Samsung Galaxy A42 : Affordable 5G Smartphone!
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is a new mid-range 5G smartphone, with a large 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, and a quad camera system.
Built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G platform, it promises to offer smooth gaming and speedy 5G connectivity (when it becomes available in your area).
Large Display
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a large 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, with a HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
Performance
Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G platform offers two high-speed Kryo 570 Gold cores running at 2.2 GHz, and six sustained-performance Kryo 570 Silver cores running at 1.8 GHz.
It also has an Adreno 619 GPU, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash storage. But if you need additional storage, you can add a microSD card for up to 1 TB of external storage.
Cameras
Concealed in the front display notch is a 20 MP selfie camera, with f/2.2 aperture.
At the back, it has a quad camera system that consists of :
- a 48 MP main camera, with f/1.8 aperture
- an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, with f/2.2 aperture
- a 5 MP macro camera, with f/2.4 aperture
- a 5 MP depth sensor, with f/2.4 aperture
Security
In addition to an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Galaxy A42 also comes with Samsung Knox built-in.
Large Battery
To keep the Samsung Galaxy A42 running all day, it has a large 5,000 mAh lithium ion battery, that supports 15 watt fast charging.
