A year after Xiaomi released their first Android One smartphone – the Mi A1, they are now releasing TWO Android One devices – the Xiaomi Mi A2, and the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Here are the Mi A2 Lite price comparison, availability and specifications!
What’s The Difference?
The two devices run on Android One, but are quite different in many ways.
The Mi A2 has a traditional rectangular 18:9 display, and is powered by the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. It comes with at least 4 GB of memory but lacks a microSD card slot. It is thinner and lighter, but only comes with a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, has a wider 19:9 display with a notch, and is powered by the rather dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It comes with at least 3 GB of memory, and a microSD card slot. It is thicker and slightly heavier, but has a much larger 4,000 mAh battery.
In addition to those display and performance differences, the two devices also differ in their photographic capabilities. The more expensive Mi A2 model comes with dual high-resolution cameras at the back, and a high resolution selfie camera in the front. The more affordable Mi A2 Lite has a 5 MP selfie camera and a dual-lens depth-sensing camera at the back.
