Klang Valley residents can walk-in for vaccination at selected PPVs from 2 August onwards.

Walk-In Vaccination Details For Klang Valley!
Please ignore fake news that have been circulating earlier that walk-in vaccination will be available nationwide from 1 August onwards.
Here are the details of the walk-in vaccination programme for Klang Valley, as announced by JKJAV and the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, on 31 July 2021 :
Who Can Walk In For COVID-19 Vaccination?
The walk-in vaccination will only be allowed for people who :
- have NOT received a vaccine appointment yet, or
- had previously cancelled their vaccine appointment, or
- have NOT registered for vaccination, or
- are undocumented
Senior citizens who are 60 years and older, have a separate and special walk-in vaccination programme.

When Can You Go?
Malaysian citizens 40 years and above, or with co-morbidities : 2 to 4 August 2021
Malaysian citizens 18 years and above : 5 to 22 August 2021
Foreigners 40 years and above, or with co-morbidities : 9 to 11 August 2021
Foreigners 18 years and above : 12 to 22 August 2021
What Vaccination Centres Allow Walk-In?
Walk-in vaccination is only allowed at selected vaccination centres, from 2 PM onwards.
It will processed on a “first-come, first-served” basis”, and depend on the PPV’s capacity.
Those who are unable to receive their vaccinations on that day will be given priority for the next day.
Malaysian citizens can walk into these nine vaccination centres (PPVs) :
- Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) : HCO F
- Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) : HCO G
- Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) : HCO H
- Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC)
- Hotel Wyndham, Klang
- Dewan TAR Sabak Bernam
- Dewan Komuniti Serendah
- Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA, Sepang
- Ideal Convention Centre, Shah Alam (IDCC)
Foreigners can walk into only one vaccination centre (PPV) :

What Do You Need To Bring?
Whether you are a Malaysian citizen or a foreigner, you must bring these items.
- Proof of address in Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya)
For example : address on identity card, driving licence, utility bill, credit card bill, employment card, student card, etc. - People with co-morbidities : doctor’s letter or any relevant document that confirms your health condition or history.
Please note that foreigners who lack travel documents (undocumented) are ALLOWED to walk in for COVID-19 vaccination.
But please remember that you can only walk into the selected vaccination centres from 2 PM onwards.
Walk-In Vaccination Via Outreach Programme
JKJAV also announced the coming availability of walk-in vaccination via an outreach programme.
Here is what they announced about this outreach programme so far :
- it will start from 9 August 2021 onwards
- it will involve NGOs, mobile vaccination teams and other relevant agencies.
- you will need to bring proof of residence in the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya)
For example : address on identity card, driving licence, utility bill, credit card bill, employment card, student card, etc. - If you have co-morbidities, you need to bring your doctor’s letter or any relevant document that confirms your health condition or history.
JKJAV will announce more details of this outreach programme, including date, time and locations, later.
