Truth : Angelina Jolie did not die suddenly at all!

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created and propagated by people to generate income from page views and YouTube advertising, and here are the reasons why…

No legitimate media outlet reported her death

These YouTube videos and articles have been circulating for weeks and months, but people don’t seem to notice that no legitimate media has reported her death.

Angelina Jolie is not just a celebrity, she is also prominent for her humanitarian work. Even if she did not die, the worldwide media would have reported on her health issues, as they did when she underwent a preventive double mastectomy in 2013, and a preventive salpingo-oopherectomy in 2015.

No legitimate media outlet reported that Jolie was hospitalised for any reason, never mind dying suddenly from a stroke or a car accident. That’s because it never happened!

Unsurprisingly, none of those who made these false claims ever provided any evidence Angelina Jolie died recently, never mind died suddenly of cancer, or stroke, or a car accident!

Angelina Jolie is still alive and well!

Angelina Jolie is still very much alive and well, as of Monday, 8 January 2024. Of course, you need actual “proof of life”, right?

Well, Jolie was seen and photographed on Saturday, 26 October, at the 2024 AFI Fest in Los Angeles during the premiere of her latest film, Maria.

As you can see – Angelina Jolie is not dead, or in the hospital. She certainly looks alive and very healthy for someone who allegedly died from a stroke or a car accident!

Angelina Jolie photos were edited

I analysed the photos used in these videos, and traced the origin of two examples used in many of these videos.

This photo which claims to show Angelina Jolie lying on a hospital bed, was edited from a real photo of Leila McKinnon.

The Australian Ninja Warrior host and Channel 9 presenter posted that photo on her Instagram account on 26 April 2022, after undergoing knee surgery following a skiing accident.

If you look carefully, you will notice that Jolie mysteriously has some blonde hair, behind her brunette hair. That’s because the fake news creator did not edit out the hair after superimposing her face!

This photo does not show Angelina Jolie’s funeral. It was originally taken on Thursday, 24 March 2016, in the town of Ballymagroarty, in Derry, Northern Ireland.

If you look carefully, you will notice that the coffin is really too small to hold the body of an adult like Angelina Jolie. That’s because it’s the coffin of an 8 year-old boy called Evan McGrotty.

Evan McGrotty died with his 12 year-old brother Mark, 46 year-old father Sean, as well as 57 year-old grandmother Ruth Daniels, and her 14 year-old Jodie Lee Daniels, when their Audi Q7 lost grip on a thick blanket of algae and slid off the slipway at the Buncrana harbour in Donegal, and sank to the bottom of the sea.

The fake news creator flipped the photo horizontally to make it more difficult to conduct a reverse image search, and added a photo of Angelina Jolie on top of the coffin.

Angelina Jolie death hoax Is Driven By Fake Fact Check Too

This Angelina Jolie death hoax is, ironically, also being driven by a fake fact check article by the MediaMass Project, which keeps “updating” the dates in their fake fact check article:

News of actress Angelina Jolie’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the October 2024 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the actress best known for her roles in Wanted or Tomb Raider is alive and well.

Their claim of a viral R.I.P. Angelina Jolie Facebook page is false. There is no such Facebook page. It is their standard fake fact check spiel for fake celebrity deaths.

The statement from Angelina Jolie’s unnamed rep confirming that she is not dead is exactly the same as statements from other reps MediaMass claimed were victims of death hoaxes, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barry Gibb, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Celine Dion, Clint Eastwood, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dolly Parton, Harrison Ford, Justine Bieber, Lionel Messi, Lucy LiuMadonna, Melanie Laurent, Mike Tyson, Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Pattinson, Simon Cowell, Slyvester Stallone, Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, and Tom Hanks.

She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.

Hidden in the description page for the MediaMass Project is a disclaimer that they are a “satire” website. That’s the usual “cover” for websites peddling fake news.

Regardless of their reasons, anything posted by MediaMass.net must be considered as fake news, until proven otherwise.
