For individuals who are 5 to 17 years old, with moderate or severe immunocompromise, the primary series vaccine is now considered to consist of 3 doses.

  • Those who did not receive a booster dose yet, will need a third dose to be considered fully-vaccinated.

3rd Primary Dose For Immunocompromised 5-11 Years Old

Individuals who are 5 to 11 years old, with moderate or severe immunocompromise, are recommended to receive a third dose to complete their primary series vaccination.

The third dose is to be given at least eight (8) weeks after receiving the second dose.

The first booster dose is to be given at least three (3) months after receiving the third primary dose.

2nd Booster Dose For High-Risk Adults

KKM is also recommending a 2nd booster dose for high-risk adults, currently defined as :

KKM is also offering the Convidecia vaccine from CanSino Biologics as a heterologous booster dose for all adults 18 years and older, who have received all doses of a primary series COVID-19 vaccine, other than Convidecia or Sinovac.

This CanSino booster dose is to be given at least three (3) months after receiving the second dose of the primary series vaccine.

KKM To Announce How To Get Extra COVID-19 Vaccine Doses!
