HUAWEI AppGalley Festival Freebies For January 2020!

HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) is planning to kickstart 2020 with an AppGallery Festival!

For the whole month of January 2020, HUAWEI users will receive a wide range of perks such as vouchers from selected app partners like Agoda, Lazada, SHAREit and VIU, HUAWEI Points and HUAWEI smartphones.

With the theme New Year, New Start, the HUAWEI AppGallery Festival for January 2020 will feature three main promotions :

  • Download Apps & Get HUAWEI Points
  • Receive New Year Gifts at the Gift Center
  • Play & Win HUAWEI Smartphones

All three events are accessible only via HUAWEI AppGallery.

AppGallery Festival Freebie #1 : Download Apps and Get HUAWEI Points!

During the campaign period, users will be rewarded with 5 HUAWEI Points worth RM 5 (~US$1.25) when they download selected apps in the AppGallery.

In Malaysia, there are 16 apps participating in this event, so users have the opportunity to redeem up to 80 HUAWEI Points worth RM 80 (~US$20).

These HUAWEI Points can be used for in-app purchases (IAP) on HMS products including on the AppGallery, Themes, Mobile Cloud, etc.

AppGallery Festival Freebie #2 : New Year Gifts @ Gift Center!

When the AppGallery Festival kicks off in January 2020, HUAWEI users can claim app vouchers and gift packs from the Gift Center in the AppGallery.

The gift package includes RM20 Lazada shopping vouchers, one month free VIU Premium subscriptions, two months iFlix VIP subscriptions, seven days camScanner subscriptions, and more.

AppGallery Festival Freebie #3 : Play Games and Win HUAWEI Smartphones!

Players of Guns of Glory, Jellipop Match, Mobile Royale, Rise of Kingdoms and Saint Seiya will stand a chance to win HUAWEI smartphones by buying in-game items and paying through HUAWEI In-App Purchases (IAP).

This event is divided into three phases and open to gamers in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The top 30 spenders across the four participating countries will win a HUAWEI smartphone.

The first phase will run from 1st-7th January 2020 with the HUAWEI Nova 5T as the prize. The smartphone prizes for Phase 2 (8th-14th Jan) and Phase 3 (15th-31st Jan) will be revealed on the starting date of each phase.

How to win?

  1. Download the participating game(s) from AppGallery
  2. Play and purchase in-game items
  3. Pay via Huawei IAP with bank card (credit/debit) payment method
  4. Participants can spend on more than one game to accumulate the spending amount
  5. The top 30 in-game spenders across the participating countries will win a HUAWEI smartphone
