OPPO F1 – Tailored For Selfie Supremacy

The OPPO F1 features an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture lens and a 1/4-inch sensor, allowing for 44% more light to enter the camera than an f/2.4 aperture lens, and resulting in shots that are 30% clearer than ones taken with an ordinary 5 MP front-facing camera. The F1 also offers OPPO’s ‘Beautify 3.0’ that removes blemishes, highlights a subject’s features and includes 3 different beautify modes along with 8 filters.

Meanwhile, to make snapping selfies in low-light conditions a seamless experience, F1 users can turn on the patented ‘Screen Flash’ feature to ensure natural-looking shots. With Screen Flash, faces will always come through bright, clear and natural. In addition, the OPPO F1 can snap selfies using hand gestures and spoken commands. By opening a palm in front of the camera, or simply by saying “Cheese!” users can activate an automatic selfie with an adjustable countdown.

Snappy performance is one more key factor in the F1’s outstanding user experience. The F1 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 series Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, which can be expanded by 128GB, providing abundant space for photo storage and ensuring multitasking fluency.

In addition to the outstanding selfie features, the F1 also offers a great overall photography experience. The F1 sports a 13 MP rear camera with an ISOCELL sensor for reducing pixel noise. The camera also features phase detection autofocus (PDAF), delivering a focus time of just 0.1 seconds, equivalent to the performance of an SLR camera. Meanwhile, the anti-shake optimization feature enables the camera to automatically select the clearest image from a huge buffer of image data the moment the shutter button is pressed.

The camera is backed by OPPO’s own Pure Image 2.0+ camera platform, offering a huge range of filters and plug-ins for everyone from the aspiring photographer to the meme-making savant. Users can also experiment with Ultra-HD, which creates 50 MP photos composed of four consecutive photos, or other eye-popping features like Super Macro, HDR, Double Exposure, Slow Shutter, Super GIF and more.

 

OPPO F1 – Born for beauty

OPPO believes beautiful photos need a beautiful phone to match. The 60-degree angles of the F1’s two eye-catching chamfered edges are the result of precise calculations and numerous rounds of testing to ensure an unbeatable hand feel without skimping on any of the visual impact.

Meanwhile, the OPPO’s designers scoured three countries in search of the finest aluminum alloy for the back panel. After putting the Japanese material they chose through close to 40 polishing procedures, the designers were able to make good on their vision of giving the F1 a texture like “metal silk”.

The F1 has a 5-inch display and is a mere 7.25 mm thick. Its thinness, together with its slight 134-gram weight, assures that the phone feels just right. With its 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 Screen, twice as strong as ordinary glass, the OPPO F1 is extra scratch-resistant, making for a phone that’s both durable and attractive to the touch.
