KUALA LUMPUR, 5 JULY 2017 – ECS ICT Berhad today unveiled the DJI Spark from DJI, the world leader in unmanned aerial technology. The DJI Spark is the first pocket camera drone that users can control by using hand gestures alone, which successfully removes the barriers between the user on land and the camera in the sky.
Speaking at the launch event today, Chief Executive Officer of ECS, Mr. Soong Jan Hsung shared, “We are very pleased with our continued partnership with DJI in sharing their products, making it easily accessible to our local consumer market. This is a testament to the group’s established reputation as the leading ICT distributor in Malaysia.”
Within its ICT distribution portfolio, ECS already offers different products from DJI including the Phantom 4 Professional, Phantom 4 Advance, Phantom 4, Goggles, Mavic Pro, Phantom 3 Standard, Advaenced and Professional, Osmo +, Osmo pro, Osmo Raw, Osmo Mobile, Inspire 1 and Inspire 2, which have been well-received by local customers.

The DJI Spark drone will be available at authorised ECS Dealers across Malaysia for the retail price of RM2,288 (including GST) / ~US$ 539, and the “Spark Fly More Combo” will retail at RM3,188 (including GST) / ~US$ 759.
ECS is the authorised distributor for DJI products locally, and the Group’s resellers are primarily IT retailers, hobby shops, large format electronic channels, mobile stores, and also camera and photography equipment retail channels. ECS is also the authorised service centre for DJI products, and will offer both warranty and after-sales services.
