The Western Digital & SanDisk Showcase

For the first time, Western Digital has a presence in Computex. Well, they basically joined SanDisk (their subsidiary) at their regular showcase in the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

Oh my! Managed to catch up with Mimi, Jolin and Jared of Western Digital!

What we are holding are the new WD Blue and SanDisk Ultra SSDs built using the 64-layer 3D NAND flash memory.

That’s 2 TB of flash storage with a 500 TB write endurance in our hands!

 

The Acer Computex 2017 Showcase

From my visit to the Acer booth – the Acer Predator Groton 700. It boasts the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX with Max-Q design.

The ASUS Booth Again

We made sure to drop by the ASUS booth again to check out the new ROG Strix GL702ZC. What’s so special? It boasts an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor!

And the latest AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU, of course!

Goodbye, Taipei

This year, we had to cut short our Computex coverage. But we still have many pictures, videos and articles to share with you shortly. But for now, goodbye, Taipei. We will see you next year for Computex 2018!
