That was how Adrian Yu, Managing Director of Thunder Match Technology put it, when he explained how they came up with the name for their new brand of digital devices.
STOM Is Born
As Malaysia’s largest IT chain store, it was just a matter of time before Thunder Match Technology (TMT) came up with their own brand of digital devices. In this video, Adrian Yu details how TMT rose from a small retail store to 93 branches all over the country, leading to the creation of STOM with help from Intel and Microsoft.
Bruce Howe (General Manager of Consumer Channel Group, Microsoft Malaysia), as well as Sameer Tupaki (Head of Marketing Intel, Malaysia and Singapore), were both at hand to witness the culmination of their collaboration with Thunder Match Technology (TMT).
The New Devices
During the big reveal, STOM launched not one, but two, new mobile devices. The first is the STOM Spectrum i100 2-in-1 laptop. The second, the STOM PC Stick – their version of the Intel Compute Stick. Needless to say, they are both powered by Intel processors running on Microsoft Windows 10.
In this video, Ronald Cheong (Head of Business Unit Manager, Thunder Match Technology) briefs us on the key features of the STOM Spectrum i100 and PC Stick. Check it out!
