HMD Global just announced the Nokia 3.1 Plus – their latest Android One smartphone with a 6-inch display and a dual-lens camera. Here are its key features and specifications, as well as its price, availability!
The Nokia 3.1 Plus Features
MediaTek Helio P22
The Nokia 3.1 Plus runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762), which has eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores running at up to 2 GHz. It comes with 3 GB of memory, and 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage.
Large Display, Large Battery
The Nokia 3.1 Plus has a 6-inch HD+ display with a 18:9 aspect ratio. And to make sure you get to enjoy it for hours on end, it has a 3,500 mAh battery.
Dual Lens Camera
The Nokia 3.1 Plus has a dual lens camera at the back – a main 13 MP PDAF camera coupled with a 5 MP depth sensor. The main camera has a bright f/2.0 lens, while the depth sensor has a f/2.4 lens.
The depth sensor does not take any pictures. It helps the main camera separate the subject from the background, allowing it to apply software bokeh to the background with great accuracy.
Nokia 3.1 Plus Price + Availability
The Nokia 3.1 Plus comes in the Blue, Baltic and White colour options. However, only the Blue colour will be available for purchase in Malaysia starting 25 January 2019, with an official price of RM 699 / ~$169 / ~£129.
