xi’s standing.

Avril Haines’ comments corroborate what US officials have said earlier. The White House said earlier in the week that China had not asked the United States for vaccines.

One US official also told Reuters there was “no expectation at present” that China would approve western vaccines.

It seems fairly far-fetched that China would greenlight western vaccines at this point. It’s a matter of national pride, and they’d have to swallow quite a bit of it if they went this route.

Recommended : Apple To Move MORE iPhone Production Out Of China!

China Relaxes Zero COVID, But Western Vaccines Are Critical!

The Chinese government recently relaxed some of its Zero COVID policies, lifting some lockdown measures and restrictions in major cities.

Chinese Vice Premiere Sun Chunlan also told health officials to take a “human-centred approach”, and called for China to enhance its “diagnosis, testing, treatment and quarantine” measures, while boosting vaccination rates especially for its senior citizens”.

However, if US intelligence is correct that President Xi Jinping refuses to accept Western vaccines, it will be difficult for China to open up without a significant number of its citizens being hospitalised or dying from COVID-19.

China has, so far, refused to approve any foreign COVID-19 vaccines, relying exclusively on its domestic vaccines, which have been far less efficacious from the start.

They are now even less effective against the highly-contagious Omicron variant, which would likely mean in many more cases of breakthrough infections.

Even worse – with so few infections in the past three years, there is less opportunity to boost immunity for Chinese citizens vaccinated with less efficacious vaccines from Sinovac and Sinopharm.

While many countries around the world have started opening up after achieving a reasonable amount of vaccinations coupled with infections, it will be very difficult (if not impossible) for China to do the same without introducing booster doses using more efficacious Western vaccines.

Santino Blanco : Why Face of AR Vaccine Effort Died

Santino Godoy Blanco – the 4 year-old face of Argentina’s child vaccination campaign tragically died.

Take a look at the viral claims, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : Santino Godoy Blanco Died From Vaccine Sudden Death!

Right after news broke that Santino Godoy Blanco fell sick and died, anti-vaccination activists immediately claimed that the poster boy for Argentina’s child vaccination campaign died from vaccine-induced sudden death (SADS / VIDS / VDS)!

Heartbreaking: Santino Blanco, the four-year-old boy who had been the face of #Argentina’s national #vaccination campaign #diedsuddenly this morning. This is #murder.

These parents have made this 💉 a religion and they are all willing to sacrifice their healthy children to pharma gods.  Shameful and disgusting.

A new slap from Israel to the COVID-19 vaccines, while in Argentina, 4-year-old Santino Godoy Blanco, who was the central figure of the National Vaccination Campaign, died!

Recommended : Did Aaron Carter Die From Vaccine Sudden Death?!

Truth : Santino Godoy Blanco Did NOT Die From Vaccine!

It’s becoming a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths or injuries on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

But before I start, I would like to point out that it is unbelievable how low they would go. They didn’t even bat an eye in lying about a young boy’s death. They have no shame at all.

Fact #1 : Santino Godoy Blanco Died From Pneumonia

Santino Godoy Blanco, who hailed from the town of San Miguel, had been unwell for a week with a high fever that persisted despite being given ibuprofen.

His mother, Agustina Blanco, took him to the Dr. Raúl F. Larcade Municipal Hospital at dawn on Wednesday, November 2, where the doctor said that he had a viral fever, and sent him home.

Unfortunately, Santino’s fever persisted and he started to throw up. He was Reliverán (Metoclopramide) for his vomiting, but eventually went back to the hospital after his condition did not improve.

Recommended : mRNA Vaccines Created Spike Protein In Human Heart?!

Santino’s condition continued to deteriorate to Thursday – he kept vomiting, and was weak and not able to eat. Once again, his mother brought him to the hospital, but this time, Santino was so weak, he was no longer able to sit up and had to lie down.

After 10 minutes, the nurse told his mother that Santino needed oxygen, explaining that the doctor who checked him believed he was suffering from bronchospasm, but the three pulse oximeter sensors they tried didn’t work. Santino then went into shock, and they tried but failed to revive him after 1.5 hours.

After Santino Blanco died, an autopsy was conducted on his body, which revealed that he died from pneumonia.

In short, Santino Godoy Blanca’s cause of death was pneumonia, not COVID-19 or the COVID-19 vaccine.

It was also not a “sudden death”, as anti-vaccination activists keep claiming. Sadly, Santino suffered for a long time before dying from pneumonia.

Fact #2 : Argentinian Vaccination Campaign Was Not For COVID-19

Now, I should point out that the vaccination campaign that Santino Godoy Blanco was featured in, was not for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Santino was a model for the Argentinian National Ministry of Health’s vaccination campaign for measles, rubella, mumps and polio (sarampión, rubéola, paperas y polio).

All those nasty antivaxxers mocking his family or the boy for promoting something that “killed him” got it completely wrong. So you have to ask yourself – why should you listen to people who either lied, or just made up that claim?

Recommended : New DARPA Docs Confirm COVID-19 Was Created In China?!

Fact #3 : Unknown If Santino Blanco Was Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Just because Santino Godoy Blanco was a model for a vaccination campaign, does not mean he was actually vaccinated against COVID-19.

It’s no different from how actors may appear to be macho in a movie, but are quite different people in real life.

For all we know – he may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory in Argentina, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.

For example, anti-vaccination activists claimed that Kaden Clymer was almost crippled by a 6-foot long vaccine-induced blood clot, but the high school athlete was never vaccinated against COVID-19!

Fact #4 : Argentina Uses Sinopharm For Child COVID-19 Vaccinations

Anti-vaccination activists are falsely blaming Santino Godoy Bianco’s death on mRNA vaccines.

Even if Santino Godoy Blanco was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, he never received an mRNA vaccine, because Argentina only approved the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine for use in children between 3 and 11 years in age.

The Sinopharm COVILO vaccine, also known as BBIBP-CorV or just BIBP, is an inactivated virus vaccine made from actual SARS-CoV-2 virus grown in Vero cells, and killed using β-propiolactone. This vaccine does not use mRNA technology.

Fact #5 : Pneumonia Is A Common Cause Of Childhood Death

Anti-vaccination activists falsely claim that children do not die from pneumonia.

The truth is – pneumonia is a common cause of death in very young children, accounting for 14% of all deaths of children under 5 years old.

In fact, the WHO points out that pneumonia is the single largest infectious cause of death in children worldwide, killing 740,180 children in 2019 alone.

Pneumonia is a form of acute respiratory infection by viruses, bacteria or fungi that infect the lungs, and makes breathing difficult and reduces the amount of oxygen the child receives.

Recommended : Are Residual DNA In mRNA Vaccines Dangerous?!

Fact #6 : COVID-19 Vaccines Cannot Prevent Other Causes Of Death

COVID-19 vaccines are designed to protect us against severe illness and death from COVID-19, by teaching our own immune system how to create antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

They, however, cannot protect us against other causes of death, whether it’s pneumonia, cardiac arrest or even other viruses. Hence, fully-vaccinated people can and will die from other causes of death.

It is therefore ludicrous for anti-vaccination activists to blame all deaths of fully-vaccinated people on the vaccine. Did they really expect the COVID-19 vaccine to be an elixir of immortality? Please grow up.

Fact #7 : Claims Of Celebrities Dying From COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing celebrity deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

So far, claims of celebrity deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance. Here is the latest dozen of other false celebrity claims!

Are 70 Countries Planning To Sue China For Vaccine Deaths?!

Are 70 countries around the world preparing to sue China for COVID-19 vaccine deaths?!

Take a look at the viral claim, and find out what the facts really are!

Claim : 70 Countries Are Preparing To Sue China For Vaccine Deaths!

This message is going viral on WhatsApp and Twitter, claiming that 70 countries around the world are preparing to sue China for COVID-19 vaccine deaths.

Miles Guo
💥Due to the vaccine-related death, around 70 countries are preparing to sue China in the International Arbitration Court, if US ceases the vaccine mandate, China may have to pay 600 trill USD for all the vaccine-related mortality🤢they work for another 10,000 years!

The message is often linked to the source of that claim – this Gnews article :

On May 29th in a livestream, Miles Guo revealed that currently at least 70 countries that have adopted Communist China’s vaccines are preparing to sue the Chinese Communist Party – CCP for vaccine-related deaths. These countries are requesting an independent arbitration in the International Arbitration Court in UK London.

He said for sure the CCP won’t show up in the court, which would lead to a unilateral arbitration directly, and in that case, it’s almost 100% sure that the court would find CCP liable for the vaccine related deaths, which might bring up to approximately 600 trillion USD for a compensation, and that is an astronomical amount for the Chinese deplorables (Lao Baixing) to pay.

Truth : 70 Countries Are Not Preparing To Sue China For Vaccine Deaths!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by G News, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : No Country Is Preparing To Sue China For Vaccine Deaths

Despite what Miles Guo may claim, there is no country that is planning to sue the Chinese Communist Party for deaths related to Chinese vaccines.

Fact #2 : There Is No International Arbitration Court

There is no international body called the International Arbitration Court. The two major courts that deal with disputes between countries are :

  • The International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations
  • The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), which is a non-UN intergovernmental organisation.

Neither the ICJ nor the PCA are based in London, the United Kingdom. They are both based in The Hague, Netherlands.

There is a London Court of International Arbitration, but that is a British private company offers dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation. Hardly a proper channel to “sue” China, isn’t it?

Fact #3 : G-Times News Is Infamous For Fake News

This fake story was created by G-Times News (also known as GNews or G News), a website owned by Guo Media.

Guo Media is a company associated with Guo Wengui (also known as Miles Guo), an exiled Chinese businessman, and Steve Bannon – both of whom are infamous for creating and spreading misinformation.

Naturally, both Guo and Bannon are often featured in G News coverage. It doesn’t make them prescient, just pretentious.

Just like the time G-Times News claimed that Pfizer delisted itself on the Nasdaq and NYSE!

Read more : Is Pfizer Delisting Itself On Nasdaq + NYSE?!

Fact #4 : Chinese Vaccines Save Lives

China has been selling tons of COVID-19 vaccines, in particular, the Sinovac CoronaVac, the Sinopharm BIBP and the CanSino Convidecia.

They were not very efficacious even against the ancestral COVID-19 virus, but they offered very good protection against severe disease and death, as this table shows.

Their efficacy against COVID-19 variants like Delta and Omicron were much poorer to be sure. But we have to acknowledge that these Chinese vaccines still saved lives.

Gamaleya Sputnik V 91.6% 100% 100%
Moderna mRNA-1273 94.1% 100% 100%
AstraZeneca AZD1222 62% ~ 90% 100% 100%
Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV 79% ~ 86% 90% 100%

CanSino Convidecia 65.7% 90.98% 100%
Sinovac CoronaVac 50.65% 83.7% 100%

Fact #5 : CCP Did Not Make COVID-19 Vaccines

The Chinese COVID-19 vaccines were developed and produced by various Chinese pharmaceutical companies, not the Chinese Communist Party.

So it would be really absurd to sue the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or the country of China, for the poor efficacy of vaccines produced by Chinese companies.

Only fake news creators and conspiracy theorists can come up with such ridiculous claims, and expect to be taken seriously.

Sinovac / Sinopharm Recipients To Get Second Booster Dose!

Sinovac and Sinopharm recipients will be allowed to get a second booster dose!

Here is what you need to know…

Sinovac / Sinopharm Recipients To Get Second Booster Dose!

On 14 April 2022, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that they will offer a second booster dose to high-risk individuals, to improve their protection against COVID-19!

In addition, they will also offer recipients of the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines the opportunity to get a second booster dose.

The second booster dose will be the Pfizer COMIRNATY vaccine, and it will be given at least 1 month after the first booster dose for Sinovac / SInopharm recipients.

This second booster dose is optional, and is not compulsory. Your vaccination status will not change, whether you take the second booster dose or not.

However, it will facilitate overseas travel for Sinovac and Sinopharm recipients because many countries do not recognise either vaccines.

Read more : Second Booster Dose Offered To High-Risk Individuals!

Should Sinovac / Sinopharm Recipients Get Second Booster Dose?

If you are a Sinovac or Sinopharm recipient and need to travel overseas, you should definitely get the second booster dose.

Both vaccines have been EUA-qualified by the WHO. However, quite a number of countries do not recognise the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines, due to their lower efficacy.

The massive RECoVaM study, for example, showed that the Sinovac vaccine’s limited efficacy quickly waned after just 2 months. And that wasn’t even against the highly-contagious Omicron variant.

Even Sinovac recipients who receive a Pfizer booster dose may not obtain sufficient protection against the Omicron variant. A recent Yale University study showed that Sinovac vaccine recipients will require TWO Pfizer booster doses, to adequately protect against the Omicron variant.

So if you have the opportunity to get the second booster dose, take it. Even if the country you intend to visit recognises the Sinovac / Sinopharm vaccine, you will better protect yourself against COVID-19 by getting the second booster dose.

Second Booster Dose Offered To High-Risk Individuals!

High-risk individuals in Malaysia will be offered a second booster dose, to improve their protection against COVID-19!

Here is what you need to know…

Second Booster Dose Offered To High-Risk Individuals!

The Malaysia Ministry of Health will offer a second booster dose to high-risk individuals, to improve their protection against COVID-19!

  • High-risk senior citizens aged 60 years and above, with co-morbidities like
    – diabetes
    – chronic lung disease
    – chronic renal disease, underlying dialysis
    – chronic liver disease
    – cerebrovascular disease
    – heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy
    – chronic neurological diseases
    – BMI of over 40
    – residents of long-term care facilities
  • Individuals who received the Sinovac or Sinopharm booster dose for travel purposes
  • Healthy senior citizens are advised to consult a doctor for second booster dose recommendation

The second booster dose will be the Pfizer COMIRNATY vaccine, and it will be given :

  • at least 4-6 months after the first booster dose for senior citizens,
  • at least 3 months after recovery for senior citizens who had a COVID-19 infection,
  • and at least 1 month after the first booster dose for Sinovac / SInopharm recipients.

This second booster dose is optional, and is not compulsory. Your vaccination status will not change, whether you take the second booster dose or not.

Read more : COVID-19 vaccination status changes on 1 April 2022

Why Second Booster Dose For High-Risk Individuals?

High-risk individuals, namely senior citizens with co-morbidities, are at a much higher risk of developing severe COVID-19.

Even though COVID-19 vaccines offer great protection against hospitalisation and death, their protection wanes over time. With the Omicron variant raging around the globe, and new variants coming up, it is important to boost their protection.

This is particularly important for those who received the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines. Both Chinese vaccines offer markedly lower protection, which quickly wane over a matter of weeks.

A Yale University study, for example, showed that Sinovac vaccine recipients will require TWO Pfizer booster doses, to adequately protect against the Omicron variant.

Therefore, if you are offered the second booster dose, I would highly recommend you take it. Even more so if you received the Sinovac / Sinopharm vaccine earlier.

Read more : Why Sinovac recipients may need TWO Pfizer booster doses!

There is also a more practical consideration for people travelling overseas – some countries in Europe do not recognise the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, both as a primary series vaccine or a booster dose.

Therefore, they will be allowed to obtain a second booster dose, at least one month after receiving their first booster dose.

Booster Deadline For Seniors + Sinovac Extended… Again!

The deadline for ALL senior citizens and Sinovac vaccine recipients to receive a booster dose in Malaysia has been extended… AGAIN!

Booster Deadline For Seniors + Sinovac Recipients Extended Again!

On 7 February 2022, Malaysia Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that these individuals will be required to get a booster dose by 28 February 2022.

  • 60 years and older who were fully-vaccinated with any COVID-19 vaccine
  • 18 years and older who were fully-vaccinated with the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine

On 24 February 2022, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that the deadline has been extended, and both groups will have until the 31 March 2022 to get their booster dose.

On 1 April 2022, the Malaysia Health Ministry (KKM) extended the deadline again, this time by three (3) months.

This means individuals in both groups who do not get their booster dose will lose their fully-vaccinated status only on 1 July 2022, .

To be clear – this is not a vaccine mandate. You are free to refuse the booster dose. However, your MySejahtera will show that you are not fully-vaccinated.

KKM Still Offers Sinovac Booster Dose

On 7 February, the Health Minister also shared that 3.5 million people who were fully-vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine still have not received their booster dose.

To encourage them to get their booster dose, the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) is now offering Sinovac recipients the option of a Sinovac booster dose.

KKM however strongly recommends that Sinovac recipients receive either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca booster dose, because they offer much better protection.

They are only offering the Sinovac booster dose, because it is better than not taking one at all. As Khairy quipped, “If you are going to travel to a cold country and refuse the coat that KKM offers, it’s better that we give you a t-shirt than let you go naked“.

That’s quite an apt description, as recent studies (here, here and here) have shown that the Sinovac booster dose is about as useful as a t-shirt in winter.

That said, Khairy also said that there are currently no plans for a 4th shot for Sinovac recipients.

Read more : Why Sinovac Recipients May Need Two Pfizer Booster Doses!

That is why I completely agree with KKM, and highly recommend that Sinovac recipients opt for the much better Pfizer or AstraZeneca booster dose.

If you prefer a Chinese vaccine for work or geopolitical reasons, then opt for the Sinopharm vaccine, which is at least slightly better than the Sinovac vaccine.

But no matter what you choose – please get the booster dose ASAP.

You can walk-in for your booster dose at any Mega PPV or Offsite PPV, or get an appointment at a GP PPV. So it’s really convenient.

KKM : Those Who Refuse Booster Will Not Lose Privileges

On 30 March 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) announced that those who refuse their booster dose will not lose their fully-vaccinated privileges, only their status.

For these individuals – people in the two groups above who refuse to get their booster dose – they will lose the Fully Vaccinated status in MySejahtera, but will be treated like Fully Vaccinated individuals.

  • you will be able to dine-in like Fully Vaccinated individuals
  • you will be able to go shopping like Fully Vaccinated individuals
  • you will be able to go to work like Fully Vaccinated individuals

To comply with this, premise owners are being asked to verify that you are a Partially Vaccinated individual who has received the full primary series vaccine :

  • For 2-dose vaccines (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac) : individuals must have exceeded 14 days from their second dose
  • For 1-dose vaccines (Johnson & Johnson, CanSino) : individuals must have exceeded 14 days from their vaccination

Overseas travellers entering Malaysia, however, must be fully-vaccinated with both the primary series vaccine and a booster dose to be allowed to enter these public premises.

My Opinion : Those Who Refuse Booster Dose Should Lose Privileges

This is a really confusing move. If you are in the two vulnerable groups, and refuse your booster dose :

  • you will lose your fully-vaccinated status, but not your privileges.
  • your MySejahtera will say Partially Vaccinated, but you will be treated like Fully Vaccinated.

So it begs the question – what’s the use of labelling them as Partially Vaccinated, if it makes no practical difference?

Even more perplexing – KKM requires overseas travellers to be boosted, but not vulnerable citizens. This makes it extremely difficult and confusing for premise owners to vet.

This is a table I came up with to summarise what KKM just announced about who should be allowed into public premises :

MySejahtera
Status
Overseas
Traveller
Malaysian
Resident
Boosted Allowed
Fully Vaccinated Not Allowed Allowed
Partially Vaccinated
(No Booster)
Not Allowed Allowed
Partially Vaccinated
(1 Dose of 2 Dose Vaccine)
Not Allowed Not Allowed
Unvaccinated Not Allowed

I have a feeling it’s going to cause considerable confusion amongst business owners and the public alike.

KKM ended their press statement, calling for these vulnerable groups to get their booster dose. I seriously doubt they will be taken seriously after telling them it makes no real difference.

What Booster Dose Is Best For Sinovac / Sinopharm Recipients?

The Malaysia Ministry of Health is offering four different booster doses for FREE.

  • Sinovac Recipients : Pfizer, AstraZeneca, CanSino or Sinovac
  • Sinopharm Recipients : Pfizer or AstraZeneca

The best booster dose you can receive is the Pfizer booster dose, followed by the AstraZeneca booster dose.

They are not only better vaccines (with higher efficacy), the mixing of vaccines (heterologous vaccination) will greatly increase protection against the coronavirus.

Heterologous vaccination is like learning different martial arts. By learning different ways to handle the coronavirus, your immune system is better able to beat COVID-19.

If you must have a Chinese vaccine (for travel and personal reasons), then opt for the CanSino vaccine.

They are also allowing you to walk-into the nearest PPV (COVID-19 vaccination centre) for your booster dose.

So take this opportunity to get a boost in your protection against COVID-19!

Alert : COVID-19 Vaccination Status Changes On 1 April 2022!

Please note that your COVID-19 vaccination status in Malaysia will change on 1 April 2022, depending on the vaccine and number of doses you received.

Take a look at the finalised schedule of COVID-19 vaccination status changes that will take effect very soon!

Vaccination Status Changes For Seniors, Sinovac + Sinopharm Recipients

On 24 February 2022, Malaysia Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that these individuals will be required to get a booster dose by 31 March 2022.

  • 60 years and older who were fully-vaccinated with any COVID-19 vaccine
  • 18 years and older who were fully-vaccinated with the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine

That was extended on 24 March 2022, to include individuals 18 years and older who were fully vaccinated with the Sinopharm vaccine as well.

Starting 1 April 2022, individuals in all three groups who do not get their booster dose will lose their fully-vaccinated status.

To be clear – this is not a vaccine mandate. You are free to refuse the booster dose. However, your MySejahtera will show that you are not fully-vaccinated.

COVID-19 Vaccination Status Changes On 1 April 2022!

On 24 March 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health also announced changes to the COVID-19 vaccination status, adding a new Booster status.

How To Walk-In For Free Sinovac Booster At Offsite PPV!

Find out how to walk-in for your free Sinovac booster dose at any Offsite PPV nationwide!

Here is what you need to know!

Free Sinovac Booster Dose At PPV?

On 7 February 2022, Malaysia Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin shared that 3.5 million people who were fully-vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine still have not received their booster dose.

To encourage them to get their booster dose, the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) will offer Sinovac recipients the option of a Sinovac booster dose.

KKM however strongly recommends that Sinovac recipients receive either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca booster dose, because they offer much better protection.

Read more : ALL Seniors + Sinovac Recipients MUST Get Booster Dose!

How To Walk-In For Free Sinovac Booster At Offsite PPV!

On 12 February 2022, ProtectHealth Corporation announced that they will make the Sinovac booster dose available for FREE at all Offsite PPVs under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

Starting Monday, 14 February 2022, you can walk-in for your Sinovac booster dose at any Offsite PPV in Malaysia.

You can look for the nearest Offsite PPV using the ProtectHealth Vaccination Centre search feature.

All individuals who walk-in for the booster dose must ensure that they have a proper digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate in MySejahtera before going to the PPV.

Those who do not have a digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate because they do not have a smartphone, can bring their physical vaccination card to the PPV.

Here is the official checklist of what you need to do BEFORE going to get your COVID-19 booster dose at the PPV :

  1. Get enough sleep
  2. Eat breakfast or lunch before going to the PPV
  3. Be in good health, with no symptoms
  4. Wear suitable and comfortable clothes
  5. Wear a face mask
  6. Bring your identity card / document (e.g. passport)
  7. Bring your vaccination card as proof of completed primary vaccination, if you don’t have MySejahtera
  8. Make sure you are not required to be under quarantine!

Should You Get Sinovac Booster Dose At PPV?

Now that KKM is offering the Sinovac vaccine booster dose for free, should you get it? That very much depends on a number of factors.

Read more :

Are You Allergic To The Pfizer Vaccine?

If you are allergic to the Pfizer vaccine, then you definitely cannot receive a booster dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

You will have to get a booster dose of other vaccine types – viral vector vaccines like AstraZeneca or Sputnik V, or inactivated virus vaccines like Sinovac or Sinopharm.

But with so many better vaccine options available out there, Sinovac CoronaVac should be your last choice, not your first.

Are There Better Options?

If you are given the option to switch to Pfizer or AstraZeneca, you should definitely opt for either one over the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine.

Of all the WHO approved vaccines, Sinovac CoronaVac is the least efficacious COVID-19 vaccine, offering just over 50% efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19.

And that was before it was tested against the Delta or Omicron variants. Studies have shown that two doses of Sinovac offered less protection against Delta, and no protection against Omicron.

Alpha 100% 100%
Beta 100% 0%
Delta 100% 68%
Omicron 20% – 24% 0%

Must You Get A Chinese Vaccine?

The popularity of Chinese vaccines is partly due to Chinese propaganda, and partly because China offers travel advantages for people vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines.

People who need to travel to China are still FORCED to pay for Sinovac / Sinopharm vaccines to avoid additional PCR tests.

So here is my advice. If you have to travel to China, opt for the Sinopharm vaccine. It is not only cheaper than Sinovac, it is a far better COVID-19 vaccine!

Sinovac Vaccine Is Cheaper, Not Better, So Why Bother?

The Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine is now cheaper, thanks to a price limit that kicks off today!

However, it is still not a very good COVID-19 vaccine, so why bother? Here is what you must know…

Sinovac + Sinopharm Vaccines Now Cheaper!

For some time now, people have been complaining about the prices of the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, which ranged from RM95 to RM190 per dose.

So the government of Malaysia set price limits for both Chinese vaccines that take effect today, Saturday, 15 January 2022.

Note : These price limits do NOT include service charge and the cost of disposables used during the administration of the vaccine.

Vaccine Maximum Price
Per Dose
Wholesale Retail
Sinovac CoronaVac RM 62 RM 77
Sinopharm COVILO RM 49 RM 61

While this is great news for people who want Chinese vaccines, I should point out that this does not make the Sinovac CoronaVac a better vaccine. It is just cheaper to buy, not better.

The truth is – Sinovac CoronaVac is not a good COVID-19 vaccine, which is why the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) no longer offers it.

In this article, I will show you why we should NOT bother with the Sinovac vaccine, even if it’s cheaper… and what Chinese vaccine you should opt for, if you must absolutely get a Chinese vaccine.

Sinovac Vaccine Is Cheaper, Not Better, So Why Bother?

Here is a quick summary of why the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine was, at best, a temporary solution until better vaccines become available.

Only 50% Effective Against Ancestral COVID-19

Even when it was first approved, the Sinovac vaccine offered just over 50% efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19. It was literally, the least efficacious COVID-19 vaccine in the world.

Efficacy Drops After 2 Months

The massive RECoVaM study recently showed that its limited efficacy dropped precipitously after two months, with a big drop in protection against hospitalisation.

Not Efficacious Against Omicron + Beta Variants

Despite claims that its antibodies can bypass mutations in the spike protein, antibodies from the Sinovac vaccine was shown to be completely unable to neutralise the Omicron and Beta variants of COVID-19.

Read more : Pfizer / Sinovac vs. Omicron : What HKU Study Just Revealed!

COVID-19
Variant
Seropositive Rate MN Titer (GMT)
Pfizer Sinovac Pfizer Sinovac
HKU691 Omicron 20% 0% 5.43 Min.
HKU344-R346K
Omicron
24% 0% 6.42 Min.
Delta 100% 68% 124.7 10.3
Beta 100% 0% 25.7 Min.
Alpha 100% 100% 229.4 21.7

Three Doses Not Enough Against Omicron

Even three doses of the Sinovac vaccine was recently shown to be insufficient to protect against the Omicron variant.

For Travel To China : Sinopharm Is Cheaper + Better Than Sinovac

When we lacked access to better vaccines from Pfizer and AstraZeneca, the Sinovac vaccine was better than nothing.

But now that Malaysia is offering far superior COVID-19 vaccines for FREE, why should we settle for less effective vaccines?

The popularity of Chinese vaccines is partly due to Chinese propaganda, and partly because China offers travel advantages for people vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines.

China initially would only allow travellers who were fully-vaccinated with Chinese vaccines to enter. This forced people who want to travel to China to use only Chinese vaccines.

China has since relaxed their restrictions by allowing travellers who are fully-vaccinated with non-Chinese vaccines to enter as well, but considers them no different from unvaccinated people:

  • those who received inactivated virus vaccines (Sinovac / Sinopharm) are allowed to take only one PCR test before flying to China
  • everyone else, whether partially- or fully-vaccinated with other kinds of COVID-19 vaccines, or completely unvaccinated, are required to take three PCR tests or two PCR tests and an antibody test, before flying to China

In other words, China is offering people fully-vaccinated with Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines the special privilege of avoiding two additional PCR tests, which is a big advantage.

Hence, people who need to travel to China are still FORCED to pay for Sinovac / Sinopharm vaccines – the only COVID-19 vaccines available worldwide that use inactivated virus technology.

So here is my advice. If you have to travel to China, opt for the Sinopharm vaccine. It is not only cheaper than Sinovac, it is a far better COVID-19 vaccine!

Vaccine Ancestral Delta Variant Omicron Variant

Malaysia Sets Price Limits For Sinovac + Sinopharm Vaccines!

The government of Malaysia just set price limits for the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines!

Here is what you need to know…

Sinovac + Sinopharm Price Complaints : What’s Going On?

For some time now, people have been complaining about the prices of the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, which ranged from RM95 to RM190 per dose.

Some even claimed that the Malaysian government used taxpayer’s money to purchase the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, and questioned why they had to pay through the nose for them.

It should be pointed out that the Malaysian government offers FREE COVID-19 vaccination under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK).

They are only offering the public the option to purchase the COVID-19 vaccine of their choice at private hospitals and clinics.

Malaysia Sets Price Limits For Sinovac + Sinopharm Vaccines!

After complaints of excessively high prices for Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, the government of Malaysia looked into the issue.

In a 13 January 2022 announcement, they agreed that the prices of COVID-19 vaccines offered by the private sector was too high, and set price limits for both vaccines.

Vaccine Maximum Price
Per Dose
Wholesale Retail
Sinovac CoronaVac RM 62 RM 77
Sinopharm COVILO RM 49 RM 61

These price limits will take effect on Saturday, 15 January 2022, and do NOT include service charge and the cost of disposables used during the administration of the vaccine.

They also reminded the public that all private health facilities that were licensed to offer such private purchase vaccination are required to publicise their COVID-19 vaccine prices, so the public can easily make price comparisons.

The Malaysian government will continuously monitor the import and market price, and adjust the price limits over time.

Action will be taken against individuals or companies that fail to comply with these rules and price limits, under the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.

  • Individual : Fine of up to RM100,000, or jail not exceeding three years, or both, or a RM50,000 compound
  • Company : Find of up to RM500,000, or a compound of up to RM250,000

The public should submit complaints about any breaches to the Ministry of Health’s Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA) at https://moh.spab.gov.my.

Sinovac + Sinopharm Price Limits : Cheaper, Not Better

Now, I’m very happy that the government has finally set price limits for these vaccines. They were really expensive.

But even though these vaccines are now cheaper, they are still no better than they were before.

The truth is – Sinovac CoronaVac is not a good COVID-19 vaccine, which is why the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) no longer offers it.

Even when it was first approved, the Sinovac vaccine offered just over 50% efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19. It was literally, the least efficacious COVID-19 vaccine in the world.

When we lacked access to better vaccines from Pfizer and AstraZeneca, the Sinovac vaccine was better than nothing.

But now that Malaysia has access to far superior COVID-19 vaccines, why should we settle for less effective vaccines?

Best of all – the government is offering superior COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and AstraZeneca for FREE!

So great, these vaccines are now cheaper… but why on Earth should you pay for less effective vaccines?

Do the smart thing – get vaccinated under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) for FREE!

Why COVID-19 Vaccine Shelf Life Keeps Getting Extended!

Did you know that COVID-19 vaccine shelf life can be extended beyond what’s printed on the vial, sometimes more than once?

Find out why they keep extending vaccine shelf life, and whether we should be worried about that!

COVID-19 Vaccine Shelf Life Is Way Too Short

Based on their experience developing past vaccines, manufacturers have a good idea of how long their vaccines will remain stable and retain their quality and efficacy.

When properly stored, vaccines can last a long time. Most vaccines actually have a shelf life of about three years.

However, vaccine manufacturers have been extraordinarily cautious when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines. Many COVID-19 vaccines ship with shelf lives of only 3 to 6 months!

The key takeaway point is that COVID-19 vaccine shelf lives are extraordinarily short. Many healthcare professionals would call them way too short.

COVID-19 Vaccine Shelf Life Extension Is Normal

The ultra-short shelf life for COVID-19 vaccines have led to criticism that such excessive caution is leading to wastage.

Even while there is a global shortage of vaccines, many doses had to be disposed when they “expired”, even though they are still safe and effective to use.

The WHO has been urging countries to hold onto those “expired doses” while manufacturers are assessing whether their shelf lives can be extended.

The US FDA also points out that vaccines authorised for emergency use do NOT have fixed expiry dates.

Once new stability studies prove that the vaccine remains stable and effective over time, the expiry date of those vaccines can and will be extended.

I should point out that these extended COVID-19 vaccine shelf lives are still very conservative. Perhaps overly conservative.

In fact, we should expect them to keep getting extended as further stability tests show that they do actually last very long.

Which COVID-19 Vaccine Has Extended Shelf Life?

You may be surprised to know this, but the shelf life of many COVID-19 vaccines have extended, sometimes more than once.

So do NOT be alarmed if you are given a dose from a vial with an “expired date“. It does NOT mean that you have been given a “bad vaccine”.

It just means that the vaccine has been proven to last much longer than originally expected.

Pfizer-BioNTech COMIRNATY

The Pfizer-BioNTech COMIRNATY vaccine originally had a 6 month shelf life. That was extended by 3 months, to 9 months on 22 August 2021.

On 16 December 2021, the US FDA also extended shelf life for the COMIRNATY vaccine that uses the Tris buffer to 9 months.

So all existing vaccine doses can be used for an additional 3 months beyond their printed expiry dates, as long as they are stored between -90ºC to -60ºC.

Moderna Spikevax

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine originally had a 7 month shelf life.

On 23 December 2021, both UK MHRA and Health Canada extended its shelf life by 2 months, to 9 months, as long as it is stored between -25ºC to -15ºC.

The US FDA also extended the shelf life of certain lots by 2 months, to 9 months, as long as they are stored between -50ºC to -15ºC.

J&J Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine

The Janssen COVID-19 vaccine from Johnson & Johnson originally has a 3 month (90-day) shelf life.

The US FDA extended its shelf life to 4.5 months (135 days) on 10 June 2021, and then 6 months (180 days) on 28 July 2021.

All existing vaccine doses can now be used for an additional 1.5 to 3 months (45 to 60 days) beyond their printed expiry dates, as long as they are stored at 2-8ºC.

AstraZeneca Vaxzevria

In May 2021, Health Canada extended the shelf life of about 45,000 AstraZeneca doses by a month, following review of stability data.

It allowed the use of doses with an original expiry date of 31 May 2021, until 1 July 2021.

Otherwise, all AstraZeneca vaccine doses remain with their original shelf life of six months.

Sinovac CoronaVac

The CoronaVac inactivated virus vaccine from Sinovac originally had a 6-month shelf life, which was later extended to 12 months, when it was approved by the WHO.

However, Sinovac appears to give the CoronaVac different shelf lives depending on who’s purchasing their vaccine – 1 year in Malaysia, 2 years in Singapore, and 3 years in Indonesia and Thailand.

Sinopharm BIBP

The Sinopharm BIBP vaccine has a 24-month shelf life, as registered with the WHO. With such a long shelf life, there is no real need for an extension.

CanSino Convidecia

The CanSino Convidecia vaccine has a 24-month shelf life, and remains stable for 60 days at room temperature.

With such a long shelf life, there is no real need for an extension.

SII Covishield

Covishield is a rebranded AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, and has the same original 6 month shelf life.

In March 2021, the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) extended its shelf life by 3 additional months, to 9 months.

Bharat Covaxin

Covaxin originally had a shelf life of 6 months, but that was extended to 12 months by the Indian Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation on 3 November 2021.

All existing vaccine doses can now be used for an additional 6 months beyond their printed expiry dates, as long as they are stored at 2-8ºC.

Sputnik V

The Russian vaccine – Sputnik V originally had an incredibly short 2-month shelf life at -18ºC.

The Russian Healthcare Ministry then allowed it to be stored for 2 months at 2-8ºC, before later extending it to 6 months when stored at -18ºC to -22ºC.

Malaysia HALVES Booster Dose Interval To Just 3 Months!

Malaysia just HALVED the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose interval to 3 months!

Here is what you need to know…

Malaysia HALVES Booster Dose Interval To Just 3 Months!

The Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) just announced that the existing 6 month booster dose interval is now halved to just 3 months!

Here is a table I created to summarise what they just announced :

Primary Series
Vaccine
Recommended
Booster
Alternative
Booster
Timing After
Primary Series
Pfizer Pfizer Moderna After 3 months
AstraZeneca Pfizer AstraZeneca
Sinovac Pfizer AstraZeneca or
Sinovac
Sinopharm Pfizer AstraZeneca or
Sinopharm *
Moderna Moderna Pfizer
CanSino Pfizer CanSino *
Sputnik V Pfizer AstraZeneca
Janssen Pfizer AstraZeneca After 2 months

* Note : These booster doses are still pending NPRA approval, and are therefore, not available yet.

Who Should Get Booster Dose In Malaysia?

The technical working group also evaluated the latest evidence, and introduced new recommendations for the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose.

These individuals are advised to receive a booster dose at least 3 months after their primary vaccination.

  • All senior citizens 60 years and above
  • All adults 18 years and above who received all types of vaccines (Pfizer, AZ and CoronaVac), using the age de-escalation approach
    – 50 years old and above,
    – 40 years old and above, and
    – 18 years old and above
  • Individuals with co-morbidities
  • Residents and employees at long-term care facilities

Why Malaysia Reduced The Booster Dose Interval To 3 Months?

KKM made this decision based on the recent RECoVaM study, which showed the waning protection of COVID-19 vaccines, especially the Sinovac vaccine.

They were also concerned about the latest data on the Omicron variant, which showed greater transmissibility, higher viral binding affinity and higher antibody escape.

Evidence collected over the last 3 weeks showed that a booster dose can increase protection against the Omicron variant. And early research involving 21 million booster doses in the UK showed that they are safe.

In line with those results, regulatory bodies in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia as well as panels of health experts now recommend that the booster dose vaccination should be given as early as three (3) months after completing the primary vaccine.

Malaysia To REQUIRE Booster Dose For Sinovac + Elderly!

The booster dose will be REQUIRED for Sinovac recipients, and those who are 60 years old and above!

Here is what you need to know…

Malaysia To REQUIRE Booster Dose For Sinovac + Elderly!

The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunisation (SAGE) has earlier recommended that these individuals should receive a booster dose to be considered fully-vaccinated :

  • ALL individuals who received two doses of the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines, and
  • Individuals 60 years and older who completed other COVID-19 vaccines,

The COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force – Booster (CITF-B) meeting on 8 December 2021 confirmed this suggestion.

Therefore, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced on 16 December 2021, that all these individuals MUST receive a booster dose by end of February 2022, to be considered as fully-vaccinated.

  • Individuals who received two doses of the Sinovac vaccine, and
  • Individuals 60 years and older who completed other COVID-19 vaccines,

Those who do not meet these requirements by end of February 2022 will lose their “fully-vaccinated” status in MySejahtera.

They will only regain their fully-vaccinated status once they receive the booster dose.

Read more : Latest COVID-19 Boost Dose Policy For Malaysia!

Why Is A Booster Dose Required In Malaysia?

As the Omicron variant has now been detected in Malaysia, the booster dose is of great importance. Omicron has been shown to breakthrough two doses of COVID-19 vaccines, but a booster dose confers significantly improved protection.

In fact, it will be a matter of time before everyone else will be required to receive a booster dose, to be considered fully-vaccinated.

So please get your booster dose as soon as you are offered one. Check your MySejahtera app for your booster dose appointment!

Sinovac Booster Dose : Can You Get It? Should You Take It?

Now that the Sinovac booster dose has been approved, can you get it?

If you can’t get it yet, should you WAIT to get a Sinovac booster dose instead of other vaccines?

Updated @ 2021-11-17 : Added Sinovac booster dose approval and updated advice on a Sinovac booster dose.

Updated @ 2021-11-12 : Added more information on Sinovac vaccine efficacy and advice on a Sinovac booster dose.
Originally published @ 2021-11-10

Can You Get The Sinovac Booster Dose?

Malaysia started the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose programme on 13 October 2021, targeting those who received the Pfizer vaccine, before being expanded on 22 October 2021 to those who received the Sinovac vaccine.

Since then, many people have been asking if they can get a booster dose of the Sinovac vaccine instead.

The updated answer is SOON, but not yet.

On 17 November 2021, the Malaysia Drug Control Authority (DCA) approved the Sinovac and AstraZeneca booster doses for homologous vaccination.

That means Sinovac and AstraZeneca booster doses will be given to those who earlier received Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines respectively.

However, this does NOT mean the Sinovac booster dose is immediately available.

The COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force – Booster (CITF-B) will be targeting specific groups to receive these booster doses, which will be detailed later.

Right now, the COVID-19 Booster Dose programme in Malaysia continues to use the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Even people vaccinated with Sinovac will receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as a booster dose.

If you had earlier received the Sinovac vaccine, and are open to receive the Pfizer booster dose, I highly recommend you get yourself on the standby list ASAP.

If CITF-B eventually decides to give only homologous vaccinations for Sinovac, you will lose your chance to get the Pfizer booster dose.

My advice remains the same – don’t wait for the Sinovac booster dose. Get the Pfizer booster dose if it is offered to you.

It is FAR MORE EFFECTIVE, and gives you a big boost in protection, especially if you received the Sinovac vaccine earlier.

Read more : Malaysia’s COVID-19 Booster Dose Policy Explained!

Should You Get The Sinovac Booster Dose?

The Malaysia Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, mentioned earlier that people with severe allergies, or who have suffered an allergic reaction to the Pfizer vaccine earlier, may be offered a booster shot of the Sinovac or AstraZeneca vaccine instead.

Now that the Sinovac vaccine has been approved as a booster dose, should you WAIT to get it?

That very much depends on a number of factors.

Read more : Did FDA Panel Reject Pfizer Booster Dose Over Myocarditis?

Are There Better Options?

If you are given the option to switch to Pfizer or AstraZeneca, you should definitely opt for either one over the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine.

Of all the WHO approved vaccines, Sinovac CoronaVac is the least efficacious COVID-19 vaccine, offering just over 50% efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19.

And that was before it was tested against the highly-infectious Delta variant.

In June 2021, Chinese CDC deputy director Dr. Feng Zijian admitted that their inactivated virus vaccines are “less effective” against the Delta variant.

While Sinovac has tried to push their booster dose as a way to shore up the CoronaVac’s efficacy against the Delta variant, it would be foolish to assume that it offers anything more than a temporary boost in relatively ineffective antibodies.

Even China is moving to use mRNA booster doses for those who received Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines, with their own mRNA vaccine called ARCoVAX entering mass production soon.

Read more : Are Chinese Vaccines The Most Effective Vs. Delta Variant?

Sinovac / Sinopharm Should Require Three Doses Minimum

On 12 October 2021, WHO experts recommended that those over 60 who received the Sinovac or Sinopharm’s vaccines should be given a third shot.

They notably refrained from calling it a booster dose, suggesting instead that they should be administered as three doses, instead of the recommended two doses, for a primary series vaccine.

This was precisely the same policy adopted by Singapore on 23 October 2021, when their Ministry of Health declared that three doses of the Sinovac vaccine will be REQUIRED for a person to be considered fully-vaccinated.

In other words – two doses isn’t enough to be considered fully-vaccinated for these inactivated virus vaccines.  They have to be taken as three doses MINIMUM.

Even Malaysia’s RECoVaM data show that the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine is comparatively weak, allowing significantly more breakthrough infections that result in ICU care and deaths.

If you still feel that you prefer to get three Sinovac vaccine doses, instead of using a different vaccine – that’s fine. It is better than not getting a booster shot at all.

The key thing is to GET PROTECTED against COVID-19, by getting fully-vaccinated. If that means three doses of Sinovac, so be it.

My advice remains the same as it did earlier this year. Don’t wait – get the first vaccine (or booster dose) you are offered!

China Provided 2 Billion Vaccine Doses To The World?!

Did China provide 2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses to the world, while America dropped hundreds of thousands of bombs instead?

Take a look at the new viral photo, and find out what the FACTS really are!

Did China Provide 2 Billion Vaccine Doses To The World?

Sinophiles have been sharing an infographic comparing Chinese President Xi Jinping to the last three American Presidents – Donald Trump, Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

It shows that China under Xi Jinping provided 2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses to the world, while America under President Bush, Obama and Trump dropped over 240,000 bombs.

Truth : China Did Not Provide 2 Billion Vaccine Doses To The World

The truth is this is just Chinese propaganda and well, FAKE NEWS, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : China Did Not Provide 2 Billion Vaccine Doses To The World

The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on 23 September 2021 that “China has provided 1.2 billion doses of finished and bulk vaccines to more than 100 countries and international organisations“.

So even if we take their word for it, China most definitely has NOT provided 2 billion doses of their COVID-19 vaccines to the world.

Data analytics company, Airfinity, puts China’s worldwide COVID-19 vaccine exports slightly lower – at just 1.1 billion doses to 123 countries, as of 8 October 2021.

No matter how you slice this salami, China has not come close to providing the world with 2 billion vaccine doses.

Read more : Are Top 4 COVID-19 Vaccines From China?

Fact #2 : Provided Does Not Mean Donated

The misleading “infographic” tries to imply that China “donated” 2 billion doses of vaccines to the world.

Note how it uses the same word – “provided” just like the Chinese Foreign Ministry. It is a curious use of the word, since other countries would have either used “exported” or “donated”.

The use of the ambiguous word “provided” is no coincidence, as China wants the world to think of it as benevolent and generous. The truth is much less impressive.

Most Chinese-made COVID-19 vaccines were SOLD for profit, not donated for the good of their fellow men.

There’s nothing wrong in selling vaccines. It is simply FALSE to imply or claim that China donated 2 billion vaccine doses.

Fact #3 : China Is A Stingy Vaccine Donor

Despite their implied benevolence, China is a notably stingy donor.

China only started donating to COVAX on 3 February 2021, pledging 10 million doses of their Sinopharm vaccine.

Not only was that a paltry 0.3% of the 3.3 BILLION doses secured by COVAX at that time, it took them almost 3 months to manufacture those 10 million doses.

China pledged to donate a total of 100 million vaccine doses, with around 37 million doses delivered by 1 October 2021.

That pales in comparison to the United States, which donated more than 190 million doses as of 13 October and has pledged to donate more than 1.1 BILLION vaccine doses11X more than China.

Read more : Did China Contribute 60% Of COVAX Vaccine Supply?

Fact #4 : China Is A Stingy COVAX Donor

COVAX – the worldwide initiative for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines – does not rely on donated vaccines. It relies primarily on financial aid, which allows it to directly purchase vaccines to distribute.

You can check how much each country or organisation donated in the latest COVAX donor list.

China did not contribute a single dollar to the COVAX Facility until 6 August 2021, when they announced a single US$100 million contribution.

That may sound impressive, until you actually compare their contribution with what the rest of the world is contributing…

COVAX Donors Contribution In USD
United States 3,500 million
Germany 1,070 million
Japan 1,000 million
United Kingdom 733 million
Sweden 538 million
European Commission 489 million
Italy 470 million
Canada 384 million
Sweden 296 million
France 242 million
South Korea 210 million
B&M Gates Foundation 206 million
Switzerland 162 million
Saudi Arabia 150 million
Norway 141 million
Spain 122 million
Netherlands 108 million
Australia 100 million
China 100 million

China could only match Australia, donating LESS THAN HALF what South Korea donated and just 10% of what Japan donated donated to COVAX, despite being the world’s second largest economy.

Even more embarrassingly, China donated LESS THAN HALF what the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – a private organisation – donated to COVAX.

But not to worry – Russia didn’t contribute a single cent to COVAX. So Chinese propagandists would do better to compare China’s contributions against their northern brethren, instead of their western rivals.

Fact #5 : CCP Government Is No Angel

China under the CCP government may not have dropped bombs on other countries like the United States, but it is no angel.

While the United States dropped bombs on terrorists and sometimes innocents caught in “The War On Terror”, the CCP government conducted its own “War on Terror” in its Xinjiang Province by rounding up between 1-3 million Uyghur Muslims and putting them into internment camps, which they call “vocational education and training centres”.

Now, there is no equivalence between dropping bombs on people, and imprisoning them to use as slave labour. But it would be foolish for anyone to believe that China is an angel.

The CCP government has aggressively threatened Taiwan, continuously sending flights of military planes into their ADIZ (Air Defence Identification Zone).

The CCP government also took over islands and features in the Paracel and Spratly Islands that belonged to other countries, and built military installations on them, including airfields, radar and radio stations as well as missile defences, and actively use them to threatened passing ships.

The CCP government even sent its troops to engage the Indian army in aggressive melee and face-off skirmishes on their border, resulting in deaths of 20 Indian soldiers and approximately 43 Chinese soldiers in 2020.

China’s conduct within their own country and internationally, has shown that the Middle Kingdom has no qualms ignoring international laws and destroying people’s lives, to get what they want.

That makes China no different from other superpowers abusing their economic and military strength to bully smaller and less powerful nations.

It’s a long message, so skip to the next section for the facts…

Covid-19.. Ranking of Vaccines

US accepted the best vaccine is from China.

America’s New York Times reports.

China’s 1-4 best vaccine rankings, while many admired Pfizer ranked sixth.

– The safety rating of vaccines currently injected in Thailand

Sinovac and AZ are 2nd and 5th, while the demanding Pfizer is 6th.

Truth : Top 4 COVID-19 Vaccines Are NOT From China

This is just an updated version of the earlier fake news claiming that Chinese vaccines are the world’s safest.

And here are the reasons why it’s just FAKE NEWS…

Fact #1 : It Was Not An Actual NYT Article

The posts promoted a New York Times link, but it was really just an opinion piece by Achal Prabhala and Chee Yoke Ling – an Indian public health activist and a Malaysian public interest lawyer.

It was NOT an actual article by any New York Times writer or correspondent. Neither was it endorsed by the New York Times.

Fact #2 : NYT Did Not Rank COVID-19 Vaccines

The opinion piece did NOT rank the COVID-19 vaccines, much less claim that the top 4 vaccines are from China.

In fact, it pointed out the conflicting trial results for the CoronaVac vaccine from Sinovac, and noted that “China’s and Russia’s self-serving propaganda campaigns touting their respective vaccines only increased wariness“.

Instead of praising Chinese vaccines as the safest in the world, the two writers were merely asking health authorities to “start trusting other countries’ vaccines“, because there is simply not enough vaccines from Western countries to supply the world.

Read more : Did New York Times Rank Chinese Vaccines As World Safest?

Fact #3 : The New York Times Refuted The Claim

On 10 March 2021, The New York Times published three tweets refuting the false claims.

We are aware of misinformation circulating on WhatsApp, which falsely ranks the safety of worldwide coronavirus vaccines and attributes this list to a report published by The New York Times.

This message is misleading and untrue. The New York Times did not publish this list, our reporting has not suggested that Chinese vaccines are superior to vaccines produced elsewhere, nor have we published claims that China has exported more than 500 million doses.

Our understanding of the effectiveness and safety of vaccines is published in The New York Times Coronavirus Vaccine Tracker. It is evolving, nuanced, and regularly updated to reflect current scientific evidence.

Fact #4 : Chinese Vaccines Have Efficacy Issues

On 24 June 2021, Chinese CDC deputy director Dr. Feng Zijian told the China Central Television that antibodies from two Chinese COVID-19 vaccines are “less effective” against the Delta variant, compared to other strains.

In that interview, he declined to name the two Chinese vaccines, but the Caixin Global report appears to confirm that they are the Sinovac CoronaVac and Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV vaccines.

Sinovac itself appears to be cognisant of this limitation, and have conducting clinical research on a booster dose of their own.

But it appears that the Chinese government is not going to wait, but will instead boost protection against the Delta variant using the Pfizer mRNA vaccine instead.

Read more : China To Offer mRNA Booster Dose For Sinovac + Sinopharm!

Fact #5 : Doses Ordered, Not Delivered

The post claimed that “China has exported more than 500 million doses of vaccines to more than 50 countries around the world, and it is estimated that hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated.”

The truth is Chinese vaccine manufacturers received ORDERS for about 500 million doses of their vaccines from about 45 countries.

When that post first appeared in February 2021, China was actually a long way from delivering (exporting) those 500 million vaccine doses, and certainly hundreds of millions of people have NOT been vaccinated with Chinese COVID-19 vaccines at that time.

Even China only planned to vaccinate 50 million essential workers by mid-February – less than 4% of its population, even as it exports millions of doses overseas.

Fact #6 : China Purchased 100 Million Doses Of Pfizer Vaccine

Despite the claims of Chinese vaccine superiority and approving FOUR domestically developed and produced vaccines, China also ordered 100 million doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

As mentioned in Fact #4, the Chinese government is planning to boost protection against the Delta variant using the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, for people vaccinated with their Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines.

Read more : China To Offer mRNA Booster Dose For Sinovac + Sinopharm!

Fact #7 : Flying For Early Vaccines, Not Chinese Vaccines

While the fake post insinuates that wealthy people in Britain are flying to the UAE for superior Chinese vaccines, the truth is they were offered EARLY ACCESS to COVID-19 vaccines.

Knightsbridge Circle – a private concierge service – had been flying people since January 2021 to the UAE for the Pfizer vaccine, or India for the AstraZeneca vaccine.

In February 2021, they partnered with the UAE to offer the Sinopharm vaccine as a way to “bring tourism into the area”.

This is really about the rich cutting queue and getting early access to COVID-19 vaccines, and not about wealthy UK residents actually believing in the superiority of Chinese vaccines.

Fact #8 : Vaccine Side Effects Do Not Take 10-20 Years To Appear

It is utter nonsense to claim that vaccines can cause side effects 10-20 years later.

Vaccines are merely self-defence classes for our immune system – teaching it how to identify a microbe, so it can learn to make antibodies against it.

Like a self-defence class, a vaccine doesn’t stick around. That’s why sometimes a booster dose (like revision classes) is required.

Any side effects you may experience is your body’s natural reaction to what it believes is the actual virus – this is how the vaccine trains the body to defend itself.

These side effects occur in the first few days of getting the vaccine dose, and do not lay in wait for 10-20 years before appearing.

Should You Trust Vaccines Made In China?

Yes, if approved by the health authority of your country, you should trust vaccines made in China.

The Chinese vaccines may have lower efficacy than the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine, but they are still effective at preventing hospitalisations and death.

We need to stop obsessing over efficacy rates because most people don’t understand them.

What we really need to understand is that ALL approved COVID-19 vaccines have been proven to prevent severe or fatal COVID-19 disease.

Just take any approved COVID-19 vaccine, and you will be protected against moderate to severe COVID-19 disease that requires medical treatment.

Retiree Hospitalised After Taking Ivermectin For Just 2 Days!

A 65 year-old retiree was hospitalised after taking ivermectin for just 2 days!

Find out what happened, and why you should not take unproven cures for COVID-19!

Retiree Hospitalised After Taking Ivermectin For Just 2 Days!

A 65 year-old retiree in Singapore became the latest casualty of the ivermectin insanity.

Madam Wong Lee Tak was convinced by two members of the Church of the Risen Christ to purchase and take ivermectin to protect herself against COVID-19.

After taking just four 3 mg tablets for two days, she fell very ill, complaining of :

  • dizziness
  • vomiting and nausea
  • loss of appetite
  • severe joint pain
  • tiredness
  • inability to stand and walk

Her daughter, Vanessa Koh, admitted her to the Sengkang General Hospital, where she is now in stable condition.

Read more : Why Dr. Pierre Kory Got COVID-19 Despite Taking Ivermectin!

Church Members Convinced Retiree To Take Ivermectin!

At first, Vanessa thought her mother was suffering side effects from the Sinopharm vaccine that she received more than a week ago.

She told The Straits Times that it took months to convince her mother to get vaccinated, because her close friends from the Church of the Risen Christ told her that the mRNA vaccine was against God.

One church member, Clara Ng, even said that those advising Madam Wong to get the vaccine should “shut their mouth” unless they can “ask Jesus to tell me personally, that he commanded / ask me to go ahead and take the vaccine“.

Read more : Is COVID-19 Vaccine Useless Against Delta Variant?

In the end, her mother acquiesced to get the Sinopharm vaccine, instead of the more efficacious Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine.

While looking after her mother, she found out why – messages on her mother’s phone revealed that her friends from the Church of the Risen Christ were actively trying to stop her from getting the more efficacious mRNA vaccine.

One of the Risen Christ Church members, Clara Ng, even told her, “don’t ALLOW SATAN to win!!!” by getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Read more : Are Chinese Vaccines The Most Effective Vs. Delta Variant?

The Risen Christ Church members also advised her to buy and use ivermectin instead, with one church member selling them in boxes of 1,000 ivermectin tablets for S$110 (about US$81 / £59 / RM338)

When confronted, her mother admitted she purchased nine boxes of ivermectin from that church member, which she hid in her study room.

It should be noted that in Singapore, ivermectin can only be prescribed by a registered medical practitioner. It cannot be sold over-the-counter, or on the Internet.

Another church member then shared the dosage reference for taking ivermectin, that was taken from the FLCCC I-MASK+ protocol, which has never been tested in any clinical trial.

Read more : Ivermectin + Supplements : Better Than COVID-19 Vaccines?

Vanessa also shared that two of her mother’s church friends – Judy Koh and Clara Ng – convinced her mother that :

  • the mRNA vaccine was against their religion (it’s not), and that Jesus would reach out to them if they are allowed to take it
  • on finding out that her mother was going to get the Sinopharm vaccine, telling her that she will not go to Heaven if she takes the second dose.
  • taking ivermectin will help to purge the vaccine and COVID-19.

Shockingly, none of her mother’s church friends contacted her or her mother after she was hospitalised.

Her mother was also removed from the church Telegram group, and her conversations there erased.

So Vanessa went on Facebook to write about her mother’s experience, and to warn people about COVID Know-It-All experts :

To all of you out there who feel that you know better than the doctors because of google, DON’T. There is nothing more disrespectful than trying to do someone else’s profession, when you are severely unqualified – and that applies for not just Judy, Clara but also shamefully, my mom.

Discuss with your family, no matter how you feel your good friends are better because they are more pious. Because sitting outside the A&E was not Judy Koh or Clara Ng. It was Vanessa Koh. Because sitting outside at the taxi stand hospital is not Judy Koh or Clara Ng. It was Vincent Koh. Because sitting at the admission counter paying for the bill is not Judy Koh or Clara Ng. It was Vanessa Koh.

Do not let the Judy-s and Clara-s in your life overlook the people that truly matters.

Family.

Are Chinese Vaccines The Most Effective Vs. Delta Variant?

Are Chinese vaccines the most effective vaccines against the Delta variant of COVID-19?

Find out what just went viral, and what the facts really are!

Claim : Chinese Vaccines Are The Most Effective Against Delta Variant!

This message has gone viral on WhatsApp, claiming that Chinese vaccines are superior to the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, and are in fact, the most effective vaccines against Delta variant!

It is quite long, so just skip to the next section for the FACTS!

Israel DOES NOT use China vaccines at all,
but Israel uses only Moderna+Pfizzer vaccines, and that is why Israel has record number of daily cases now, and the number of daily cases in Israel is now higher than before vaccination started, and the vast majority of Israel people have already been vaccinated .

The reason for the failure to stop virus spread in Israel and also in Singapore,
is because Moderna+Pfizzer vaccines, are NOT EFFECTIVE against the delta variant, and the effectiveness will keep dropping every month.

Both Israel and Singapore made the same mistake, of naively and trusting in full, the USA fake news media claim, that wildly overstate the effectiveness of vaccines like Moderna+Pfizzer vaccines, and the same USA fake news media FALSELY CLAIM that China vaccines are not effective, but in the real world, China vaccines turn out to be the most effective, especially against the Delta variant .

Truth : Chinese Vaccines Are Not The Most Effective Vs. Delta Variant

The truth is – Chinese COVID-19 vaccines are decent, but they are hardly the most efficacious vaccines in the market.

And they are definitely NOT the most effective vaccines against the Delta variant.

This is just another piece of Chinese propaganda, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Israel Showed That Lockdowns Work

In their first wave, Israel declared a national state of emergency on 19 March 2020, and underwent a strict lockdown with travel restrictions.

In their second wave, they announced another set of lockdown measures from July to September 2020, which rapidly cut down the numbers by end of October 2020.

In their third wave, Israel initiated their third nationwide lockdown on 27 December 2020, which they started lifting in March 2021.

Fact #2 : Israel Currently Has Few COVID-19 Restrictions

By June 2021, masking was no longer required even indoors, and there are currently very few restrictions in Israel.

In spite of their high vaccination rate – 61.1% of their population are fully vaccinated – Israel has not achieved herd immunity.

Unfortunately, they got complacent and opened up too early. Coupled with the more transmissible Delta variant, this led to their fourth wave.

Read more : Delta Variant Of COVID-19 Can Infect In Seconds!

Fact #3 : Delta Variant Causes More Breakthrough Infections

We have known since June 2021 that the Delta variant of COVID-19 is partially-resistant to vaccines.

This allows it to cause more breakthrough infections, especially for those who are partially-vaccinated.

This is more of a problem for the AstraZeneca vaccine, and much less for the Pfizer vaccine used in Israel and Singapore.

Read more : Why Delta Variant Causes MORE Breakthrough Infections!

COVID-19
Variant
Pfizer AstraZeneca
1 Dose 2 Doses 1 Dose 2 Doses
Alpha (UK) 50% 93% 50% 66%
Delta (India) 33% 88% 33% 60%

Fact #4 : Vaccines Protect Against Hospitalisation + Death!

While the Delta variant can cause more breakthrough infections, COVID-19 vaccines offer excellent protection against hospitalisation and death.

What this means is the fully-vaccinated people who get infected by COVID-19 will usually experience a mild or even asymptomatic disease.

COVID-19
Variant
Pfizer AstraZeneca
1 Dose 2 Doses 1 Dose 2 Doses
Alpha (UK) 83% 95% 76% 86%
Delta (India) 94% 96% 71% 92%

Fact #5 : Sinovac CoronaVac Is LESS Effective

A large Brazilian preprint study was just released, comparing the efficacy of the Sinovac vaccine against the AstraZeneca vaccine.

This study which involved 60.5 million people confirmed that the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine was less effective than the AstraZeneca Vaxzevria vaccine.

Even so, I must point out that the Sinovac vaccine offers significant protection against hospitalisation and death that unvaccinated people are at risk of.

Read more : AstraZeneca vs. Sinovac : Efficacy Against Gamma Variant

Protection Against AstraZeneca Sinovac
Infection 70.0% 54.2%
Hospitalisation 86.8% 72.6%
ICU Admission 88.1% 74.2%
Death 90.2% 74.0%

Fact #6 : Sinopharm BIBP Is LESS Effective

A recent study in Bahrain involving 1.24 million participants showed that the Sinopharm BIBP vaccine was less effective than the Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine, especially against the Delta variant.

The study showed that the Pfizer mRNA vaccine was 2.5X better at preventing infection, 10X better at preventing hospitalisation, 28.5X better at avoiding ICU admission and 7.5X better at preventing death.

But I must point out that the Sinopharm vaccine itself does a great job at preventing hospitalisation, ICU admission and death, compared to unvaccinated people.

It is just not as effective as the Pfizer vaccine, especially against the Delta variant.

Cases Per 100K
Per Week
Pfizer Sinopharm Unvaccinated
Infection 136.3 350.5 643.0
Hospitalisation 2.8 28.4 51.1
ICU Admission 0.08 2.29 6.39
Death 0.22 1.64 4.42

Fact #7 : China’s Success Due To Lockdown, Not Vaccines

China successfully kept COVID-19 cases flat since March 2020 through extremely strict lockdowns and preventive measures. This allowed them to avoid multiple waves that have afflicted many countries around the world.

We know that their success had nothing to do with the superiority of Chinese vaccines, because China itself has been busy exporting vaccines instead of using them.

Despite being the first to approve a COVID-19 vaccine (from Sinopharm), China only vaccinated 24 million people (1.6%) by the end of January 2021.

They have since ramped up vaccination, after India’s Delta variant crisis rattled them. But their continued success in preventing another COVID-19 wave has, currently, little to do with their vaccines.

Fact #8 : China To Offer mRNA Booster Dose For Sinovac + Sinopharm Vaccines

In July 2021, Caixin Global reported that China is planning to offer the Pfizer Comirnaty mRNA vaccine as a booster dose for citizens vaccinated with the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines.

This decision came after Chinese CDC deputy director Dr. Feng Zijian said that two Chinese COVID-19 vaccines are “less effective” against the Delta variant, compared to other strains.

This is a tacit acknowledgement by the Chinese government that the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines are not working well against the Delta variant.

Can Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccine Become Virulent?

Can an inactivated vaccine become virulent and infect you with COVID-19 instead?

Here is what you need to know!

Claim : Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccine Can Become Virulent!

Antivaxxers are now pushing the claim that inactivated vaccines from Sinovac and Sinopharm can become virulent, and infect you with COVID-19 instead.

In fact, they are claiming that many people are getting COVID-19 because their inactivated virus vaccine became “alive” and infected them instead!

Some even claim that the Sinovac and Sinopharm inactivated virus vaccines are merely heat-treated, and can easily become alive.

Truth : Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccine Cannot Become Virulent!

The truth is an inactivated virus vaccine cannot become alive again (like a zombie) and attack you. Here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Inactivated Virus Vaccine Cannot Become Virulent

An inactivated virus vaccine is made from viruses that have been killed.

They cannot become alive again and infect you, because they have been… KILLED.

People who claim otherwise have possibly confused the inactivated virus vaccine with the attenuated live virus vaccine.

The attenuated live virus vaccine uses weakened viruses that are still alive.

Fact #2 : Sinovac + Sinopharm Vaccines Are Inactivated By beta-Propiolactone

The two main inactivated COVID-19 vaccines are made by Sinovac and Sinopharm, and they are both inactivated by beta-Propiolactone (βPropiolactone).

Anyone who claims that the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines are inactivated by heat are mistaken or lying.

Fact #3 : beta-Propiolactone Destroys RNA / DNA

beta-Propiolactone reacts with the virus RNA / DNA, as well as its proteins, modifying them and essentially destroying them.

Think of it as scrambling their brains, and stabbing the viruses in their bodies.

SARS-CoV-2 viruses that have been exposed to beta-Propiolactone are “killed” and cannot possibly infect anyone.

The inactivated COVID-19 vaccine uses these dead viruses, with an adjuvant to give it “more kick”, to train your immune system to fight against the real SARS-CoV-2 virus.

And again, these dead viruses cannot become alive again. Whoever says otherwise is lying.

Now that you understand that inactivated COVID-19 vaccines cannot possibly become virulent, please STOP sharing such fake news.

KKM Did Not Warn That Vaccine Reduces Immunity?

Did KKM fail to warn people that the COVID-19 vaccine reduces immunity, letting them fall sick or dying?

Take a look at the latest viral warning, and find out what the FACTS really are!

Claim : KKM Should Warn That Vaccine Reduces Immunity

This viral message is being shared on WhatsApp, warning that KKM should warn people that the COVID-19 vaccine reduces their body’s immune system for 46 days, putting them at risk of falling sick or dying!

It’s a very long message, so skip to the next section for the facts…

KKM gives No clear guidance to people receiving the vaccines. So, this is very vital info for staying alive after the jab!
🟥🟨🟥

All who are vaccinated MUST READ!

To the editors-in-chief of Sin Chew Daily, China Daily and Oriental Daily:

Lately, many who are vaccinated have also contracted Covid-19 and died, among whom are middle-aged and elderly. According to report received, the dead were infected within one and a half months after the vaccination! 🟨🟥

I know that when we are vaccinated, our immunity becomes lower than before. Therefore, the chance of contracting Covid-19 is higher. However, most people lack this knowledge. After being vaccinated, they think they don’t need to wear masks, wash hands or disinfect. They would go to the market and walk around. As a result, they fall sick!

Truth : COVID-19 Vaccine Does NOT Reduce Immunity!

Like 95% of viral messages on COVID-19 – this is yet another piece of FAKE NEWS based on some facts.

Let me go through the claims and share with you what the FACTS really are. Please share this with your family and friends!

Fact #1 : COVID-19 Vaccine Does NOT Reduce Immunity

Let me be very clear – the COVID-19 vaccine does NOT reduce immunity.

The COVID-19 vaccine is nothing more than a self-defence class for your immune system, teaching it how to fight against the real SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Will learning self-defence in real life make you a weaker person? Of course, not!

The COVID-19 vaccine does not reduce your natural immunity one bit, not even for one day.

As your immune system learns to make antibodies against these antigens, it grows stronger, not weaker, against COVID-19.

Fact #2 : Side Effects Are Signs Of Immune Response

Just like how you sweat and get muscle ache in a self-defence class, you may feel a little sick after your vaccination.

That is not evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine has reduced your body’s immunity. That is your body’s natural reaction when your immune system gets triggered by the vaccine.

The fever that you may get, for example, is a way for your body to boost its immune response. So when you get a fever, your body actually produces a more robust immune response, not weaker.

Fact #3 : Full Immunity Takes Time

It is true that maximum immunity takes time – often two weeks after the second dose is taken (for a 2-dose vaccine).

The second dose is designed to kick the immune system into high gear, basically telling it – “Warning, this is not a one-time attack! COVID-19 can come again!

This not only triggers the immune system to create more antibodies, it also activates your memory cells to “remember” SARS-COV-2 for faster recognition and antibody production in the future.

That is why it is important to complete both doses of a 2-dose vaccine, and continue to practice COVID-19 precautions until your body has enough time to build its defences.

Recommended : Soap vs Sanitiser : Which Works Better Against COVID-19?

Fact #4 : It Does Not Take 3 Months To Improve Immunity

Dr. Zhong Nanshan – China’s top respiratory disease physician – never claimed that it will take up to 3 months to build the body’s immunity after COVID-19 vaccination.

On 1 April 2021, he told Hong Kong’s Phoenix TV that COVID-19 vaccines using the inactivated virus technology – like Sinovac and Sinopharm – usually takes 40 days to trigger enough antibodies to prevent infection.

Not only is 40 days not 3 months, his comments were regarding inactivate virus vaccines, not mRNA vaccines like Pfizer or Moderna, or viral vector vaccines like AstraZeneca.

Read more : Dr. Zhong Nanshan : How To Build Immunity Against COVID-19?

Fact #5 : You Can Get Infected After Vaccination

It is true that you can get infected with COVID-19 even after completing your vaccination. However, that is not because COVID-19 vaccines reduce your immunity.

These vaccine breakthrough infections are expected, because vaccines cannot guarantee complete protection.

Even the best COVID-19 vaccines – from Pfizer and Moderna – can only prevent 94%-95% of COVID-19 infections. That means 5% of those who are fully vaccinated using these vaccines could still get infected.

That does not mean vaccines are useless. COVID-19 vaccines are not meant to prevent all infections. They are meant to prevent SEVERE DISEASE and DEATH!

If you get infected with COVID-19 after vaccination, you will likely get a mild disease, or it may even be asymptomatic!

Read more : COVID-19 Vaccine Breakthrough : What You Need To Know!
Read more : Why Delta Variant Causes MORE Breakthrough Infections!

Fact #6 : We Must Maintain COVID-19 Precautions After Vaccination

Vaccine breakthrough infections can be greatly reduced once herd immunity is established.

In addition, vaccinated people who get mild or asymptomatic COVID-19 infections can still spread COVID-19 to other people.

So we must CONTINUE to take COVID-19 precautions, even after we are fully vaccinated.

This will help protect both the unvaccinated from getting infected, and the vaccinated from breakthrough infections.

China To Offer mRNA Booster Dose For Sinovac + Sinopharm!

China is planning to offer an mRNA vaccine as a booster dose for Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines!

Find out WHY China is switching to an mRNA vaccine!

China To Offer mRNA Booster Dose For Sinovac + Sinopharm!

On 15 July 2021, Caixin Global reported that Chinese drug regulators have completed an expert panel review of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine that was co-developed by Fosun Pharma with BioNTech from Germany.

The booster dose is currently in the administration review stage, according to Fosun.

Fosun Pharma Chairman Wu Yifang told a shareholder’s meeting on 14 July 2021 that they plan to start domestic trial production by the end of August 2021.

The Chinese authorities plan to use the vaccine – also called COMIRNATY – as a booster dose because inactivated virus vaccines made by Sinovac and Sinopharm “demonstrated lower efficacy“.

This booster dose is likely to be offered for free to those who received vaccines made by Sinovac and Sinopharm.

China administered more than 1.46 billion vaccine doses by 18 July 2021, the vast majority of which were inactivated virus vaccines made by Sinovac and Sinopharm.

It is unknown what role Fosun Pharma played in the development in this booster dose, as they do not appear to have any expertise in developing mRNA vaccines.

It seems likely that their role is mainly to produce the COMIRNATY vaccine doses, with their “co-developed” status offering political cover to the Chinese government, which has long touted the safety and efficacy of their inactivated virus vaccines.

If China approves this mRNA booster dose, I expect the current Chinese propaganda war against Western vaccine technologies, especially the mRNA vaccine, to quickly die down.

They will now have to work hard to convince the Chinese people that mRNA vaccines are actually safe and effective…

Read more : How Chinese Vaccine Propaganda Hobbles Vaccination Efforts

Why China Plans To Offer mRNA Booster Dose

On 24 June 2021, Chinese CDC deputy director Dr. Feng Zijian told the China Central Television that antibodies from two Chinese COVID-19 vaccines are “less effective” against the Delta variant, compared to other strains.

In that interview, he declined to name the two Chinese vaccines, but the Caixin Global report appears to confirm that they are the Sinovac CoronaVac and Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV vaccines.

Sinovac itself appears to be cognisant of this limitation, and have conducting clinical research on a booster dose of their own.

But it appears that the Chinese government is not going to wait, but will instead boost protection against the Delta variant using an mRNA vaccine instead.

The BioNTech mRNA vaccine booster dose is also using the Pfizer COMIRNATY brand, so it seems likely that this booster dose is either :

  • using the existing COMIRNATY vaccine, or
  • the new vaccine version Pfizer and BioNTech are developing against the Delta variant

It seems more likely that the booster dose uses the existing COMIRNATY vaccine, because Pfizer and BioNTech are only launching clinical trials for the new vaccine version in August 2021.
