The Disney-Pixar movie, Lightyear, has been banned in 14 countries, and quite possibly China too!

Lightyear Movie Banned In 14 Countries + Maybe China Too!
Lightyear – the long-awaited animated feature film from Disney-Pixar – has reportedly been banned in 14 Asian and Middle Eastern countries.
The ban started in the UAE, whose Media Regulatory Office of the Ministry of Youth and Culture announced on 13 June 2022 that :
The Media Regulatory Office announced that the animated film Lightyear, which is scheduled for release on 16th June, is not licensed for public screening in all cinemas in the UAE, due to its violation of the country’s media content standards.
A Variety report claimed that the UAE initially approved Lightyear for release, but revoked the licence after social media posts accused the movie of insulting Muslims and Islam.
That ban was then followed by other countries. The current list includes, but is not limited to :
United Arab Emirates
Saudi Arabia
Egypt
Indonesia
Malaysia
Singapore
Lebanon
Oman
Qatar
Kuwait
Bahrain
Although not confirmed yet, it is very likely that Lightyear will also not be allowed to screen in China.
Lightyear producer, Galyn Susman, said that Chinese authorities “asked for cuts”, which Disney declined to make. So she assumed that the movie would not be allowed to screen there either.
I’m assuming it will not make it to China. I know we’ve gotten requests for things to cut, Disney isn’t going to modify the material.
We’re not going to cut out anything, especially something as important as the loving and inspirational relationship that shows Buzz what he’s missing by the choices that he’s making, so that’s not getting cut
Why Lightyear Was Banned In Those Countries…
In Lightyear, the character of Alisha Hawthorne (voiced by Uzo Aduba) shares a brief kiss with her same-sex partner.
That’s it – a little kiss between two fictional characters. Unfortunately, it was a kiss too far for those countries.
Normally, Disney would quietly cut such a “controversial” scene from the movie to comply with “local sensibilities”, since it doesn’t affect the plot.
However, Pixar employees had earlier penned a letter complaining that Disney corporate executives were censoring “nearly every moment of overtly gay affection” in their projects.
We at Pixar have personally witnessed beautiful stories, full of diverse characters, come back from Disney corporate reviews shaved down to crumbs of what they once were.
Nearly every moment of overtly gay affection is cut at Disney’s behest, regardless of when there is protest from both the creative teams and executive leadership at Pixar.
Disney caved to the pressure, and decided not to censor the kiss from Lightyear. And so, all those countries refused to grant a licence to screen the movie in theatres.
Chris Evans, who voiced Buzz Lightyear in this prequel, labelled such objections as “frustrating”.
It’s great that we are a part of something that’s making steps forward in the social inclusion capacity.
But it’s frustrating that there are still places that aren’t where they should be.
He also told Variety magazine that he was frustrated that news coverage of the movie would be focused on such an issue :
It’s tough to not be a little frustrated that it even has to be a topic of discussion. That it is this kind of ‘news.’
The goal is that we can get to a point where it is the norm, and that this doesn’t have to be some uncharted waters, that eventually this is just the way it is.
Taika Waititi, who voices the character of Mo Morrison in the film, added :
We’re hoping for a time when we don’t even have to have this conversation. We can watch a movie and we don’t even have to bat an eyelid.
We don’t have to think ‘Oh wow, weird’. It’s not weird, it’s normal and it should be normalised.
Whenever you have these small steps that studios are making – sometimes they may feel small but also, they are steps – and it’s steps towards normalising humanity and love. I really feel sorry for countries who don’t want this film because of a tiny, weird little thing like that

People are sharing a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger sleeping in front of his own statue, together with this life lesson :
Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a photo of himself sleeping on the street under his famous bronze statue, and sadly wrote “How times have changed*
The reason he wrote the phrase was not only because he was old, but because when he was governor of California he inaugurated a hotel with his statue. Hotel staff told Arnold, “at any moment you can come and have a room reserved for you.” When Arnold stepped down as governor and went to the hotel, the administration refused to give him a room arguing that he should pay for it since they were in great demand.
He brought a sleeping bag and stood underneath the statue and explained what he wanted to convey: “When I was in an important position, they always complimented me, and when I lost this position, they forgot about me and did not keep their promise. Do not trust your position or the amount of money you have, nor your power, nor your intelligence, it will not last. “

Truth : Arnold Schwarzenegger Did Not Sleep In Front Of His Statue!
This is yet another example of celebrity FAKE NEWS, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : The Picture Is Genuine
First, let me confirm that the picture is genuine.
To be clear – Arnold only posed for the shot. He did not actually sleep in front of his own statue.
Fact #3 : He Was Filming A Movie At That Time
Arnold took that picture while he was in Columbus filming the movie, Aftermath (known at that time as 478).
He allegedly requested that the movie be shot in Columbus, because of his long love for the city.
More to the point – he would have been provided with accommodation while he was filming. He wouldn’t have needed to “comp” a hotel room…
Fact #4 : Most Of The Quotes Were Made Up
Arnold’s picture was only accompanied by this comment – “How times have changed.“. Nothing else.
The other quotes about being rejected by a hotel for losing his important position were made up.
Fact #5 : The Picture Was Not Taken Outside Any Hotel
Arnold took the picture in front of the Greater Columbus Convention Centre in Ohio. Not in front of any hotel, as the fake story claimed.
The 8 foot-tall statue was first erected outside the Franklin County Veterans Memorial on March 2, 2012, and moved to the Greater Columbus Convention Centre on October 6, 2014.
At the 2014 rededication of his statue, then-Mayor Michael B. Coleman told Schwarzenegger, “We want to memorialize that forever in front of our convention center.”
Fact #6 : He Did Not Inaugurate Any Hotel With His Statue
Arnold Schwarzenegger did not inaugurate any new hotel with his own statue. Why on Earth would anyone do that? It doesn’t even make sense.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was honoured with that statue to commemorate his commitment to Columbus, Ohio, where the Arnold Sports Festival is held every year.
Fact #7 : Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Rich
It is hilarious that so many people actually believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be so hard up for a free hotel room.
He is wealthy, with a net worth estimated to be between $300 million to $400 million.
Fact #8 : He Stepped Down As Governor In 2011
Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor of California for two terms – from November 17, 2003 until January 3, 2011.
In other words, he stepped down as governor 14 months before his status was erected in 2012! The fake story’s chronology is complete nonsense.
Fact #9 : Fake Story Has Been Circulating Since January 2018
This fake story appears to be created around January 2018, when it first went viral.

Claim : Amber Heard Was Just Arrested For Perjury, Cocaine + Meth!
After the Johnny Depp – Amber Heard defamation trial concluded, Vancouver Times posted a story that claimed Amber Heard was arrested for perjury and cocaine, only for the cops to find her with cocaine and crystal meth!
Amber Heard has been arrested by state police for multiple criminal offences including perjury and possession of cocaine. Heard is accused of making multiple false statements on the witness stand during her defamation trial. When police went to her residence to execute the arrest warrant, Heard was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine.
This comes after a jury ruled in favour of her ex-husband Johnny Depp, deciding he had been defamed by Heard, giving him USD$15-million in damages. This amount was later slashed by the judge to $10.35 million.
Lawyers previously warned that Amber Heard was is in “serious danger” of facing jail time over perjury charges after the Johnny Depp case. This recent arrest proves the lawyers were right.
Like many high-profile cases, Heard’s arrest has been subject to a publication ban, and it won’t be reported by the mainstream media.
The mainstream media and big tech want to hide the truth. Beat them at their own game by sharing this article!
Truth : Amber Heard Was Not Arrested For Perjury, Cocaine or Meth!

Fact #1 : Vancouver Times Is A Fake News Website
Vancouver Times is a “content aggregator” (copy and paste) website that is known for creating fake news to generate more page views and money.
To look legitimate, they copy and paste news from legitimate news organisations. To drive traffic, they create fake news, sometimes masked as “satire”. This time, they didn’t even bother to park it under their “Satire” section.
To give themselves a veneer of deniability, they labelled themselves as a satire website in their About Us section, hidden at the very bottom of the page, after a long list of comments.
Vancouver Times is the most trusted source for satire on the West Coast. We write satirical stories about issues that affect conservatives.
We are not affiliated with the mainstream media (CBC, CTV etc.) in any way, and any similarities between our content and the work of the MSM is purely coincidental.

No Evidence KK Died From COVID-19 Vaccine!
It’s becoming a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all celebrity deaths on the COVID-19 vaccine.
So it’s no surprise that they would immediately claim that KK (Krishnakumar Kunnath) died from the COVID-19 vaccine.
Here are the reasons why these claims are FAKE NEWS…
Fact #1 : KK Died Hours After Performing At Concert
On 31 May 2022, KK performed at a concert at the Nazrul Mancha auditorium, in South Kolkata, India.
After the show, he complained of feeling extremely cold, and returned to this hotel, where he was mobbed by fans who asked to take photos.
After obliging some of them, he refused the others and headed upstairs, where he reportedly stumbled and fell to the floor.
Attempts were made to revive him, but when they failed, he was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Fact #2 : Concert Was Overcrowded
KK was reportedly sweating profusely during the concert, although it is unknown if he was unwell at the time.
Many concertgoers complained that the air-conditioning was not working, and the heat was oppressive and there was a lack of ventilation.
This was likely due to overcrowding at the auditorium, which was confirmed by staff at the Nazrul Manch auditorium where KK last performed :
Our seat capacity was 2,482 but the crowd was more than double the capacity. The crowd broke the gate.
Fact #3 : KK’s Cause Of Death Was Cardiac Arrest
At this moment, there is no official cause of death. However, the preliminary findings of his post-mortem indicated that he died from a heart attack.
The Kolkata Police registered a case of unnatural death to investigate the cause of his death, and understand the circumstances that led to his demise.
We have started an investigation into singer KK’s death and a case of unnatural death has been registered with the New Market Police Station. We are talking to the hotel authorities and scrutinising CCTV footage to understand what had happened before he was taken to the hospital.
Doctors at the Kolkata hospital where KK was taken to, said that they suspected “cardiac arrest” was the cause of his death.
However, a post mortem examination was conducted to ascertain his exact cause of death, and the final report will be available after 72 hours.
The autopsy report will throw light on the exact cause of death. We are waiting for it.
At no point in time or circumstance did any doctor, police officer or any member of KK’s team or family suggest that his death was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.
The police have also said that there as no foul play behind KK’s death, and told the news agency PTI that the initial report shows that he died from a heart attack (myocardial infarction).
The initial report suggested that the singer died because of myocardial infarction. There was no foul play behind his death. Clinical examination also found that the singer was having prolonged cardiac issues.
The doctor who performed the autopsy also told PTI that he appeared to have a long-standing heart disease :
The vocalist had 80 per cent blockage in the left main coronary artery and small blockages in various other arteries and sub-arteries. None of the blockades was 100 per cent…During Tuesday’s performance, the singer was walking around and at times dancing with the crowd which created excessive excitement that caused a stoppage of blood flow leading to cardiac arrest.
Fact #4 : KK’s Vaccination Status Is Unknown
Currently, it is unknown if KK was vaccinated or not, against COVID-19. There is no COVID-19 vaccination mandate in India.
That said, India has a high vaccination rate with 81% of the eligible population fully-vaccinated, as of 25 May 2022.
So it is highly likely that KK was vaccinated, but we do not know that for sure.
Fact #5 : Most Indians Received Covishield
The vast majority (over 80%) of Indian citizens received the Covishield vaccine, which is a locally-produced AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
If KK was vaccinated, it is highly likely he received the Covishield / AstraZeneca vaccine. But again – this has yet to be confirmed.
Fact #6 : COVID-19 Vaccines Do Not Cause Heart Attack
Irrespective of which COVID-19 vaccine he received, it is important to note that no COVID-19 vaccine causes heart attacks.
The Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines cause cause myocarditis / pericarditis, but they are generally mild in nature and affect adolescents and young adults.
KK was 53 years old when he died. Even if he took the mRNA vaccines, they would have posed no risk at his 50+ age group.
It is also important to point out that COVID-19 vaccines are only designed to help our body fight off severe disease, and prevent death from COVID-19.
They will not prevent other causes of death, like heart attacks or cancer or stroke.
Fact #8 : VITT Risk Low For Males In 50+ Age Group
In rare cases, Covishield / AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine can cause a special type of side effect cause Vaccine-induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT), also known as Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS).
People affected by VITT or TTS will develop blood clots in the large veins of the brain / abdomen / lungs, together with low platelet counts.
This unique and rare side effect is seen mostly in women younger than 50 years old, and is exceedingly rare in males older than 50 years old – like KK.
Fact #9 : VITT Has Different Symptoms Than Heart Attack
VITT / TTS also presents with different symptoms than a heart attack, like a severe headache, blurred vision, speech difficulties, drowsiness, seizures, nausea and vomiting, leg pain, easy bleeding, etc.
From what has been reported on KK during and after his concert, up to the point he collapsed in his hotel, it does not appear that he was suffering from VITT / TTS.
In any case, KK’s autopsy will be able to definitely confirm if he had VITT / TTS, or a heart attack.
COVID-19 vaccines underwent massive clinical trials, and were only approved after they were proven to be safe and effective.
In addition, they were constantly monitored after they received their approvals, which picked up rare side effects after they were administered to billions of people.
Anti-vaccination activists have often claimed that those who received the vaccine would die. Yet, the opposite was true – the vaccines were not only safe, they were effective in protecting people from getting hospitalised or dying from COVID-19.
Fact #11 : Vaccine Side Effects Generally Last Only A Few Days
COVID-19 vaccine side effects are generally mild, and last only a few days.
In rare cases, the recipient may suffer from blood clots (AstraZeneca) or myocarditis (Pfizer), but they develop within days of receiving the vaccine, not months later.
If KK received the COVID-19 vaccine, he would have received all his doses last year. It is quite impossible for KK’s death to be related to any COVID-19 vaccine he may have received many months earlier.
Fact #12 : Claims Of Celebrities Dying From COVID-19 Vaccine Proven False
This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing celebrity deaths / injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.
So far, claims of celebrity deaths / injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance.

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS circulating on WhatsApp, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : This Hoax Started As Satire
This fake story started as a “satirical article” by the Russian “satire” website IA Panorama, with the title “Япония окончательно откажется от СВЧ-печей к 2020 году“, which translates as “Japan will finally abandon microwave ovens by 2020”
Like other “satire” websites, IA Panorama creates outlandish stories that are designed to go viral. To avoid the “fake news” label, they put a disclaimer at the bottom of their article :
All texts on this website are grotesque parodies of reality, and are not real news.
Fact #2 : It Gets Recycled Every Year
This fake story gets recycled and shared on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. every year, with the date and some minor details changed.
The original Russian story only said that Japan was going to ban microwave ovens. In the 2022 edition, that was expanded to include South Korea and China.
Fact #3 : Microwave Ovens Are Not Getting Banned
To be clear – microwave ovens are not getting banned. Not in Japan, not in South Korea, not in China, or anywhere else in the world.
In fact, China and Japan are the second and third biggest markets for microwave ovens in 2022!
Fact #4 : Microwave Ovens Do Not Make Food Radioactive
Microwave ovens work by generating electromagnetic radiation in the microwave frequency range, that excites polar molecules in the food.
This dielectric heating produces thermal energy in a quick and efficient manner, albeit limited to the outer 25-33 mm of the food item.
It does not turn the food radioactive, because the microwave energy is converted into heat as it is absorbed by the food.
Fact #5 : Microwave Radiation Does Not Cause Cancer
The radiation produced by microwave ovens is non-ionising, like radio waves and visible light. The only non-ionising radiation that causes cancer is UV light.
It is unlike ionising radiation like x-rays, alpha and beta particles, and gamma rays, which are high-energy radiation that can change atoms by knocking off their electrons, thereby “ionising” them.
Even if you are exposed to microwave radiation, you won’t develop cancer. However, the microwave radiation will convert into heat when absorbed by your skin.
Fact #6 : Microwave Ovens Are Shielded
The microwave oven is designed to be a partial Faraday cage on five of its six sides, with a Faraday shield (the wire mesh) on its transparent window.
This keeps the microwave energy it produces within the oven, and protects the user from getting “cooked” as well.
If you have seen a Faraday cage demonstration at science shows (like this example below), it’s literally the same thing, just in reverse.
Fact #7 : Microwaved Food Is Safe
Food cooked or heated by microwave ovens are safe to eat. In fact, using the microwave to cook is a healthier alternative to frying or barbecuing foods.
That said, you need to use “microwave safe” wares. If you use plastic containers that are not microwave safe, they could not only melt, they can leach dangerous chemicals into the food.
So the danger lies not in the “nuking” of your food, but in the container you use to “nuke” your food.
Fact #8 : Microwave Ovens Are Efficient
Microwave ovens are very efficient at cooking foods, saving both electricity and time. The fast cooking time also has the advantage of preserving the food’s nutrients.
Microwaving foods do require some preparation though, as the microwaves can only penetrate the outer 25-33 mm of the food item, and will be reflected by aluminium foil, metal utensils or containers, etc.

Their original 2020 plan to shut down their LCD business was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused a surge in LCD prices. Samsung decided to continue their business, until end of 2022. However, LCD prices have fallen rapidly recently, with price pressure from Chinese and Taiwanese rivals.
Its parent company, Samsung Electronics, was their largest buyer; but even it has agreed to purchase displays from Chinese and Taiwanese companies like BOE Technology Group and AU Optronics Corps.
Samsung Display To Finally Shut Down LCD Business!
In light of such challenging market conditions, Samsung Display decided to close its LCD business six months earlier.
From June 2022 onwards, Samsung Display will stop producing LCD panels used for large TV screens, and focus instead on manufacturing OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) and Quantum Dot displays.
Employees from its LCD display business are expected to be transferred to its Quantum Dot display business.

The video clip is being shared on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram with messages like this :

Truth : Polish Presenter Did NOT Give Nazi Salute To Ukraine @ Eurovision!
The truth is – this is yet more FAKE NEWS created by Russia or pro-Russia netizens, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : Invasion Of Poland Started World War 2
First, let me point out that it was the invasion of Poland by both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union on 1 September 1939 that started World War 2.
Approximately 6 million Polish citizens – over 20% of its population – died during the occupation by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, including 3 million Jews.
So it would be ridiculous for a Polish presenter to give a Nazi salute.
If she really did so, you can be assured that it would have been extensively covered in the world’s media.
You won’t see anyone mention this because it never happened.
Fact #2 : Ida Nowakowska Was Giving A Victory Sign
The screenshots that appear to show Ida Nowakowska giving the Nazi Seig Heil salute were intentionally chosen to mislead you.
If you watch the video clip, you will see that she was really giving a victory sign, while saying, Slava Ukraini!
This is no different from what countless people do when celebrating a victory, like Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Conclusion – Nowakowska was giving a victory salute to Ukraine, not a Nazi salute.
Fact #3 : There Are Neo-Nazis All Over The World
The truth is – many countries have neo-Nazis. That includes Ukraine. However, what is untrue are the claims that Ukraine is full of Nazis. Very few people in Ukraine are Nazis, or neo-Nazis.
It is true that some Ukrainian football fans unfurled a Nazi flag and did the Sieg Heil salute in Kiev during Euro 2012. However, they were a small but highly-visible minority.
Ukraine has a neo-Nazi political party called Svoboda, but it only garnered 2.15% of the popular vote in the 2019 election results.
Even the neo-Nazi Azov battalion was small, even after it was absorbed into the Ukrainian National Guard and expanded into a regiment. Only 10% to 20% of its members identify themselves as Nazis.

Conclusion – Psiuk was waving to the crowd, not giving a Nazi salute.

Next, you will be asked to complete one of these tasks to receive the “free” Nespresso coffee machine :
a) install an app, which is really a malware to send you advertisements, or
b) enter your credit card details
Needless to say – proceeding with this step will open you up to great risk of monetary loss. DO NOT PROCEED!
If you install their malware, you will start receiving promotions, some of which will ask you to send an SMS to receive expensive free gifts like laptops and smartphones.
If you proceed to send the confirmation SMS messages, you will be subscribed and billed for international premium SMS services.
So never click on such contest links, even if they were sent to you by a trusted relative or friend.
They would have certainly been fooled by the scam, so please warn them too!

Warning Sign #1 : Bad Grammar
Most of these scammers do not have a good command of the English language, so if you spot bad grammar, stay away.
Proper contests or events sponsored by major brands like Nespresso will have at least one PR or marketing person who will vet the text before allowing it to be posted.
Warning Sign #2 : Offering You Free Money Or Gifts
Please do NOT be naive. No one is going to give you money or free gifts just to participate in a survey!
Petronas isn’t going to give you FREE money, just because it’s their anniversary.
They are a corporation whose business is to make money, not a charity to give you free money.
Warning Sign #3 : Not Using The Real Jaya Grocer Domain
A genuine Petronas campaign would use their real domain – www.petronas.com.
Or they would run it off the official Petronas page on Facebook – www.facebook.com/petronas/.
If you see nonsensical domains like 0yjjg61.cn, 1eaf1rnbeef.top, ldxqw.bar, etc. that’s a sign of a SCAM!
Warning Sign #4 : Asking You To Forward The Offer
No brand will insist that you must share the offer with 5 groups or 20 friends on WhatsApp.
Do not click to forward their offer to your family and friends. They will not appreciate being scammed with your help!
Warning Sign #5 : Asking You To Download + Register An App
If you click through and joined the fake survey scam, you will eventually be asked to download and register for an app.
This is VERY DANGEROUS. Never agree to download and register for any unknown app from a website.
Always download your apps from an official App Store like Google Play Store (for Android smartphones) and Apple App Store (for iPhones).

No More HSO Quarantine For COVID-19 Close Contact!
On 14 April 2022, the Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM) announced that those who are identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 positive person will no longer be required to undergo quarantine!
From 22 April 2022 onwards, the Home Surveillance Order (HSO) quarantine requirement will be lifted for COVID-19 close contacts.
There will no longer be any HSO quarantine for close contacts, irrespective of vaccination status. Even unvaccinated close contacts will no longer be required to undergo HSO quarantine.
Asymptomatic (No Symptoms)
You are NO LONGER be subject to a Home Surveillance Order (HSO) quarantine.
However, for five (5) days from the last day of exposure to the COVID-19 positive individual, you must :
always wear a face mask when you leave your home
avoid crowded areas
avoid visiting people in high risk groups
ensure that there is good ventilation
make only essential journeys
There is NO LONGER a need to conduct RTK self-test, unless you are symptomatic. See the next section.
Symptomatic
You are NO LONGER be subject to a Home Surveillance Order (HSO) quarantine. However, you are advised to undergo a self-quarantine.
You are also encouraged to conduct a RTK-Ag self-test on the day you become symptomatic (Day 1), and on the third day (Day 3).
Once you obtain a negative test result and have improving symptoms, you can conduct outdoor activities. However, you must :
always wear a face mask when you leave your home
avoid crowded areas
avoid visiting people in high risk groups
ensure that there is good ventilation
make only essential journeys
However, if your symptoms worsen, you should seek treatment at the nearest healthcare facility.

Fact #2 : Bruce Willis Likely Fully-Vaccinated In Early 2021
Bruce Willis has never spoken about his COVID-19 vaccination status. However, it is highly likely that he was vaccinated against COVID-19 by early 2021.
While there is no general vaccine mandate in the United States, many film productions insist that all actors and crews must be fully-vaccinated to avoid expensive halts if an outbreak occurs on set.
Willis was extremely prolific in the last year or so, participating in 15 films since 2021. He would need to be fully-vaccinated to participate in most, if not all of them.
However, he would not have been “forced” to do it. He would have to willingly choose to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Fact #3 : Interview Quote Belonged To Mike Tyson
The interview quote that claimed to show that Willis was forced to get vaccinated was WRONGLY ATTRIBUTED.
Willis never gave a 2021 interview in which he spoke about being forced to get his COVID-19 vaccine.
All those websites that used this quote did not identify who interviewed Willis, or provide a link to the interview. That’s because it never happened.
The quote was lifted – word for word – from Mike Tyson’s interview with USA TODAY on 6 October 2021.
Yes, I am vaccinated. But I must say, if I could be kind enough to say, I didn’t do it willingly.
As you can see in this clip of the USA Today interview, it was Mike Tyson who said them, not Bruce Willis.
The most common causes of aphasia are stroke, head injuries, brain tumours and progressive neurological conditions.
And globally, strokes alone are responsible for 5 million new cases of aphasia every year, before the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, and long before the COVID-19 vaccines were invented.

Many people just share the pictures, with some comments about the pastor offering his female parishioners his holy milk.
This is the “full version” that some are sharing, and is being posted on various “viral websites”.
Pastor Makes Females Give Oral In Church, Says To Get Holy Milk
Sao Paulo: An evangelical pastor has been arrested for raping his faithful, after convincing them that his reproductive organs contained “holy milk” which they need for holy healing.
Sobrino Valdeci Picanto, an evangelical pastor from Brazil, persuaded his followers that he practiced his strange beliefs because it was the way he preached the word, saying that his ‘milk’ was sacred.
And this pastor said his reproductives was blessed and that “the Lord had consecrated with divine milk of the Holy Spirit” and of course, had to go around evangelizing.
“He convinced us that only God could come into our lives through the mouth”, a follower said,
“Often, after worship, Pastor Valdeci asked us to do perform oral acts on him until the Holy Spirit came through seed and delivered funds to the church.”
“He gave as an excuse that his reproductive organs had been consecrated with “divine seminal fluid of the Holy Spirit.” Valdecir came to abuse some elderly, and defends himself by saying that ‘he had an encounter with Jesus in a brothel and gave him the mission of spreading the sacred semen throughout the state, beginning with the faithful Apore Assembly, of which he is responsible’.

The truth is this is just a fake story, created by a “satire” website, and reposted by many viral websites for the purpose of getting page views.
Here are the reasons why this is just another fake story…
Fact #1 : Sobrino Valdeci Picanto Does Not Exist
There is no Brazilian named Sobrino Valdeci Picanto as far as we can tell, much less an evangelical pastor called Sobrino Valdeci Picanto. For an evangelical priest, he seems to have an extremely focused and limited digital footprint.
There are over 4,300 references to “Sobrino Valdeci Picanto” in Google and every single one of them referred to the same fake story.
More importantly, none of them were from a credible source like O Globo, The Rio Times, or even tabloids like Super Notícia.
Fact #2 : That Lady Ate Grass, Not Holy Milk
The picture showing a lady about to puke her guts out, is actually a picture of a South African lady who just ate grass on the orders of her pastor.
In January 2014, Pastor Lesego Daniel ordered his congregation to get on their knees and eat grass to “be closer to God”.
“God is at work and His people are testifying right now at the farm. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.”
After they ate the grass outside Rabboni Centre Ministries in Garankuwa (just north of Pretoria), he stomped on them until they vomited.
Fact #3 : The Lady In Screenshot Is A Porn Star
The “leaked video” does not exist, and the lady in the “screenshot” is actually a porn star called Tiffany Six.
The picture was a crop from a screenshot from one of her porn movies.
Fact #4 : It Was Created By Jesus Manero
This fake story was created by Victor Berriel, who posted it on the Brazilian satire blog, Jesus Manero on 11 January 2012.
The pastor in the original version was actually called “Valdecir Picanto Sobrinho“, not “Sobrino Valdeci Picanto”.

But even if you don’t care about Joe Rogan and fake news, Spotify has been slacking against the competition, namely Apple Music and Amazon :
its Premium account still does not offer lossless quality
its Premium account still does not offer spatial audio
Spotify still does not support 16-bit CD-quality audio
Spotify has rested on their laurels for way too long, and you – the customer- have the option of cancelling your free or premium account to show your displeasure and hopefully wake them up from their slumber…
Even if you are using a free ad-supported Spotify account, you should still cancel it. Your cancellation matters, because Spotify relies on user base numbers to hype up their popularity to please shareholders and negotiate with artists, record labels, etc.

The whole Spotify-Joe Rogan debacle started on 25 January 2022, when Neil Young asked Spotify to remove his music, if they refuse to remove Joe Rogan’s podcasts.
I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform. They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.
I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them. Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.
Without even pretending to show some faux PR concern, Spotify backed their star act – Joe Rogan – and immediately from their platform the next day.
Spotify Lost Over $4 Billion (So Far) Over Joe Rogan!
Spotify was probably hoping that people will ignore the “rants of an ageing musician” and stick with “misinformation from an ageing reality show host”. Unfortunately, the customers and shareholders appear to disagree.
Right after Spotify removed Neil Young’s music from their platform, the hashtags #DeleteSpotify and #CancelSpotify started trending on social media.
By close of the market on Friday, 28 January 2022, Spotify share price was down 12%, wiping out about $4 billion of its market value.
As of Monday, 31 January 2022, Spotify shares are up 4.4% from Friday’s bottom price of $165.72, but its share price is expected to continue sliding with news of more artists and subscribers leaving…
27 January : Spotify shut its live customer service, after it was inundated with complaints and requests to cancel subscriptions.
27 January : Mia Farrow mocked Spotify for choosing “to keep creepy, dangerous liar Joe Rogan over Neil Young“.
27 January : WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus thanked Neil Young for “standing up against misinformation and inaccuracies around #COVID19 vaccination.“
28 January : Joni Mitchell asked Spotify to remove all of her music, in solidarity with Neil Young.
28 January : Daryl Hannah criticised Spotify for choosing to “make $$$ off disinformation that harms folks“.
28 January : Spotify started telling customers they cannot allow cancellations because their customer service system was overwhelmed with cancellation requests.

29 January : James Blunt jokingly threatened to release new music on Spotify if they don’t remove Joe Rogan, while calling it #YouWereBeautiful

Should You Boycott Spotify For Supporting Joe Rogan?
In a follow-up post, Neil Young called Spotify the “home of life threatening COVID misinformation“, and a “damaging force” in the fight against lies and misinformation.
I agree with Neil, and point out that it took his gutsy move to bring this out into the open, and force Spotify’s hand – was it merely oversight, or an intentional choice?
Spotify made their choice, and it’s time for us to make ours.
Neil called on other artists and record companies to also remove their content, and stop supporting its “deadly misinformation about COVID“.
I sincerely hope that other artists and record companies will move off the SPOTIFY platform and stop supporting SPOTIFY’s deadly misinformation about COVID.

Joe Rogan has long been an icon of the anti-vaccination movement, which got a big boost when Spotify paid him US$100 million for the exclusive rights to his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE).
He used that platform to give anti-vaxxers like Robert Malone exposure, and the opportunity to spread even more misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines.
This troubled Neil Young so much, he wrote an open letter to Frank Gironda (his manager) and Tom Corson (Co-Chairman and CEO of Warner Records), asking them to remove his music from Spotify :
I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform. They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.
With an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, JRE, which is hosted exclusively on Spotify, is the world’s largest podcast and has tremendous influence.
Spotify has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform, though the company presently has no misinformation policy.
I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them. Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.
Spotify Backs Anti-Vax Joe Rogan, Removes Neil Young!
Instead of addressing his concerns, Spotify responded by removing Neil Young’s music.
They did not issue an official press release, but confirmed to Hollywood Reporter on 26 January 2022 :
We want all the world’s music and audio content to be available to Spotify users. With that comes great responsibility in balancing both safety for listeners and freedom for creators.
We have detailed content policies in place and we’ve removed over 20,000 podcast episodes related to Covid since the start of the pandemic.
We regret Neil’s decision to remove his music from Spotify, but hope to welcome him back soon.
Interestingly, their spokesperson avoided mentioning Joe Rogan, or explain why they did not sanction or warn him about the anti-vaccination misinformation he had been spreading in his podcasts.

SPOTIFY has recently become a very damaging force via its public misinformation and lies about COVID.
I first learned of this problem by reading that 200 plus doctors had joined forces, taking on the dangerous life-threatening COVID falsehoods found in SPOTIFY programming.
Most of the listeners hearing the unfactual, misleading and false COVID information on SPOTIFY are 24 years old, impressionable and easy to swing to the wrong side of the truth.
These young people believe SPOTIFY would never present grossly unfactual information. They unfortunately are wrong. I knew I had to try to point that out.

Does anyone else feel too many people are dying all of a sudden? And maybe the vaccine & booster is why?

No Evidence Meat Loaf Died From COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Dose!
This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS created by antivaxxers to scare people from protecting themselves with the COVID-19 vaccines.
The truth is – like Betty White and Bob Saget, there is NO EVIDENCE that Meat Loaf died from the COVID-19 booster dose, and here are the reasons why…
Fact #1 : No Evidence Meat Loaf Died From COVID-19 Vaccine
While antivaxxers are claiming that Meat Loaf died from the COVID-19 vaccine, they offer absolutely NO EVIDENCE for their claim.
The articles they shared as “evidence” do not mention that Meat Loaf died from the COVID-19 vaccine, only that he died with his wife and two daughters by his side on Thursday, 20 January 2022.
They only added those article links to mislead you into thinking that they are evidence that he died from the COVID-19 vaccine.
Fact #2 : Meat Loaf Was Against Vaccines + Face Masks
Ironically, these antivaxxers are not aware that Meat Loaf was apparently anti-vaccination himself! Or maybe they just didn’t care…
He was outspoken about his disdain for COVID-19 vaccines, and sharedStand & Deliver – the anti-lockdown song by Van Morrison and Eric Clapton.
He even called a flight attendant a “Nazi” for requiring him to wear a mask on a flight, and said, “If I die, I did, but I’m not going to be controlled.”
Meat Loaf refused to disclose whether he was vaccinated or not, like Aaron Rodgers (initially).
On 7 January 2022, his daughter Pearl Aday posted on Instagram that a number of her “friends and family” tested positive for COVID-19 but they were “doing ok“.
She also said, “Thank their respect for science that they’re all vaxxed, otherwise they’d be way worse.”
It is unknown if she was referring to her own father, but based on his rhetoric, it seems highly improbable that he would be fully-vaccinated, with a booster dose on top of that.
Fact #3 : Meat Loaf Died From COVID-19
According to TMZ, Meat Loaf cancelled a business dinner for a show he was working on – I’d Do Anything For Love, because he became seriously ill with COVID-19. His condition quickly became critical, and he died on 20 January 2022.
His official cause of death has yet to be announced, but all sources point so far to death from COVID-19, not a vaccine booster dose.
Fact #4 : Meat Loaf Died Quickly From COVID-19
The speed of how his COVID-19 infection progressed and turned critical suggests that he was not even vaccinated.
While vaccinated people can die from COVID-19, their risk of dying from COVID-19 is greatly reduced by the COVID-19 vaccine, and the booster dose.
As this chart shows, the vast majority of those who died from COVID-19 in the United States were unvaccinated.
The COVID-19 booster dose is nothing more than a third dose of existing COVID-19 vaccines – all of which have undergone not only massive clinical trials, but also post-approval monitoring.
They have been proven to be safe and effective time and time again, and the booster dose is no different.
If Meat Loaf actually received a booster dose, that would mean he was earlier fully-vaccinated with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and did not suffer any adverse effect.
Therefore, it is highly unlikely that he would suddenly suffer an adverse effect from a booster dose.
The facts currently show that Meat Loaf did not die from the COVID-19 vaccine booster dose.
Did they apologise? Correct themselves? Nope. They just moved on to the next celebrity death.

On 24 January 2022, McDonald’s announced that they have stopped offering Large fries due to a supply shortage.
We are facing a fry-tening supply crunch on French Fries. But fret not.
While you can’t Go Large for the time being, you can still enjoy your favourite meals and fries in Medium size.
Time fries… It’ll be back before you know it.
You can still get your Large drinks, but French fries will only be available in Small and Medium sizes, until further notice.
It is unknown how well this measure will work, since it does not prevent fans from ordering two Medium portions, instead of their usual Large portion.

What’s Behind The MacDonald’s French Fries Supply Crisis?
The McDonald’s French fries supply crisis has been brewing for some time now. It comes on the back of a global supply chain disruption of everything from computer chips to yes, potatoes.
It is partly due to a drastic logistics crunch globally, and partly due to a sudden short supply of potatoes due to bad weather.
In December 2021, McDonald’s in Japan had already stopped offering French fries in Large and Medium sizes. Only small sizes were available.
Initially, the Japanese French fries crisis was supposed to last only a week. However, it was later extended for at least a month longer, even after several planes were used to fly extra potatoes into Japan.
Kenya was also affected, with KFC there forced to completely stop selling French fries (known there as chips) on 3 January 2022.

The supply shortage has affected even smaller F&B operations, like J.G. Melon in New York City, which had to stop serving their signature cottage fries.
The rumors are true. Due to a supply-chain issue, we are temporarily not serving our legendary cottage fries.
Ironically, US farmers had to destroy millions of potatoes last year, after a steep decline in demand due to COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
It is unknown how long Malaysians will need to sacri-fries, or whether this supply shortage will spread to other countries.

2022 Chinese New Year SOP For Malaysia!
On 19 January 2022, the Ministry of National Unity released the official SOP for 2022 Chinese New Year celebrations in Malaysia!
They also issued two other SOP documents + two infographics with additional SOP, so I compiled all their rules here for your convenience. I will keep updating this article, as and when they issue new “clarifications”.

2022 Chinese New Year SOP For Malaysia : 23 January Edition
The Family Reunion Dinner is allowed on Monday, 31 January 2022.
Prayers are allowed in non-Muslim houses of worship on 1 and 2 February 2022 (Tuesday and Wednesday), according to the existing SOP under PPN Phase 4.
The special Hokkien clan prayers (Bai Tian Gong) are allowed on 8 and 9 February 2022 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
a) Prayers are allowed in non-Muslim houses of worship, according to the existing SOP under PPN Phase 4.
b) Prayers are allowed at individual house compounds at night, according to the Hokkien clan tradition.
Chap Goh Meh prayers are allowed at non-Muslim houses of worship on Tuesday, 15 February 2022, according to the existing SOP under PPN Phase 4.
You are allowed to visit family and friends from 31 January until 15 February 2022.
Chinese New Year Receptions are allowed from 31 January until 15 February 2022
a) only those who were explicitly invited are allowed to enter
b) NOT ALLOWED to members of the public who were not invited
c) continuous receptions like open houses are NOT ALLOWED
d) allowed at up to 50% venue capacity, with physical distancing
Chinese New Year receptions by companies or associations are allowed, subject to these restrictions :
a) held in a hall or restaurant,
b) limited invitations,
c) not held in public places, and
d) cannot be continuous, like an open house
Lion / dragon / tiger dance are allowed from 31 January until 15 February 2022, subject to the Creative Industry (Live Performance) SOP.
The Ministry of National Unity calls on the public to always obey the SOP, and take COVID-19 precautions like wear a face mask, maintain good hygiene and ensure physical distancing.
2022 Chinese New Year SOP For Prayers In Malaysia!
Here is the additional SOP for prayer activities at non-Muslim houses of worship during Chinese New Year 2022 :
Non-Muslim Houses of Worship must :
Open a health screening counter at the entrance, conduct a body temperature scan and look for symptoms like fever, cough, breathing difficulties and flu.
Make sure everyone is recorded using the MySejahtera application, or registers manually using the logbook.
Provide hand sanitiser at the registration counter.
Ensure that face masks are worn.
Worshippers attending prayers must :

Fully Vaccinated Definition
Under this SOP, you are only considered fully-vaccinated if you meet these requirements :
For vaccines that require two doses (like the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines), the individual must exceed 14 days after receiving the second dose.
For vaccines that require only one dose (like the Johnson & Johnson and CanSino vaccines), the individual must exceed 28 days after receiving the second dose.
For individuals who cannot be vaccinated on medical reasons, they must produce a medical report that has been verified by a registered medical practitioner.

Despite its name, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 is not really a second-generation Buds, but a more affordable version of the ultra-premium Galaxy Buds Pro.
Comfort
These are really the lightest and smallest earbuds I ever tried. Each earbud weighs just 5 grams, and if you fit them right – you can hardly feel them.
They come with three sets of ear tips – small, medium and large, allowing you to fit them snugly.
But please note that the Galaxy Buds 2 are not IPX7 water-resistant like the Buds Pro. These earbuds are only IPX2 sweat-resistant, so you should avoid wearing them in the rain.
Active Noise Cancellation
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 has two microphones to constantly monitor ambient noise, 98% of which Samsung says will be cancelled by its Active Noise Cancellation technology.
Its noise cancelling performance is good, delivering much clearer audio while driving (haven’t been flying lately!) and in noisier surroundings. However, don’t expect the same level of noise cancellation as premium over-ear ANC headphones like Sony WH-1000XM4 or Bose QuietComfort 45.
If you need to listen to someone speak, it has an Ambient mode (with 3 levels) that temporarily disable ANC and lets you listen to the outside world.
And when you take out one ear bud, the Buds 2 cleverly switches to Ambient mode so you don’t get disorientated, and switches back to ANC when you put the ear bud back on.
Audio Quality
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 has decidedly better audio quality than the original Galaxy Buds, but I suspect audiophiles will say that it lacks the refinement and richness of more premium earbuds like the Buds Pro or Sony’s WF-1000MX4.
That would not be a fair comparison, and it doesn’t really matter unless you are comparing them side-by-side. The Buds 2 sounds great, and you can further adjust it to suit your proclivities using its equaliser setting.
Instead of worrying about how it compares against its far more expensive competitors, it’s best to learn how to get the best fit possible for the best sound and active noise cancelling.
Connectivity
The Galaxy Buds 2 connects wirelessly to your devices using Bluetooth 5.2, with support for AAC, SBC and Samsung’s proprietary Scalable codecs, but not aptX.
The earbuds support automatic switching between Samsung Galaxy devices, but does not offer true Bluetooth multipoint connectivity – switching from your phone to your computer, for example.
Battery Life
There is a downside of the reduced weight though – a battery life of 5 hours with ANC enabled, and up to 7.5 hours with ANC disabled.
That may seem a little short for some, but it’s really not so bad because the ear buds support quick charging – popping them into the charging case for 5 minutes gets you another hour of use.
The charging case, incidentally, has enough juice for three full charges. That’s 20 hours of battery life in your pocket.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 : Our Verdict
The Galaxy Buds 2 is the cheapest and lightest pair of TWS earbuds from Samsung, and it boasts many of the best features from the far more expensive Galaxy Buds Pro.
Unless you have plenty of cash to splash, the decision is simple – just get the Galaxy Buds 2 and enjoy it!
Battery life is shorter and it’s not water-resistant, but the Buds 2 has a better fit and is both lighter in weight and on your wallet!
For those reasons, I think it deserves no less than our Reviewer’s Choice Award!
Frankly speaking, the Buds2 will kill a lot of budget TWS earbuds. Why settle for less when you can get an affordable pair of AKG-tuned ultra-light earbuds from Samsung?

The free WiFi 6 router that Maxis is touting isn’t exactly FREE as claimed.
Here’s what I just found out, and what you should know about their “free” WiFi 6 router.
Maxis Fibre Broadband : What Free WiFi 6 Router?
On 18 February 2021, Maxis announced that they would make a new WiFi 6 router available for FREE to all new and existing Maxis Fibre Broadband customers!
The WiFi 6 router will be available for free from today, 18 February onwards for new customers who sign up for Maxis Fibre plans of 100Mbps and above. Existing Maxis Fibre customers will be contacted in phases for the router upgrade exercise. Maxis’ specialised Internet experts, Maxperts, will also provide free installation of the router to ensure that the WiFi is optimized for the best connectivity experience for the home.
When I wrote about it, I thought that was pretty generous of them, and a brilliant way to reduce churn and eat into Unifi’s business.
I quickly called up Maxis, eager to give it a try myself. But almost 7 months later, no one from the Maxis Fibre Broadband team called me up about this free WiFi 6 router upgrade.
Today, I found out that what Maxis announced in February was not exactly the truth. Here are the facts…
Maxis Fibre Warning : WiFi 6 Router NOT Exactly Free!
When Maxis first announced the availability of their free WiFi 6 router, they specifically stated that :
it would be made available for FREE for new customers who sign up for 100 Mbps or faster plans, and
existing customers would receive the upgrade in phases.
Neither are true… which is good news and bad news.
Based on my conversation with Amir from their Customer Service team, and Intan from their Fibre Broadband team on 17 September 2021, here are the facts :
The WiFi 6 router is only available to new customers, and existing customers who are already (or almost) out-of-contract.
This WiFi 6 router will not be made available to customers who are still under contract.
Existing customers will not be upgraded in phases as claimed. Rather, you have to call up Maxis customer service to request for the upgrade.
Existing customers MUST upgrade their existing plans to qualify for the WiFi 6 router upgrade.
If you are on 30 Mbps, you must upgrade to 100 Mbps or higher
If you are on 300 Mbps, you must upgrade to 500 Mbps or higher
Existing customers MUST sign up for a 2-year contract, which introduces this penalty should you terminate the contract at any point in time :
Early Termination Charge of RM500 or the remaining monthly subscription charges in the contract period, whichever is higher.
For existing customers, the WiFi 6 router replaces your existing router, which will be taken back by Maxis.
Since this occurs at the end of a contract, this implies that the routers are “leased” and do not belong to you even after you complete the contract.
Their FAQ mentioned that the WiFi 6 router is only given free to “new installations for all plans of Maxis Fibre“, including their cheaper 30 Mbps plan.
There is NO MENTION in the Maxis website of any requirement to upgrade your plan, or sign up for a new 2-year contract, to receive this “free” WiFi 6 router upgrade.
As a long-time Maxis Mobile and Maxis Fibre customer, I’m very disappointed to see them quietly change the terms for what would have been a great upgrade for their loyal customers.
Forcing people to upgrade their plans when they don’t need the extra speed means you are essentially paying for the router.
That’s RM20 to RM80 extra per month, or between RM480 and RM1,920 for a 2-year contract!
Don’t be the fool who ends up paying RM80 extra per month for a “free” WiFi 6 router, unless it’s gold-plated!
I can understand if they wish to tack on a 2-year contract, but at least make it clear to customers in the website, including the early termination penalty!
There is one piece of good news though – even their cheapest 30 Mbps plan comes with the WiFi 6 router!
Pro Tip #1 : Call Maxis customer service and switch to the 30 Mbps plan, before asking for the WiFi 6 upgrade. This way, you don’t have to upgrade to a faster plan unnecessarily.
Pro Tip #2 : If you are currently on the 30 Mbps plan and don’t want to upgrade for the free router, call to CANCEL the service and migrate to Unifi or TIME (which always gives free upgrades!). Their Save team will call you up to try and salvage your business.

On 7 September 2021, the government announced that the entertainment and creative industry can reopen for fully-vaccinated people in Malaysia, from Thursday, 9 September 2021 onwards!
Development and broadcast of creative content through recording or live streaming
Live broadcast or live streaming of information or entertainment with fully-vaccinated viewers up to 30% of the studio’s capacity.
Indoor and outdoor filming by fully-vaccinated individuals of the creative industry.
Indoor busking by fully-vaccinated individuals.
Lounge hotel performances by fully-vaccinated individuals.
Cinema activities for fully-vaccinated individuals, up to 50% of the cinema hall capacity.
Live performances such as theatre, musical, music and comedy (through pre-registration) with fully-vaccinated attendees, up to 30% of the premise capacity.
Art gallery viewing in exhibition halls, museums, and art galleries (via appointments) with guests who are fully-vaccinated, up to 30% of the premise capacity.
Even though the entertainment and creative industry is reopening for fully-vaccinated people, everyone must continue to maintain COVID-19 precautions, as vaccine breakthroughs can still happen. Please continue to stay safe.
More Privileges For Fully-Vaccinated People In Malaysia
Here are some other privileges for fully-vaccinated people in Malaysia :
Dining-In
proprietors should provide more outdoor dining capacity for better ventilation.
proprietors must verify that customers are fully-vaccinated, by showing their COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate or card.
customers are allowed to bring children 17 years or younger to dine-in.
Sports + Recreation
Individual sports and recreation without physical touch, in the outdoors and semi-open spaces, are ALLOWED from 6 AM until 10 PM.
Permitted sports include jogging, exercise, tai chi, cycling, skateboarding, fishing, equestrian sports, archery, hiking, tennis (singles), badminton (singles), golf, motorsports and so on.
Dine-in is allowed in sports / recreation club house restaurant and cafe.
Customers are FORBIDDEN to use the changing rooms and shower rooms.
Picnic and camping are ALLOWED, including children who are 17 years or younger, subject to strict SOP compliance.
Night + Weekend Markets
Customers must prove that they are fully-vaccinated by showing their COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate or card.
Fully-Vaccinated In Malaysia : Do YOU Qualify?
To qualify for the privileges above, you must be fully-vaccinated according to these requirements :
More than 14 days after receiving both doses of the Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Sinovac vaccine.
More than 28 days after receiving a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson or Cansino vaccine.
In addition, these privileges apply to all states that have achieved adult vaccination of at least 50%.
For example, the Klang Valley achieved an adult vaccination rate of 64.7% on 14 August 2021, and therefore all fully-vaccinated adults in the Klang Valley can enjoy these privileges.

Fully-vaccinated people in Malaysia can now go swimming, play golf and badminton, amongst other things!
Here is what you need to know!
Swimming, Golf, Badminton Allowed For Fully-Vaccinated!
From 20 August 2021 onwards, fully-vaccinated people in Malaysia are given more sports and recreational privileges.
Who Qualifies For These Privileges?
Only those who are fully-vaccinated according to these requirements can participate in these sports and recreational privileges :
More than 14 days after receiving both doses of the Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Sinovac vaccine.
More than 28 days after receiving a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson or Cansino vaccine.
Children are currently not being vaccinated. So parents who are fully-vaccinated are ALLOWED to bring their children who are 17 years or younger to participate in these activities as well.
Sports + Recreational Privileges
Sports and recreational premises and facilities are ALLOWED to open, subject to these restrictions :
only open from 6 AM until 8 PM,
RESTRICTED to only fully-vaccinated individuals, and their children who are 17 years or younger,
60% capacity limit, under supervision,
workforce limited to 60%, including management and operations staff, and
subject to any rules and restrictions stipulated by local authorities.
New sports and recreational activities that are now open to fully-vaccinated people include :
all individual sports or recreational activities that do not require physical touch, with physical distance of 2-3 metres
swimming,
equestrian sports,
shooting,
tennis / badminton (single),
golf,
motorsports and so on.
In addition, fully-vaccinated people are ALLOWED to dine-in at the club house restaurant or cafe.
Sports + Recreational Restrictions
There are a few restrictions though :
It is FORBIDDEN to use the changing room, or shower room, at these sports and recreational facilities.
You are RESTRICTED to the same district.
Should You Go Swimming Or Play Golf / Badminton?
Frankly speaking, this isn’t a good time to be going out for a swim, or to play golf or badminton, as community spread of COVID-19 is rampant with over 20K new cases reported every day!
However, if you really must, here are some steps to mitigate your risks :
if possible, condos should not allow strangers to share the pool at the same time.
if possible, book the entire swimming pool for your family so there are no strangers present at the same time
try not to bring your unvaccinated children for a swim, unless you can book the entire pool
try to play golf alone or with family members who are already living with you, instead of with friends
try to play golf without a caddy to help you
try to play tennis or badminton with a family member who is already living with you, rather than a friend

Truth : Singer Joyce Leelyn Died From COVID-19
The viral message is FAKE NEWS, and is designed to drive traffic to the Filipino website. Here are the FACTS…
Fact #1 : Article Was Copied From Hype.my
The article about Joyce Leelyn appears to be copied from Hype.my, word for word.
It looks like ViralArticlesPH is nothing more than a copy-and-paste website like The Coverage.
Fact #2 : Joyce Leelyn Died From COVID-19
Joyce Leelyn died from COVID-19.
The viral message intentionally highlighted the part that her PCR test came back negative to convey the perception that she died from the Pfizer vaccine. That’s completely FALSE.
It’s even stated in their plagiarised article :
Initially, Leelyn was tested negative for Covid-19 but the doctor noticed that her lungs had already been affected. Her condition suddenly became critical the following day.
Unfortunately, when the family received the call again yesterday, their worst fear came to pass. Leelyn had sadly lost her battle and was tested positive for Covid-19.
Fact #3 : Pfizer Vaccine Does Not Cause Breathing Difficulties
Both the Filipino website and Hype.my chose to highlight that Joyce Leelyn passed away after having breathing difficulties.
Both of them knew that she died from COVID-19, so it seems that they intentionally highlighted breathing difficulties for “dramatic effect”.
To avoid confusion, the Pfizer vaccine does not cause breathing difficulties.
In fact, Joyce Leelyn only started experiencing breathing difficulties on 2 August 2021 – one week after her vaccination.
So the Pfizer vaccine has nothing to do with her breathing difficulties.
Fact #4 : COVID-19 Vaccines Take Time To Impart Protection
COVID-19 vaccines are basically self-defence classes for your immune system, teaching it how to identify and create antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Just like how we need time to learn martial arts for self-defence in real life, our immune system needs time to learn from the COVID-19 vaccines.
It usually takes the immune system about two weeks after each dose to deliver maximum protection against COVID-19.
It appears that Joyce Leelyn was infected just days after her vaccination. Therefore, she had little to no protection from the vaccine.
It was also her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and if it was the Delta variant as suggested, it would require two doses to offer robust protection :
