Huawei just launched EMUI 9.0! Find out what new features it will introduce to current and future Huawei smartphones!

 

Huawei EMUI 9.0 For Android 9 Pie

EMUI 9.0 is Huawei’s latest operating system based on Android 9 Pie. Conceptually, it adopts a nature-inspired design that Huawei promises will transform the experience of their phones through sight, sound and touch.

 

Huawei EMUI 9.0 Key Features

1. Sight

EMUI 9.0 applies scenes of nature in everything from color selections to default caller portraits, using a combination of hillside, ice and rocks images.

It also implements a Smart Color Picker technology to ensure that even users who are not apt at choosing get the best colours to scroll through.

The AI interface, screensaver, and UI elements have been improved to deliver a more comfortable viewing experience. Huawei, for instance, reorganised various UI elements to minimise stress on the eyes – lights and shadow are replicated within this design such as the clock hands casting shadows on the clock face.

2. Sound

Photography and music have always been one of the biggest selling points of smartphones. With EMUI 9.0, users will be able to immerse themselves in a more natural experience with real-world sounds.

Ambient nature sounds like birds chirping and flowing water as ringtones and alarm alerts are among the many soothing sounds that will greet Huawei users.

3. Touch

EMUI 9.0 comes with a new mode of navigation for its users. Gestures will replace the traditional navigation bar without the phone losing any of its functionalities. You’ll be able to ::

  • swipe inwards from the edge of the screen to go back
  • swipe up from bottom to go to the Home Page
  • swipe up from the bottom and pause to access the multitasking interface

Especially for mobile gamers, EMUI 9.0 is able to reduce the touch-response delay by 36% when compared to EMUI 8.1 through its GPU Turbo 2.0 technology.
